Love To The End | 끝까지 사랑 EP.40 [SUB: ENG, CHN/2018.10.02] - Duration: 33:04.

(Episode 40)

Mother, I'm here.

Jeonghan's mother is here too.

She is. Come, sit down.

Hello.

I heard the good news.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

I was about to take her

to get some herbal tonic made.

I see. I'll go then.

Why don't you stay longer?

Hey. You know that

your brother and Jeonghan's sister

are dating, right?

I think I heard from Hyeongi.

What did he say?

Hello, come on in.

Why don't you go inside?

Shall we?

I'm sure you can't be pleased with my brother.

But I guess you're tempted, since he's from

a conglomerate family.

Do you want to lose more hair?

How dare you give me an attitude?

Look. I'm pregnant.

Sure.

I'm not the type to kill other people's happiness.

Sure.

I hope we can forget the past

and get along from now on.

That's why I'm being generous,

although I know he's your brother.

But why are they saying they won't get married?

They won't?

Hyeongi is the heir that the group chairman favors...

So he can't just marry whomever he wants.

Why not? Because our family isn't good enough?

We may not be as well off as Cells Beauty,

but we own a lot of land too.

Land? Do you mean the land the factory is on?

We have a lot of warehouses too.

The plot is huge.

And the hills next to it.

They have been bugging us to sell the land for years.

We can get whatever we ask for it.

Do you mean it?

If you don't believe me, come check for yourself.

The real estate broker is working so hard

to get us to sell.

Gosh.

The final lot is giving me such a headache.

Darn it.

This is about postponing the collaboration

between Cells Beauty and YB Cosmetics.

What is Cells Beauty like?

They have consistently beaten YB.

Are their children that good at their jobs?

What was his name?

- The son-in-law. / - Yun Jeonghan.

What does his family do?

They own Hwagang Glass.

It is a small glass factory.

What is it?

Nothing.

He's bold for a young man.

Okay. You may go.

This company can't be found online.

Doesn't Mr. Hwang run his own real estate office?

If he bought all the land in the area,

he either has a huge fortune

or someone is backing him.

We refuse to sell and he tells us

to close down the factory or move.

Why is he badgering us so much?

We must be a complete thorn in his side.

Think about it. Anyone else would have sold by now.

The truth is, when you collapsed,

that's what we expected.

But his son came back from the U.S.,

as well as his daughter and saved the company.

I finish work soon. Where are you?

I came somewhere.

Exactly, so where is that?

Hwagang Glass.

Why did you go there?

How could I not do anything when your mom hit you?

You want to get hit too?

That's fine. Bye.

Director Kang.

You really came.

- Go in. / - By myself?

It'll be more humiliating if we're there.

We'll be cleaning the warehouse.

- Good luck. / - Good luck.

I'm Kang Hyeongi.

My apologies for showing up suddenly like this.

Have a seat.

I'm grateful for what you did when my son...

Was arrested.

I heard you took a big loss.

I can overcome it.

I'm sure.

Since you're that family's child anyway.

I heard that you were involved in a lawsuit with

our group's beverage company.

That isn't all.

There are countless reasons why I'm against it.

I'm sure you say you won't get married

because you both know that.

I'm sure you're more upset

because Sena is my sister.

I have no right,

but I want to show you what kind of a person I am.

I know that you are a good person...

Since my daughter chose you.

I'm sorry that I can't confidently propose to her.

Please leave.

I can't even buy you lunch, for fear you'll grow on me.

I feel bad for Director Kang.

I'm going to just think about Jeongbin.

It's obvious she'll be hurt.

I was hurt too.

What did he say?

He won't even eat with me, for fear I'll grow on him.

What will you do now?

Is it like a deferred breakup?

Remember punching me here?

What did you say back then?

You said you'd never give up on your woman,

no matter what.

That's such a cool statement.

So, it was because of what he said to you

that you made a move on me.

You're so good at giving advice, so why...

Now that it's happening to me, I don't know

what to do.

It's embarrassing. Bye.

I'm sure it is.

Do you know who I met today?

Kang Sena.

She changed so much.

Now that she made up with Jeonghan,

it's okay with you too.

That's what she said.

You told her about us?

Are you out of your mind?

Why are you so irritable?

You're making me dizzy. Sit.

What? Are you waiting for Hyeongi to call?

He went to the factory to talk to dad.

Why did he go there?

I'm your mom and I'm here.

Because he isn't proposing.

He said he went because you slapped me.

What? If I beat you up a few more times,

will he come save you on a white horse?

If we want to get married,

I need to get him out of that family.

He's expensive.

How expensive?

He lost tens of millions of dollars for refusing

an arranged marriage.

What? Do you mean it?

Hello, mother.

Honey, how did it go?

I heard he went today.

Let's eat.

I have nothing to say.

He's so frustrating.

Gayeong, you tell me.

I should make dinner.

Hey. Hey! Gayeong.

How did it go?

He spoke alone with dad, so I don't know.

But what are you hoping for?

I don't know.

What are you doing? Hey.

Can you come out like this?

Did my dad yell at you a lot?

No. He's such a nice man.

I envied Jeonghan.

Still, conclusively, he's against it, right?

Yes.

Regardless, good job.

Is it my turn to go to your family?

No, don't even think about it.

Why not? Because I'm not good enough?

No. Because of my dad.

All he knows how to do is scream and yell.

Let's go eat.

I'm hungry.

Okay.

Let's watch a movie too.

What if you get slapped again?

Guess what my mom said today.

She said if she keeps beating me up...

Maybe you'll come and whisk me away

from my family.

Why is she so cute?

If only our family business hadn't failed,

she could've lived as a cute princess all her life.

It's a little sad.

Did you take a big hit

after losing the lawsuit against our company?

We went completely bankrupt.

Even after collecting compensation,

they worked the media

to make us lose all our customers.

My dad told you that too?

You should've said it had nothing to do with you.

I'm from that family, though.

I think I'm gaining weight lately because of Gayeong.

Father, why are you saying that?

Honey, is something worrying you?

Guess who I saw today

at Gayeong's mom's place.

Sena.

Is our in-law doing well?

What did you and my mother talk about?

That Hyeongi is a great guy.

She couldn't stop praising him.

Sure.

Honey, I really don't want to lose him.

And Sena completely turned into a docile lamb

now that she's pregnant.

They made up with her already.

Why can't our daughter do it?

Mother, what is that?

That looks like short ribs.

Where's my head?

I've been so out of it all day.

- Honey. / - Who sent it?

Well... That real estate broker, Mr. Hwang.

I told you not to accept it.

But... When I got home,

it was by the door.

It wasn't delivered, so I couldn't send it back.

Throw it away!

We can't throw away food.

Look. What is your problem?

I told you not to do this.

Come and take it away.

Hello?

Why that...

Throw that away now!

Okay. I'll take it to the senior center.

Darn it.

This is how I'm treated...

In front of my daughter-in-law at this age.

They are both so weird.

One bugs us to sell the land for 3 years,

and the other refuses, over his dead body.

Hwagang Glass?

The wife was bragging about their land.

Find out if it's true.

That's a piece of cake.

Do it right.

My expertise is real estate fraud.

I'm good at scamming wives too.

How do you do that?

First, I go after people around her,

get them to invest small money

and make them money.

After a few payouts,

they bring in everyone they know.

People around her...

Start with the restaurant, Jaedong's.

But Han Gayeong and Yun Jeonghan are there.

They go to work,

so just go during the day.

Then I'll have to plant someone.

It will cost a bit.

You won't tell anyone about this, right?

Don't tell Mr. Choi, either.

Sure.

She's a good actress.

Hey. You're home.

Where were you all this time?

He was worried.

I went with mother to get a tonic made...

That's right.

I told her to do it and I forgot.

So? What did he say after checking your pulse?

He said it was good.

I'll take it diligently, father.

Did Sena really change?

You heard what your mother said, right?

She said she was so nice to her.

It did seem strange.

She has nothing to get out of my mom.

What is it?

You hate Sena as much as I do, don't you?

If not, more.

It doesn't compare to how you feel.

Come to think of it, I never heard the story.

With that temper of hers...

I wonder how much she tormented you.

I don't want to talk about it.

Okay, I won't bring it up.

I've let it go.

But I guess you haven't.

It's nothing like that.

Is that right?

You need to come back to your old self.

What should I do?

I said I was fine.

Get over here.

Hey.

- Mom! Mom! / - What? What?

- Get over here! / - Oh, dear.

- Get over here. / - I said I was sorry.

Saying sorry does not cut it.

When did she leave home after fighting with him?

She's so happy after receiving that silly ring.

When would they ever have kids and raise them?

Get over here.

Gosh.

I give up.

I'm so out of breath. I can't play with you.

Why do you run so well?

That feels good. I feel like I can fly.

Don't fly away.

Come sit.

Why?

When are we having kids?

I haven't thought about it.

I see. You haven't. Then...

Let's have one soon.

Stop that. People can see.

Who? There's no one here.

Let's have one soon.

Stop that.

Hit me more. Go on.

Are you craving anything today?

Tell us. I'll call Gayeong over.

It's okay.

If I want anything, I'll just order in.

Gayeong is busy too.

She is such a good example for the baby.

Hello, Han Suchang speaking.

What? Who?

Yes.

Yes, I'm free.

Yes, okay. Okay.

Who was that?

What? A lunch appointment.

With who?

Chairman Jeong of YB Group.

Not Sena's father?

No. That was YB Group's secretary's office.

They asked if I was free to eat with the chairman,

so I said okay and they said

they'll text me the details.

It's here.

It's true.

You've never met the chairman before.

What could it be about?

What could it be?

Maybe he wants to restart the collaboration.

Should I ask my father?

(Sena)

You won't even take her calls?

Miss Sena texted.

The chairman called

CEO Han Suchang this morning

to ask him to have lunch with him.

What?

What should I say?

We only just found out ourselves.

What is there to say?

Tell her to just take care of her baby.

Okay.

That sly old man.

Why is he meeting my in-law alone?

Right? The business ended.

And he doesn't like Sena anyway.

He wouldn't buy lunch for no reason.

Is he determined to eat up Cells Beauty?

We'll see sooner or later.

- I'm done. / - That old man...

Didn't tell you anything?

I reported the cancellation of the collaboration

and he asked what kind of a company

Cells Beauty was.

But that was it.

What is he up to?

What was his name? The son-in-law.

What does his family do?

They own Hwagang Glass.

It is a small glass factory.

Mr. CEO, I'm here.

Hey, Gayeong.

I have a lunch appointment today

at a fancy restaurant.

Do I have to wear this tie?

What does it matter? As long as you're comfortable.

Right? The factory jacket

suits me best.

This stupid tie.

But who are you meeting?

Well...

I can't have word getting out,

but YB's chairman wants to meet with me alone.

His secretary called this morning.

Not Sena's father?

Exactly. It's kind of scary, isn't it?

Why should you be scared?

Don't be intimidated.

You were invited to lunch, so enjoy your food.

Okay. Here.

Okay, let's do this.

Give me that.

Hello, CEO Han.

We're in-laws, so we shouldn't be so formal.

It's nice to meet you. I'm Jeong Taesu.

Hello.

Seeing someone I've only seen on the news

in person like this leaves me in awe.

- Hello. / - Hello.

This is a famous hot spot in the area.

I see.

- I haven't seen you before. / - Me neither.

Am I that unmemorable?

I'm hurt. I came several times.

I'm sorry.

You made so much money.

Can't we go somewhere nicer?

The food here reminds me of my mom's cooking.

What you said today was of huge help.

I've only developed technology.

I know nothing about business management.

What are relatives for?

If you ever need anything, regardless of how small,

feel free to ask.

So, are you

able to obtain raw materials without a problem?

That's right.

How do you procure the glass bottles?

We have a vendor.

Hwagang Glass. They are excellent.

YB has a glass factory as well.

Should we reserve some lines for you?

That's where we make all of our bottles.

My gosh, you are so kind.

You gave us a factory to produce our masks too.

But... I appreciate the thought,

but Hwagang Glass is my in-law's company.

I've wronged that family quite a bit,

so I can't cut off our relationship.

I appreciate the thought, though.

You are a man of honor.

However,

you should consider the cost of raw materials.

Our factory is completely automated,

so it's much cheaper.

My gosh. What a shame, but I'll have to give that up.

The thing is, I had cut off our business ties

with them in order to stop the marriage,

but I ended up owing that family a great debt.

Sure. Please, eat.

Thank you. The kids' mom also runs a restaurant.

She is a great cook.

I'll invite you over sometime.

Do you like pork stew?

Of course, I do.

That was great.

How do you know things like that too?

I'm seriously in awe.

What? All I did was give you a tip.

Here you go. Since you ordered so much food,

this is on the house.

Thank you.

Thank you.

What were you talking about?

We found a great investment opportunity

thanks to him,

and doubled our money in 2 weeks.

Double?

Can you let me in on it too?

Hey, Haeri. Haeri.

Come here.

It doesn't cost me anything.

I don't mind sharing.

Hold on.

We'll pay.

- You made us so much money. / - It's fine.

Keep the change.

Thank you.

You'll remember me next time, right?

Yes, of course.

First contact made.

The chairman is on the move.

Why is it so quiet?

Father and Hyeongi,

even Duyeong.

Why is everyone so silent?

Hello?

Is father back?

- No, not yet. / - Not yet?

What are they talking about...

Sena, did you forget what dad said?

You need to avoid stress.

Bye.

Everyone is shunning me, is that it?

Just wait.

I need something for indigestion.

Yes, sir.

Do you have indigestion?

No. I ate too much.

My gosh.

Why are all of our in-laws such good people?

He was so kind and friendly.

Really?

You can't believe it, right?

"Do you need anything?"

"How will you go about exporting..."

He didn't say anything else?

No. He only said nice things.

I think the chairman also likes pork stew.

It's me.

My father hasn't said anything yet, right?

What could he do?

He can't go unless the chairman pages him.

Go to the secretary's office and monitor it.

Me?

Find out who he goes in with,

who he is in contact with,

and report it all to me.

You were banned from the building.

But then again,

Mr. Kang must be curious as well.

Tell YB Glass' CEO to come see me.

Who cares if the chairman meets a subsidiary CEO?

Not there, either?

Okay.

What's going on?

We're in trouble.

Why is there suddenly an issue with customs?

Are you lying?

Okay. Let's talk after looking into it.

How could this happen?

What is it?

I think someone is

buying all the imported materials.

How much can we produce with what we have?

About 3 days' worth?

We can't make anything beyond that.

What about Hwagang Glass?

The lawsuit doesn't make sense.

I think YB's legal team and a large law firm

pummeled them.

Okay. Thanks.

I've been studying glass lately

and contacted a friend at YB Glass and...

What about them?

He says it's a madhouse.

They are buying up

all the imported raw materials they don't even need.

If they buy up all the raw material...

What about the other factories?

Why are they...

Right? Well...

They were ordered to.

The chairman?

This kitchen has a cozy and warm feel.

What you see ahead is

a more urban style, fancier kitchen.

In the past, the kitchen was only for the housewife

but it's been changing toward a space for the family.

Please make them bigger, so the entire family can fit.

- Yes, ma'am. / - Yes, ma'am.

The raw material supply is dry?

What do you mean?

We're trying to find the cause

but if it isn't resolved in 3 days,

there will be a delay in delivery.

My gosh.

When I was having lunch with Chairman Jeong,

he told us to use their glass factory.

Should I not have refused?

What do you mean?

You didn't mention that earlier.

It came up after talking about all sorts of things.

He said his factory is fully automated,

so they can cut our costs in half.

I refused right away, out of loyalty.

(Love to the End)

What would they gain from ruining a tiny factory?

Tell me the reason.

Are you going after Hwagang Glass because

you hate Jeonghan

or because I'm dating their daughter?

You took all of his shares.

Now, you want to kick him out of the group entirely?

He was like a child to you.

What is the chairman after?

I'm back.

Why do you think I'm back?

4억뷰 TT 감사합니다TT - Duration: 34:31.

- Did it start? - What's that?

Not yet.

- Come forward. - 1, 2, 3!

One in a million. Hello, we're TWICE!

- I just did it but... - Congratulations!

- Hello. - ONCE!

Congratulations on 400 million views of "TT!"

- ONCE, thank you! - We know you saw it a lot.

We performed "TT" today.

- Right. - Really.

View count of "TT" surpassed 400 million.

- Right. - So, Sana and I made a promise

to go live on V LIVE if it surpasses 400 million views.

So, we're here on V LIVE today.

Sana, towel...

I don't wrap my hair in a towel after taking a shower.

- Let me get you on. - I do that. - No.

- Hang on. Jeongyeon. - We decided not to do that. - Let's not.

- We promised that we will make Dahyun use double eyelid glue. - Yes.

Dahyun! But we didn't seek your agreement.

If you don't want, you don't have to do it.

Instead, we will do that.

I actually watched you said it on V LIVE.

You already said that to fans.

And fans want to see it.

So, will you do it or not?

If fans want it and post comments, I will.

I mean, I don't feel like "I won't do that!"

If fans want, I don't mind.

- All right. - So I prepared.

- We're ready. - Double eyelid tape. - What's this?

- This is double eyelid tape. - Will you do this?-

- Comments. - This is liquid glue.

It's a new style of tape.

Everyone, attention.

This is a new type. It's like thread. Do you know it?

- Sorry? - I know. - Do you?

- How can we make double eyelid with thread? - It's thread.

- How? Like this? - Yes.

- Not tape? - No. Anyone who is good at this?

- Mina. - Yes?

Please do this. I've never done this before.

ONCE, do you want it? "Let's go!"

Me, me. I've tried it on my friend's eyes.

- Nayeon? I'm scared. - Sorry? No.

- I think I did it well. - Momo. Momo.

- Let's do it on one eye. - Please do it together.

- I didn't know we will do that. - Liquid glue or which one?

- Now... - Wet tissue. Over there.

- Wet tissue please. - Do you like to make it thick or thin?

Since I promised... Jeongyeon made it for me.

- That's not your way. - Sana does like this.

After she takes a shower...

- She's never done this before. - Never.

Sana does like this.

My eyes, without double eyelids.

- Pretty. - Stop. - My natural eyes. - Pretty.

- Pretty. - Scared.

- Do it well, please. - Can you do that?

Close your eyes.

- Over the eye shadow... - In the middle. - Yes.

We should apply it in the middle.

- Exactly in the middle, you know. - Open your eyes.

- It needs to be higher. - No.

Here, I guess.

Can we show at a closer distance?

- Shouldn't it be thicker? - No.

- Let's make a pretty line. - Open your eyes.

It's going to be like a hooded eye. Like this.

- That's... - Okay.

It casts shadow.

These guys...

You were expecting it, right?

Let's show when both eyes are ready.

While Dahyun is doing this,

- It was itchy. - Sana's. - Sana's promise.

- The promise was she would do this without makeup. - My stray hair.

- Don't do like this. - Really?

- It looks weird. - No.

This looks weird.

Isn't it too high on your head?

It's not easy.

Cute.

You want to try it since I do this?

- Me? No. - Why?

- That's too big. - I had a pimple here.

- I squeezed it today. - Did you?

- Yes, I did. - Let me see.

Right.

- I'm so good at this. Open your eyes. - No.

- She needs one more tape. - Fine.

Amazing.

- She needs one more. - Dahyun's eye is so big!

- She needs one more. - Dahyun,

- try this when we come back. - Dahyun's eyes...

- She doesn't have double eyelid. - Fans will be curious?

Look at this. She needs some more.

- Dahyun, look down. - Cute. You look so cute.

- Like this? - Yes. - Right.

Why does it look so sad?

Eyes.

"TT".

- Fans may laugh. - It's disappearing.

Because I turned it upside down.

Should we do one more?

What do you think, Chaeyoung?

I think her natural face is...

most beautiful. But it looks good on her.

Dahyun has double eyelids when she's tired.

I saw that so many times.

- Too distracting? - Yes.

Too distracting?

Nayeon, you're doing this so passionately.

Are you satisfied with the result?

Poor Dahyun.

About what?

What do you think?

- But this is too thick... - Dahyun has no double eyelid.

The line is too thick.

- Hang on. - Nayeon should not put on makeup.

- To show it to ONCE. - It looks like a difficult skill

- but it will look clumsy. - I brought it for ONCE.

- Good. - It was when we learned choreography of "What Is Love?"

- Now. - Now!

- Now! - Open your eyes!

- No. - That's the right way. - I want to see it.

Where's it?

- It looks fine. - It's fine. - Let me see.

- This one is too thin. - It's too thin.

Too big.

- It's getting thinner. - Dahyun, please sing a song.

- Which one? - Your part. Think it's a music show.

- Pretty. - remove your hand. - Strike a pose, please.

- Open your eyes. - This one is disappearing.

- It looks like this. - The other side's double eyelid is gone.

- It looks fine. - Does it?

- May I get a surgery? - This is the best we can do.

I want to make a thick one to make a contrast.

- Dahyun, what do you feel? - Makeup...

Well, I think my original eyes looks better.

- Before then? - Yes.

- When we learned choreography of "What Is Love?" first time. - Anything changed?

Many things have changed.

Before confirming the choreography.

- A guided version. - Right.

- We did it together. - Right.

I liked this part.

I liked the next part.

This one. We danced it together.

Right.

It shows the move better.

- It's bigger. - Different.

- Different? - We saw it on the previous day of shooting music video.

Right.

Going up and down.

How did you save it?

I found it today.

Pretty.

- Yes. - The latter part is the same. - It's pretty.

- Your arm is okay? - I'm fine.

- Pretty? - May I sit down here? - Yes. - The same.

- It's the same. - Just like Dahyun. - Really? - Yes.

- We should make it thicker. - Right.

- It looks uncomfortable. - Cute.

Cute.

That lemon is tasty. Try it.

- Chocolate. - Chocolate?

- May I put the camera on the original place. - Yes.

- Where did you put it? - There.

I mean, we had a thing in the front.

Here.

Like this?

- Will you have some chips? - Yes.

Let's talk with ONCE.

ONCE, we kept our promise. We kept our promise.

What do they think?

- ONCE's response... - "Current choreography is better".

ONCE says the audio is not good.

They hear the sound is breaking up.

I'm using the case that Mina made for me.

Very very cute case.

- She promised to give it to me. - Right.

- Will you give? - Yes. - You said you would give me. Why?

- You're using iPhone X. - Doesn't it fit? - No.

- I see. - It doesn't fit.

- I'm using iPhone 7. - Isn't it delicious?

- It's hard. Double eyelids. - What should we talk about?

What should we talk about?

- It looks more natural. - So far... - Well,

Having 400 million view... That's the first time every for a K-pop girl band.

- Right. - Really? - For the first time ever.

- That's... - Amazing.

So proud of this!

- ONCE is the best. - ONCE did a great job.

ONCE is the best.

Among girl bands, we're the first one to set the record

but you're the first fans who set the record, ONCE.

I think they should do this. "It's getting closer to 400 million views! Let's watch it again!"

"Go again! Let's watch it again!"

"For Dahyun's double eyelid!"

Please post a comment. If you watch the music video too many times,

you think you memorized the choreography, raise your hand.

I guess ONCE already memorized the choreography.

400 million view...

I hope to have it.

Do you want to have 400 million won? Suddenly?

- In the past, we talked about things that have happened over a year. - Yes.

Let's talk about that in Korea.

- All right. - Good. - Since "TT?"

- Since "TT?" - No, this year. 2018.

In January, I remember we performed on "Golden Disc Awards" for 2 days in a row.

- Right. - I talked about it with Momo yesterday.

- Right. - Right? - Right.

- What did we do on Golden Disc? - The rain coat. - Umbrellas.

Right.

- Right. - With it, "Like OOH-AHH". - I think that is the best.

- "TT?" - At the amusement park.

I performed with bangs for one day and without them for another day.

- We had a concert tour in February. - Yes, since the end of January.

- Right, a showcase tour in Japan. - A showcase tour.

- "Candy Pop". - It feels like a long time ago.

- And we prepared "What Is Love?" album in February. - Right.

- Photoshoot for the album cover, music video. - Right after the holidays.

- "Likey?" - I remember we talked about weight gaining after a long holidays.

- We had the photoshoot on the next day of Lunar New Year's Day. - "Likey" came out last year.

Is it last year? What about "Candy Pop?" Last year?

- What's this? - We recorded "Candy Pop" a long time ago. - Glue.

I was too tired back then.

I felt like I was half-dead.

- It came out this year. - In February. - Yes.

That's why we had a showcase tour.

So, "Candy Pop" was recently released!

- We shot the music video a long time ago. - Right.

- In March. - With "Likey". - When we prepared "Likey".

- What happened at the end of February? - In February...

Let's see.

- We promoted. - Yes.

We kept practicing "What Is Love?"

We prepared for it and there were Lunar New Year's Day holidays.

- Are you reading our schedule of last year? - No, this year. - This year?

We practiced "What Is Love?"

I think we shot the music video in March.

In March, we worked in Japan a lot.

- Right, we did. - So many times.

We visited Japan, Thailand and Chile.

- In March, all of them. - That was March.

We went to Thailand to shoot a commercial.

- We went back to Japan. - And then, to Chile.

- When we did... - We wore "What Is Love" T-shirts.

- Right. - Right.

- In Phuket. - Right.

- And... - Who went to Phuket? - Us! To shoot a commercial.

- On the beach. - Chile. - And in April,

we had a showcase for "What Is Love?"

- And promoted it. - Mo-Mi-Chaeng appeared on "King of Mask Singer" as a panel.

Right, we danced to "Baby Shark".

Right, they shot MCountdown Next Week separately.

- Right. - What did we do? - Next Week? - Macaroon. - Baking it.

Amazing! On April 13, we did so many things!

What did we do?

- What did we do? - First, we went to KBS.

Then, we pre-recorded the show.

Later, we moved from KBS to MBC.

Appeared on a radio show, and moved to KBS.

We had a meeting to read a script and did a camera rehearsal.

- And performed on a live show. - When was it?

- Right after coming back from Japan, we shot "Running Man". - On April 13. - When we came back.

- It was fun. - Right.

- But I was too tired. - I came down with a cold.

- Ku ku ka ka. - Ku ku ka ka.

- Okay, ku ku ka ka. - The list on April 19 is longer than a page.

- I can't read. - April 18? - Amazing.

- Passports were re-issued on April 16. - On April 20! - 20.

That's amazing.

We did so many things.

- A lot. - On April 21...

ONCE, what's the most memorable event this year?

"I WANT YOU BACK".

We're together but talking about things individually.

- Right. - It looks like how we do at the dorm.

- Separately. - We did so many things in April, May and June.

- After "What Is Love?" came out, - In May, we shot "I WANT YOU BACK".

We did so many things that I can't pick one. I remember everything.

Right, we started practicing for the concert in May.

- We had a concert in May. - Yes.

- Why did we start practicing in May? - We did it like for 2 weeks.

2 weeks? We spent only 2 weeks.

- It was nice. - Now, it's September.

- Right, not many months are left. - It will be Christmas soon.

- My birthday comes 4 days later, after Christmas. - I bought a next year's diary.

- Already? - She bought me one.

- Diary. - Momo will keep a journal for diet. - Diet?

- I will. - Let's read comments.

- Please read. - Salty.

- Isn't it delicious? - But it's salty.

- Salty. - Today is a confession day.

- Sorry? - Anyone who wants to confess? - Confession.

Like, "To be honest, I did this".

- What's this? - Chocolate.

There were a lot of things like that.

To be honest, I did this secretly.

- How does it taste? - Purple sweet potato.

In fact, I had chips alone.

You always do that.

And you brought the leftover here.

In fact, yesterday...

I went to bed at 3 AM in the morning.

I did at 4 AM.

- I did at 4 AM. - I chatted until 2:30 AM.

- I heard your voices. - Really?

What?

I bought a lot of Anpanman chocolate.

- Why did you laugh? - What chocolate?

- Anpanaman. - Anpanman chocolate. - Will you give me one? - I bought a lot.

- Will you give me on? - Why did you buy so many? To gain weight?

- Yes, I will buy some more. - It's delicious.

- Why? - Give me one. - Okay.

Why are you there?

To read comments.

I feel sleepy. Is it okay?

- It feels like my eyes are getting heavier. - No.

My eyes are heavy.

- Are you still having it? - Please read Japanese comments.

- Sorry? - Comments in Japanese.

- Too fast. - "Love you," "Love you".

Fans say the audio quality is bad. What's happening?

I guess it's because of our voice.

- No way. - What's this phone?

- "The audio quality is bad. - Is it because of wi-fi?

- They complain about it. - I want to talk about the hotel thing but I can't.

- Hotel thing? - Hotel?

The scary one?

- No, no. - It's scary.

- Bag? - Cover? - I think I should remove something.

The cover?

- I guess it doesn't matter. - In fact,

- only a small fraction of my little toenail is left. - My little finger...

What does it mean? Only a small fraction of little toenail?

- It's discolored? - Yes.

It means that Jihyo's fingernail is flaky.

- Read comments. - Hang on.

- "Momo," "Momo". - Let me see if there's any thing to read.

They say their ears hurt. What's wrong with this? -

- Why is it? - Because we're too loud?

Is it? We're too loud?

"It's better".

- I guess it was because of this. - Or it's me. I came closer. - No way.

- Read comments. - I got the idea.

It's because of the phone case.

- Really fast. - Today is a confession day.

- Right. If you have anything to confess, go ahead. - Love you.

- Love you. - I'm popular among the youngest members. - "Momoring".

"Sana". "Sana".

- Love you. - They talk about the audio sound again.

- They said they loved me. - Did you eat up all the jelly beans?

- Too fast. - It's coming up so quickly.

"Jeongyeon, so beautiful".

- "Jeongyeon, so beautiful". - Thank you.

- Give me some jelly beans. - I will have it.

A lot of comments in foreign languages.

- I guess a lot of international ONCE is watching now. - "Dahyun, love you".

"You did a great job on Music Station".

Why do they say "Taxi" a lot?

- Why? A lot of "Taxi". - ONCE, is it

so much fun?

I guess they want to see it.

- Please do that. - I did it so many times.

Please do it wearing it.

I can do it but...

"Good Taxi".

At our concert,

fans show it like this.

ONCE dances to "Taxi".

- I can do that. - We performed on "Music Station".

It was a live broadcast.

I was nervous when saying in Japanese.

- "Jihyo..." - If you confess your love,

Christmas will be the 100th day since you started dating.

- Really? - That's why it's confession day. - What's the point of that?

We should celebrate Christmas and the 100th day separately.

- Look at this. - What's this?

Golden tissue.

Can we buy it outside?

- No. - Only guests can get this.

"Be as ONE".

"Jihyo, please sing Be as ONE".

I don't like it. How much will you give?

Jihyo, why do you look like that?

There's no comment like that.

Jihyo, your face is too big!

Hey, stop teasing her.

Dahyun, you look so happy.

She's hilarious.

Jeongyeon, stop eating.

- Sana looks like she's in a dry sauna. - Right.

I don't like this but...

Jeongyeon is too loud!

Jeongyeon, you're too loud!

Too loud.

Momo is loud, too.

Nayeon, I don't want to see your butt. Please sit down.

- Can I have it? - Will you sit upright?

- Can I have this? - Yes.

"Jihyo is so pretty".

"Chaeyoung, I love you".

- Love you. - No comment for me?

- No. - Nothing. - "Sana, sexy".

ONCE, as "TT" has garnered

400 million views,

ask us 10 questions.

Right, ask us.

- Questions. - But it needs to be unique and something we've never heard of.

- Okay. - Then, Nayeon will make an acrostic poem.

2, 3! "Sa(four)".

400 million view.

400 million view, sorry?

Your butt, please...

- We can't help since she did "Ku ku ka ka". - Ku ku ka ka.

- We can't help. - Right. - Ku ku ka ka.

Ku ku ka ka

"Sa".

It surpassed 400 million views.

- Eok (100 million). - Argh!

- "View". - View!!!

Oh, really...

So, do we have any questions?

Let me ask questions.

Not this one.

Nayeon's forehead is shining.

- Sorry? - On trending... - Are we on trending?

- TWICE? - On trending!

- On trending... - How many ONCE are out there?

Do we have "Taxi" on trending?

- If we have it on trending... - If "Taxi" is on trending, Sana will do it.

Let's make it on the list!

TWICE taxi.

TWICE taxi.

- TWICE... - I guess it's for Cacao Taxi.

TWICE... What's the rank?

10th?

- I want to see. - 12th. - 12th?

- Then, TWICE... - It will go up to the 2nd, as it's TWICE.

- No, it can't. - 4th.

- 4th? - Because it's 400 million views.

- Sine it's 400 million views... - If TWICE hits 4th on trending,

- I will do something. - What will you do?

Will you buy me lunch?

- Something good for ONCE. - For ONCE...

I will...

- What will you do? - If we... No, we can't. - Why?

- Let's do it. - No.

- Then, - Yes.

- Jihyo will sing "Be as ONE". - Okay. - Okay.

- Okay. - Okay. - If TWICE hits the 4th on trending,

Jihyo will sing "Be as ONE" live!

Jihyo will sing the entire song.

It was at the 14th but now it's the 13th.

- No, it was the 12th. - The 12th? - It came down.

It came down.

It came down.

We have a question. But it's too provocative and I will skip it.

- Hang on. Guess the 17th on trending. - What's that?

- Sorry? - Please guess.

17th? How can I know?

- Guess. - Taxi? TWICE taxi?

Double eyelids.

Really?

- Really? - The 17th on trending is that?

I can't believe it.

- Double eyelids. - Double eyelids?

- 17th. - 16th now. - Amazing.

- ONCE! - Awesome. - Dahyun is amazing.

- Issue. - It became the 16th. - Hot issue. Double eyelids. - Any question?

It went up by a notch.

- Tzuyu, please say something. - What if it goes up to the 4th?

- Me? - Me, too. - Tzuyu.

- Me? - Please say to fans.

- Aren't we having questions? - Is there any question?

- There's no question. - No?

Only questions are "When will you come back?"

We won't come back.

I have a lot of things to say.

- I want to talk about something. - It's too fast. - What's that?

- Tell us. - Concentrate.

- Well... - TWICE is the 10th. - Everyone.

We don't have anything to give a spoiler.

Fans think the thing Nayeon and I do is a spoiler.

Whenever I do something, fans think it's a spoiler.

"Nayeon, will you have any plan to do the TT hair style again?"

Yes.

I mean,

I won't do that.

Anyways, I have never given a spoiler.

- We don't have anything to give a spoiler. - Right.

- Right, everyone? - Nope! - There's nothing going on.

- We have nothing to reveal. So there's no spoiler. - We're too busy now.

I didn't give a spoiler at all. It's just a shaker. I shook it.

I have something to say.

I sing the last part of "Be as ONE".

- Congratulations. - Congrats.

Fans say it's Mina and Chaeyoung.

- You didn't like it? - I just wanted to say.

- Please sing it, to prove it! - Go!

It is not her.

It's not her. It's Chaeyoung and Mina.

- I sang well. - Right.

ONCE, please leave comments. Any questions?

A lot of fans are watching now.

- Really? - Yes. - "Love you, Dahyun".

- How we look... - I will find something from Jeongyeon's iPad.

There's nothing much.

Is this...

Nothing.

- Nothing. - Jeongyeon's hair was too light.

It's a picture I took.

It's too bright to see.

What's this?

There's nothing to show, but she's nervous.

- Application. - Don't show such things.

Application.

Let's see what apps she is using.

Jeongyeon! You should not download it!

You should not download it!

Isn't it charging?

Let's see what songs she hears.

Sorry. It's locked. No?

How did you open it? It needs my fingerprint!

How did you open it?

- It was not locked, I guess. - No.

Fingerprint? I think it was not locked.

Isn't it like she tapped it within a few seconds.

First...

- Don't show it. - Isn't it too mean?

There are not many things.

We shouldn't show that.

- Amazing. - Why are you not proud of this?

- This is not right. - I guess she liked the song.

- She always nagged me for such things. - I didn't know.

Funny thing is songs on the playlist are different.

Your words didn't match actions.

- Really. - That's shocking.

You know, she always listens to only one song when taking a shower.

- Nayeon does it always! - I memorized a new song, thanks to her.

Momo... Momo...

- Momo changes songs after a minute. - Right.

I was reading a book.

I heard a song. I listened to it, focusing on it.

- And she changes it to another song, keep doing it. - When I hear the same song,

I want to change it, drying my hands.

- Really? I listen to one song if I like. - Right.

- I can't stand listening to one song. - OH MY GIRL's song is my favorite.

- Me, too. - Me, too. - Jihyo listens to it very often.

- I kept listening to it. - I like it so much.

And Seunghee...

Can I say this?

- What? - "Let's do Kkaeko". - I saw it! - Did you? - What's that?

- It's a North Korean children's song. - On "IDOL ROOM".

- It was so cute. - So cute. - Cute. - I want to see it.

I saw it.

So cute.

So cute!

Jeongyeon sent it to our group chat room.

- IT was so cute. - What about me? - Do you want to be cute to us? - Yes.

- To us? - Try it, "Kkaeko".

Oh, you like a ghost.

Here...

It was so cute. Seunghee is so cute.

Let's change the subject.

- Any questions? - Nope.

Shall we read the trending list?

- Are we still on? - I guess it's gone.

I don't know.

Please ask questions.

Popular songs...

Hey, we're not on the list.

But double eyelids are still on trending.

- It's on trending. - Amazing.

- TWICE! - What are you doing these days?

We performed on "Music Station".

We fell in love with green grapes.

- "Chaeyoung, when will you quit being cute?" - Green grapes.

- Green grapes. - Right, I planned

- Green grapes. - not to do anything cute.

Then, do something sexy.

I'm not sexy.

No.

Whose is this?

It's Sana's treasure.

- That's Sana's. - Whose is this?

- It's Sana's treasure. - Fans say their ears hurt.

Many fans ask to figure out what the problem is.

- Why? - Why is the sound quality so bad? - Let's try it.

We can't help.

- Fans say it's okay. - It's okay.

I think they should check their speakers.

I think there's something wrong with ONCE's phone.

- Earphones... - Right, strange.

What should we do with this?

Voice...

- Voice only. - What about this? - Do you like it?

- Hello. - ASMR. - What about this?

It's me, Chaeyoung.

- Is this still bad? - It's strange.

- It sounds weird. - Not good.

- Is it because of this phone? - This phone...

What's wrong with it?

- Turn it off and on? - We will turn it off and on again.

Yangrak "That's right. We're here to relax!" [Battle Trip/2018.09.16] - Duration: 12:11.

(Balu Tour, Yangrak's Day)

"Manukan Island."

Yes, let's eat something.

- Exactly. / - Southeast Asian noodles are great.

She likes noodles.

I saw her eat noodles for 3 meals a day.

I was shocked.

I want her to eat all the noodles she wants.

We can have 5 meals there. I'll let her eat a lot.

(10 minutes from Jesselton Point to the restaurant)

(Using a transportation app is cheaper than taxis)

Ta-da.

I already know it's good.

This restaurant has to be good.

Go inside.

(A restaurant popular amongst the locals)

One of the merits of Kota Kinabalu is that

people don't cook breakfast.

They all eat out.

- Like that... / - It's too hot in the morning.

So a lot of locals were at the restaurant.

Restaurants that locals eat at are really cheap.

(Open from 6:30 a.m. till 6 p.m. on weekdays)

(Till 4 p.m. on weekends)

Yangrak, when did you find this place?

Remember Hyeon?

Jeong Hyeon runs a travel agency.

When I said that you like noodles,

he said to come here.

- That's why we came here. / - Thank you.

Excuse me.

- Selamat pagi. / - Selamat pagi.

- Selamat pagi. / - Selamat pagi.

- It means good morning. / - This restaurant is very...

Food.

Very... Favorite...

I like very delicious... I want.

(Laughing)

- You said all the important words. / - Exactly.

(The waitress recommends these two)

You can have A1 and A2.

This is how you say, "Thank you." Tell her that now.

- Terima kashi. / - Terima kashi.

- She's nice. / - Terima kashi.

(How will the first meal of the Balu Tour taste?)

(Here are the most popular dishes)

- That looks good. / - It looks delicious.

The broth is rich but it's clean.

- It's clean. / - It's really good.

- It comes with meat. / - Ngau chap.

- That must be good. / - My mouth is watering now.

It tastes like the soup has lamb in it.

- I bet that one is tasty. / - Lamb.

- That's laksa. / - Laksa.

Laksa is famous.

- With cilantro... / - This is...

- And lemon. / - It looks good.

(The irresistible laksa with rice noodles)

It looks good.

People who don't like food with strong smells

won't like it, but you should still try it.

Once you get hooked on it, you'll keep eating this.

(Which noodle dish will Hyeonsuk like more?)

Gosh, it's here.

My goodness, that looks delicious.

Thank you.

(Mixed noodles and fish ball soup, $2.60)

(Stir-fried cabbage in oyster sauce, $1.80)

You should try these first.

Eat whatever you like the best.

Let me taste the broth first.

- Go ahead. / - Okay.

This is refreshing.

- Is it good? / - It's very refreshing.

It warms my stomach right away.

You can taste the spices in the aftertaste.

But I like the scent of spices.

This is the tripe. It's the beef tripe.

And this looks like the ox foot.

These are beef innards.

This is an invigorating dish.

It's like having soup with omasum.

They gave you a lot of meat.

- Yes. That one is... / - The portion was big.

- Knee cartilage. / - That's amazing.

To eat the knee cartilage in Korea,

it costs about $12 to $13.

But you can eat plenty there for $2.

I think this is spicy sauce.

It's spicy.

- You like spicy food. / - Okay.

Try it with the sauce.

How's the tripe? Isn't it good?

It's good.

Is it good?

Let me try the noodles.

(She has a big bite of the noodles)

This is like omasum in Korea, right?

What is this one?

It's firm.

It's tender too. It's not too chewy.

It's aromatic too.

This flavor is really unique.

It doesn't taste like soy sauce but it has that color.

(He's not listening to her)

- I can taste beef... / - To be honest, we went to...

That restaurant because she likes noodles.

- He was being considerate. / - I ate more than her.

- You're just eating without a word. / - Exactly.

Stop eating and tell me what you think.

It's good.

(It's just good)

I keep craving this.

(It's good, what more must I say?)

- See? / - My goodness.

- This restaurant is good. / - The texture is interesting.

Now, onto this one. Let's try this, Yangrak.

(A generous amount of chicken and shrimp)

- Gosh, that looks good. / - That must be delicious.

It's the best when you don't have an appetite.

Cheers.

- That's laksa, right? / - Yes, laksa.

This tastes like tom yum goong.

You know the Thai dish?

It tastes like that.

People who love that will like this.

- But some might not like it. / - No, no.

The smell isn't overpowering.

And the aftertaste is slightly sweet.

- Gosh, it looks appetizing. / - It's rich and flavorful.

- The broth... / - It has depth.

I love tom yum goong.

- My mouth is watering. / - Right, right.

You must really want to eat that now.

It was really good.

(Hyeonsuk keeps on eating)

I'm glad I didn't eat yesterday.

(They fill up their stomachs with noodles)

I think my mouth is at a crossroad.

I'm torn if I should keep eating.

- Don't be picky while traveling. / - You're right.

Everything gets mixed in our stomachs anyway.

- Smile. Smile now. / - Sure.

- That looks nice. / - You listen to your wife well.

- I like this more. / - Right?

Hyeonsuk likes this dish more.

- This is more to my taste. / - But I like this one more.

- I really like laksa. / - The broth is rich.

It feels like it recharges

the energy I used up through sweating.

I like this one more.

This would get rid of your hangover.

It might be because I like to drink but I like this more.

Isn't this great?

We came to a good restaurant.

How much is it?

Let me explain.

1 ringgit is 30 cents.

- Really? / - Yes.

- Then how much is it? / - The noodles we had...

This one costs 8.5 ringgits.

- If it's 8.5 ringgits... / - Let's say we round up.

If it's 8.5 ringgits, it's about $2.60.

- That's for 1 bowl? It's so cheap. / - It's $2.60.

The bill came out to 39.5 ringgits in total.

- Let's round up to 40. / - Make it 40.

- 4 times 3 is 12. It's $12. / - 4 times 3 is 12.

- But we ate a lot. / - That's for the whole meal.

- Only $12? / - It's very cheap here.

We ate a lot.

I think two glasses of draft beer

cost more than $12 in Sapporo.

- $12 won't be enough there. / - Right, probably not.

Everything was delicious.

Delicious.

Traveling can be a bit tiring.

That's why...

We'll get a massage that will get rid of our fatigue.

You should go to a spa after eating.

We ought to rest.

That's right. We're here to relax.

(Into the place where they can relax)

(Yangrak and Hyeonsuk will become Emperor Nero?)

- Oh, with salt. / - Salt.

Why are you filming this?

(Step 2, the whole body massage)

(Yangrak's gift is a chance for them to relax)

(It takes 15 minutes to this luxurious spa shop)

(It's located within a 5-star resort)

- The atmosphere is different. / - My gosh.

It looks very clean and nice here.

- I thought you'd like it. / - Thank you.

I was glad I've lived with him for 30 years.

I have a reservation under Choi.

(He made a reservation in advance)

My husband is very handsome.

- Thank you. / - You speak good English too.

- No, this is nothing. / - My gosh.

- Where did you learn English? / - How are you?

You went to a high-end shop.

- It was facing the beach. / - Right.

The view is great too.

- This shop was quite expensive. / - It's expensive.

But to get a massage as luxurious as that in Korea...

- It's expensive. / - It's 3 or 4 times more expensive.

- Honey, get rid of your fatigue. / - Thank you.

- Thank you. / - You're welcome.

This will relieve all the stress that's been piling up.

- This is the foot massage. / - The foot massage.

Our health starts from our feet.

Gosh, this is nice.

This is my first foot massage ever.

Oh, my. I'm getting a special treatment.

The important agenda is to celebrate our anniversary.

I don't need to think about anything but...

Even if it's only for a few days,

I want her to forget about her busy life here

and spend a nice time there while we admire

the beautiful scenery and eat delicious food.

Away from work and all.

- How is it? / - It's good.

This is a good trip.

I really do feel like a king here.

- I played Emperor Nero long ago. / - Emperor Nero.

- Oh, dear, Lord! / - His costume did look similar.

Clean my feet, massage them,

and get rid of the fatigue.

(Hyeonsuk plays along right away)

And get rid of the fatigue.

(They are a perfect match)

I knew it.

Because I'm married to Emperor Nero,

I'm living in luxury.

- Thank you. / - You're welcome.

(Time flies by for them)

Time is flying by.

- It's going by so fast. / - Right.

Let this last for a long time. I wish it'd last forever.

My back hurts.

This is a high-end spa shop.

- This is a fancy place. / - You bet.

This is for our 30th anniversary.

I can't skimp out on the spa.

- That's right. / - I can't.

This place was the most expensive on our itinerary.

- They gave us tea there. / - It's our 30th anniversary.

We ought to be fancy for a day.

- Of course, you should be. / - That's what I think.

If my husband does that for me,

I would tell him that I love him right away.

That's true.

We've never done this before we got married.

It's our 1st time in 30 years.

I won't be able to forget our trip to Kota Kinabalu.

(Balu Tour, Yangrak's Day)

(Kokol Poring-Poring Road)

(45 minutes by car to Kokol Poring-Poring Road)

Kokol Poring-Poring Road.

- It was really nice. / - It takes some time to get there.

But it's worth the time.

(They arrive at their last destination)

- This was a long trip. / - You know how great places...

Aren't accessible.

The altitude here is over 800m.

It is.

When the sun completely sets,

we can see the night view.

I heard that the view is indeed fantastic and splendid.

The name of this area is called Kokol...

It's not Podong-Podong. It's Kokol...

- My gosh, look at that. / - It's Poring-Poring.

Isn't the name pretty too?

(You can enjoy the sunset and the city lights)

- Poring-Poring. / - My gosh.

Is this a resort?

It's at a high altitude.

A lot of couples go there...

- I didn't know this existed. / - For dates.

My friend told me about this place.

He recommended I go...

- And said it's not well known. / - To put it simply...

The locals go there for dates.

I can assure you.

Koreans don't know this place.

Are we the first ones?

How did you find this place?

My friend, Jeong Hyeon, told me.

He told me that...

It'd be great if I took you here.

(The restaurant was recommended by him)

(The island was recommended by him)

You should take him a photo.

(Even the spa was recommended by his friend)

I definitely got a lot of tips from my friend.

I'll treat him to a meal.

Thank you, Hyeon.

Are you doing okay?

Shouldn't we invite him?

I'm getting curious.

- He's mentioned a lot. / - It's like he's with you.

I prepared today's itinerary for you.

I bet you'll remember this for a long time.

Especially this view.

Thank you.

- You're the best. / - So many couples were there.

- Gosh, your belly... / - Yes?

- Doesn't this feel dependable? / - Yes, it's chubby.

Poring-Poring.

I mean...

Gosh, it's beautiful.

Not that many tourists know this place.

- It's a very useful tip. / - How pretty.

(The evening glow falls asleep)

(And the city lights wake up)

What do you think about my itinerary?

Let's explore Gaya street(Sunday Market)! [Battle Trip/2018.09.16] - Duration: 12:27.

(9 a.m., the final day)

The weather is so nice today.

- Yangrak. / - It's good.

Today is my day. Paeng Hyeonsuk's Day.

Sunday Market is the romance of married women.

- That's a must. / - Indeed.

I think men get scared whenever women say

they'll go shopping.

Since most men don't like shopping,

a lot of women tell their husbands to stay at a hotel.

I don't think that's the case for Hyungkyu.

I love shopping.

He looks like he loves shopping.

Shopping is a way to expand myself.

He likes on-sale items.

- I love them. / - When it says, "On sale..."

- He has to go in that store. / - Right.

- It closes down... / - I wanted to sleep in.

At noon, but they have so many sales.

You can go shopping in Korea.

- Why would you do it here? / - I mean...

Buying local items and giving them

to our acquaintances as gifts is exotic.

- Now what? / - Smile!

That's right.

- Then... / - Stop. Smile.

If you look up close, Yangrak has wrinkles

in the middle of his forehead.

It means he doesn't like the idea.

But I really hope he smiles

instead of showing me those wrinkles.

(Will he stay as the smiley husband today?)

Film a video of me opening the door.

- Do it already. / - I filmed it.

Smile.

(An obedient smiling angel)

- Satisfied? / - Good.

- Hello, good morning. / - Good morning.

Please... Sunday Market.

Okay.

See? There aren't many people on the streets.

They must be resting since it's Sunday.

It's great to wake up

and start our day earlier

when others are sleeping in.

Middle-aged couples go around markets together

with a shopping basket.

I'm so envious of that.

Whenever I go grocery shopping,

you never accompany me.

You're not a top star anymore.

You've become ordinary now.

How could you say that?

- Goodness. / - I'm sorry.

Isn't it time you get used to the life now?

I'm still popular.

People live to 100 now, so things will work out.

We're on our way to Sunday Market...

- In a taxi right now. / - Right.

I'm curious what they'll have.

(The traditional market on Gaya Street)

Is it open only on Sundays?

That's why it's called Sunday Market.

There must be meat.

Goodness, they have everything.

(Sunday Market sells all kinds of items)

So many people are here to shop.

- I know. / - It's packed.

How lively.

This must be the start of the market.

- It's the entrance. / - Hello, hi.

Good morning.

Good morning.

Good morning. Hi. Very beautiful.

- Thank you. / - Very nice.

Good morning. Hi.

What's this?

(Yangrak is showing off his wrinkles)

He's tired already.

Yangrak, come quick.

(He lost his smile after 10 minutes)

They're selling herbal medicine.

Let's have some fruit juice.

(A popular store in the Sunday Market)

Gosh, look at those fruits.

- What's that? / - Goodness.

- That was so good. / - It's amazing.

- I love that. / - Isn't that watermelon?

She's making juice.

- Right on the spot. / - I know.

They blend fruits right on the spot.

They make watermelon juice like that since it's hot.

They grind it on the spot like that?

- You don't need a cup. / - She grinds the inside of it.

I'm going to try and make one at home.

How much is it?

- 10. / - 10 ringgit?

- It's only $3? / - That whole watermelon?

- $3? / - It's $6 for 2.

- It's refreshing and nice. / - We're indeed...

- A generous couple. / - Gosh.

- A watermelon each. / - A whole watermelon each.

- It's not a piece of it. / - You're right.

It tastes like Korean watermelons

but I think it's sweeter.

It's perfect to take pictures too.

I want to buy one of them.

- Buy it. / - They ward off misfortune.

That's nonsense. It's only a superstition.

- Go ahead. / - I think we have a lot of...

- Bad luck in our house. Come on. / - Go buy it.

(His wrinkles start to appear again)

- Hello. / - He's getting more and more...

How much?

1 for 10 ringgit, 2 for 15.

- One, ten. / - Two, fifteen.

Two, two.

(She hands her 5 ringgit)

- That's not right. / - What?

Just multiply it by 3. 10 ringgit is $3.

- Remember 10 ringgit is worth... / - It's worth $3.

- Right, it's worth $3. / - Okay.

I'm confused because it's not Korea.

It's sickening.

Let's split up for an hour and meet over there.

- Don't be late. / - Let's meet after an hour.

Okay. Stand and wait here.

Why do you want me to stand and wait here?

Stay there. I'll be right back.

Let's go.

Hello.

In the end, they part ways.

He shouldn't disappear like that.

- Hello. / - I like hand-crafted items.

I should buy some souvenirs.

You can buy those in Korea but it's too expensive.

- Right. / - These look...

Refreshing and nice.

This and these.

How much?

- I want a discount. / - Okay.

- Discount, okay? / - Okay.

- How much is it? / - So 55.

55.

- You dropped it to 55? / - A little more.

(This time, she's after a bag)

Discount?

25.

I want more discount.

- A little... / - How much do you want?

How much? 20.

20 for this. And this one...

One more.

(Meanwhile, Yangrak heads somewhere)

(Gosh, it's hot)

(He wanders around to find a place to avoid the heat)

(He can tell it's a shelter for exhausted men)

Look at them all.

There are a lot of men.

Here's what I read about the stress rankings for men.

They're most stressed out when they have lost

their country or family.

5th on that list is shopping.

- It's that stressful? / - I didn't know that.

(He enjoys his time alone for a while)

Isn't he lying directly under the sunlight?

He looks so much brighter now though.

The wind was blowing gently.

(He rests for a moment like that)

- Lemon? / - Yes.

Lemon juice.

(He orders iced lemon tea and iced chocolate)

(He chooses to drink the lemon tea)

(How refreshing)

(He returns to the rest area with the beverages)

I found him. He's over there.

Yangrak.

Choi Yangrak.

(Is she already finished?)

- Are you finished? / - I'm done.

- Give it to me. / - Here you are.

- I want that one. / - This is for me.

This is for me. Yours is chocolate.

But I like that one.

- I thought you'd like chocolate. / - No, I like this one.

You came earlier than I thought.

- Have a seat here. / - It's too sunny there.

- Why do you want me to sit there? / - It's not sunny.

It's so hot.

My legs hurt. I'll just sit here like this.

- Why don't you just sit here? / - It's cooler here.

It's delicious.

What did you buy?

I bought three bags.

One is for Hana, and one is for the manager.

- I bought a hat and... / - She bought a lot of things.

Even if you buy a lot of things,

it's not expensive there.

- This can contain things. / - So, how much is this?

- Let me see. / - 55 ringgit.

- What a bargain. / - They are so pretty.

- These are tea coasters. / - You can play Pogs.

These are tea coasters.

(What are you doing?)

They're tea coasters.

Let's go. That was a nice shopping.

I bought things at a reasonable price.

Thank you.

(Summer health food, bak-kut-teh)

- Bak-kut-teh? / - Bak-kut-teh.

- Bak-kut-teh. / - It's health food.

- Health food. / - I wonder what it is like.

It's cooked with pork ribs.

That's right.

It looks delicious.

It looks very delicious.

It's simmered with medicinal herbs

so it gets rid of the odor from the pork.

They cook pork and get rid of the odor

and they cook the broth separately.

The meat and the broth are served together,

and that's bak-kut-teh.

As you know, we've been sweating a lot.

There's a saying, "Fight fire with fire."

We should recharge our body with the hot broth

when we sweat a lot.

Main menu and side menu.

- This one. This one. / - Okay. Okay.

- What is this? / - That looks delicious.

That's a fried dish. It's dry bak-kut-teh.

So there are different kinds.

- How about we order rice? / - Shall we order rice?

Two rice, please.

- Rice. / - Two bowls of rice cost 90 cents?

It's already ready.

(Boiling bak-kut-teh shows up)

It smells like medicinal herbs.

It looks like short rib soup.

- Here's a rib. / - It does look like short rib soup.

It's like short rib soup with pork belly in it.

There is pork in it.

- The grease is well-drained. / - It's pork belly.

The grease is all drained out.

How does the broth taste?

It tastes so good.

It has a clean aftertaste. It's rich like short rib soup.

- There are spices in it. / - Yes.

It tastes unique.

It's probably because of the medicinal herbs.

The pork doesn't smell at all.

Let me try one piece too.

We have to eat off the bone.

(They hold the ribs and pick the meat off the bones)

It's tasty. It's well-cooked.

It's chewy but soft when I swallow it.

I'm sure Koreans would love this dish.

You have to eat ribs with your hands.

It's delicious.

It's so good.

(She keeps eating)

After eating the meat, you can eat rice with the broth.

It will be very filling.

- It's tasty. / - I suddenly feel...

15 years younger.

I wish we could actually be younger.

(Dry bak-kut-teh braised in black sauce)

(Dry bak-kut-teh, $3.90)

(How does dry bak-kut-teh taste?)

How does it taste?

This is really good.

It tastes like black bean noodles

cooked with pork instead of noodles.

- You're right. / - It looks delicious.

The sauce looks so good.

This is very delicious too.

It tastes familiar but there's meat instead of noodles.

The sauce is spicy. It should go well with rice.

Let's eat it with rice.

- It must be good with plain rice. / - It looks so good.

Take a spoonful of rice...

And put a piece of meat on it.

It's like black bean rice.

(Cheers)

(They put the food in their mouths)

It's tasty.

(It gives me power!)

Try this too.

This is what you call health food.

(He takes a piece of meat)

It's very well-cooked.

(The meat tastes amazing with plain rice)

It's well-cooked, yet it's firm.

(Yangrak loves the Malaysian health food)

Is it a bit spicy?

- It's spicy because of the chili. / - It looks delicious.

Yangrak becomes silent when he likes the food.

He just focuses on eating the food.

I'm from Chungcheong-do.

People from Chungcheong-do

don't comment right away.

Sometimes I comment on the food the next day.

- The night after. / - "Lunch yesterday was good."

I talk like that.

(Yangrak is fully charged)

Ariel: Oh my gosh! We really hate our parents so much! They keep grounding us for too many stupid reasons!

What should we do to get revenge?

Geraint: Hey Ariel, I got a great idea for revenge! How about we just get our parents arrested!

Why that's a good idea Garant! But how will we do that?

Geraint: How about we just litter something onto the ground, like a soda bottle, then when our parents walk by, they will find out a soda bottle sitting on the ground.

& then the police will come by & think that they littered a soda bottle, arrest them, & get them sent to jail!

(Geraint Laughs)

Geraint: Are you up to this Ariel?

Ariel: Yes! & the good thing thing is, I have an empty soda bottle with me! So this is our chance to get our parents arrested! So let's drop it onto the ground!

Geraint: Oh no! Ariel, our parents are coming this way! We need to run and hide from them right now! Come on!

Paulo: Oh my gosh! There is an empty soda bottle laying on the ground! We need to run and get out of here right now!

The police are way too strict in to people littering in these days!

(Police car comes by & stops w/ Siren)

(Policeman walks out of the Police car)

Policeman: You 2 are under arrest for littering a soda bottle! You know littering is against the law as it always messes up the city!

Kimberose: But officer, we didn't do this! I swear, me & Paulo were just walking & then we stumbled upon a soda bottle, that was just sitting there on the ground!

Policeman: I have not gotten any time to listen to both of your bullcraps! Now both of you get in my freaking Police car right now!

(Policeman, Paulo, & Kimberose walk into the Police car)

(Police Car moves forward w/ Siren)

~~ In Jail... ~

Policeman: This is the cell, where both of you will stay in, for a really (x3) long (x4) time! See ya dummies!

Kimberose: No... this can't be! I can't believe we got arrested for no reason! That soda bottle was just sitting there, littered on the ground, & it's not our fault!

We really didn't do this!

Paulo, do you have any clues of who could have done this?

Paulo: I don't know.

Wait a minute! I bet it was Ariel and Geraint! That's it! When we escape from jail, they're going to be sooooooooooooooooo grounded big time!

There a way to break out of the cell?

Kimberose: Yeah, guess what? That door cell is not locked properly, so we can knock down the bars and the door cell!

So we can easily escape from this cell! So let's make a run for it!

(Kimberose walks upon the iron bars & the door cell)

(Kimberose knocks down the door cell & the iron bars)

(Wreck sound effect/door cell & the iron bars get destroyed & knocked over)

(Kimberose & Paulo run out of the Jail cell)

~~ At Home... ~~

Paulo: Ariel & Geraint! How dare you 2 got us arrested! That's it! You 2 are grounded (x8)

until the Adobe Flash Player gets discontinued, which should be never since we like the Flash Player so much!

Kimberose: Now get your butts upstairs to your rooms right now!!

(Ariel & Geraint crying running into their rooms)

A Brief History Computer Animation: 1983-1995 - Duration: 8:26.

Over the next few months we are going to be producing a series of videos on the history

of computer animation. In the last video we saw the ways early innovators used computers

for expression and how Hollywood first embraced computer generated special effects. In this

video we will step away from the abstract towards the adorable and the terrifying as

advancements in technology make fully computer-animated narratives a reality.

Since the 1920s, animation had been largely defined by American cartoons.

Many of the characters featured in these films became beloved pieces of pop culture, with some even eclipsing

their creators, becoming part of the national identity.

With the technological limitations of early computing, artists could not render anthropomorphic figures,

instead relying on abstract imagery.

By the early 1980s, graphic interfaces had advanced to the point where humans and computers could

collaborate with relative ease.

In 1984, Eddie Garrick produced The Magic Egg: A Computer Odyssey.

Intended for IMAX, The Magic Egg has been described as "a computer-graphics

Fantasia." It was an audio/visual experience created entirely on computer, featuring synthesizers

and animation commissioned from artists and research labs. Contributors included John

Whitney, who we discussed at length in part one, as well as the Computer Graphics Lab

at the New York Institute of Technology. At the time, NYIT was the top computer animation

research facility in the world. It had been founded with the purpose of not only simplifying

the animation process but of taking the medium in new directions.

In 1979, the lab began production on what it hoped would be the first ever fully computer animated narrative

film, titled The Works.

Written by researcher Lance Williams, The Works was to be a futuristic

sci-fi story following a charming robot and a pilot in their battle with a super computer

who has taken over Earth. The project progressed slowly. The staff at NYIT were constantly

developing new technology in order to keep up with their vision and resources were diverted

to commercial projects to fund the ambitious film. Despite having the most powerful computers

available, it still would have taken seven years to generate enough images needed for

the planned 90 minute run-time. In total, 10 minutes of footage and designs were produced

before The Works was abandoned in 1986.

NYIT's goal of creating the first computer animated

narrative would be eventually be achieved in Montreal, Quebec by a group of professors

at the University of Montreal. Nadia Magnenat Thalmann, Philippe Bergeron and Daniel Thalmann

had been experimenting with 3D modelling, specifically 3D character modelling. In 1982,

they produced the 8 minute short, Dream Flight. This featured an alien dreaming of flying

through space and arriving on Earth, exploring the natural world as well as Paris and New York

Bergeron would collaborate with Pierre Lachapelle, Daniel Langlois and Pierre Robidoux

for the landmark short Tony de Peltrie. Finished in 1985, Tony de Peltrie tells the story of

a faded piano player recalling his past glory. Tony was the first computer-animated human

to convey emotion through facial expressions and mannerisms. While he very much falls into

the uncanny valley, we as an audience are still able to feel his melancholy and his joy.

In 1987, Nadia and Daniel produced Rendezvous In Montreal, in which Humphrey Bogart and

Marilyn Monroe agree to come back from the dead, meeting at a Montreal cafe. This marked

the first time a deceased actor's likeness had been digitally reproduced, an effect accomplished

by mapping out polygons on sculptures of the actors and creating a 3D model. While I think

the plot of this film is absurd, the concepts it introduces are terrifying. The idea that

actors, or anyone for that matter, could emulated on film or video posthumously, or not even,

brings up all sorts of legal and ethical questions but more on that in the next video.

Montreal was on fire during the '80s, not only with incredible creative output but also technological

innovation. Every one of these films feels years ahead of its time, each in a different

way, but one of the most influential developments came from Tony de Peltrie co-director Daniel

Langlois. In 1986, he founded the company Softimage and began working on a program that

would allow artists to model, animate and render 3D images specifically for animation.

The result, Softimage3D, became the industry standard and was used not only to create fully

3D environments, but also video game graphics as well as special effects. It was adopted

by George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic, who had revolutionized CGI in the late 1970s.

In 1979, Lucas had poached the top talent in the field of computer graphics to establish

a department within ILM dedicated to creating computer generated effects. The Graphics Group,

as it was known, was headed by Edwin Catmull. As we covered in the last video, Catmull had

been on the forefront of computer animation throughout the 1970s. He had been working

at NYIT and on The Works when he was approached by Lucas, and along with Alvy Ray Smith, had

made several breakthroughs there, most notably, alpha compositing. When it was clear The Works

was in trouble, Smith jumped ship and joined Catmull at ILM. Their first project here was

the Genesis sequence in Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan.

Both Catmull and Smith came from a science background. I'm sure they were aware that

while technical issues had ultimately doomed The Works, it also suffered from the fact it was

being produced by researchers, rather than filmmakers.

In December of 1983, Catmull brought on animator John Lasseter,

who had recently been fired from Disney, to assist them in creating their first computer

animated narrative. Now while we are going to be addressing the accomplishments of John

Lasseter, I feel it's worth mentioning that in November 2017, he faced allegations of

sexual misconduct towards employees. As we are living in a time where more and more media

is tainted by this sort of behaviour, I think it's important to note that film and animation

are collaborative art forms and his contribution and success would not have been possible without

the work of many talented individuals. Like Alvy Ray Smith, who in 1984 conceived and

directed The Adventures of André & Wally B. It is the simple story of a pestering bee

but it's execution pushed the boundaries of what computer animation was capable of.

It was revolutionary in its use of motion effects and 3D backgrounds, a look towards

the future of animation very much rooted in the tradition of classic American cartoons.

The short was a hit and in 1986, The Graphics Group renamed themselves Pixar, breaking away

from Lucasfilm with funding from Apple founder Steve Jobs. Under Jobs, they would release

a commercial version of their hardware system known as the Pixar Image Computer. Over the

next few years they produced a series of animated shorts intended to promote the Image Computer's

capabilities. Though powerful, it would sell less than 300 units before the hardware department

was sold off in 1990. However, one client who was very pleased with their purchase of

an Image Computer was The Walt Disney Company. Their Feature Animation department utilized

the hardware for its Computer Animation Production System, or CAPS, which allowed hand-drawn

animation to be digitally inked and coloured. 1990's The Rescuers Down Under was the first

Disney feature to be entirely produced with this process, followed by Beauty and The Beast

in 1991. Beauty and The Beast also made use of CAPS ability to blend hand-drawn and computer

animation. The film's famous ballroom scene finds Belle and Beast dancing through a 3D-environment.

Disney executives were impressed with this sequence and decided to invest more resources

into computer animation. Despite the financial struggle caused by the poor sales of the Image

Computer, Steve Jobs agreed to finance Pixar's Tin Toy. The short was intended to showcase

their Renderman software, which allowed photorealistic 3D rendering, and featured a baby interacting

with a musical toy. The film ended up winning the Oscar for Best Animated Short, the first

computer-animated film to do so, and garnered attention from Disney. Disney approached Pixar

with the possibility of producing a feature-length computer-animated narrative, which had long

been a goal of Catmull and Smith. After tense negotiations, they agreed to produce a film

based off Tin Toy, entitled Toy Story. The plot and characters went through many changes,

with the original version being so dark and mean-spirited that the production was even

temporarily shut down. Production was restarted in February 1994, now with the story of two

toys vying for the attention of their owner. The film featured the voice talents of Tom

Hanks and Tim Allen as pull-string cowboy Woody and astronaut Buzz Lightyear, who throughout

the film go from rivals to the best of friends. Each shot passed through eight different animation

teams before going into a render farm of 117 computers running 24 hours a day. It took

anywhere between 45 minutes and 30 hours to render a frame, translating to about three

minutes of finished animation per week. The film was released on November 22, 1995 to

universal praise. For all involved, Toy Story was a dream realized. It was a technical marvel

and ushered in a new era of animation. During this period computer animation became more

and more integrated into filmmaking with Toy Story representing the pinnacle of decades

worth of work and innovation. Its success opened the floodgates and the possibilities

now seemed endless.

Google Slides for Trimming YouTube - Duration: 2:13.

Hi. This is John. I'm going to take a look at how you can use Google Slides as a way

to edit videos in YouTube a little bit. One of the options in Google Slides is

to insert a video. So I'm going to into Insert ->Video and I'm going to select

a video that I want to add to that slide. So, I've got. You can just paste it here.

You can do a search if you want to. I've already pasted in the address for some

highlights from the Brewer's game over the weekend. I'm going to select that video. It's

going to drop it into the Google Slides. I can adjust the size on it any way I

want to. But the cool part about adding a video into Slides is that I can actually

go into Format -> Format Options for that video and what it's going to allow me to do is

adjust when I start the video and when I end it. If you only want to show a

small clip of it and you don't want to show the whole thing, that's often

difficult to do in YouTube and sometimes you don't want the whole thing and

you don't want to have to pre-load everything, especially if you have

multiple classes. So this is kind of a good way to just get the clip you want

and basically save the start and end point to it. When I'm done, I just click

out of it. And then when I go to Present it, the

video is going to show because I adjusted it to that size, it's gone

basically full-screen for me. And when I click to play, it's going to start at

2:25, which is the at-bat for his second home run, and it would play until 3:29 which

would be the end of the call. So I click on Play. (Announcer: Led 5-3 at one point and there's Yelich deep to right and this one is GONE!!! (Fans cheering) Christian Yelich has done it again. Background noise from video)

If you notice on the bottom, you can see that (Fireworks from highlights) there, ah, it wasn't going to play the entire

video, so it would jump it ahead a little bit, and go right to the

end point which I set to be at 3:29. (Fans still cheering) I'll stop the video here and exit it but

using Google Slides is a way to trim a video is kind of a neat little

trick so. Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
