Waching daily Nov 2 2018

We the Internet TV is nonpartisan.

We're not Democrats. We're not Republicans.

What we are are concerned citizens.

And with the midterm elections coming up, we are concerned s**tless.

Currently, the Republicans control all three branches of the federal government.

That's not a good thing because one-party rule

throws off the necessary checks and balances we need to keep government in line.

That means Democrats, you need to step up and start bringing voters over to your side.

That's why I'm here, to give you donkeys some Do's and Don'ts to make that happen.

Actually, all I have are Don'ts.

Yeah, you guys got to stop with some of this bulls**t.

[WATERS] If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station,

you get out and you create a crowd!

[LOU] Maxine Waters, Eric Holder, even Hillary Clinton have called for it,

but Dems incivility is not a good strategy.

As Hillary tweeted, person-to-person conversations are the most effective way to turn people out to vote.

So knock on doors and recruit some friends to join you and make an afternoon of it.

Sure that, sounds great!

Unless you're recruiting those friends to go yell at Ted Cruz or Tucker Carlson in a restaurant.

[CROWD] (chanting) We believe survivors!

Sure you may ruin Ted's or Tucker's meal, but look around you.

You're ruining everyone's meal.

Customers, wait staff, owners -- all potential voters --

who you inadvertently treated like the Ted Cruz's and Tucker Carlson's of the world.

When those regular folks are in the voting booth,

the last thing you want them remembering is that swarm of bitter a-holes who swooped in

just when I was about to enjoy my flan.

Who's their guy? I'm voting against that guy.

And don't think just because you skipped the restaurant,

you can confront Republicans where they sleep.

Don't be a creep. Haunt Republican nightmares, not bedrooms.

You got to stop alienating the exhausted majority.

Who are they? They're the two-thirds of Americans who don't belong to either

the 25% who are traditional or devoted conservatives

or the 8% of Americans who are progressive activists.

The exhausted majority are really tired with our polarized national conversation.

They have a willingness to be flexible in their political viewpoints,

and a lack of voice in the national conversation.

They're not fans of political correctness either.

And no, they're not carrying tiki torches, okay?

They're normal people.

And a video like this one probably isn't gonna bring them over to your side.

[PSA] Dear young people. Don't vote.

Don't vote! Everything's fine the way it is.

Trump. That was us. He's our guy.

[LOU] I know the whole reverse psychology thing is meant to get people to vote against Trump and his party,

but all I got from this video was,

wow, apparently the only people who get old in this country are white.

And everything is their fault. We need to change that.

Ironically, if you want to change that, you got to stop playing identity politics.

And stop talking s**t about my mom.

Yeah, stop talking s**t about my old white mom.

All right, that sounded weird...

It's not like I have a young white mom, too. Or any other mom...

I only have one mom. She's white. She's old and white, okay?

Whatever. You guys are being major dicks to her.

I mean look at these articles!

As Bridget Phetasy, a white woman, writes in Tablet Magazine,

"Modern feminism demands I live in a constant state of feeling like a victim,

but if I'm white, I need to simultaneously accept that I'm never going to be victim enough,

and in fact, I'm actually an oppressor.

It's mind-bending and bananas and I won't do it."

Phetasy is not alone.

As Kyle Smith puts it, "The left will have only itself to blame

if white women increasingly feel put off by its nasty 'ad feminam' attacks."

I don't know how my mom feels about all this.

I don't know how she's voting. We don't talk politics.

Is it because she didn't breastfeed me? Of course not!

Okay, maybe it is, it doesn't matter.

Because in the end, all that matters is that she's my old white mama and I love her.

So if you're coming down on my old white mama,

then you might as well be heckling me out of a restaurant along with Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson.

So there you have it, Dems.

Follow this advice and who knows!?

Instead of just restoring checks and balances,

we may see a shift of power so great

that we'll have to do one of these videos for Republicans.

So what else can Democrats do to win over voters?

Let us know in the comments.

Overwintering Bananas - Is It Possible In Cold Climates? - Duration: 10:29.

Wow temperatures have really plummeted this week. Take last night for example, we

had temperatures of minus 1 degrees Celsius or 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Now, our bananas have done fantastic this summer but it's now time that we need to

think about winterizing our bananas. Now there's loads of different methods for

overwintering bananas, but in this episode we are going to look at a few of

those and what I am going to do to try and overwinter my banana. And that's all

coming up after this. I'm Tony O'Neill and this is UK Here We Grow. On this channel we

deal with all things gardening, poultry keeping and beekeeping. If it's your

first time here consider hitting that subscribe button and Bell icon to be

notified each time we put up new content just like this. There are many cultivars

of banana and they all have different growing conditions, some are more hardy

like the Musa Basjoo and then others like this Dwarf Cavendish behind me are

not so hardy. Now, I set myself a massive challenge this year, and I wanted to see

whether I could grow an edible fruit on a banana in the UK without any extra

heat. That, is destined to fail. However, we now need to see if we can winterize

this banana because if we can get it through we are in with a chance.

Most of the UK falls into three growing zones which is 7 8 and 9. Now, it's

really important to select the right plant for your growing conditions and

bananas here because we are in zone 8 mostly, around this area, then bananas

don't do well because that means that we have really cold

minus temperatures and frost for long periods at a time. So, with that in mind

selecting the right plant is really important. Now the very hardy Musa Basjoo

would do really well in this climate, because it can get down to minus ten and

it's rare that we go below that for long periods at a time. The hardy Musa Basjoo

is the most cold tolerant banana plant there is. This plant can get down to

minus ten degrees Fahrenheit as long as it's properly mulched. It can also be grown

in all 50 states of the USA and the UK. However, this plant is an ornamental

plant and it although will give you the tropical feel in a garden, it will not

produce edible fruits. This plant can also grow up to five meters tall which

would take it around ten years. So although there are banana plants out

there that can deal with cold climates and the previous is ideal for tropical

gardens and things like that in the UK. If we want edible fruits, then we have to

pick a different cultivar. And I chose the Dwarf Cavendish for this, and a

couple of reasons for that. The first is because the weather in the

UK here we get very mild and short summers, and with that in mind I needed a

plant that had the potential to fruit relatively quickly. But also because we

have really cold winters I needed a plant I could grow inside, to

protect it from the worst of the weather. So these plants are quite fussy when it

comes to their care, and although the leaves are large and grow relatively

quickly, they are very weak and susceptible to frost damage. As you can

see we had a frost last night and it's gone. All the leaves are dead,

including a brand new when that's coming through up here.

I wouldn't even suggest trying to keep this in a cold room, through the winter

because you will find that you will wake up one morning to a mushy mess. But

against all odds I'm going to try and get this through

in a polytunnel, through the winter. And I'm going to show you how I'm going to

attempt that. Now I am pretty much writing the fate off to this plant based

on some ideas and I'm hoping that I can prevent frost from getting to it. I'm

hoping that we can keep this stalk but I can't see it happening. Everything inside

me is screaming dig it up and take it home. But when I set out to get this

plant growing I said that I wanted to see if it's possible to keep it in a poly

tunnel all year round. And that's what we're gonna do. Now I have taken some

small cuttings that were also frost damaged and we took some earlier in the

year as backups and they will be taken home so that we will still have a plan

to replace this one if it does go completely. I'm going to do some extreme

measures here today and try and prevent that from happening though. The first thing I'm

doing here is raising the base. The plant was originally planted on a mound of

soil and I found this year that had to dig out the edges of the soil to stop

the water from overflowing during watering.

By raising the sides I can add a layer of organic matter, this will stop the

overflowing and will also add additional insulation to the basal plate and roots.

We can now backfill this section being careful not to take the soil level too

high to prevent rotting off. Next we can cut the leaves of the plant and use

these as a mulch on the ground around the base of the plant.

And if you haven't seen how much it has grown over the last few months I will

add a link in the cards and description.

It's such a shame as this plant was looking awesome a few days ago. This will

leave us with just a stem, I would really like to get this through the winter if

possible as it will really give the plant a great start next season. I'm

going to wrap the stem with fleece to start, this will not be tightly wrapped

but will have quite a few layers.

Next a frame is built so that we can wrap the plant in bubble wrap.

And as I wrap the frame I fill it with straw in order to create an insulation

layer. Keep doing this right to the top and seal it off with a cap.

So here we have it folks, the banana is now insulated. Think of it as you going

out in the cold. The more layers of clothes you have on the more warm air is

trapped in between each layer and the warmer you are, and that's exactly the

same thing I've done here. We had that layer of fleece around the actual stalk

itself, then we've got a real big thick layer of hay and straw. And then around

that we have a nice big layer of bubble wrap. Now, the only thing I need to do is

put a topping over the top of bubble wrap and all I'm going to do for that is

just fold up some bubble wrap and stick it on top of all this straw. Hopefully,

that will produce enough warmth within there to protect the stalk itself, but if

it doesn't this should be more than enough insulation to protect the basal

plate and and root system and maybe it can throw a new one next year if it does

rot. So there's just a couple of other things that we might want to consider

here. And the first of those is watering through winter. We don't want to be

watering this through winter. Now that those leaves are died off this plant is

going to go dormant, and if we water that's going to be sat around those root

system and that plant is not going to take it up, and it's going to cause the

root system to rot off. So we're gonna leave it completely dry through the

winter and we'll start watering it again early spring. And another thing that we

may want to consider as well is that we'll want to shade this over if we have

a warm winter's day. Because that's an in a polytunnel is amplified through

all of these plastics and it could heat this area up and if it does that then it

might spurt that plant into growing again, which we want to avoid we want to

keep it dormant. Question of the day. Would you do anything different to what

I have? other than digging it up and taking it home. Put your answers in the

comment section below, so that we can all learn from each other.

I'm Tony O'Neill this is UK Here We Grow and remember

folks you Reap What You Sow. I will see you in the next one. bye, bye.

JBugs - 1971 VW Super Beetle - Engine Build Series - Top End Assembly - Duration: 7:38.

Hi! Sam here with JBugs.com

We're almost done with our 1800cc engine build.

In our first few videos, we assembled a 74mm stroker crank with I-beam connecting rods.

We completed the short block and set up our case for a full flow oil system.

We also CC'd our cylinder heads, calculated our compression ratio

and set up the rocker geometry for our high lift rockers.

Now, we'll begin at our bench

where all the pistons, cylinders, wrist pins, clips, and rings will be cleaned and prepped for assembly.

The piston rings are re-installed on the pistons.

Starting with the expander ring, this goes into the bottom groove with the painted marks lined up, not overlapped.

The upper and lower oil rings are installed above and below the expander;

followed by the lower compression ring, which has a notch at the lower outer edge.

Finally, the upper compression ring, which has a slanted upper inner edge.

We lube the pistons and rings with lightweight oil and index the piston rings.

Note the arrow on the piston points to the flywheel.

We line up the oil rings at the top of the cylinder,

the middle and the top compression rings

at offset points, just above horizontal on the piston.

A piston ring compressor is set around the piston and held in place tightly

while a lubed cylinder is set in place above the piston and tapped down

until the cylinder is just passed the bottom rings.

Again, note the cylinder and piston that you're working on and make sure to align the cylinder properly

with the arrow on the piston pointing towards the flywheel.

The piston and cylinder are flipped over and the piston is pulled out of the cylinder just enough to clear the wrist pin.

Aviation sealant is brushed around the bottom sealing edge of the cylinder, where it will meet the case.

The lower 0.0040 steel cylinder shim is covered with sealant as well

and slid into place at the bottom edge of the cylinder.

Now a wrist pin clip is installed into the piston with a pair of snap ring pliers

at the inside edge of the piston that lines up at the flat side of the cylinder.

We push it back and forth to ensure that the clip is properly seated into the groove.

The number four cylinder is prepped in the same manner, noting that the arrow on the piston points towards the flywheel.

At the engine stand, the number three piston and cylinder are positioned over the number three rod.

A lubed wrist pin is slid through the piston,

through the connecting rod,

and into the piston at the opposite side.

A clutch alignment tool is used to tap the wrist pin in completely.

Another wrist pin clip is installed to keep the [rod] in place.

A small screwdriver is used to make sure the clip is properly placed into the groove.

The cylinder is pushed down over the piston and into the case, making sure that the cylinder shim does not fall out of place.

The crankshaft is spun 180 degrees so the number four connecting rod is sticking out of the case

and the number four piston and cylinder are installed in the same manner.

With both cylinders in place in the engine case, we install the lower cylinder deflect tin,

which snaps in place in between the fins and the cylinders to the lower head studs.

Don't forget to install these pieces now as they are crucial to directing the air through the cylinder fins

and can't be installed once the heads and pushrod tubes are in place.

The push rod tubes are next to be prepped

and we install new pushrod tube seals at each end of the stainless steel windage style pushrod tubes.

The windage style tubes have a longer neck at the engine case

which helps prevent oil from sloshing out of the sump during hard cornering.

Again we use aviation sealant and it's brushed onto the pushrod tube seals.

The tubes are placed into the engine case with the longer edge inserted into the case

and making sure to line up the welded seams on the tube, at the top.

0.0040 copper head shims are set into place at the top of each cylinder.

The cylinder head is set into place, onto the cylinder, while lining up the four pushrod tubes.

The tubes are rotated a bit to ensure a good seal and to make sure the welded seam is still at the top of the tube.

Assembly lube is dropped onto the cylinder head studs as well as all the head washers

before they are set on all the head studs.

Then all eight cylinder head nuts are threaded onto the studs lightly.

A torque wrench is used to tighten the nuts down.

The nuts are tightened down in two steps.

The first step is to seven-foot-pounds in the pattern shown.

The final step is to 23-foot-pounds, for our 10mm studs, on this engine.

Or 18-foot-pounds if the studs are 8mm, in the pattern shown.

Our custom length Chromoly pushrod ends are lubed and dropped into the pushrod tubes.

The rocker stand shims that we set up our engine with are set over the rocker arm studs.

Followed by the rocker assembly.

Finally, the nuts which are just hand tightened.

We're just setting the assembly in place for now as we will pull the rockers off when we first crank over the engine.

A valve cover and bale are installed temporarily to keep any debris out.

The intake ports are stuffed with paper towels.

Spark plugs are threaded into the heads.

We tape off the oil cooler passages

and plug the engine case to keep anything from falling into the engine.

The whole process is completed on the opposite side of the engine at the one and two cylinders.

We run a section of oil hose from the oil pump to the return on the case temporarily.

A final touch is swapping out the stock valve covers.

Stock style valve covers will not work because the longer rocker arms will end up hitting the cover.

We'll install a set of stainless steel valve covers from EMPI that are designed to work with the rockers.

The new covers are taller and have a square off shape to allow clearance for the longer rocker arms.

They also have a welded lip at the bottom edge to keep the gasket in place and fit the cylinder head very snugly.

The covers come with a new bale as the stock bales are not long enough to fit over the new cover.

With that, our long block is complete.

Yes, we still need to properly install the rocker assemblies, pushrods and set the valves;

but we'll do that right before we start the engine for the first time.

In our next few videos,

we'll cover installing all the engine tin, all of the engine accessories

and by the end; we'll fire up the engine on our stand and cover the break-in and tuning procedures.

Thanks for sticking with us through this long series.

In the meantime, head over to JBugs.com for all your vintage Volkswagen parts and accessories.

5 HIDDEN VEHICLES IN FARMING SIMULATOR 2019 !!! - Duration: 3:04.

Hey, good morning everyone, i'm The Farmeur, today we find ourselves for a

new video about Farming Simulator 2019

today we will see the five vehicles that Giants

We have pretty much hidden everywhere in Factsheets

and in the Trailers so when you know maybe giants love to hide us

vehicles here and there and so I did you do a little research

simply to find all his vehicles

so do not hesitate to put the little one thumbs up just to encourage me

for this little series to tell us in comment

however if you want an episode 2 to find other vehicles and

do not hesitate to see them in description you will have all the

video and photographic sources for check all information

so we start directly with the hardi mega so the mega hardy is a

brand sprayer that succeeds the bold that we know

all so he has a tank of 1500 l

or 1800 liters or 2200 liters depending on the model and this is a model that will serve you

for all who is spraying as many large fields as small fields

then the Holmer Terra Dos T4-40 so it's a beet picker

which goes to 40 Km / h, and 45,000 liters ofcapacity 460 kilowatts and 626 horses

it will cost you 495 000 euros and so this one just announces

the arrival of Holmer in FS19

so then I show you the number 3 so this is the Vaderstad Spirit R 300s

so it's simply a very simple seeder of the vaderstad brand

and we can know that it's a Spirit R 300 S, because it's written right there

so this one simply has a hopper that goes to 2,800 liters so of

2800 liters a working width of 3.0 meters and also he can go

between 8 km/h and 14 km/h so what is still nice enough

then we go on an Amazon Cenius 8003 2TX super so this one so

it's just a little bit of a 8.0-meter farmer working with 29 teeth

and this is beautyful

then number 5 the challenger mt 743 so be careful, it's not

an MT 800E it's an MT 743 so it's not a

800 series but it's a 700 series and so this series can be seen directly

ici donc c'est un tracteur qui va à 335 chevaux pour 249 kilowatts

here so it's a tractor that goes to 335 horses for 249 kilowatts

this as a very good tractor so friends do not hesitate to tell us

in comment what did you think of this video and if you also want

other research of this type for find different hidden vehicles in

the Trailers, in photos etc and do not hesitate to go see the

description to check all that, go to me on this, I will tell you "See you next time^^"

And I will wish you all, an excellent end to the day, go "Bye everyone"

D'Souza: I think it's a real reflection of the...

[Audience shouting]

D'Souza: See? This is the acceptable bigotry of the Left.

This is the acceptable biogtry of the Left in which...

[Audience shouting]

D'Souza If he knew an ounce of history, he would sit here, listen to me,

He won't do that because he's a thug. He's a thug who wants to shout me down.

That's all he knows how to do.

[Audience shouting]

D'Souza: Listen you don't have the right to tell these people what they can hear.

They all came voluntarily. So why don't you sit your butt down and listen to me

and then ask your question. It's not your school. It's not your school.

Did you start it? Did you pay for this building?

Protestor: Get the f**k out.

[Audience shouting]

Audience member: Get your hands off him!

[Audience quietly talking]

[Audience cheering and applauding]

D'Souza: Well, let's continue.

Woman: Thank you very much.

D'Souza: This is actually my topic for today,

the breakdown of civility in America.

D'Souza: Lincoln was elected to unite a country and stop slavery.

Democrats smeared him, went to war against him,
