I would love to talk about the gift of empowerment this is very special to me

you know at the end of my show I always like to give something to the volunteers

for volunteering and I include the audience as well from you know

participer their participation in the show and I call this the gift of

empowerment which always works better if you're a little bit more relaxed so with

your permission if I could just perhaps do a little mini relaxation right now

and everybody I would get you and just relax and sort of take a deep breath all

the way in and exhale just allow your body to relax excellent good deep breath

all the way in as you exhale just allow your eyes to close you have not already

done so and we're just gonna go through a little progressive relaxation starting

at the top of your head and just imagine a wave of relaxation just flowing down

over your and over your forehead over your eyes relaxing your eyes even more

going down your face into your cheeks and jaw your entire face completely

relaxed and now that wave of relaxation going down the back of your head and

into your neck and your neck is even more relaxed just loosen them just allow

it to fall forward if that's comfortable for you

just relax boosting up your shoulders is your wave of relaxation continues to go

down your arms flowing all the way down to your fingertips

completely relaxed and take another deep breath all the way in and as your exhale

double your relaxation is this wave of relaxation continues going down into

your chest and abdomen gently and easily down your spine then into your lower

back going down into your hips and thighs relaxing your needs

some cats all the way down to your toes it's your entire body completely relaxed

all the way from the top of your head down deeper down to the tips of your

toes feeling so good to be so very very relaxed on another deep breath all the

way in and as you exhale double your relaxation excellent as you continue to

breathe in and out at your own relaxed pace like to introduce you to the gift

of empowerment something very special because you begin to picture imagine

since and feel a very special goal dream a desire that is uniquely yours you do

this easily effortlessly you're about to make important changes in your life

they're going to help you lead a healthier happier more productive life

as you listen to my words you now become free from any and all limiting beliefs

that have held you back in fact from this moment on all limiting beliefs are

completely removed knowing that each and every one of your goals your dreams your

desires can and will be achieved by you just make this a crystal clear vision

deep in your mind and deep in your imagination see yourself having all that

you want and this vision leads leads to an empowering emotion of feeling there's

right outside of you in fact it's directly in front of you simply extend

those of your arms right now just reach out there's you reach out you grab it

and you pull it in and as you pull it in it becomes forever yours that's right

congratulations your deepest desires are now yours for the rest of your life and

if anyone should ever tell you different they are wrong next one's in a moment

I'm going to awaken and emerge you they're counting up from one to five

there's you awaken you'll feel alert refreshed absolutely fantastic starting

right now on one feel the energy in the room as you prepare to come back and

bring all this wonderful positivity back with you to feeling great like you just

had a mini refreshing power nap three go ahead and do a full body stretch it

feels so good to stretch out all the way or your eyes are beginning to blink as

they prepare to open and five eyes open awake alert refreshed feeling absolutely

fantastic

What Are S.M.A.R.T. Goals: S.M.A.R.T. Method of Goal Setting - Duration: 7:01.

Well, the nice thing about setting goals is once you learn how to do it based on your

personality.

You can take that into anything that you want to do for the rest of your life.

This is Stephanie B from Career Makeover Academy.

And today, I have an honored guest.

Jeannette Ryals with Jeannette Ryals & Company.

A real estate investor with more than 12 years of experience bringing her information online.

So that she can teach others how to do the same thing.

So that they can be financially free.

Welcome, Jeannette!

How are you today?

I'm great.

Thanks for having me on, Stephanie.

I just kind of wanted to see what's your background on goals and have you tell us a little about

yourself.

Absolutely.

So, I spent 16 years in corporate America in a sales executive and management position.

Teaching others with no sales experience, how to set and achieve goals.

And I did that mainly on the personal side, because if you set personal goals that are

extremely large you will get everything that you want professionally out of life.

That's how actually approached goal setting in the corporate setting.

But, after 16 years, I kind of had enough of it.

And, I decided 'You know what?

With all of the time, effort, and energy that I'm spending I really should just be doing

this for myself."

So, I stepped down from management and just put myself into a sales position.

And, planned for 5th year that I would actually step out and start my own business in real

estate investing.

And that's what I did.

After 1 year, I was able to replace my income of 6 figures with just real estate.

And, I continue to do real estate today.

Along with promissory note lending.

And then teaching other people how to actually self-direct their IRAs so they can make money

rather than just seeing their money stay very even over 10-20 years.

So, that's what I do now.

I think it'll be very interesting to see how your goal setting practice has set you up

for such success at this point in your life.

You're doing amazing things and actually teaching others to do what you do.

Well, the nice thing about setting goals is once you learn how to do it based on your

personality you can take that into anything that you want to do for the rest of your life.

I don't start my day any differently now than when I was in corporate America.

I get up.

I plan my day.

I work my plan rather than having my day kind of run me.

Which is very easy to do if you work from your home.

That's the same thing I do every day.

So, I get up.

I exercise.

I make sure that i plan my day out.

Whatever my top 3 things are to do I make sure I get them done first.

Or, if there's something I just absolutely dislike I get it out of the way first thing.

I think once you learn to set and achieve goals it becomes very simple to set yourself

up for what you want out of life.

And, since success means so many things to so many people.

I think it's important to realize that you have to find what's important to you.

There's nothing right and there's nothing wrong.

It has to be based on what you want out of life.

For me, I wanted time and freedom.

So, I didn't want to have all of my corporate benefits that I had because I know they came

with golden handcuffs.

The company car, the expense ticket, everything like that.

That was wonderful, but that also meant that they could call me up any time that they wanted

to and have me drive 100 miles.

Have me go out of town on 2 days notice.

Or 1 day notice.

I really wanted to own my time again and it didn't really matter to me what I did, but

I knew that by real estate I could not only effect today's income but I could get tomorrow's

security under way.

And I think that's what most people are really worried about today is that they really wanted

something for themselves but their just not sure how to do it.

Or, they want that job that they love but they just don't know how to make the money

side of it work.

So, I think once you learn to set goals and obtain them and actually evaluate them things

become so much easier for you to do every day.

It's a requirement in order to succeed.

And to be able to set those goals and obtain them.

Set reasonable steps to obtain those goals.

Without that, you can have a pie in the sky goal but if you can't figure out how to make

it happen.

Then it doesn't happen usually.

You know?

It's demoralizing.

It is.

How many people set those new years resolutions and then by week 2 or 3 or 4 or February,

March they're like "Ugh.

I'm a failure.

I couldn't do this."

Exactly!

And the problem is: they didn't have the background to set up those goals and actually be able

to obtain them.

Right!

And honestly, if you set goals based on how your personality is it's so much easier.

You know, the "Type A" person - the goal getter - they will figure out a way to do things;

but the person maybe that is kind of an even-keeled person - that isn't as high energy and things

like that - sometimes setting goals can really scare people like that and they need to understand

that there's more than one way to set and achieve goals.

I teach mainly the S.M.A.R.T Method but I also have 3 other methods that I use because

not everybody wants to set a goal for every part of their life.

Maybe they only want fitness or they only want financial or they only want to set that

goal to get that better job.

And that's ok.

And, I think people need to realize that: If you kind of work with your personality

instead of against it things will fall into place much easier for you.

Yeah, I think people sort of assume that the "Type A" personality route's the only way

to go.

And when they lose momentum they internalize that, unfortunately.

So, let's backtrack a little bit and lets talk about the S.M.A.R.T goals.

Can you tell us what that acronym stands for?

Sure.

S.M.A.R.T.

Goals entail 5 things.

First, your goal needs to be 'Specific'.

If I was going to run a marathon I need to say what marathon I'm actually going to run.

For those of you that don't know, that's 26.2 miles.

That's a specific goal.

It has to be 'Measurable'.

That's what the 'M' stands for.

Is it going to be measured at an event?

Are you going to just do a time?

Are you going to do a place?

It has to have a specific ability to be measured.

That way you know if you hit it or if you just kind of failed on hitting that.

Which is ok.

Then you have to write it so it's 'Attainable' for you.

For example: I haven't run a marathon since I was 40 years old.

For me to go out and do right now that is in no way, shape, or form going to happen.

It has to be attainable for you as you write it today.

Then it has to be 'Realistic' for you.

Depending on your job.

Are you working 60 hours a week or do you have 2 children?

Things like that you have to take those into consideration.

So, is it realistic for you at this point in your life to actually do the goal that

you're putting on paper?

The 'T' stands for the "Time".

When are you going to actually start.

Whether it's start training, start your new business, start training for a marathon.

Whatever that is, you have to have a start date.

One of the biggest issues, I think, with some people is that they'll say 'As soon as I get

this done I'll start that."

"As soon as I get that done then I'll start that," but you can't do that with goals.

You have to start whenever it is.

If it's tomorrow or today at 5 pm that's when you're going to start.

And you'll see whether or not you're going to get what you need done out of the way to

actually hit that goal.

Well, that's the S.M.A.R.T.

Method.

The other method that I actually teach and it works a lot for creative people.

If you just get overwhelmed by having a goal sheet and looking at that goal sheet every

single day and saying those goals to yourself you just get so overwhelmed because you feel

stressed out, another method that I teach is Personality Plus.

How to TRAVEL MORE while working FULL-TIME - Duration: 4:04.

hi guys welcome back to my channel travel bug bee

so for today's video then I'm gonna be giving you guys some tips on how you can

travel more while working full time so I myself I'm a full-time worker and I find

a lot of people feel that because they work full time they don't have time to

go travel basically I'm gonna give you guys some tips on how you can actually

make the most of your annual leave and also how to get extra time off as well

so you can go and travel now of course I will do a disclaimer as well this does

depend on your job depends on your company your country things like that so

make sure you go and research some of the details yourself before you actually

do some of these tips depending on your job whatever to work if you're full-time

part-time things like that you can request annual leave every year and

around the average it's equivalent to four working weeks or twenty-one days

depending on your job so let's just say you do have twenty-one days you can

split this up into three individual trips throughout the year

one big three-week trip or whatever way you work it out so request your annual

leave and book your holiday accordingly the next tip then is how to use your

annual leave wisely so if you booked really carefully you could get a lot of

days without using too much annual leave so what I mean by that is say if you

work a Monday to Friday job you have Saturday some days off if you fly on

the Saturday book the next Monday to Friday off and then come back the

following Sunday if that makes sense so basically you got Saturday Sunday

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday so in total you get nine

days off and you've only used five days of your annual leave it depends on what

kind of shift you do I do a four day shift and then off two days so let's

just say I booked a week's holiday and I fly out on my first day off I only need

to use four days on my annual leave but I get eight days in return if that makes

any sense and I hope I make sense next tip I have then it depends on where you

are but I use this a lot so I am always going

to get my two days off together which is fantastic so I can plan in advance

and with these two days off that I can book a short city break on those two

days that I'm off so that way I could still travel and not use on your annual

leave yeah you might going to get two days out a destination but if you booked

your times carefully then you make the most of it number four it then is to

take unpaid leave so this is at the discretion of your company I've done it

before and in my last job I took a month off to go to South Africa just don't go

overboard with it plan it carefully and make sure you earn it as well

because if you're a lazy co-worker then the company will be less inclined to give

you unpaid leave number five that is if you want to do a really big trip like

either around the world trip for a couple of months or working holiday visa

somewhere and you can take a career break now for some companies you have to

be working in the company for a certain amount of time in order to be entitled

to this so what I mean by that is you take a break from your job you don't get

paid for it but you still can take up to a year off from your job and then come

back from your year off and still have the same job so hope these tips will

help you for making the most of your annual leave or helping you to travel

more if you work full time and part timers you kind of get a bit more leeway

and but it kind of just depends on what you do and what kind of company you work

for their policies and blah blah if you have any more tips on how you can travel

more while working full time leave them down in the comments below also

while your at it give this video like and subscribe

as well you can also check me out on social media I'm on Facebook Instagram

and Twitter all the links are down below in the description and I'll see you for

the next video bye

S. Korea's test of cloud seeding fails to produce rain - Duration: 0:40.

As part of efforts to reduce fine dust pollution, last week, South Korea conducted its first

cloud seeding test.

According to the environment ministry and weather agency, they failed to produce rain.

On Friday, a plane took off from Gimpo Airport near Seoul, carrying silver iodide, a chemical

that helps form water droplets inside clouds.

It headed for the western coast of Gyeonggi-do Province and went down to the coast of Jeollabuk-do

Province.

Along the way, the plane sprayed 24 bursts of silver iodide above the clouds that had

formed over the sea.

The government said it will conduct 14 more tests this year and make artificial rain a

success by 2024.

The Last Straw - ft. Steve Connell and The #Strawpocalypse - Duration: 2:28.

Reporter: [Nature is struggling]

[8 Million tons of plastic in our ocean]

[We've all become addicted to plastics]

[Plastic. Plastic. Plastic...]

We all know about the last straw, right?

that last little push in the wrong direction

the wait, stop! Weight, that won't stop

we can take no more, it climbs on top - and suddenly

everything collapses

Like a wave that rises high, then crashes

and this is where we are right now.

We all know the stats

A truckload of plastics in the ocean every 60 seconds

A straw used for just minutes, exists for 450 years

by 2050, there'll be more plastic in the sea than fish

We get it

And I know, I know

the last straw, seems like such a tiny thing to tip us over

But it's not.

Because it's not about that straw.

It's about the way they all add up

And that means to take care of all of it

You don't take care of all of it

you focus on something

Each of us

One thing

One effort

One repeated action at a time

And when you think about it that way

The last straw is no different from the first

Just one part of a process

No better, no worse

After all, the last straw in one direction

is the first straw in reverse

sometimes we have to move inches,

to go miles,

but with each straw not used

we can smile

knowing we didn't contribute to a pile

that breaks the back of the ocean

But invested in the notion

we can bring the ocean back

and your last straw

is the first straw towards that

and that, is how it always works

One small action

Becomes a movement

in the direction of a solution

Of course we can stop this #Strawpocalpyse

We caused it

So now we either do the right something to fix it

Or the right nothing to pause it.

And that's what the last straw is:

Nothing

Just enough nothing though to push us

in the wrong direction

or the right one

Because a straw is such a tiny thing

Until we don't use it;

And if each of us refuse it

Just watch how quickly

All of that nothing

adds up.

Do I have separation anxiety? - Duration: 6:51.

I think I might have separation anxiety.

Last year I made a video about becoming a parent and the anxiety I had about about that.

And that decision I want to make a follow up since it's been a year and let you know

where where we've been the past year has been full yes sweetie the past year has been full

of lots of awesome moments of discovery.

There's so many more things that my daughter could do now like walk and seeing her walk

for the first time was pretty amazing.

She loves books are so many things that she's learned how to do and I love all those moments.

But what has been really hard for me is how much my experience of anxiety has changed

specifically how much I worry like right now where is she going.

Was she doing when people talk about separation anxiety they often focus on the child side.

It's hard for kids to separate from their caregivers.

It's hard for them to be away from them.

They start to worry about what's happening to their parent if everything is going to

be OK.

They want to check in.

They can't do sleepovers.

Yeah it's a tribble

You got the tribble sweetie they have a hard time with sleep overs with going to camp with

anything that's overnight in a way stuff like that or starting school.

But what no one talks about is the parent side of separation anxiety.

It's something I've learned so much about this year.

It's not so much that it's hard for me to be away from her as much it is that when I

think of something new of going someplace yeah Lion sweetie and you have Ya Ya.

Ya Ya is her octopus I don't know why she calls it Ya Ya.

When we think about OK let's just walk the camera but not not not mess it up.

OK.

When when I think about going someone somewhere new doing something we haven't done before.

My head gets full of everything that could possibly go wrong.

And I get this gut urge to not go there.

Like just a few weeks ago we were going to a holiday party that my friend was throwing

and we hadn't done that done that trip before.

We hadn't been in her home with my daughter before.

And I started to think like how are we going to get there.

We're gonna have to use this new car seat because she's outgrown the old car seat.

What if something goes bad.

Now she's pointing to the screen saying dada's there.

Yes sweetie hi.

Hi dada is making a video.

And you I was thinking like we're going to be at her home.

There's going to be like a glass coffee table.

What if she runs into that and then she gets hurt and something bad happens.

You got the tribble.

And I immediately had this urge to not go.

And that's what happens to me all the time now.

Anything we're doing for the first time.

I don't want to do it.

The other things sweetie you want to come here you want to come here sweetie.

No you want to sit on your spot.

You can sit in your spot.

Can dada come with you and sit on your spot.

The other thing that happens is not only does she like being closer to me when she's struggling

but when she is sad and crying it feels so good to me to be able to soothe her to hold

her to calm her.

And that's the other part of separation anxiety people don't talk about is how good it feels

to comfort your child and how much better that is than the anxiety of letting them go

and do something where there is uncertainty and danger and uncertainty is just what fuels

anxiety.

And I've been feeling so much of that this past year as we do so many new things.

This is the thing about anxiety.

People always talk about anxiety as if you have it and you don't.

And that is completely false.

Anxiety is an emotion we all have.

It's a constant.

It's a it's always going to be there.

And for me this past year has been about learning to stay vigilant in the face of anxiety.

When when I feel that urge to avoid come up to push back against it and I don't want to

make a series of decisions that not only make my world smaller but make her world smaller.

And that's what I've had to learn this year is to push back against that and it's really

hard and it's stressful and I get tense and I am full of worries.

And it's really difficult for me and when I'm able to do it and when I'm able to talk

to my wife and get her help it's not that it gets any easier that time.

But it does the next time.

And that's what I've learned and that's what I'm trying to do.
