Niek Kimmann vs Tino Popma - No-Chain Race // Spain 2019 - Duration: 2:13.
Tino Popma,
Explain, what do you want to do?
I was watching the video from the pump lap on the track in Elche.
And all I'm seeing is: everyone got schooled by the 313..
.. and the Gate 8 king does it again.
You name it, everything about Niek.
But I believe, I can beat you.
I want a revenche.
So on the track in San Vicente..
.. we're gonna do a battle, and you believe you're gonna win.
Yes I do.
We will see!
Bit of trash talk.
So just roll in.
I couldn't handle the pressure!
I thought I wasn't going to pass you anymore!
As you can see, I joined.
I had no chance, so they let me announce.
And man I had so much pressure on that last straight.
Hope you liked me as an announcer.
If you think Tino deserves another revench, let us know in the comments!

Nimma Adbutha Samaya #mohanclazarus #Natesan_Testimony - Duration: 24:05.
My name is Nadesan Raja
I was born in Srilanka
Wattala
I am doing my own business
I have 3 daughters
I belonged to non-christian family
I used to carry temple car and gave pongal as Hindu tradition
After finishing it, I would go to Tirupathi for 22 days as pilgrim
I had cut my hair and done rituals there I went to all temple and worshippped God
I returned to home after I went to Velankkani church
In front of my house, I potted Tulasi plant for worship Kept a brass lamp for worship, I worshipped God in this way
Each year I went Thirupathi and fast for 21 days
He was a devouted person
Everyday morning He worshipped God
If you lit the brass lamp lately, he would scold the children We lit the lamp before he scold us
He used to be very devoted, He used to put frankincense and
lit the lamp in the home every friday
On that days,
My elder brother became ill
There was 3 tumours found in his liver
Doctors said, tumors became cancer and it spread all other places He would alive only for 1 month
My mother too had this disease
It might be an inheritence disease
On 2014, October 28, my brother was died
I got fear after my brother was died I was afraid that this disease would come to me too
So we went to doctor for check up because his family inherited this disease
After checked up, Doctor said to me that I had tumours in my liver
After that I underwent the treatment
At that time my brother in law called me to come to India There we could take ayurvedic medicine
So I went to Palani
At the foot of the hill, they had Ayurvedic medicine
I vowed and did rituals there in Palani
I was there for 21 days I ate vegetables only
I had to go to Coimbatore to take medicine
They asked me to take MRI scan in the hospital
They said to me that I had cancer as the scan report said Your life span would be 3 months only
And you will have to spend 55 lakhs in Indian money
If you bring a similar aged person like you
One part of a liver may cut from his body and fix it in yours This is also not guranteed
At this situation, Doctors gave up on me
I lived in distress
I lived in distress
Brother Mohan C Lazarus "Jesus Redeems" Magazine comes to my aunty's house
When I read this magazine
I saw the meeting which was mentioned there
That was going to held on 2016 April month
I got happiness in my heart,
I decided to participate in that meeting I wished him to touch me
I came to the meeting along with my wife and my daughter
Prayer was held, multitude came there
Suddenly, there rained with thunderstorm
Mohan C Lazarus brother came to the stage
The brother said, firstly confess your sins
Put your hands on you, then prayer for yourself,
At that time, I prayed tearfully
I pleaded God, "O Jesus, Give me healing"
Brother called my name, "Nadeshan, your tumors are disappearing now"
He shouted my name "Nadeshan, Nadeshan put your hands"
While I put my hands upon it, I felt as the tumors were burnt
I Knew it for sure, Something goodness was happened to me
I went to the stage and shared my testimony
Brother asked me "what happened to you?"
I replied something had burnt inside me
It was happened what he had said
I have received this kind of happiness that day
Jesus gave me sound health
After that I got baptized in my church and started to go to the church
I got baptized at the sea
Then I went to hospital
and took MRI scan
Doctor saw my MRI report, I was so worried I asked to doctor "what was the matter?"
You were healed and cured completely
There were no tumors found in you
The doctor was so surprised
He reduced the medicnes
He said once that I would live only for 3 months
My body is healthy now
It has been for 1 and a half year now after attended the meeting of bro.Mohan C Lazarus
I'm healthy now
I do not take any medicine now
I pray to God for everything
I thank Jesus who gave me healing
Beloved in Christ
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ
Today a miracle is going to happen to you
That's why God made you to sit in front of this television
God is speaking with you through this incident
Because out of love upon you, and to do a miracle to you.
You have heard a good testimony
and seen it
The beloved brother Nadeshan
who was belonged to Srilanka
Look, how great miracle God did to him!
Can the humans do this?
No human can do this kind of miracle to anybody
It's a supernatural miracle
only God can do this
The God is Jesus Christ
He loves you too
Listen what the brother spoke
His mother was died of cancer
His brother also was died of cancer similarly
Then he was affected too
The disease was inherited in his family as a curse bondage
It happened due to curse
God's words in the Bible says, for 3 to 4 generations the curse will be occur
The idol worship causes curse
Making others distressed or any blood shedding incident
lead to the curse to pursue in your life
for some curse may have no reason but it pusues in their life
More families are affected due to this curse
In your family too,
for you may also suffer from this cuse bondage
It may be Asthma,
Arthritis
Diabetes
Cancer
Some of these disease inherits in families
It is a curse bondage
It is called as "Karma"
The actions of their ancestors some say "I don't what sin I did in the lost birth"
There is no lost birth
Only one birth to us This is our sins of our ancestors
Our parents, their parents the sins of them will continue as curse
In the Bible, God says it vividly
What is the remedy to it?
Nowadays so many are searching remedy for the curse
They spend money to get remedy
They let themselves suffered and seek remedy
Walking without wearing footwears Making themselves wounded
Having the belief in the name of worshipping God and
Causing injuries and pains to seek the remedy for this curse We could see that so many are doing this for the remedy
Some say, if we go there, you could attain the remedy or solution
It will be alright if you go there
if we go there, you could attain the remedy or solution
It is said like that Even if we go as they said we couldn't get the remedy
We will get the remedy only when we come to the right person or right place
I could say boldly the right person is Jesus Christ
Do you know the reason? Jesus Christ died for our sin and curse and obtained remedy
It is the truth said in the Bible
Jesus Christ was died and resurrected for us
Why should the god hanged on the cross and died as a criminal?
Why you should the God shed blood on the cross ?
Because remedy of the sins
Remedy of the curse
A certain thing should be done for our sins and curse to be changed
God accepted our sin and curse upon him
And became curse on the cross
In Galatians 3:13 says,
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole."
This is a Good news.
For the sins that had done by our ancestors
As the curse continues from the lineage
The disease caused by it The poverty caused by it
The loss happened due to that, and death you may be worried about it
Beloved in Christ
Jesus is the only Redeemer for it
You have no need to spend money
You need not to make yourself distress or suffer
know it It will never happen that spending money will bring the remedy
Do not think you will get remedy if you hurt yourself It will never happen
Forgiveness from sin and family remedy from the curse will cost nothing
To give this blessing to humans freely
God himself became a man, He died on the cross for us He shed blood as a Redeemer
He died and prepared the remedy
It is an easy thing now,
Just believe him
Miracle will happen if you believe that Jesus Christ died for me
You may suffer from cancer today You may suffer from asthma
Your kidney maybe affected
My ancestors had like that. My parents had it So it came to me
You may worry now
I say you a good news
Jesus will do a miracle for you today
Give you strength
Look at that what happened in that brother's life
He had no connection with Jesus
He searched for remedy everywhere
Remedies
Medicine
Even doctors said he would not live any more just 3 months he had
Death is the situation
That is no way to rescue him Medicines couldn't cure him
The steps he had taken for remedies became vain
At that Situation he heard about Jesus Christ
For he heard that Jesus does miracle in this meeting,
He decided to attend the meeting as others said
That Jesus heals the sick When he participated in the meeting,
Jesus called his name and did miracle to him
Look at it carefully
Firstly the God knows our name and our disease
His family was came as one among the crowd in the meeting
I didn't know their name and disease
I deliver God's message ,I pray for others need in the presence of God
God revealed the name, Nadeshan God said that the tumors got healed
Could any man find it out?
Man couldn't do it
God
God do the miracle
Only the God can do such miracle
God uses the man
I don't have any magic or tricks The God, I have is Jesus
That Jesus revealed the name and disease
It is able to do, revealing the name and the disease
But who could give the healing?
The disease was cured to him immediately
The doctors have the proof that He has no cancer now
The doctors said, he would die within 3 months Now he has been healthy for more than one and a half years
Anyone shall meet him
Anyone shall talk with him
You can contact him through us
There is nothing hidden
Jesus is doing the miracle still today
It is very easy to get miracle from him
Listen carefully Do Jesus ask you to change your religion?
For Jesus knew his name and disease, Did Jesus ask him to convert from his religion?
Jesus has no connection with the religion
Jesus never ask to change the religion
Believe him and accept him as your saviour in the heart That's all
Jesus didn't expect anything else Changing the religion cause nothing beneficial
Jesus is not the God who changing the religion
He changes the heart
Jesus never concern the religion you belonged to
Coming with full of burden Coming with tears
Coming with fears Whoever they may be
Apart from all religions "Jesus is the saviour of the world "
We are saying that,
Do you know how many proofs we have like this?
Not one but having more than thousands of testimonies like this
we have with proof Kindly think about it
Can any man do like this?
Healing happened at the very moment
that tumors were disappeared
I didn't pray for him seperately by putting hands upon him
He sat among the crowd Immediately the tumors got burnt , when Jesus called his name and mentioned his disease
it was vanished
for what happened to the tumors
that's Jesus
What is the remedy we should do for it?
Should we give offering? Should we anything else?
Shoulld we carry any bundle and go somewhere to see Jesus?
othing is needed
Jesus says, "You are my children"
"I did finished all thing as a father"
"Do not let yourself trouble" "Just believe" that's enough
"Simple Faith"
Jesus loves me Jesus carried my sins and curse on the cross
Jesus is my saviour, my God, my father
"Jesus, forgive my sin" "give me deliverance" "give me sound health" "bless my family"
That's all, it is not difficult
We are ready let ourself trouble, if God asks us to do that, So many are ready to walk for 1 mile to see Jesus but Jesus didn't ask it
He says "I carried cross for you" then why should you trouble yourself
it's just simple thing "FAITH"
Jesus says "I will do miracle if you call upon my name" You will have to say
"Jesus I believe you as you can do miracle" This what Bro Nadeshan did in his life
nothing else
He didn't come to me, not to Mohan C Lazarus He didn't say that "Heal me I will give you offering"
He called Jesus
Simple faith Jesus stands near you today
He is presented everywhere Pray now
You may have some effects, illness, poverty, obstacles due to curse you may worry about it
Now you are going to pray to God for it
"Jesus forgive my sin"
"Give me deliverance from the curse"
"I believe you God, You died and resurrected for me in the cross"
"I believe, you are alive today"
"Do me a miracle today"
Pray to God like it
Shall we pray?
Put your hands upon the place where you have disease
Put your hands upon those are sick in your house
Jesus is going to touch you God stands by your side
A miracle is going to happen I am just going to pray along with you
There is no magic or tricks
I couldn't heal you but I could pray for you
Jesus only can do miracle Shall you call him?
Shall you pray?
Shall we pray?
Father in Heaven, for those who are praying hopefully
"Forgive our sins"
"Change our curse" "Heal us"
give them that blessings, God
Touch them with your hands of scars As you touched the brother,
called the name of the brother
and gave him amazing healing
please look at the people those who are with illness and praying heavy heartedly
The bondage of curse shall cut in the name of Jesus Christ
Remember that you became curse for this people
As the Bible says, The blood of Jesus will wash away all the sins
The power of your blood shall pour on them
In the name of Jesus Christ The bondages of curse and sins shall cut
Let the curse be changed into the blessing in the name of Jesus Christ
Let the cancer shall be cured in the name of Jesus Christ
The terrible cancer shall be cured in the name of Jesus Christ
Asthma shall be healed in the name of Jesus Christ
The diabetic patient who are suffering due to it
shall get touched by you
And this terrible illness shall be cured Arthritis shall get removed
The power shall come upon the affected part in the body
The power shall come upon the affected kidneys
Healing and Deliverance shall happen in the name of Jesus Christ
The bondage of death shall cut now the bedridden shall be changed
Those who are bedridden shall receive healing and walk in the name of Jesus Christ
Your power shall touch them Praise you God
Show them wonder and Make everyone glad
All their financial problems shall be removed All their financial needs shall get fulfilled
A way shall open for job Marriage function shall happen
Fruit of the womb and child wealth shall be given to them
Miracle shall happen who are all praying for it We praise you God for you have done this
We pray you in the name of Jesus Christ
Amen
Beloved in Christ
Jesus is so loving
Do not compare him with religion
He is unique He has no link with religions
He is the father of Heaven who creaated us
He died and resurrected for us
He is alive today
Not a dead one
Alive even died
So Believe him
"SIMPLE FAITH"
He will do miracle to you in everything
He gave a new life whom had cancer in his life How much your problem is!
Seek him
Hold him God will do miracle

ACT Bootcamp for Behavior Analysts (RFT & ACT w/ Steven C Hayes) - Duration: 8:34.
Hi I'm Steve Hayes and I wanna tell you what's
Steve Hayes! Oh my! I love this dude total total
fan boy, let's uh, see what he's gotta say
what's happening at the ACT Bootcamp for behavior
analyst that's happening in Reno in March 7th
through the 10th. Reno!
that's where I'm from!If you've heard about ACT and about
bootcamp I'm gonna tell you why this one is a
really special and to be very very cool because
it kind of brings together some things that I
think it's really important that the BCBAs around
the world realizing are important - we've got an awesome
group of people who are coming in to do the
training four days three of them have evening
events that sort of walk through this thing out
the metaphor "bootcamp" is that you come in you can
come in as a new recruit not on that much and you
go out ready to fight ready to rumble ready to
get something done and so the guarantee we kind
of make sure the or the goal we set for ourselves
is that you will walk out the door ready the very
next week to do some things that are different
for the people that you serve that will make a
difference but it's also the for
Researchers and others thatt want to kind of figure out
how this all fits together active in RFT and the
the principles on which it is based I think there are
important across the wide scope of Behavior Analysis
not just as a practice but also as a discipline
so what's different about this
well I got to be starting things off you know
talking about the history of ACT and RFT and
sorta how it dealt with this issue of rule governance
impact of rule governance on our behavior things
that you know it's kinda kinda laid out but then really
drilling down as to why is that what is different
about that and that led
as some of you know this relational to frame
theory take on human language and cognition
which really is about as behavioral theory you
can get!
it's uh language and cognition as an
operant
but a special kind of operant a relational operant
that changes how we interact with other features
of the world including how behavioral principles
operate so I'm gonna walk you through the history
of that why those adjustments were made why they
make the behavioral sense and it's sitting on top
of now just the RFT stuff
300... 400...
Studies and it's not like a little part of the
work it's a big body of work and it's absolutely
comprehensible this is not something that's moods
it's not la-la land it's not outer space
but it does change our thinking
and then a Mark Dixon is gonna be coming in
and walking out what he's doing and working with
uh children with development disabilities but also in
so extending this and educational settings - schools
the PEAK program and with the AIM program which
is uh extension of Acceptance and Commitment
Training
out into an educational setting Evelyn Gould will be
licking this up to parent training and some of
the other things that a behavior analyst normally
do hand issues of diversity and other things that
we really need to attend to and in the evening
Ramona Houmanfar will be doing some work on uh
applying ACT and RFT and evolution science
principles to organizational settings
a crew from Fit Learning which is applying uh
RFT concepts to driving fluency
Uh educational context will be doing some work
and
now on day hour, David Sloan Wilson - a real friend
to Behavior Analysis a major evolutionary
biologist from Binghamton University is gonna be there
talking about how we taken ACT and RFT up into an
evolution science view of uh the promoting pro-
-sociality in small groups and the particular
focus that we're gonna be focusing on there for
the groups that you're part of in your practice
And so for example how do you arrange your
supervision teams how do you arrange your
clinical work teams in such a way that you really
get around that kind of competition when really
what we need is cooperation or people stepping
back when they really need to step forward and
there's a a science of that that some of which uh
comes out of evolution science principles some of
Organizational Behavior Management
Ramona Houmanfar & David will be working together um
exercises and so forth that will apply this to
your actual group, so if you can
like show up with people actually in from
your clinic as a team you can sit together and
you can work out you know how do you get the best
function as a team to get the job done and then
the interest of the people that you serve and
of course just having your business
succeed
and so uh that's pretty different now one of the things
I want to point to that's really exciting
about this is this evolution science take and how
this thing that after all the Skinner's last
sentence was um how variation and selection was
critical to Behavior Analysis and wrote entire
articles on how contingencies of reinforcement is a
different kind of uh selection-based stream along
there with a cultural development, genetic
contingencies or survival and genetics
As we've built that out into more extended
evolutionary synthesis
there's a hole that opens up that Behavior
Analysis is trying to step into and so David
and myself up a recent book called the
Evolution and Contextual Behavioral Science an
integration and the re-integration is to go back
with what the founders of analysis hope could
happen in placing this natural science perspective
right inside this functional contextual
perspective on the life sciences the Queen of all
the theories of the sciences which is evolution science
and this isn't just kind of hand waiving I think
that you come what you'll see is that
we're delivering the goods from being able to
move the clientele that you work with
but also expand our vision of the practice uh
that we're engaged in at the discipline report of
to take behavioral principles
elaborated by RFT and nestled inside of the
extended evolutionary synthesis to be able to take
that everywhere that human beings go not in an
arrogant way we've got a lot to learn but in a
way that it was proper attention and due way to
our tradition and what we bring to the table so
if you wanna be part of that you wanna be here
it's March 7th through the 10th it's gonna
be really cool and uh
I promise you you walk out the door are different
the way you walk in I look forward to seeing you
there
so I had heard about this stuff in
2013 and I was like I'm interested so
I handed out flyers so I can go for free, it was really
different and you'll see I'm a pretty big reader
in this topic to
you Context Press all of those those were the
printing press that they started this always part
of it but then this is the good stuff too you
know and that's the the one that most people you
know have beef with... so what Praxis has done is
created a 50 dollar off coupon that anybody like
yourself could use to just not that right off you
can use this code at the link that I think down
below it has to be the most important to work and
just a heads up
they are a Patreon supporter of this so this is a ad I
wanna make sure that we're very clear with you on
that and finding that it's better to partner up
with people and things that I'm very passionate
about I am most stoked about David Sloan Wilson
day 4. Prosocial something I've been very very
eager to learn more about I learned about it
watching online even signed up but I want to see
the data! A couple of other things I'm gonna be
filming there a lot it's gonna be awesome see
what's up we're all trying to do is just take
this public meet up hang out bar situation just
gonna hop around coffee whatever people are into
and Patreon supporters of this
channel we're going to meet up with some sort of
fashion having worked for the details out and see
what sort of hook up we can get for something fun
to do in the city when the evening Steve hopped
on in September to talk about the new book that
he and David so Wilson we're working on it's
linked up here on the side or down below
somewhere mark your calendars for February 6th
one of the questions that comes up is how does
how does this fit within my
scope of practice well you have to distinguish
people that you know competency and scope of
practice so... Mark your calendars for February 6th
that is when we have another episode dropping on
this channel. Do me a favor and check out
another video after this it really helps
Like share subscribe a train of this sort of
stuff and! whew! I'm stoked I ll see you there that's

The YouTube King of Rocketeers | BPS.space | Falcon Heavy Model Launch - Duration: 12:44.
- Have you ever thought about
how rockets keep the pointy end of themselves
going in the right direction as they
move through the atmosphere without wings or fins?
They use a technique called gimballing,
where the exhaust nozzle of the rocket
can be swiveled from side to side.
As the nozzle is moved,
the direction of thrust is changed
relative to the center of gravity of the rocket.
This was technology that was really only available to
space agencies, the military,
and very high-end amateur rocketeers.
And it was kind of available to the
smaller end rocketeer community as well
but it was very cumbersome, hard to,
for any, you know, typical person to recreate,
and it just never really caught on.
Until now.
Joe Barnard, the man behind BPS.space,
has invented the first off-the-shelf gimbal system
that at-home rocket makers can implement
into their boosters.
This space creator is revitalizing the technology
in the amateur rocketeer community.
And is rapidly growing that YouTube channel
to grow his community.
So, let's talk to Joe.
Okay, so Joe, thanks a lot for taking time to just
be here and talk with us today
for the Space Creators series,
I've been following you now, I would say for almost a year,
you've just been kind of popping up on the internet
and I'm loving what you're doing.
What is BPS.space?
- It's becoming sort of a YouTube channel,
it was a business for a little while,
we were doing mostly just direct sales
of a product that we made called Signal.
I actually have one here, it's a little tiny
flight computer that goes inside model rockets
and the computer keeps these rockets stable without fins,
just like the real, you know, space launch vehicles do.
That's kind of like, the main thing that BPS does,
is we work on putting thrust vector control
into model rockets which just,
it's been done before but never at this scale.
- And when I'm watching your channel grow
and your trial and error,
it reminds me a lot of like, NASA in the 50s,
like you just see, that you're kinda see
that their kinda figuring it out
but the rockets are just like going up
and then all of a sudden they're going sideways
and you see they're trying to correct and then,
you're at least making it appear
like you're enjoying your failures,
or that you're learning.
- It looks really good to say like,
oh yeah we learn from all the failures,
like it's, well this is actually not a failure
it's a learning opportunity, like failure sucks.
It really does, like, just no matter what you're doing.
Whether you're blowing up a 60 million dollar rocket
or whether you're blowing up a weekend project.
Auto sequence start,
eight, seven, six,
five, four, three, two.
(rocket launching)
- What inspired you to take on this, like,
niche market of model rockets
but then even more narrowed down, like,
this is high-end stuff, like,
you're creating like the Ferrari of model rockets.
- In 2015, in the fall, I had no prior experience
in aerospace or in engineering or in software
or, you know, computer design,
any of these things, it was all self-taught,
and I really wanted a job at SpaceX.
I had graduated the Berklee College of Music
with a music degree,
I wanted a serious job in aerospace engineering
and I just knew, like there was no way
I was going to be taken seriously
unless I either went back to school
or I did something really impressive.
It was a literal shower idea where I thought,
okay, well I, you know,
I have some really basic coding skills,
I could probably figure out how to 3D print things,
could probably figure out how to do
a little bit of the math behind how rockets fly
and, if I worked hard enough at it,
I could probably land a model rocket
like the Falcon 9 lands.
And that might be impressive enough that SpaceX would say,
hey that was the impetus for the project.
- Have you always been, like a space fan?
I mean, considering
you went to school for music, then you graduated,
and then you decided you wanted to get into aerospace,
was this like a new-found fandom
or has this been something that you've
followed for a long time?
- I mean this happened with a lot of people,
but it wasn't until I saw
the Grasshopper landing test from SpaceX
where they take their, one of their early
Falcon 9 development rockets,
they fly it up like a thousand feet
and then just bring it back down.
And it looks crazy, it's like
cool, what video game is this?
Like, they do incredible optic, looks great.
I saw that and it was like, uh oh
I've picked the wrong career path
because that's what I want to do.
- I wouldn't say I was similar,
not necessarily like wanting to work for SpaceX
but I grew up being a huge space nerd,
I went to space camp, I would build the models,
I dreamed of being an astronaut, right.
When I got to college I just fell in love with film,
I thought I wanted to work in sports.
I worked in sports, learned I don't want to work in sports.
I was working at Discovery Channel
and I remember being on YouTube randomly
and seeing that Grasshopper video
and being like, I'm living in the future
and that just lit that fire back up for me.
What you're doing right, is that,
it's almost like reality TV to a sense.
We're witnessing real-time trial and error.
I made a video several months ago, I think I titled it
Why SpaceX Live Streams are Can't Miss Internet.
- I saw that, yeah.
- We're basically watching in real-time,
like, trial and error
and if you look at their YouTube channel from the beginning,
it was just such a rollercoaster of watching these
rockets crashing or failing to launch at all
and I see in your channel a lot of parallel.
- I think you're right, I hadn't
thought about it this way before
but SpaceX has a lot of videos
on their YouTube channel from a while ago
that are like, of rockets not going so well
and boy, I have a lot of those too.
Yeah, so the Falcon Heavy, it's right back there,
this is launch, it's a 1/48 scale model
and it's just unbelievably complicated
but it has launched once all up full, so far.
We're gonna land this stuff too, that's gonna happen.
It's just, that's not the only thing that's going on.
So I also have an isolated landing test program.
There's a small, black rocket sitting on its side,
behind the Falcon Heavy, that you can't see too well.
That's the Eco landing test vehicle.
So right now, we're dropping that thing from a drone
and just seeing how close we can get.
It's pretty close, man, it's pretty close,
like two meters off the ground, it'll just hover.
But things are just like,
all trending in the right direction
and after, I think, we get Falcon Heavy flying well,
I think it would be cool to start literally
scaling things up a little bit too.
- It seems like from your videos,
are you making all of the boards by hand?
I mean the boards you're having manufactured elsewhere
but you're soldering on several components onto that board,
can you talk about that process a little bit?
- This is what shows up,
this is how much I do not manufacture,
so this is basically, it's a piece of fiberglass
with two pieces of copper on the top and the bottom.
And then it has a little bit of,
I don't know what the material is,
but there's a silk screen on the top and bottom too
that give you the Signal logo
and you have some other little
indication things and lines, basically
this is how it shows up.
Then I buy all of the little components.
And it turns from this into this.
So, it doesn't look too much different
but there are basically,
there's a little bit more going on there,
there's a lot of components on the back.
If you're manufacturing in any type of bulk,
you have this process, the soldering
on this board, done by a machine
because a machine is just, like, incredibly precise
and it cuts done just the time that people have to work.
But if you're really trying to be cost-effective
and you're not paying yourself,
it's more cost-effective to just do it by hand
and sort of suck it up.
I spend like, a week every two months just
slaving over a hot iron.
- And how many can you do in a day now?
- I'm up to like 32 a day.
It's crazy.
- Wow.
- It's so much work, I really hate doing it so much.
- You're able to teach people things, give them a story
but also promote your product, which is a great product,
doesn't feel like a commercial, it feels like
I'm doing this really cool thing,
but I'm also using this thing that I invented.
- I realized this in the fall,
when I started getting
like super serious with the YouTube videos.
It's almost always worth it to like,
share what you're doing online.
I think this is really underappreciated
and there are so many people who are doing projects
that are exactly like mine
and they're just not publishing stuff.
You should totally do it
because it'll make your work better.
It makes me a better engineer
to get feedback from other people.
- What do you hope for the future of BPS?
What kind of obstacles
or goals are you trying to set for yourself?
- It's really hard to think about that right now,
except that I do know where I don't want it to go.
Everyone wants to be Elon Musk,
we'll like, get the elephant out of the room.
I also kind of look like him,
that's like, 30% of the comments on my channel.
Everyone's like, really great idea these days
is I'm gonna start a space company
and we're gonna beat out the whole market
because we're gonna land our rocket,
it's like you are too late, buddy.
- Yeah no, you needed to do that 20 years ago.
- I don't want to be an orbital launch company,
I don't wanna like, scale to that level.
But I also, I wanna build bigger rockets.
There are a couple of companies that are sort of,
in between orbital and the hobby scale
that are doing some cool work.
Some of those intermediate levels are really cool
and I think there's some room for good development there.
- Like sounding rocket level type?
- Yeah, there's like, there's still
these weird problems with sounding rockets
like, you get aeroheating
because you have to dump so much impulse
at the beginning of your flight
that like, your airframe has to be really expensive
because it has to resist a lot of heat
so like, if you can go slow through thrust vector control.
I kind of just wanna do the
education thing for a little while.
I feel like I'm using
all of my talents to the best of my ability right now.
So like, I know how to shoot video,
I, like that was a career for me for a little while.
And so I'm using that to put out this information.
And I like building rockets and I,
that's what the videos are about so I think it's,
right now where it's at,
as much as I can grow it, that's the goal.
- Now that you've done all of this
do you still wanna work for SpaceX?
- What I can tell you about that
is that the original goal
was to get the attention of SpaceX with the project
and what I can tell you is that
by that measure, I have definitely succeeded.
(laughing)
just build cool things, and put them online
because people will notice more than SpaceX.
- That's been your ethos this whole conversation,
is if you're doing something you're passionate about
let other people know about it.
So with your Falcon Heavy, what are you hoping your
peak altitude's gonna get to?
- The Falcon Heavy, yeah, in terms of peak altitude
this thing isn't going higher than 100 meters.
The point of the Falcon Heavy is not altitude
but it's just like, how much nonsense complexity
can I cram into a rocket that size?
But if you want the numbers, it's like
anywhere between 60 and 100 meters.
The upper stage is really light
and pretty unpredictable so, but
these cores at the bottom drop off at like 15 to 20 meters,
I mean they just don't go anywhere.
(TJ laughing)
It looks so majestic but what you'll notice is that
when those boosters drop off they can't be more than like,
you know, 100 feet in the air.
- Do you plan on eventually getting into liquid engines?
Or do you want to stay with the solid motors,
have you even dabbled in that yet?
- Yeah, if you had asked me if
I had planned on getting into liquid engines
six months ago, I would've said no,
but now, I kinda feel like it would be really fun.
But it also requires a non-trivial amount of cash.
So we'll see, I would like to
but there are a lot of things
that need to work out for that to happen.
- Joe, thanks a lot for taking time to talk to me,
for anybody else watching
and they wanna follow more about Joe,
the links to his channel and Twitter
and everything are below.
He's got great content.
Even if you aren't interested in
learning how to build model rockets,
Joe has just a lot of great rocket science on his channel
so you'll learn a lot.
Oh, I do also wanna pump sfsf.shop,
Michael the creator makes these really cool shirts
and I wore in the last couple episodes.
I'm gonna have a link in the top comment below,
please consider buying his shirt, the proceeds I would get
are actually gonna be directly donated
to the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America,
it's a nonprofit that fights for the rights
of veterans across the country.
So anyways, if you liked this video
please consider subscribing to my channel,
I try to put up videos when I can
but never know when it's actually gonna happen
but I do try very hard
and would love to hear what you think.
Alright guys, thanks for watching
and I'll talk to you later.
My next video's about flat Earth,
that's all I'm gonna say.
