In 2009, The New Teacher Project sparked a wave of reform when it reported that less
than 1% of teachers were rated unsatisfactory even in school systems
with abysmal student outcomes. Urged on by Washington, more than 30 states
adopted new teacher evaluation systems. Good idea, but a case study in how
well-intentioned reforms can turn into clumsy mandates. Principals in Nevada, for
example, now estimate they spend 150 hours – or 19 work days a year – filling out
required paperwork that simply rehashes what they'd already observed in
classrooms, recorded on paper, and discussed with teachers. It wastes time,
and that's a recipe for chasing away the kind of great school leaders we need. And
for all of the paper shuffling, still just one-to-two percent of teachers are
rated unsatisfactory. Look, teachers absolutely need to be evaluated more
rigorously. The way to do this, though, is not by imposing paper burdens. It's by
giving school leaders more authority, leeway, and autonomy, and then holding

Airsoft Entrepot TV - How to load a battery with an Imax B6
Hello everyone and welcome to this new video !
Today, we'll learn how to use an Imax B6 to charge batteries
It's a very polyvalent battery charger, perfectly adapted to Airsoft practice
Disclaimer
The Imax B6 we propose isn't the Sky RC model, but it still meet the user requirements in term of quality
We have been proposing this model for years now and it works very well ; we use it everyday in our workshop !
Unboxing
The Imax B6 comes in a cardboard box with a few different connectors and its booklet, which is in English only
Translations of the booklet can be found on the internet
This model doesn't come with a power cable, but the power cable is available on our website
However, the Imax B6 PRO AC does come with a power cable
Configuration
The Imax B6 is a very complete charger, appreciated by airsoft players but also by models enthusiasts
At first it may not be very intuitive to use, but it becomes easier with a bit of practice
Here are a few advices in order to charge your battery
Connect the charger to the power cable : it will turn on
Note : all batteries do not come with the exact same type of connector, so the plugin process may change a bit
Choose the right connector depending of the connector of your battery (deans with deans, tamiya with tamiya, etc)
Plug your battery
Nimh battery are directly plugged with the connector
Lipo and Lifepo are plugged with their connector, and also their balance connector
When your battery is connected to the battery charger, push on the "batt type" button
You'll be able to choose the type of battery you want to charge (Lipo, Nimh, Nicd...)
When the correct program is chosen, push the "enter" button to approve the setting
Then, push the button again to launch the charge
In order to choose the Lifepo program, first go to user set program and push the enter button
Then, change the voltage from 3.7V to 3.3V (you'll see that "Life" will be written instead of "Lipo")
Conversely, if the battery charger is set on the "Life" program, change for 3.7V and you'll have the Lipo program
Once you have chosen a battery type, different informations will be available
Battery type, amperage, voltage (and number of cells)
Push the enter button to set each parameter
To change the amperage, push the enter button and change the amperage with the arrow buttons
For Lipo, Lifepo and Nimh batteries, a slow charge between 0.5 and 0.8A is a good choice
Push the enter button again to choose the tension
For Lipo battery for example, you'll probably choose between 7.4V and 11.1V
For Nimh, you'll probably choose between 8.4V and 9.6V (and 9.9V for Lifepo)
Once all your settings are chosen, press the enter button for a few sec in order to launch the charge
For Lipo and Lifepo, you can choose whether the charge program or balance program
The "balance" program will balance each of the cell of your Lipo/Lifepo battery, but it will be a bit slower
When your battery is fully charged, a distinctive sound can be heard
About the fake delta peak cut off : it happens when you charge your battery too quickly (with 1.5 or 2A for example)
The battery may send a message to the charger telling that the battery is fully charged, even though it's not
This phenomenon only happens with Nimh and Nicd batteries
Also, don't forget to take all necessary precautions when you charge your battery

The Imax B6 is a charger we really like for its sturdiness and modularity
It's a very complete package, for a reasonnable price

Today a very fast video comparing Lightroom with On1 Photo Raw 2018
As everyone knows Adobe has turned Lightroom into a subscription-only program
And many people, myself included, are looking for alternatives to leave Lightroom
On1 has a very nice proposal with On1 Photo raw
I'll edit the same photo in both programs, which are very similar
and in the end, we will have the result
The library is very similar to both programs
You'll feel right at home if you're used to Lightroom
The development module of the photos also
Being more accustomed to Lightroom editions end up coming out faster
But On1 Photo raw is very powerful
All the tools available in Lightroom you will find in the menus of On1 Photo Raw
I really liked the Photo Raw color system.
White balance is pretty cool on On1
The control of curves is almost identical

Top 5 Best Tiny Houses | AMAZING Tiny Houses on Wheels - with great layouts - Duration: 3:42.
Hi guys and welcome to GoDownsize! On this channel we feature a lot of small
spaces and for the past two years Morten and I have been traveling the world
filming tiny houses and sharing them with you guys - so today I want to share
with you my top 5 of the best tiny houses that I've seen
Number 5 is Bears Tiny Homes. I love this cozy cabin it has a wooden interior which is not something
that I usually prefer but what really sold me on this cabin was the layout it
has an amazing layout, it actually has a downstairs bedroom which is a normal
size you can fit a regular bed in there it has tons of storage -
- and it has the option of an upstairs bedroom as well so if you don't like walking up a ladder
or even a staircase you have the downstairs bedroom and then you can use
the loft as a guest bedroom or for a kid or whatever your family looks like
On top of this house having an amazing layout the guy who owns the company, Mark -
- is such a sweet guy and I'm sure that he would take really good care of
you if you wanted to build a house with him
Number four is A New Beginning Tiny Homes. This is a craftsmen style tiny
house and it is so beautiful. Adam, the builder, clearly has an eye for
details and he has carefully thought out every detail in this beautiful home
His love for detail is visible throughout the house, and that curved ceiling - Wow!
Moving on to number 3: Marjolein's tiny house. It's designed by Walton studios
in the Netherlands and it's a great beautiful tiny house it has
beautiful lines and so many great solutions to eco-friendly buildings in
Europe so I'm really hoping to go back and check out this house now that it's actually finished
And now for number two: Cornerstone Tiny Homes has so many
windows I don't think I've ever been in a tiny house with that many windows
It has a separate bedroom with a Murphy bed so you don't have to climb up any
ladders and has a big kitchen with plenty of counter space and a spacious bathroom
The whole entire feel of this house is just light and bright and maybe that
appeals to me especially as a Scandinavian, we don't get much sunlight
It's definitely a great house to make it to number two on my list. Now for number one
on the list: Free Range Homes. This was my absolute
favorite of all the tiny houses that I've seen right when you walk in you
enter through these French doors on the side of the house and you have this
beautiful area with a huge couch and you can easily seat six or eight people in
that couch nook, it has the beautiful windows tons of light in an open floor plan
It has a sleeping loft and a big bathroom but what makes this house
particularly great is that it has the downstairs bedroom it's not very big but
it's definitely big enough to fit a bunk bed in there which give you the option
of actually living in this house two adults and two kids
combined with the overall great interior and the windows and the couches I'm sold
