HARVARD MED SCHOOL RESEARCHER DISCUSSES THE SCIENCE OF WHERE CONSCIOUSNESS COMES

FROM

BY ARJUN WALIANOVEMBER

As Nikola Tesla said, The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make

more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of it existence. And

truly, we are living in the beginning stages of a second scientific revolution, one where

scientists from all over the world are coming together to emphasize something that has tremendous

implications for us all that physical matter is NOT the only reality.

Its called non-material science, and despite what skeptics might think, its a field

full of published studies just as rigorously researched as those in the hard sciences.

As the American Institutes for Research (AIR) has concluded:

The statistical results of the studies examined are far beyond what is expected by chance.

Arguments that these results could be due to methodological flaws in the experiments

are soundly refuted. Effects of similar magnitude to those found in government-sponsored research

at SRI and SAIC have been replicated at a number of laboratories across the world. Such

consistency cannot be readily explained by claims of flaws or fraud.

The statement above is more than two decades old, written in the same year the U.S. government

declassified parts of their STARGATE program, through which they investigated and used psi

concepts such as telepathy and remote viewing.

The modern scientific worldview has been predicated on assumptions derived from classical physics.

Many of these assumptions turned into scientific dogma, dogma that most people rely upon and

accept as fact today. It was the introduction of quantum mechanics that brought the non-material

world to reality, and our subsequent recognition that consciousness plays a huge role in understanding

the nature of what we call our physical material world.

Below is a snippet of our recent interview with Dr. Natalie Leigh Trent, a Postdoctoral

Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, where

she investigates the mind-body practices of yoga and mindfulness for health and wellbeing.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2006 and her

Doctorate in neuroscience from Queens University in 2012.

She was the first signee of the Manifesto for a Post-Materialist Science, a document

put together by an internationally recognized group of 200 scientists that explores this

subject in depth.

In the interview, Dr. Trent explains non-material science and whether or not consciousness

is produced by the brain. She also offers a few facts that show what makes this branch

of science so interesting.

The Insane New Trend of Funeral Styling | WTFashion | Harper's BAZAAR - Duration: 6:49.

Stars are just like us.

Except their funerals are a lot more

fabulous than ours.

So I've enlisted the help of the ladies from

Going Out In Style

To help me with every detail

of my send-off celebration

from the flowers

to the invitation

to decor

and the casket

but most importantly

the finale look.

Because, who doesn't want to look fabulous at their funeral

#burymeinthis

well, not really this,

but something over the top.

We'll figure it out.

Hey, how are you!

I'm so excited to be with you

but I'm also a bit —

I'm a bit nervous

I have to say

I need you guys to tell me a little bit more

about what are we doing

and just

ease me into a little

so what are we up to today?

Well, welcome

We are really happy that you're thinking about your funeral ahead of time.

These ladies are all formal wedding planners

Who've decided to bring their expertise to the funeral planning business.

They're all about making funerals

chic and as fashionable as possible.

Because, I mean if it's your last party

you're ever going to throw

it should be your absolute best.

Where do we begin

cause I obviously never planned my funeral

You can do an invitation to your funeral

which also serves as mementos that people might

carry for years to come or keep

I've always wanted to do an old death certificate

but fill it out with the dates

and then I want

maybe some sort of like swag bag

I love it

So I think these bags are really chic

so we can maybe put the t-shirts in here

the gummy bear that I love

so tell me a little bit about the process

we start with the casket

You know how when you have a new car you can

wrap it in matte black or something like that

can we perhaps wrap the casket in like interlocking

Gucci G's

or like the

Chanel C's

Yes, that's possible

and it's been done

It's been done!?

Yes!

Who?

I can't say

You can't say, okay

It's the doctor patient confidentially

only in your case

there's no need for a doctor

exactly—

cause your dead so...

I always hate when you get to a funeral

and there's this one

like

stationary wreath of flowers

I don't think we have to worry about

what people usually do

true

this is all about you

making your dreams come true

True, It's always about me

and, it's your special day.

We get to talk about food finally!

Yes we do!

Do you have any specific beverages

that you like

champagne?

Maybe we can do like a La Croix Fountain.

Wow

This looks so nice.

I may not do a formal sit down dinner

so like, I don't think that makes sense.

I think people can hang out

and enjoy their food.

Well, we do have one more option for you

How do you feel about a

Gold personalize Happy Meals

I'm obsessed with this

If anyone has anything to say about Shake Shack

I'll be like

It's my party and I'll die if I want to

Okay?

So?

William!

Appropriate attire for today.

I'm already mourning my death.

I love it!

So you are the

#burymeinthis

specialist

expert

stylist

So I'm sure you, being in the fashion industry

have thought about what you want to wear

on this big day

and the most important days of your life

Well,

of my death

Do you have a preference with the designers?

I love fast food,

but I'm not a fan of fast fashion.

Okay, so maybe we try a few things on

Yeah

Okay, guys.

It's been exactly a month since I've seen the ladies of Going Out In Style

and I'm so excited

to share my funeral with you.

and to see it for the first time.

We are going to Green-wood Cemetery

Because, like, if you're gonna to have to be some place forever

I cannot think of a more gorgeous place

But first,

Hair and make up.

Can you just contour me to death?

I want to look like Kylie.

I will definitely make you look like Kylie.

Does your mind play tricks on you in the silence of the room with a dead person?

I say to myself,

What was this person like?

And I'll talk to them like I'm talking to you.

Soon as you step on this earth,

you're walking towards your grave.

So you definitely should live every day like it's your last.

Just kidding

I unfollowed Will

because he's like gone

so it's just like he's

not going to add content to my life anymore.

so why live in the past?

Will would want to me to live in the future.

For some reason, I feel like he's still here.

It's like I can smell the hair spray

It's like I can hear him in falsetto singing

"You Are My Sunshine, You Are My Sunshine"

Shake Shack wrapped in gold wrapper.

Have you ever?

I have never seen anything like it.

The LaCroix fountain is so over the top.

The shirtless bartender.

So hot.

Gummy Bears my absolute favorite

and everyone is taking home a gift bag!

Next level gift bag

Diptyque candles

fidget spinners

and a T-shirt of yours truly in the front.

Wouldn't want you forgetting about me.

Well, here we are in heaven.

Just kidding.

I'm alive!

Whether you like it or not

Someone save me a Shake Shack burger.

Seriously, this funeral was to die for

It was so perfect

The ladies of Going Out In Style

did such an incredibly job

they really went above and beyond

now I can truly rest in peace

This would be the death of me

A-Line with GoPro Hero 6! - Whistler Bike Park 4K 60fps - Duration: 6:49.

I'm good to go

First ride with a hero fi.... or no sorry hero six! haha

This was filming one week before the Whistler bike park closed. I just got the hero six about three days earlier

These are the settings that I recorded this video with, I'm not too thrilled with the auto white balance

Here because of the way that the colors kind of shift around as it adjusts. So maybe I manually set white balance or even native

Might still be the best option

All right feeling pretty good

Feeling better than my first run

Yeah

All right

Just riding behind Wesley here. Conditions are so nice today, beautiful.

Let's pin it!

I've always been using the Superview mode in my videos for the last few months

So this video is going to look a little bit different since it's the Wide mode.

Oh, yeah

We're trying out the 4k 60 frames

wide mode

The first time using hero 6 on my gimbal. I did realize that the camera was pointed a little bit too far down than it

Should have been, so it can look a little bit awkward in a few shots.

The audio is coming from the Hero 4

with my Sennheiser mic

Oh frick, ok a bit over shooting there

Okay

All right, yeah, A-Line's running quite nice right now

Oh yeah, these berms suck

That felt good

better than the first run

We were like boosting, roostin'

yeah man, Boost and Roost!

Let's just do it, let's just do the lap

Get all sexy

Yeah

Alright

Really stoked on this hero 5 I have to say, er sorry Hero 6! I don't know why I keep calling it five

Hero 6, it is pretty sweet

At least the colors are way better than the Hero 5

No footer! ooh that was a pretty good no footer!

Right into the drop, Wesley just launches the whole thing! I'd love to do that

Maybe another day... Another day with a bigger bike

Alright, there's lots going good. Yeah, but if

All right

Whoo whoa get inside of me

His birth sucks poking it in there we go

Alright that is the great run down again

Whoo baby all right that was feeling great

That was so fun. Yeah, it was just a way just in case yeah, yeah

Wonder what the real a real chair guys

Yeah, that was better Oh, it's withered whoa yeah

Go

So I hope you like the video

I'm going to be posting another much longer

Video from the same footage from this day as you guys know I did get a new bike a DaVinci Wilson

And so this is actually the last day. I got filming with my narc or true acts that

Was great perfect, so enjoy it while it lasts

but after this on the next video that you'll see I will no longer be riding on mine or true acts but instead on my

DaVinci Wilson

Yeah, it's after that

You know when it goes into the open there. Yeah, I always catch up to you there. That's not even me

That's my place like I'm not breaking or anything well

yeah, I don't break either and I don't really I don't even know if I think I just read his pedal, but I

Always, just catch up to you there

GOLF TIPS FOR PERFECT GOLF SWING AND POSTURE - Duration: 5:07.

Hi everybody Danny Maude here head professional at the Canterbury Golf Club in

Kent would you like to know how to set up to

the golf ball easily every single time in a way that adds more power and

accuracy to your game I asked this question because I had two or three

clients this week who have come to the driving range to come for a lesson have

been really struggling to get their power and accuracy and they were never

going to get it with any swing thing because they're set up initially just

wasn't right so let me give you some help today I'm showing you how to get

this setup right in a way that adds some energy and power and some accuracy

to your game so the first thing that happens I find when people are setting up

to the golf ball is they they forget that they're trying to propel a golf

ball a long way down the fairway so they tend to set up a little bit limp the

legs aren't really engaged their arms aren't really engaged and what they tend to do is

they stand here like this and gradually just swing backwards and forwards and

their body tends to be flopping and moving around it's not really engaged in

it in a way that's going to add some power to this shot so the first thing I

would say very very simple is to help you get the sensation of this energy and

power in your legs so just take a golf club put it behind your back and

underneath your glutes here all right just pull upwards pull up and from here

what I want you to do is I'm going to fall forward to the point at which you

almost feel that you're gonna fall over and then just soften the knees now what

you should start to feel here is you put some tightness in your thighs some

tightness in in your glutes and you're really in the calves here really

activate it really energized compare that to watch this

it's your difference look at that there let's do that again watch this I'm

putting my glutes up activate the legs can feel a little tension on my thighs

I'm almost falling forward I'm just sitting now just lose out a little bit

with the knees push the knees this way into the ground and these are rock solid

legs are rock solid

from this position here we're really ready to strike that golf ball so you've

engaged your legs you've engaged your glutes

you're in this position here now whereby this is coming up here

you're falling forward you've engaged your thighs your glutes you're pushing

down now with your knees this way and you feel almost you've toes a grip in

the ground and you you're loaded I can feel quite a lot of tension in my in my

legs that I'm really ready now just a little check point here just make sure

that when you're doing this I've got a Lyman stick here that your feet are in

line your knees are in line your hips and light and your shoulder line as

you're doing this from here just relax let the arms just hang down here they

should be hanging beautifully from the sockets ready to play directly

underneath the chest that's what we're trying to do now this won't always feel

comfortable to start off with and you'll probably want to kind of just lose that

portion of fall back so what I suggest you do initially is just practice

hitting golf balls forgetting about where they're going just trying to hold

this position because naturally if you're not used to this it all feel very

much over the bluff you're not useless feeling you'll want to fall back into a

position that feels more comfortable and maybe have a lot less loaded tension in

there so now we're in a position here we'll go over the golf ball I'm going to

hit a few shots backwards and forwards

just like that all right so nice and simple I felt like even I moved a little

bit on that one there so not as good as I liked but again all I do here is work

on maintaining it here my body probably wants to fall backwards cuz we're hue

still let's say stay over that ball here gripping the toes into the ground and

maintaining that posture really really simple so let's summarize if you're

looking for more powerful more accurate golf shots you can set up in a very

loose Flint fashion this is often the reason why you see so many people moving

around a lot because then having engaged their body so the step one is process

put a golf club get the feelers put it under your buck cheeks here push up and

fall forward and so you feel like you're falling forward gripping the toes with

the ground here engages the legs secondly make sure that you're in line

as you're doing this to a Lima stick that you place on the ground and then

from here the third thing we're doing is just make sure your abs are hanging down

and while you practice this remember it's not easy to stay in this position

initially you're for a feel what's a bit kind of tense on my legs I'll just relax

them right what we want to do is maintain that posture through the swing

hitting golf balls not worrying about where the balls going initially just get

a sensation here we're gonna do backwards and forwards maintain the

posture backwards and forwards over and over again ignoring where the balls go

in ischl e brim if you're really enjoying this content

please subscribe to the channel really appreciate it if you've got any

questions at all please leave them in the comments box below I'll do my best

to answer them over the coming days and until next week have a great golfing

Kaizen Six Sigma - Company Improvement Suggestions - Duration: 4:45.

Hey heroes.

This week we're gonna be talking about the Japanese word "kaizen."

Now this word simply means "change for the better."

It wasn't about making changes at the company.

Initially, it was about making changes for the people, so to try and make their jobs

better.

But what they found was as they made all these small changes, it made things better for their

people.

The company became more reliable and more profits, safer, and just all around better,

so basically if you get the people closest to their problems involved, they're gonna

understand them best and they're gonna bring you the best solutions.

So this week, I'm gonna help you figure out how to get those people involved and get solutions.

Make sure you stick around to the end because I'm gonna give a sweet bonus.

Hi.

I'm Roman Ryder and on this channel, I help you unlock your powers and be the hero of

your story.

If you're new to my channel, make sure you click below and subscribe.

I put out new videos every week and you don't want to miss out.

All right, so my second day as a supervisor, I ran out to Walmart and I picked up a goldfish

kit.

I came back to my plant and I put this together and I wrote it on the side of the goldfish

bowl, "Drop your ideas in the think tank."

People thought I'd completely lost my mind, but within a matter of a short time, we had

dozens of ideas for improving the safety and reliability of the plant.

My simple little fishbowl was being presented in front of all the plant managers and all

the vice-presidents at a big corporate meeting.

So this week, I'm gonna help you figure out how to set up your own think tank.

Make sure you stick around to the end.

All right, so the first thing you need to do is get yourself some sort of clear container

and why do I say a clear container?

Well, because if you have a dark container that you can't access, I've seen places that

use a black lock box, you're gonna find out all the negative stuff people will not want

to tell you.

They're just gonna drop all that mess in there and you're not gonna get any good ideas.

Now as I always say, if you don't know about the problems, you can't fix them.

But this isn't the place where you're gonna find out about the problems.

This is where you're trying to find out ideas and solutions to problems.

So get you some sort of clear container.

As I mentioned, I used a glass fish tank the first time.

After I did that, I wasn't that wild about it.

So I actually used a plastic container next time and if you stick around until the end,

my bonus is gonna give you a great suggestion on where to get a container that will work

well for that.

All right, so the next thing you need to do is put that container in a very high traffic,

visible location.

So you want it someplace where people are always at, where maybe meetings are going

on, that type of thing.

You want to get this thing visible because you want people to see the ideas that are

in there.

You want people to see it there when they have an idea and be able to easily write it

down.

I even recommended people from outside my plant that were visiting if they had a good

idea, I had them write it down and drop it in my think tank as well.

So it's a great place to just capture ideas when people are having good discussions and

ideas come up.

All right, so the next thing you need to do is you're probably gonna have to push to get

this thing started.

So as I mentioned before, put it someplace where you're meeting a lot, where you're talking

a lot.

People come up with good ideas, say, "Hey, why don't you write that down and drop it

in the think tank?"

Now you may actually have to do it yourself the first couple of time, but once people

start seeing the ideas get in there, you'll walk in and you'll catch people digging through

and seeing what's in there and maybe adding their own idea that goes with something or

maybe writing a little something extra on a sticky that's already in there.

So you just gotta kinda get it going.

Once you get it going, you're gonna start that flow and you're gonna start to get lots

of great ideas coming in.

Then next week, I'm gonna show you how to prioritize those ideas and how to track those

ideas to keep everybody involved and see them through.

So make sure you tune in next week to see that.

All right, so now it's time for that sweet bonus and that is you can go to someplace

like Sam's and Costco and you can get a huge container of candy.

That, one, gives you your huge plastic container to use to capture all these great ideas and,

two, you've got candy now.

So what do you do with this candy?

Well, first of all, you can put some on your desk in a container where people can come

in.

They can grab some candy.

This is a chance for you to talk to them and find out what's going on in their lives, what's

going on at work, and just kind of reinforce that open door policy.

It invites people into your office.

Two, if you get a hard candy, you can stuff your pockets full of candy and you can go

take a walk and you can just use that as an icebreaker to walk up to people.

"Hey, have a piece of candy.

What are you working on?"

How's your day going?"

Whatever it may be.

It's a great way to just kind of say, "Hey, good job.

Thanks.

I appreciate what you're working on and here's a piece of candy."

So it's just a great way to get out and meet people.

If you look at the description below, I've included a link to my Facebook group, The

Hero Mastermind.

I would love to connect with you on there and help you with your think tank or anything

else you're working on.

So make sure you click on that description and come check it out.

The Number FWC Auto Rifle In-Depth Review! - Duration: 3:29.

The Number is the fantastic auto rifle from the Future War Cult that sits in the energy

weapon slot.

This auto rifle is similar to the Origin Story and Uriel's Gift which all belong to the 450

rounds per minute auto rifle archetype which are currently dominating in the current meta.

Before we talk about the performance let's have a look at the perks.

The Number has the precision Frame

Candle PS And the Flash HS5 sights

Extended Mag Ricochet Rounds and

High-impact reserves, where the bottom part of the mag deals more damage

I like to use the Flash Sight and Ricochet rounds to max out the range, which is such

an important stat for auto rifles.

If you have used an Origin Story or Uriel's Gift before you will feel very familiar with

this gun, it has very similar stats and they behave similar as well because they all belong

to the same 450 rounds per minute archetype and all have the precision frame.

This auto rifle archetype is very present in the crucible and used by all top players

because they are very consistent in their performance.

These guns are relatively stable over the max range of auto rifles and overall just

very easy to use.

And the number is the same, it is surprisingly stable and I have no problem controlling the

predictable recoil of the gun over a pretty long range.

This is just a great workhorse for any situation whether you take it to the crucible or to

pve, it just does its job well which is pumping damage into the enemy in a consistent manner.

It has enough bullets to engage in pvp against multiple enemies and you can increase this

as well with extended mag, although I would only recommend extended mag for PVE.

For Pvp you really want to increase the consistency of this gun with Ricochet rounds.

The final perk high-impact reserves is not the best perk to have , in Pvp and Pve the

increase in damage is almost not noticeable at all.

It jumps only a couple of damage points up when you reach the final bullet in the mag.

So don't rely on this to increase your DPS.

So will the number replace your Origin Story or Uriel's gift, that really depends on what

you value the most.

I prefer the Origin Story for PVE because it is so easy to proc the rampage perk because

of the vast amount of adds in PVE.

For PVP I usually use Uriel's Gift because of High Caliber Rounds, but I want to start

using a different weapon and that is where the Number comes into play.

Depending on how much you value high caliber rounds, the Number is actually a really good

replacement for the Uriel's Gift.

Sure High Caliber Rounds is the most popular perk in the Crucible, but that does not mean

that the Number is not a potent weapon to use.

Personally I will use the number more often now because I just want to use a different

gun other than the Uriel's Gift in my energy slot.

The number is a great weapon and it has everything you need in an auto rifle, it has good stability

and good range and it packs a punch, what do you want more!?

Because this gun is such a good workhorse in both Pve and PVP, I am going to give the

Number a B.

Thank you so much for watch this video.

If you enjoyed this, have a look at my origin story an Uriel's gift review videos I am sure

you will like it.

Let me know which gun you want me to review next.

With the Osiris DLC coming up there will be a lot to cover soon, so subscribe to stay

up to date on that.

And as always I will see you in the next video guardians.

Arrow 6x06 Sneak Peek "Promises Kept" (HD) Season 6 Episode 6 Sneak Peek - Duration: 1:11.

You shoulda stayed dead.

I heard you were in trouble, kid.

So I thought I'd offer my help.

My old man, he didn't save me.

Last I saw, you weren't all that concerned with saving anyone.

Apple doesn't fall that far.

What do you think?

Patricide?

He's seen our operation.

Makes him a liability.

Kid, you can have that choice.

But I'll give you another one.

Let me join you.

If I wanted a family reunion, I would've sent an invitation.

Maybe you did, but you just haven't realized it yet, kid.

See, I came all of this way to speak with you.

And I will kill anybody who gets in my way.

Because I got nothing left to lose.

Only you.

So go ahead and make a decision.
