Hello there, this is Yana Smakula for Paper Trey Ink and thank you for joining me today.

In this video I will show you how to stamp Clean & Modern looking Christmas cards that

are easy to mass produce and are mail-friendly and don't take long to make.

Sometimes I get carried away and come up with these complex handmade card ideas that look

great, but often are hard to make so for today's video I decided to make something simple and

easy to copy.

And I'd like to encourage you to pull out your stamps and inks and play and create identical

or similar cards.

I started working on this project by trimming my Stamper's Select white paper to 4 1/4 x

5 1/2 inches.

You can do your stamping directly on a front of a card if you like, I prefer to cut a panel,

stamp on a panel and later adhere that panel onto a card base versus stamping direclty

on the base of the card.

This is just my personal prefference.

I'm going to use Cutaway Tags: Winter stamp set to do most of the stamping for my cards

and I'll use this set in a way that it wasn't really designed to use.

There's a coordinating die for this set that allows you to create beautiful tags, but I'm

not going to use it today, I'm just going to use the stamp set on its own.

I picked two colors of green ink for my stamping - a lighter and darker green and I'll have

all the names of the products I am using today listed in the video description below or in

the blog post associated with this video.

If you want to use a non traditional Christmas color combo for these cards - you can definitely

do that, you'll just need to pick a lighter and darker colors of ink for your stamping.

Think about using pinks or reds or teal colors. I think that will look really great too.

There are two Holly branches in this stamp set and I'm stamping one, the larger branch,

using lighter ink color, and the other, smaller branch, using darker ink color.

The reason I picked lighter green for the larger branch is because I want my card to

have more of this light green color versus having more of the dark green.

If you want your card to be darker - use a darker ink pad color for the larger stamp

and lighter one for the smaller stamp.

I am stamping these images around the edges of my panel creating a frame so to speak,

so I am framing the white center of this panel with stamped holly leaves.

This created this illusion of a continuous pattern and makes it look like as if this

piece was cut out from a larger patterned sheet.

I am double stamping all of these images just to get a richer, brighter ink color.

These images aren't too detailed so I have no problem double stamping them using a clear

block - so Im just eye balling the placement, but you can certainly use a stamp positioning

tool if you want.

I decided not to use a stamp positioning tool for this projest since I'm doing so much stamping

and I'm stamping one image repeatedly onto multiple sections of my panel.

If I were to stamp 10 or 20 of these cards I'd definitely use my stamp positioning tool.

This stamp set has a detailed layer to the holly leaves - these are these fun dashed

lines that you can stamp in a darker ink color or you can heat emboss over your leaves if

you want to add more detail to your card.

I kept my images as is without the second layer stamping because I felt they looked

a bit more modern this way.

I will show you another card idea at the end of this video, one that features a rather

vintage look using the same supplies.

Now these branches also have berries to them and you can stamp these using red ink or again

you can heat emboss them or you can use enamel dots or gems or even little sequins.

I'm not going to stamp these berries as I know I'll use my Nuvo drops in red and will

add dimensional berries onto the card, so really there's no need to do the stamping.

I also need to create a sentiment to complete my card.

I'm using Poppy Red cardstock for this - it will go nicely together with the green colors

that I used for my stamping and I'm going to heat emboss a frame that will house a sentiment.

I'm first stamping this fun frame from the Gathered Garden stamp set - I'm stamping it

in clear embossing ink and I've already prepped my paper with an anti static powder tool to

ensure I'll have nice and clean embossed image.

Next, I'm going to add a sentiement.

I'm not heat embossing my frame just yet - I'll heat emboss everything at once to minimize

the amount of warping on my paper from all the heat.

I am using a sentiment that comes from the Very Merry stamp set - and this set has several

fun sentiments that all fit inside this frame.

I've added white embossing powder and now heat setting it with my heat tool.

Love the look of white on red - it's always a winning color combination for the Holidays.

I have a lot of that anti statci powder left on my paper so I'm going to use my pencil

eraser and will go over the paper to erase the powder, it doesn't damage my heat embossing,

but cleans up the powder nicely.

Now I just need to use a coordinating die and cut this frame out in my Platinum die

cutting machine.

I've taped the frame onto the paper to make sure its not going to move as I send it through

the machine.

And here's my sentiment frame all nice and ready.

I want to foam mount it onto the card, but I dont want to use foam adhesive, I'd rather

add a slid layer of fun foam under the frame.

To do this I'm adding strong double sides sticky to both sides of a fun foam piece I've

cut slightly bigger than my frame.

You can use Stick it adhesive or Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive Sheets or Easy Cut adhesive

from Thermoweb.

Going to place my die on top and will send this through my die cutting machine to cut.

This is not a detailed die - so it cut through fun foam and two layers of adhesive without

any problems.

I'm going to adhere my frame onto the fun foam die cut and will go ahead and adhere

that onto my card - I already created an A2 top folding card base and adhered my stamped

Holly panel on top.

All that's left to do now is add the little red berries.

I'm using Nuvo drops in Red Berry color and adding small dimensonal dots onto my card

- I feel these dots add a lot of interest to this otherwise very simple card.

Here's another card I stamped using same supplies, but slightly different technique - while the

card I shared in my video has a very clean & modern look to it, this one is look much

more vintage and is defintely done in a different style.

I heat embossed the detailed layer on the holly leaves and also blended light green

ink around the edges to darkern them up a bit and direct the eye to the heat embossed

sentiment in the center.

I personally love the Clean & Modern design better, but I know a lot of you love the vintage

Handmade Holiday Gift Guide 2017 | Whitney Sews - Duration: 3:48.

Hi everyone!

I'm Whitney and it is time again for another Handmade Holiday Gift Guide!

This is the video where I share tutorials and ideas for projects that would make great

gifts for the special people in your life.

All the tutorials I mention will be linked in a playlist you can find in the information

icon in the upper corner of the screen, as well as in the description box down below.

Ok, let's start off with a few ideas for the kiddos.

First up is the stuffed animal and doll sleeping bags I did a tutorial on back in January.

These are so cute and easy to whip up for any kids you know who have some special fluffy

friends or dolls.

My mom made these for my beanie babies when I was little and I loved tucking each of them

into their cozy little sleeping bags.

Next up is a reversible apron.

It would be great for a kiddo wanting to learn to cook or for an art time smock.

I showed how to make it in a kids size, but it can of course be made in adult sizes too.

Speaking of adults, an infinity scarf is a great gift for men and women depending on

what fabrics you use.

In my tutorial I show how to add a zipper to the scarf for a hidden pocket, but you

can leave the zipper out

and just make it a regular infinity scarf.

Another great accessory is a newsboy hat.

I just recently posted an updated newsboy hat tutorial with a easier to print pattern

than the previous one.

These hats are so fun to wear and anyone who likes hats would love to be gifted one.

Last on the list of ideas are bags.

I shared several bag tutorials this year from easy lined zipper bags to tote bags to a double

pocket crossbody bag.

All of them would make great gifts and some of them would even be perfect for holding

other gifts as well.

Özgürlük Heykeli Sultan Abdülmecid özgürlük heykelini Süveyş

kanalına diktirmek üzere Fransızlara yaptırmıştır.

Heykelin başında Osmanlı'nın 7 Kıta'nın ve 7 Denizin hakimi olduğunu simgeleyen 7

dikenli bir taç bulunur.

Ancak heykelin yerel halkta huzursuzluk yaratacağı endişesiyle, Kavalalı soyundan Hidiv İsmail

Paşa planlanan yere inşasını istememiştir.

Bayan özgürlük uzun yıllar Fransa'da atıl kalıp unutulduktan sonra, Üzerinde

çeşitli değişiklikler yapılarak antik bir tanrının silüeti kazandırılmış

ve Fransız Masonları tarafından Amerika'ya hediye edilmiş Şeytani bir sembolüdür.

Heykel, Amerikan halkına özgürlüklerinin Hristiyanların tanrısı yardımıyla değil,

bireysellikle ve diğer kültürler yardımıyla kazanıldığı mesajını vermektedir.

Zafer İşareti Bazı sembolizm uzmanları iki parmağı kullanarak

yapılan barış işaretinin İbranice'de "nail" anlamına gelen "V" harfini

temsil ettiğini söylüyor.

Nail, şeytan kardeşliğinin önde gelen isimlerindendir.

Bir bakıma parmaklarımızla "V" harfi yapmamız teknik olarak farkında olmadan

"Nail" ya da "Satan" dediğimizi gösteriyor.

Drake Albümleri Dünyaca tanınmış pek çok ünlü sanatçının

İlluminati'nin sanat alanında ki yapılanmasına hizmet ettiği biliniyor.

Bazıları tarikate bağlılıklarını tek gözlerini kapatarak çektirdikleri fotoğraflarla

ve kliplerine yerleştirdikleri küçük sembollerle belirtirken bazılarıda şarkı sözlerine

tarikat söylem ve sembollerini iliştiriyor.

İşte Drake'te bunlardan bir tanesi.

Drake'in "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" ve "Views" albümlerini incelediğinizde

birçok üçlü şeytan 6'lısına rastlayabilirsiniz.

Dolar Amerikan doları üzerindeki semboller, özellikle

piramitin tepesinde bulunan "her şeyi gören gözün" şeytanın doğumuna sebep olacak

şeytani ayine baş eğerek onay verdiğini gösteriyor.

Piramitin tepe taşı hala yerine yerleşmemiş, şeytanın doğumunun veya planının hala

gerçekleşmediğini bildiriyor, bu motif, Amerika'nın şeytanın yeniden doğuşunu

sağlamak için elinden gelen her şeyi yapıyor olduğunu göstermektedir.

Daire İçindeki Nokta Muhtemelen farkında olmadan bu sembole sürekli

rastlıyorsunuzdur.

CBS, Target ve Circular Logic gibi şirketler bu sembolü logolarında kullanıyor.

Peki bu ne anlama geliyor?

Daire içerisindeki nokta "tanrı içinde yatıyor" anlamı taşımakta, bu hıristiyan

tanrısıyla alakası olmayan bir anlam içeriyor, anlatılmak istenen tanrının insanoğlunun

kendisi olduğu yönünde.

Google Chrome Logosu Google, web tarayıcısı Google Chrome logosuna

açıkça üç altı koymuş gibi görünüyor.

Başta göremeyebilirsiniz, ancak bir kez görebilirseniz gerisini de farkedebilirsiniz,

her renk farklı bir 6 sayısını ortaya çıkarıyor.

Washington D.C. Kavşakları Washington'nun Amerikalı masonlarca kurulduğu

yatsınamaz bir gerçektir.

Öyleki parklarda çevre düzenlemelerinde binalarda ve hemen her yerde alenen mason

simgeleri kullanılmıştır.

Bunların bazıları Dupont, Logan ve Scott kavşakları.

Yerden sadece sıradan trafik kavşağı olarak görünseler de gökyüzünden baktığınızda

666 sembolünü açık şekilde görebilirsiniz.

Ayrıca pek çok çocuk parkıda Pergel ve Gönye şeklinde tasarlanmıştır.

Şu ana kadar anlattıklarım rastladığımız sembollerin sadece çok ufak bir kısmı.

Nitekim tarih kadar yaşlı olan bu şeytani tarikatler.

Binlerce yıldır yaptıkları tüm mimarilerde sembolle mesaj verme tekniğini kullanıyor.

How one Swiss hospital slashed food waste - Duration: 4:29.

Rush-hour in the kitchen of Lucerne hospital.

From 11 a.m., the 600 individual meals ordered by patients

are prepared.

Since the food waste analysis in spring this year,

the staff and managers have one goal:

to greatly reduce the 25 tonnes of waste food each month.

It's making us appreciate the value of food

and use it carefully.

It's all in the details:

When preparing strawberries, for example, not just the green part is removed,

but maybe even half of the strawberry.

It's the small details.

This way you can achieve a lot with a little.

The results were astounding:

The patients at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital produce

half of the food waste.

45% is produced by the kitchen,

while the staff leave practically nothing.

What most surprised the chefs

was the extent to which patients seem to waste liquids:

We get a huge amount of coffee and milk sent back.

Over a year this comes to 20,000 litres

that we simply destroy.

With small actions such as reducing portion sizes,

we can save 10,000 litres.

And people don't think there isn't enough coffee now?

No, not at all.

If they want a double helping they can get it sent to their room.

The other food waste figures are also considerable:

Patients leave 3,700 kg of food a month on their plates -

and almost 1,800 kg of soup and 800 kg of desserts are returned.

On average, 2,750 trays ordered a month

come back to the kitchen untouched.

Lucerne Cantonal Hospital has reacted to this problem:

For a standard breakfast, the amounts of yogurt, coffee, cheese, butter

and bread have all been reduced.

There's also less for lunch and dinner.

And not as much for dessert.

The patients haven't protested up to now.

They like being able to choose from a quarter portion up to 1.5 portions:

I think it's great that I can order like this -

not as much.

Because I'm not doing anything, I'm lying in bed the whole day,

I'm not that hungry.

I think it's wrong to throw away food on principle.

If it can be reduced like this, that's great.

To prevent food waste ending up in the bin, however

there's also a need for action in the hospital kitchen:

It produces 45% of the food waste due to over-production.

More than 10 tonnes a month.

We've clearly modified the recipes in production.

Some things are produced in smaller portions.

But we also had to give people specific training.

It was quite a challenge,

because people quite naturally prefer to make a bit more.

I'll maybe make an extra ten portions of pasta,

so there's definitely enough.

We've now trained our staff not to make as much.

It's better to make more if necessary.

Moritz Müllener from United Against Waste is supervising the

Lucerne Food Waste initiative

The catering and food industry network

is campaigning to reduce food waste.

It's clear to the expert

that the Lucerne project is unique in Switzerland:

This is a flagship project,

which should send out a signal and show

that it's possible even in a large organization,

where there are certain challenges, to achieve a reduction.

Lucerne Cantonal Hospital's aim is pretty ambitious.

The nursing and kitchen staff share a common vision:

For us, the result is clear:

We want to reduce our food waste by 30%.

So we want to save 30% of the 25 tonnes

that we produce per month.

If they achieve this goal, it would save 100 tonnes of high-quality food from

being destroyed each year at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital alone.

The next moment of truth will come next March

when the hospital analyses the volume of food waste again.

The Double Life Of Britney Spears - Duration: 4:56.

With an impressive career spanning more than two decades and more than 140 million records

sold world-wide, Britney Spears is the undeniable reigning princess of pop.

And ever since her 2007 breakdown, the troubled superstar has completely transformed her personal

life and career.

Oops…she did it again.

But just what did she do?

We've got the scoop.

"Party girl" to "homebody"

In the mid-2000s, Spears was notorious for her hard partying, which came to a head in

December 2006, when she infamously flashed the paparazzi while climbing out of a vehicle

in a mini-skirt on her 25th birthday.

By early 2007, she vowed to to clean up her act, writing on her website,

"I know I've been far from perfect…"

"I am now more mature and feel like I am finally 'free.'"

The pop star is now more of a homebody than the life of the party, and is often flanked

by her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

According to a Tumblr Q&A in July 2016, she enjoys normal hobbies, saying,

"I love to read [during my spare time]."

Just 10 years after her out-of-control 25th birthday bash, she celebrated her 35th with

a performance at Jingle Ball in Los Angeles.

Host Ryan Seacrest even surprised her with a cake as the massive crowd joined in on a

"Happy Birthday" singalong.

Spears later tweeted, "Thank you for the sweet birthday wishes!

Had an amazing day.

Love you all."

"Losing custody" to "motherhood"

Spears shares her two boys with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, but her rough transition

into motherhood coincided with her breakdown.

One of her lowest points: driving with one-year-old son Sean in her lap as paparazzi snapped photos

in February 2006.

After she was questioned by the L.A. Department of Children and Family Services, Spears defended

her parenting techniques to Matt Lauer on Dateline that June, saying,

"I did it with my dad.

I'd sit on his lap and I'd drive.

We're country."

In November 2006, she filed for divorce, and she and Federline agreed to joint custody,

split 50/50, in March 2007.

But in light of Spears' increasingly erratic and destructive behavior, a Los Angeles judge

temporarily granted Federline full custody in October 2007.

Spears now amicably co-parents with Federline, working hard to balance her busy work life

with quality time spent with her boys.

She told People in 2017,

"My kids come first, always…

I am so lucky that I get to experience all of life's adventures with them."

"Blaming it" to "owning it"

According to MTV News, the scandals of The Britney Spears of 2007 were typically followed

up with a swift pointing of the finger: at the paparazzi, her management, her bodyguard,

her publicist, her ex, you name it.

After two failed attempts at rehab, and even after completing the 30-day program at Promises

in March 2007, Spears failed to truly change her tune.

She wrote in a letter to her fans that May,

"I truly hit rock bottom.

Till this day I don't think it was alcohol or depression…

I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce."

But over the last decade, Spears has learned to manage her struggle with mental illness,

including social anxiety and bipolar disorder, which led to her hospitalization on an involuntary

psychiatric hold in 2008.

She told an Israeli newspaper,

"You've gotta be balanced in order to stay in this industry and to manage your personal

life…"

"I think I was very different back then, younger, not always knowing what's good or bad, very

instinctive."

"Bad luck" to "true love"

Spears is a "hopeless romantic" who's had a lot of bad luck when it comes to her love

life.

How about her 55-hour marriage to Jason Alexander, post-Federline.

Or Jason Trawick, alleged cheater David Lucado, or old boyfriend Charlie Ebersol?

She told the Rove & Sam Radio Show in 2016,

"I've been through horrible relationships.

But unfortunately I still believe in love."

But after telling James Corden,

"I don't believe in marriage anymore"

...She's feeling the spark again.

The pop star is currently dating Persian model and dancer Sam Asghari, whom she met in December

2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video.

Spears even used the L-word, writing of her 23-year-old beau in November 2017: "So in

love with this puppy."

"Hating her 20s" to "loving her 30s"

Spears admitted on Lorraine in September 2016,

"My twenties were horrible."

That decade leading up to her 2007 breakdown became so infamous, it went viral, from the

"Leave Britney Alone" vlog to the meme, "If Britney Spears can make it through 2007, then

I can make it through today."

In May 2007, the "Gimme More" singer attempted to take control of her spiraling life—and

bad press— in a letter to her fans on her website, in which she wrote,

"I didn't know who to go to…

I confess, I was so lost."

But these days Spears feels like she's finally in the prime of her personal life and career.

She told Lorraine,

"I'm in a really good place right now.

I'm loving myself every day and learning who I am.

So it's just … It's awakening.

It's cool."

She also told People in 2015,

"I'm the happiest I've ever been.

My priorities are straight: making family number 1 and being consistent with that and

having God in my life."
