6 EASY HOLIDAY HAIRSTYLES | Mohna Sharma - Duration: 7:02.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel holiday season is almost here

so I'm going to show you six easy holiday hairstyles and for that all you need is hair ties and bobby pins and

lets get started

First off leave two front pieces of hair down and put the rest of your hair in a low ponytail

Split the ponytail using your fingers and flip the pony through it

Repeat the same thing with the two sections from front

You can either leave it like this or tie hair elastic in the middle of your ponytail

And now start twisting it like this

Then secure the bun using hairpins and

That's it you're done

For this hairstyle take two front sections of hair and make a twisted bun.

And secure it using bobby pins

Take two sections from sides and one section from middle and make a regular braid

Once that's done fan it out to achieve a thicker look.

For this hairstyle bring two sections of hair from sides towards your back and now we will create a knot

Repeat the same thing

And our knot is done now take both the ends and bring it under your hair

Tie a hair elastic and hide this tiny Pony tail there.

Grab a section of your hair from behind your ear and do a regular braid

Fan it out a little bit take the rest of your hair and wrap your braid around it

Then secure everything with hair elastic

You can also create a messy, bun

Secure the bun using hair elastic

Now wrap your braid around the bun and this will hide the hair elastic

Secure the braid with bobby pins

Take two sections of hair from front and do a regular braid on both the sides

Bring your braids towards the back of your head and secure it with bobby pins

creating a triangular shape

The last hairstyle is a four strand braid section your hair into four different strands

Bring the first strand over

the second strand and

under the third

strand

and again

over the fourth strand

Now we'll repeat the same thing with second strand it will go over

Then under

Then over again

And continue doing it over

And under then over

Once the braid is done fan it out a little

I'm keeping my layers in place using bobby pins

I have used a Scottish plaid bow to complete the hairstyle

And that's it if you guys like this video

Lolita fashion show |ALICE and the PIRATES【eng sub】 - Duration: 5:49.

The theme is a forest where angel and devil co-exist

I hope you can check it out

I was so happy to be able to walk with Midori

We do look alike

For this tea party, since last year's party had a very colorful show

but this year it is completely different with black and white monotone combination

I am Cathy, the designer for Alice and the Pirates

From the monotone combination of black and white, I have made the theme of angels and devils

The theme is the forest where angels and devils live

We have a very story telling like theme ready,

So I hope you can enjoy it

The dress I am wearing this time is,

in the forest of angels and devils, it's the theme of forest of angels

The key for this original print is,

even though it's the forest of angels and devils, there are no pictures of angels on both

I just left the feeling of it remaining

It's something that is there but cannot be seen by the eyes is what the image is

Hi, I'm Ayaka Sugiura. This is my second time

It seems to be different from last time, with the atmosphere

I was nervous, but still was able to enjoy it

I heard the fairy was the theme this time,

Since I have a wing on the back, it's a brother of the fairy

I really like it

Thank you very much for watching

There will be more videos going up so please keep watching

Hello Midori Fukasawa

I am model for gothic Lolita

I was the first model to appear on the show with a dress like an angel

and I walked with Akira-chan

The first part was me walking around the forest

That was the hard part

I was able to wear this once on a shoot,

This item called babushka doesn't show up on other Lolita item,

It's a country girl in a good meaning

I felt it was really cute with the country taste

It's a winery design

since I really like wine

makes you want to drink

It hypes me up

If you found any interest today through this video

please come and see

Hello, I'm Ruiza from the band Lee

Since I had the opportunity to be on the Baby fashion show,

I had the chance to wear this outfit like a witch and attend

I had borrowed the dress or had the chance to wear it a few times,

so I was looking very much forward to the fashion show

I can really feel the theme, or should I say the story of the dress

Since I am in a visual K band usually, there is a connection there

so looking forward to it

I'm sure there are people who love the theme

and you will find the same feeling or find the connection

so I hope you can enjoy the dress and the fashion show of the pirates

Hello, everyone this is Akira

I have been in the tea party of Baby a couple of times,

but I was happy to be able to walk with Midori on the show again since last year

It does look similar to last year

I was happy to able to walk with Midori as a couple

I think the key point is the shorts

I usually wear long pants, so it's rare to have short pants

It was quite refreshing. The fashion genre is quite broad so please try it out

Hello to new and the usual fans. This is Sayo

Nice to meet you

I have attended this tea party and it seems like it's getting bigger every year

As everybody's outfit is getting gorgeous and more flashy

at the same time I feel I'm not doing enough but enjoying it

There are so many cute girls so I learn a lot

The key of today's outfit is the crown

When you buy this as a set, you get a flat hat,

but I had a crowning ceremony in mind, so have a crown on

I made it today, so it's far from perfect,

so please see it from far away

I have the overall in white and gold, with the crown being gold and white inside

It is uniformed

You may remember me more as a cosplayer,

but I entered this world as a Lolita

Then I started doing prince,

I am thinking of increasing Lolita once the cosplay settles down

Lynsey's Guy's and St Thomas' journey - Duration: 1:42.

I'm a paediatric intensive care nurse. Started in intensive care with the

intention of doing a year and said this would be great for my CV, do a year and

then off I go and it was just one opportunity after another. I've been here

now eight years, every time I thought oh I think I need a little break maybe I'll

step away there's been something else to step into and it's been wonderful.

It's been a good learning curve and again I thought what's next and they said well there's

a retrieval service that we run and now you've done your course you can become a

retrieval nurse. For about four years I've been doing that. I absolutely love it.

I think working with children can be very challenging and looking after

families is an extension of your role, very much a team effort and we all feel

the losses but you learn that you're trying your best for every patient and

family that comes to the Evelina. One of the strengths of the Evelina London is that the

senior staff are really there for their staff and particularly from a nursing

point of view and looking after one another and making sure that we're okay

in a very stressful and difficult environment, that we do take the time to

look after ourselves and that we make sure that we're out on time and we're okay.

Working here there is always career

progression and development and people want to invest in you

and that is what every nurse wants I think.

The support that I've had was amazing and career progression is phenomenal.

I can't imagine working anywhere else.

This has been my journey at Evelina London part of Guy's and St Thomas'.

When will you start yours?

Adam's Guy's and St Thomas' journey - Duration: 1:40.

I actually grew up in South London so when I was younger Guy's and St Thomas'

was my local hospital and when I came for an informal visit to the service the

team were really friendly they were really welcoming and thought actually I

feel like I could fit in here. I have a joint role within the at home service so

I do part of my time as a practice develop nurse, supporting staff with their

education and development through their career and making sure that the training

is appropriate for the service and I'm also a clinical nurse practitioner doing

frontline patient care keeping people out of hospital or getting them out early.

I had worked in cardiac critical care for the majority of my career.

I had decided I wanted a bit of a change and I was a band 5 staff nurse when I left critical care.

I've actually progressed up to a band 7 nurse practitioner so I've gone

through the motions within the Trust and they've supported me at every step of the way.

Guy's and St Thomas' has got world-renowned reputation so that opens

lots of doors, I've had the opportunity to go to conferences I wouldn't have

perhaps had in my other trusts and they just give you what you need to do.

And if there's a course you need to fulfill that they'll find a way of sending you on it.

London's got everything you want to offer, there's

just loads of opportunities and the good thing about London is because you've got

transport linked to pretty much anywhere it's really easy to go further afield if you want to.

And jobs wise it's, it's kind of, you know, the place to be to get a career.

This has been my journey at Guy's and St Thomas'. What will yours be?

Le Cercle By Mab'ish #16: Kaidi Tatham - The Extrovert City - Duration: 9:47.

Hello ! Welcome to Mab'ish's Circle !

For this 16th episode, I wanted to talk about a colorful record:

THE EXTROVERT CITY from Kaidi Tatham

released in 2016 on the label 2000 Black

This is also an opportunity to talk about the Broken Beat scene!

Kaidi Tatham is a British multi-instrumentalist artist

and truly a virtuoso who collaborated with several artists!

He is mainly associated with the Broken Beat scene

using different aliases such as Agent K, Shokazulu or Shox.

As an example, Agent K it sounds like this:

Mister Tatham is a very productive artist who released more than 20 EPs or albums on different labels

Eglo records, 2000 black, or Sound Signature….

Sound signature do you remember ? We talked about this label in a previous episode that was focused on Detroit

I discovered Kaidi Tatham in 2003 with the track "Got Me Puzzled". I actually still play this track

Kaidi Tatham is a member of Bugz In The Attic collective, a key actor within the Herbaliser band

and involved in many collaborations with Dego of course

as well as Silhouette Brown and groups like 4 Hero, Afro Force or Likwid Biskit (along IG Culture).

And the list goes on, there is actually a lot...

I have to tell you about his Henry Wu's remix for the track Just Negotiate whom I am totally into…

Remember, I danced on this track for the first episode!

That's it, it wraps everything up!

Outstanding pianist; Gilles Peterson calls him "the most talented keys player" in United Kingdom.

You can hear him during live performances such as jazz re:freshed.

Those nights happen on Thursdays on Portobello Road,

getting together the jazz scene with the new Londoner generation.

Kaidi Tatham & Mark de Clive Lowe are some of the pioneers, performing there quite often.

He is a talented DJ as well putting together different styles.

He does not hesitate to add synthesizer notes to enhance his sets.

Just for the pleasure, here is an excerpt of a studio session in which he plays a J Dilla track…

I decided to focus a little bit on Broken Beat here,

because this is a little known musical genre although one of my favorite !

By the way, the documentary BROKEN VIBES tells a really good story about Broken Beat!

Broken Beat appeared in London in the end of the 90s with pioneers

such as IG Culture, 4hero, Bugz in The Attic, Afronaut, Kaidi Tatham, Daz I Kue, Domu, Mark de Clive Lowe among others …

This is an extension of Jungle that already mixed live instruments with machines.

It came to the surface in West London where the Goya label as well as many artists were based at the time.

This genre is actually labeled as "West London".

Broken Beat mixes several styles like jazz fusion, hip-hop, funk, house, jungle, electro, Soul…

so why "Broken" ...means "cassé" in french

it is for this very pronounced rhythmic ans this syncopated aspect.

That is what brings this very special energy in clubs

an aerial sound with a BPM close to House music, broken tones reminding of Hip Hop with this grounded energy…

Anyway, it's great for dancing and working on energy changes!!

Broken Beat's golden age ran through 2007.

Its biggest commercial successes are Bugz In The Attic's "Booty La La" and the remix "Hold it Down"

This underground movement evaporated in the late 2000s, however we can notice a revival within the few past years!!!

As a matter of fact, the comeback of the famous CoOP sessions,

who initially were an aficionados' gathering every Sunday

between 2000 and 2007 in London's neighborhood Shoreditch

CoOP sessions had 2 boiler rooms, one in 2015 and the other in 2016.

It started again this year in March 2017 in Hoxton Basement and you won't believe it:

I attended this party … and I think it was probably one of the best parties in my entire life..!!

First of all, the English crowd is very expressive… nothing to see with the French crowd ^^ !!!

The party takes place in a basement where the walls ooze quickly so people dance their ass off…

People dance and dance, dancers or amateurs, they don't care.

Everybody is there just to express themselves on good music !

While major artists keep doing their thing, this musical family enriches itself with a new generation of artists

such as EVM 128, N'tek, Henry Wu, or K15….

Let's get back to our topic : Kaidi's EP.

The Extrovert City is a perfect EP mixing Broken, Hip Hop and Jazz influences.

It includes 3 killer tracks: "The Extrovert City", "The Shadow Ain't Going Nowhere", "Mister Seahorse"….

…. that is now scratched because I played it so much…

if you listen carefully, you will hear Kaidi's daughter laughter he sampled for that track.

This EP came out last year, in 2016 on 2000 black.

It is a Reinforced Records sublabel, founded in 1998 by Dego of 4Hero.

Inspired by Roy Ayers' lyrics 'Think About the Future, Think About Change', it claims for "groove".

There is more than 60 releases on this label

among them Lordamercy & Dego EP that I actually discovered in Marina Trench's last radio show

on 'Le Mellotron', spun by her guest Kaffé creme !

Hi guys!!!!!

We now come to the dancing part, Broken Beat baby ! Let's go!

Grace's Guy's and St Thomas' journey - Duration: 1:39.

I'm a prostate cancer nurse specialist. I've been at Guy's Hospital for 14 years

my role is mainly to support the patients through their cancer journeys

so from diagnosis, that is being told they've got cancer to living with

cancer to living beyond cancer. I started as a band five, did rotation in renal and

urology decided urology was my field so I did a lot of bladder cancer, kidney

cancer and testicular cancer. The department grew so I did a management

job for a few years then decided I just needed to branch out a little bit just

to gain confidence in my role so I decided to be a ward manager for about four years

which was just totally amazing. Then decided, okay now I need to specialise.

What made it easy to settle in all those jobs was the support from

my managers and I've had clinical supervision through it all.

Academically they've been there through it all so I'm not doing a job due to my years or due

to the people I know, I'm in a job where I've got the skills to do it.

I think it's because I've had amazing managers and that's why I am where I am.

There's always opportunity, I think that's what keeps me going because it's good, it's

amazing, the support is just phenomenal.

This is my Guy's and St Thomas' journey. What will yours be?
