Waching daily Jun 27 2018

Welcome, to a new era of Overwatch.

Yes my friends, the new patch is here, and with it, a number of very significant changes

that look to re-shape the landscape of this game.

In today's video, I want to talk about why it is indeed such a big deal to Overwatch.

Because you see, it's not always just about the immediate effects in the game itself,

but also about what it does outside the game and how it is going to affect it in the long

run.

I've spent a fair few hours playing on the new patch last night and we went from this:

"You know how people said, like, 'No joke, Season 10 is the worst'?

Uh, Season 11 Omegalul."

"Yeah, yeah.

Blizzard took it as a challenge."

"Yeah, Blizzard took it as a challenge."

"Challenge accepted."

to that: "Alright lads, have a good evening."

"Alright, thank you!"

"Yeah, I'm gonna get off, too.

Thanks guys!"

"Thanks!" really fast.

First off, yes, the new Symmetra is a massive deal.

She absolutely challenges our idea of how this game is supposed to be played and she

absolutely messes with a lot of the things that we learned up until now.

But don't forget- It's just been the first day of Symmetra 3.0 being live.

She makes the game feel so fundamentally different that we need to take some time to figure out

what even is going on.

So all I'm saying is- It's a bit too early to call whether or not she is broken.

We have to get used to it first.

What we didn't need a lot of time to get used to is the introduction of the Looking

for Group Feature.

To me it felt like a lot of people were taking advantage of that feature, and it showed.

6 stacking queue times got shorter and shorter the later in the evening I was playing, and

difference between going solo and playing in LfG stacks is absolutely massive.

But you know, I can sit here and talk about how much better my games were- Or..

I just show you.

Because I went for both of the styles of playing last night.

First, here is a clip of me Duo Queuing with my friend.

Nobody wanted to play Tank so we have picked up Reinhardt and Zarya.

Our team doesn't know how to play their heroes, they go in one by one to feed and

people were getting pissy about about everyone participating.

Nobody even attempted to play real Overwatch.

After a couple frustrating hours of doing that, I decided to end the evening off trying

out LfG with almost an entire stack of random people over having 3 to 4 of my own friends

in it.

And this is what happened.

We won 3 straight games in a row, everyone was trying their hardest and we even had a

very pleasant time in voice chat.

Nobody got pissy, we talked about hero swaps and even when we didn't run meta comps,

our play was way more coordinated than it otherwise would've been.

What the LfG Feature allows us to do is finding like minded people.

I called my Lobby "Tryhard or Kick" and guess what- There are plenty of people who

want to tryhard and play real Overwatch, even in Quick Play.

And it's not like it attracted a bunch of toxic ranked players, as some of you might

assume.

All of them have been really pleasant individuals who just wanted to play real Overwatch.

And yes, we were all locked into our roles.

Even though most of the people had hidden profiles turned on, because that's the default

option for it, we didn't have any problems coordinating what we wanted to play.

And you know why?

Because we asked each other what we wanted to play.

Hey, I'm a Zenyatta One Trick and I'd like to play Zenyatta.

No problem, my co gladly picked up Main Support for the team and we didn't need to start

stalking each others profiles.

And don't forget- That's in Quick Play.

The whole stereotype surrounding the idea that nobody cares in Quick Play?

Yeah, that's a load of bull.

I mean, we knew that before, right?

That there are people who would like to play properly, even in Quick Play.

Just because it's more fun.

And it didn't even take 2 minutes for me to fill out my group with a bunch of like

minded players who were all willing to participate in the same kind of gameplay.

When it comes to Competitive Play- Here I have to rely on anecdotes, but according to

my friends aswell as some posts I have read, it looks like the same holds true.

The quality of matches in an environment where everyone decided ahead of time what they wanted

to play has been significantly better.

Who thought that giving someone the peace of mind of only playing the one role that

they want to play while being able to rely on the fact that everyone else picks up the

other roles necessary would be a good idea, eh?

Yeah, I know, the sample size is really small.

It's just been out for a day and all, but I just wanted to illustrate that the positive

effects in the game are immedient.

If you just use the LfG tool the right way, there is really no reason not to use it.

But it doesn't stop there.

I spent some time going through the forums, reddit, discord, comment sections and chatrooms-

And I've been finding a lot of posts thanking Blizzard for finally implementing this feature.

For the first time ever, I have seen more people say something along the lines of "This

might actually save the game" than something like "This game is dead".

Just think about that.

We've been complaining for upwards of 6 Seasons now about how this and that is broken-

And..

Yeah, they were.

And things are still broken.

So the fact that we have so many people go out of their way to leave a positive comment

about the new Feature speaks volumes for the turn the community is taking.

And stuff like that is very important from a community management perspective.

If you manage to paint a more positive picture, then that's obviously gonna be great for

your game.

Now, one thing that I don't believe this is necessarily going to fix is high ELO gameplay.

You see, for one, high ranked players, more often than not, are absolutely convinced that

they know everything about the game that there is to know.

Even when they talk straight outta their ass.

So with them believing that stacking puts them at a disadvantage when it comes to trying

to farm ELO, I don't see LfG being used a lot up there.

I mean, next to the fact that people are still made fun of when playing in bigger stacks

up in GrandMaster.

Which, to me, is absolutely ridiculous.

However, one thing that could be a problem on an objective level is that there are..

Well, not that many players up in high rating.

So the allegation that the matchmaker does some very funky stuff when grouping isn't

exactly coming outta thin air.

I mean, even when you go solo, you are not safe from it.

Back when I was actively competing in low GM, I could spend an entire evening bouncing

between 3600 Average and 4200 Average Games.

And from what I have seen on livestreams, even being higher in rating doesn't protect

you from wild fluctuations like that.

Which begs the question as to why one should even bother trying to grind into GrandMaster

when the matchmaker just gets worse the higher you get.

But yeah, that's pretty much the video.

Honest to god, I didn't plan to upload anything today, but I woke up this morning just really

feeling like sharing my excitement, my worries and my experience with you guys.

So why don't you do the same?

Drop down into the comment section below and tell us about your experience with the new

LfG System.

I'd be really curious to hear if you had similarly positive stories to me.

But until then, this is me done for the day as I talk about what I believe to be a new

era of Overwatch.

Thank you everybody so much for watching, don't forget to drop me a like on your way

out if you enjoyed the video, subscribe if you wanna see more, and maybe share this video

with a friend you think would find it interesting.

Thanks again for watching, and I hope to see you all next time.

SeyyahArt Bardak Çizip Satarak Dünyayı Geziyor - Duration: 26:08.

Hi, I'am Berk Armagan I was born in 1997 and live in a Halkalı.

I am the last generation who grows up in the streets of Halkalı and this is important.

I study Turkish teaching at Istanbul University.

'We realized' my ability to draw at the age of 10.

I say that 'we did' because because my teacher's was the reason I noticed it.

I have now created the Seyyahart idea and I am traveling the world by drawing a glass.

Everything started in May 2016 when my parents wanted to send me to the English course.

I will go to a language course in England.

Documents we've set everything up, money, and bla bla...

I applied for visa and visa rejected twice.

That cost me 1600 liras..

I learned english by myself.

You can learn English by losing your money and bad experience sometimes will be good teacher for you.

I visited 36 cities in 19 countries by drawing and selling glasses.

Before I went to Europe, I searched Europe's history, cultures, structures.

I prepare myself according to this

but currency make me trip and

This put paid my dreams.

I had to turn my route to the Balkans and Ukraine.

Because it is very cheap compared to Europe.

I buy a ticket for my route.

It was a quick decision..

After that I couldn't make a plan to this places that I would draw..

For example, when I was visiting Skopje, I saw the Great Alexander Statue.

I drew it after I had traveled.

I thought that I can take these photo when I sit the cafe I will draw it.

Because I did not know before..

But Mostar was not so, it is a beautiful building.

It is also important in terms of our history.

I made Mostar's drawing beforehand in Koçevi.

And it was a provide great convenience for me because

I was limited when I went there..

By the way I photographed and recorded..

My purpose is to draw the symbols of the cultural or city where I will go.

I do my drawing before I go there and

When I go I try to take photo video..

I usually provide transportation by hitchhiking.

But when I went to Europe, I got the Interrail ticket and I used train by means transportation there.

I can use buses and steamers in places where there is no hitchhiking and train,

But this is only in an emergency.

General motto is already cheap to travel..

I've been drawing since I was 10 years old.

I can draw on every surface I'm not limited to just a cup..

now,I'm telling the story of the cup idea

I wanted to maked a gift for his birthday

First,I wanted to use my skills

When I gave a sold about the things she likes

she likes coffee so much

I prepared a gift for her and it started like this

then I went to coffee shop and ask for a glass

and I'm grateful they gaved me one

and I thought about things she likes and I painted into the glass

Then I gaved to her as a gift and she likes it

She shared this on social media and his friends liked it too

I thought that when I do not have money I can give you such a gift.

I had a friend's birthday again

I gave gift and there was a movie he liked so much

I made that movie like a story and draw a glass

Then his girlfriend loved this gift too and she also wanted a glass from me

and she also wanted a glass from me

and I gave him a gift and it was very nice

İt continued this way

I have had the dream of "traveler idea"

with my trips taught me and my ability

the idea of traveling the world by drawing glasses

I decided to buy 67 00:05:01,255 --> 00:05:06,415 these 12 glasses that I draw near the Şişhane Railway Station..

That day I see I can sell

The glass by this way I understood that people give importance to this work and

I realized that I can travel by that way

And I can really sell glasses and travel around.

%80 percentages of my trips happen thanks to money that I eon from the glasses.

Actually because of some urgent problem these %20 percentages occured.

In these days I had a tooth problem.

Because if this I had to take an expensive plane tickets and

The %20 percentages concern that tickets

I had to return to Istanbul because of my toothache.

I was not examined here because meet a doctor 75 euro

check 279 Euro

there is no money.

I have come across some trouble but I won't give up.

I will go on...

I sell glasses in instagram, I do drawing if requested

I deliver these glasses to people by cargo

I can sell glasses when I travel

I learned that when I went to Europe

I did not sell the glasses in the Balkans, the weather was very cold

I could not wait on the street

But in Europe especially in Norway, I waited on the street, it was very crowded

I tried to sell my glasses, I wrote cardboard writings

I say 'I am traveling the world, If you buy from my cups I can travel more country'

I waited a while but the glasses were not sold.

Later I realized that

Begger put a glasses on their front and people give money

When I put the glasses in front of me they also give me money too

I learned why.

they don't buy and gave money

I understood

They suppose that I am a begger

Me! I am an 'artist' !

One day while I was selling a glasses in Norveç in train

beggar came to me

He asked me if you would like sunflower seeds

I didn't say anything

He looked me,

over over again

and say:, What are you doing here and I answered his questions with my 1600liras English :))

I said:I sell glasses

He gave me money and

throw into cup

I said:what's going on!!

I thought by myself what a different country is it begger give money to artist

Then I collect 100 crown to get a bread

I couldnt sit anyehere and draw something for 7 or 8 hours

it is not suitable for me because of the financial problem

If I have enough money I can do this but now I need money

Because of my budget I have to be quick

First I planned everything then I take the road and I make my drawings according to my plan

I went to the Louvre in Paris

You know:Why are you going to the Louvre

For Mona Lisa,I did it

I had drawings already to affect people

People are often influenced by very popular painting in the museums

Like Mona Lisa,Scream..

I went to Paris to see Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum.

I did the drawing at the hotel before I go

When I go there I saw that there is a long queue

I surprised that how can people look this from there

Then while I thougt how can I took photo of Mona Lisa

then I find myself

in front of the queue.

People took my photo from my back and I tried to take photo in that stiuation

I was trying to take photo at the time

Know what goes:Even if you are the front side

there is a distance

I entered the first row immediately

I tried to take permission from security guard but I coudn't achieve.

I have to accustomed to every situation.

I bring the glasses closer to the Mona Lisa

I'm trying to shoot video and the peoples photos flash coming from my back

The prouds of that moment I took my photo and went out

I think drawing such a great artist perfect works and took their jobs photos

in 5-6 hours is a things to proud of

Because I don't have such a big experience before

I do these things with my efford

And I don't sell these glasses

Because I had tought to open an exhibiton

And I keep these glasses for myself at my house

I am proud of my art

I want to tell you about a story that has affected me so much

There was a girl with cancer

She made a drawing a picture in the last stages of his cancer

There was a representation of nature in her painting

A yellow tent in the picture, under the stars

Drawn a mountain picture in the forest

The girl has painted it

This picture reminds me

of hope

And also freedom

After seeing this picture I decided to do a social responsibility project

I have been doing social responsibility projects before but

I imagined a project about children with cancer

I wanted to draw pictures with them

I want to draw their pictures on the glass surface

I want to sell those glasses to my followers,

donate the money

I usually use tent to lodge

I stay in a hostel when I am not staying in a tent or

I'm at the people's home I found in Couchsurfing.

I have strange memories of living in this accommodation experience

One day I could'nt find a place to stay in Denmark, in nightfall

I found a place where people do not exist

İt was not a comfortable place but I still set up a tent

I thought:maybe someone could see me

Then I went to sleep

I wake up with a sound

I thought druggie came

Police came and told me; that set up tents here is forbidden, go away!

I said:I'm going right now but

I was very scared at the moment this is first time

So what,I set up a tent, I do not bother anyone

I was trying to pack my warw, the police came again

Shaking the tent I said:what the hell, let me off

I said:one minute,ı will go

Then off the tent

There was mud because it was raining yesterday

I dismantled a tent in mud

It was such a memory about police

Then I stayed at a hostel in Berlin

Hostel was like a horror house

One nigt I have go to the bathroom

I saw a woman on the way to bathroom The woman has a socks on her feet, a thin white hair woman

I scared.

I thought:why walk on foot without slippers

I am afraid of encountering that woman

I could'nt leave the room, I left immediately in the hostel in the morning

What did I do to you?! You got me out of here

I stayed on the side of the park

Then the cops woke up

I usually don't take food to places I go but

When I went to Norway I got some food because according to rumors Norway is expensive city

For example:the price of hamburger in Norway is 50-60 TL

I prepared myself

I had nuts and canned in my bag so bag was heavy.

I bought food from supermarkets

For example;I bought banana, peanut..

I eatsomething a little

because I think of my budget

What can you do in Norway

You can taste the foods everytime

you can only taste it one or three times thats all

One day it is a beautiful day or a bad day

I reward myself and I taste local flavors

when I went to Ukrain

I get upset in Norway because I couldn't try whales meat there

I couldn't eat something special there are so expensive but I will eat traditional food when go there next time

like beef meat

but I couldn't eat, anyway

one day I went to a restaurant

the glas I was drawing was on the desk

I reviewed the photos on the camera

after I rise my head

I could'nt find a glass, I was excited

I asked to waiter: where is my glass?

Waiter said:I threw it away, what on earth have you done?

I spent five hours trying to make that glass idiot, sure, I didn't tell waiter nothing

How do you threw a garbage?

I got so angry there

I went, I found a glass in the garbage, thank god nothing bad happened

Glasses should'nt get wet

Fortunately,were not soaked

I have had a few experiences like this, I have forgotten the glass and thrown away

I have such a problem

We can say art for my glases really

I give a lot of effort and you throw them away

This is a great disrespect, what are you doing!!

Now fire show starting, you will see fire show in coffee shop

Especially,I am very impressed some countrys

I want to talk about Norway

İmagine that the most expensive houses 241 00:16:53,780 --> 00:16:55,559 in İstanbul by the seaside come together

inside,their neighborhoods like this

really no walk between them and no people

everyone is doing sports there

you see people doing sports or walking

a few people

In Norway, the city is in harmony with nature and it was very influential to me

Another city that impressed me is Venice

imagine the road and the asphalt. There is water instead of asphalt.

this water is being transported

think, you're taking a sea bus, going to work or going to the school

these people really only have access to this raceway

and it was very influential to me

also, and when I went to Poland the concentration camp was very influential to me

it was just as I see it in movies

I have had the opportunity to personally see how the Nazis have tortured people.

it affected me very much,badly

It's really bad that people have experienced something like this.

I was wandering in the streets during the day

so I was always in touch with people.

That's not a big deal for me because I am an extrovert person.

I can start a conversation any time

and ask for an address and learn it.

Sometimes it goes beyond just asking for an address.

Sometimes I become friends with them and start to wander in the streets with them.

For example, I met Emil, he is from Denmark

normally I was looking for a place in Norway but I asked him

I am looking for a place, do you know such kind of place?

I told him that I am painting and I am going to paint that place too

I left him and started to look for the place I was going to go

I noticed that he was coming with me instead of talking to other people

He yelled at me, hey man come back where are you going

he said, let's paint together, I paint too

I said, ok man let's do it

I found you here

Then the conversation started on to what to paint

He sees the trolls there just like me

I met Emil here, he paints too

Now we will paint some Troll

We will draw this, the hitchiker troll

We sat at a gift shop

He chose one troll, I chose one

We started painting and we painted about half an hour together

then we seperated

my drawing areas are not certain, generally I draw in many areas

I draw while I am waiting at the airport

or on the train with all the bumps and trembles

I just start drawing

or I draw on the bus

I draw under the dim light or in a tent

I turn all the conditions to my advantage

and I draw, I have to use my time properly

ı try to make good work in a little time

ı spend my days like this

travelling thought me a lot

I learnt better than what school can teach me

I have seen so many Works of art in so many sizes

and I learned so much about culture

I have seen the Works of great artists in their places

It was really a big deal to me.

there was once this course ı wanted to take

but ı didnt have the Money

ı couldnt take the class because of my financial problems

this affected my life in a very different way

with this drawing, Seyyahart

ı gained a full scholarship fort his course

this helped me to gain my self esteem

Not just the course

but all of the experience as a whole

after i see the rest of the World i want to see the mars now

I will go to mars

yes i will g oto mars with drawing glasses

i don't have an obstacle in front of me

i will email to Elon Musk and say, i am drawing glasses, help me get to mars

i will look at the World from mars and paint it to a glass

this is my dream

my advice to travellers is this, think of something real

start your journey with this thought so that you don't have any troubles

make your budget, plan your route

but don't plan the whole thing

but you should have a general plan, then you can change it

but try to predict everything

people will want to help you

but don't depend on that only

thats a bad plan if you ask me

think everything thoroughly and start your journey

if you come across to a bad situation then ask for help

then people will of course help you, road has good things with it

you don't need a lot of Money to travel like that

when you make your plan

and keep your budget low, then you can travel with a low budget

i provide my budget with painting glasses

i have a gift for that and i use it

you can have some other idea, i don't know

you can even learn a craft while you are travelling

some people make bracelets to earn a living

you can earn Money and travel at the same time

if you earn extra Money then ypu save the day

you can even save some Money an keep it for the emergencies

i was really impressed by a pizza i ate in Ukraine

although i went to Italy, I remember the pizza I ate in Ukraine

it was a pizza with chicken, i don't remember the name

the best pizza i have ever had was the one in Ukraine Lviv

the dessert i have ever had was the tiramisu in Rome

it was somewhere called Pompei

it was wonderful and i never had tiramisu since then

it was like the peak of all

i think the most livable place is Norway

because of its people, nature and city life

It was a good place as a whole

and they made the city a good place to live

and they are good people too

you may not accept it or some people may not accept it

In Serbia

i found the people very good in a very interesting way

it was opposite of what people said.

I am in the social media under the name Seyyahart

the glasses i draw, the places i saw

all of this information

can be found on my social media, you can follow me there

follow if you like or not

what can i do sometimes

i believe i do something nice, i produce wherever i go

and i present the places i see in a different way

it is up to you whether to follow or not

Budgeting For Beginners (BUDGETING 101) - Duration: 6:50.

Struggling with finances and being on a vicious cycle can be extremely stressful.

The main reason why this happens is because people don't budget.

But on this video, you'll learn how to budget successfully and start today.

Make sure you stay tuned till the end because I'm going to give you the most important thing

you need to know about budgeting.

For the best advice on side hustles, budgeting, and more, be sure to subscribe to my channel,

and hit the bell to be notified when I post a new video every Wednesday.

Not having the finances to do what you want can take a toll on you.

Trust me, I know.

But with these budgeting tips, I was able to pay off my car, pay off my credit cards,

and also save money to move cross-country.

Here are the five things you need to know about budgeting.

The first thing you need to know is what budgeting actually means.

Well, let me break it down to you nice and easy.

Budgeting is when you decide you want to spend less than what you make each month.

The benefits of budgeting is that you're way more organized.

This is especially awesome when tax season comes around.

You just basically have to submit your paperwork because you've already done the hard work

of listing everything for your tax attorney or tax person.

You also pay off your debt faster, and you can also invest in your future.

If you want to open up a business, invest in your education, or even start building

your retirement fund, you'll be able to do that with no stress.

This is something I wish I would have known as a kid because growing up, the budgeting

doesn't seem like the cool to learn how to do.

But, little do you know that it's going to basically affect you for the rest of your

life if you have bad habits with spending money and not saving it for emergencies, learning

how to build your credit, and things of that sort.

Which brings me to my next point.

Out of curiosity, did your parents teach you how to budget?

If so, just comment, "Yes" or, "No" below.

The second thing you need to know is why budgeting is important.

The reason why budgeting is so important is because it helps you take control of your

finances.

Let's face it, prices on everything, from food to housing, to college tuition, is rising

all the time, which leaves you with very little room to be careless with your money.

To get started, the first thing you have to do is write down your monthly income after

taxes, and also jot down your monthly expenses.

If you don't usually keep receipts, you can just go back to your bank statement, or you

can just write a rough estimate because it's just going to be for that first month.

Now, moving forward, you're going to be more aware of what you spend so you can always

adjust that later on.

You can use a notebook, Excel sheets, Google sheets, or a budget planner to do this.

The third thing you need to know about budgeting is how to break down your expenses.

I know that I had mentioned that you have to write your monthly expenses.

But when you do write them down, I suggest that you do it in this form because it's going

to be a lot easier for you every month.

I break down my expenses in two categories.

The first is fixed expenses.

This is rent, phone bill, anything that is going to be due on a consistent monthly basis.

The other category that I put them in is variable expenses.

Variable expenses are expenses where the amount usually changes every single month, so like

grocery shopping, gas, clothes shopping, going to the movies, restaurants.

It's going to sting just a little bit, but I promise it's going to worth your time, totally

your time.

Because now you're going to get to take control over your money.

How cool is that?

Sorry, I got a little too excited.

Now, it's your turn.

If you can please comment below and tell me, when did you realize you needed to start budgeting?

The fourth thing that you must know about budgeting is that you must monitor your spending.

Let me give you an example so that you can understand when you're overspending.

All right.

Let's say that your monthly income is $3500, but your expenses are $3000 a month.

That means you're not overspending.

You have an excess of $500 that you can either pay off your bills with or put in a savings

account, right?

If your monthly income is $3500 but your expenses are $4000, then that means you're overspending

by $500, and you need to take a look at your budget to either adjust it or cut a few things

off that you may not deem very necessary and you can live without.

Now that you've written down your monthly income, you've written down your expenses,

and now you know whether you're overspending or underspending, now it's time for you to

decide how much you want to save per month.

This is going to be something that's very important because it's going to decide your

monthly budget.

Let me give you an example.

For me, what I did was automatically deposit 30% of my paycheck into my savings account.

The reason why I did it so aggressively is because I had a timeframe and I knew that

I wanted to move to Los Angeles.

What did that mean for me?

No more partying, no more going to the movies, no more eating out at least for a while.

But it felt so good when I met my goal and I was able to move cross-country and not depend

on anyone financially to do so.

With that said, most people, what they do is they start with 5-10% and putting that

away in their savings account.

It really is up to you, like what your goals are, what your timeframe is.

Ready to hear the most important thing you need to know about budgeting?

The most important thing you need to know about budgeting is that you have to make a

budget every single month.

You cannot rely on doing it once and assuming that that's going to be your budget for the

rest of the year.

There are so many things that can happen along the way.

Maybe you are done paying a credit card bill and now you can adjust your budget to maybe

save up more money, or maybe you just want to buy something that you didn't have the

opportunity to do so because you were busy paying off that credit card first.

There are so many variables to it.

If you really want to succeed at budgeting, then you have to, have to, have to, I don't

know if I emphasize this enough, you have to make sure that you budget every single

month.

It's also going to make sure that you're set up to succeed and make sure that everything

is running smoothly.

I think that the first month is always the hardest because your guesstimating what your

expenses are since you didn't previously save your receipts and didn't really have a lot

of numbers to go by.

But, as you move along, it's going to be so much easier for you.

Just give yourself some time and check with yourself every once in a while, and really

think, "Do I really need to go out to this restaurant today?"

Now you know exactly why budgeting is important and how to get started.

If you also want to learn how to make more money fast so you can add to your savings

account, then go check out my last video, where I talk about easy side hustles.

The Making of Athleisure Apparel - Duration: 3:59.

hi guys I'm summer from BELLA+CANVAS and today's video is about athleisure

apparel what's your favorite Bella Canvas style to workout in let us know

in the comments section below today were at Box Union they're an awesome boxing

studio right here in Santa Monica and they're gonna show us everything that

goes into making branded workout apparel my name is Chris McDonald I'm the

director of marketing at Box Union box union is a 45 minute fitness boxing

workout we combine mind body music and boxing we wanted to create something

that was welcoming and fun and invited everybody we wanted everybody to feel

welcome here we first started we actually had a variety of different

merchandise we started with some private label merchandise and then we also

purchased outside brands as the Box Union movement started to spread we

found that more and more people wanted to wear box Union and we're really proud

to be a part of this community so when we first started looking for brand and

merch it was actually really difficult for us because we do have a very fashion

forward looking clothing and we had a hard time for the quantities that we

needed to find the bodies that we were looking for people want to look great

and we wanted to provide them with something with our name on it

where they could sweat in they could hang out in and they could go have lunch

with their friends and feel equally beautiful when we found Bella canvas it

was a total game changer for us the fast fashion line was exactly what we were

looking for the colors were so chic it had a ton of different bodies that we

can choose from it had crops that we could provide it had long Tings and they

were so easy to print on so the minute we started using Bella canvas we pretty

much use them bare on out branded merch is so important to us because we're

creating a movement box Union is a community people don't just come here to

work out they come here to meet their friends and feel good and stress release

on the bag it's an escape from everyday life when people wear a merch out in the

world other people asked him about it we had people from all over the world ask

about purchasing our cropped hoodies we design everything internally and

was really difficult for us to find a printer that could bring our vision to

life family industries was a total god-sent for us we love working with

Nick he really helps us bring our vision to life

anything from providing feedback on the sizing how big we want to print what

techniques are out there if we want to do something in foil if we want to do

something in gold if you want to do a basic wash I've learned more about

printing in the last year than I ever knew in my entire life

and it's all from Nick taking the time to actually sit down with us and not

only do the work but educate us as well our boxers definitely want to sweat but

they also want to look good while they do it

I think I look for comfortability and clothes that I workout in I look for it

to be trendy but also breathable because I sweat a lot I think we both sweat a

lot I think when we see people out on the street wearing box Union it's like

that like community feel like we connect eyes lock eyes and we know we're from

the same home absolutely I mean our tagline is together we box over here we

build all of those relationships for me I grew up playing basketball so you know when I

see someone wearing like my team color my team jerseys just like the coolest

feeling ever it like we're you know I'd just had a part of a family and part of

a team I typically wear my like BELLA CANVAS before and after class so it's

more like for me like I like the cropped hoodies because when I walk in I look

like I'm wearing like a super cool outfit all right now into our element

let's take it to the bag

we hope you guys liked that video let us know what you thought of it in the

comments below and be sure to give it a big thumbs up we left all the relevant

info in the description and we'll see you next week

Jamie Foxx Interviews Benicio Del Toro || OFF SCRIPT a Grey Goose Production - Duration: 8:36.

- Bro, I can't believe I'm getting to know you

really well here on the suede blue sofa.

(funky beat)

- When other actors see this dude, they go, damn

I'm never gonna be as good as him.

He won the Oscar for Traffic.

He won the Golden Globes Screen Actors Guild.

He ran the table when it comes to awards.

21 Grams, Sicario, Star Wars.

And his full name is Benicio Monserrate

Rafael Del Toro Sanchez!

Like a boxer.

Oh my goodness.

Yo, B man.

- Alright, let me close the door.

- B, B, first of all, B man thank you.

Come on in to my little, humble abode.

- Where do I go?

- We should have a, you mind having a libation with me?

- Let's do a libation.

- I talk about this all the time.

When I watch other actors in movies,

I'm aware that I'm watching them in a movie.

When I watch you, I don't feel that,

that I'm watching a movie.

How do you capture that.

- Well, coming from you, thank you.

But, you know, the fact of the matter is,

like, I watch you and I get, yeah.

Baby Driver, the, you know, I was like, yeah!

- But that's like me, watching you.

- Okay well, that's, that's, so we're brothers.

- So we brothers, alright.

- Let's have a drink.

- Let's have a drink.

(snorts)

(intense bass)

No body starts at the top, we always gotta start somewhere.

Here's a question.

Why you become a actor?

- Oh yeah, bro.

- 'Cause it's, it's... really.

- I don't come from a family from people

in the theater, or... - Really?

or yeah, no.

My dad, my dad's dad was a policeman, my dad was a lawyer.

- Wow.

- Um, my grandfather was a lawyer on my mom's side.

When I decided to be an actor...

they were not too happy.

I just took an acting class 'cause

I wanted to make it really easy for me.

Ya know? - Wow.

And then I took the acting class, and then liked it.

And I was having fun, and then I questioned myself.

I went like, if I'm having fun - Right.

Shouldn't, what you would do - Yes.

shouldn't it be fun?

- All the time.

- And that's, that's the best.

- That's the main thing.

- That's the main thing.

So I was having fun, and then I was like, you know what?

Fuck it, this is what I wanna do.

- Right.

- I'm having fun, people say I'm good...

- I wanna know this though, where were you?

Were you New York, were you LA?

- No, I was, I was actually in San Diego.

- I went to college in San Diego.

- You wen to college in San Diego?

- International University, A on-- uh, A uh.

- What year did you graduate high school.

I graduate high school '86.

- Oh, '85.

- Yeah, so I went, went to International

University in San Diego.

- And I went to UCSD.

- Get out! - I was at UCSD.

We probably bumped into each other at a party man.

- We did go to Tijuana.

- Ti-- (laughs)

- O's was the name of the club.

- O's, get the fuck outta here.

- Yeah.

- What's your story about O.

- Well my story was like, you know,

coming out of O and not finding any, a ride back.

- What?

- And then I saw a taxi, and I r...

and, and it's full of girls from Sand Diego or something.

And I threw myself on that taxi 'cause I needed to get back.

And they started kicking me.

And I'm going like, I'm going like,

no, no, it's okay, it's okay.

You know, I'll split the cab with you.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- But I just need a ride - Right, right, right.

to get back across the border.

- Why did they think that you...

did they think. - I don't know.

They probably thought you was from Mexico.

- Some girls were like, "Yeah, bring in

"the Mexican guy in the cab."

(yells out in Spanish)

- That is crazy.

But I tell you what.

I quit college, - Wow, okay.

And I decide to go to New York and pursue acting.

- Right.

- And I got to New York, and I'm in New York

for about four month, living with a cousin of mine.

Kinda rough. - Right, yeah.

$400 a month, not good. - Yeah.

And I decide to go to LA.

And I took, uh, and I did an audition for a scholarship

at the Stella Adler Conservatory.

- Wow.

- And I didn't know who Stella Adler was.

- Stella Adler was the, the gr...

one of, one of the great American teachers.

And she taught Brando.

- Right, oh wow.

- So, then I got a scholarship there for two years.

And that kinda changed the game.

(intense beat)

- You were influenced by other movies.

Like what, what I was told you was

influenced by Animal House.

- Dude, I saw that movie when I was 15.

I haven't seen maybe since then.

Well, maybe, maybe one time. - Yeah.

But I was going like, that movie influenced me.

I mean, I like, like, you know - Yeah.

they say The Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,

I don't know if you've seen that.

Yeah I've seen that, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Okay, but so, you know, it's like

I'm doin my version of John Belushi in it.

- Wow.

You know, it's like, it's, it's funny.

To like, uh, see something you, that touch you,

and I wasn't aware. - Right, right.

- You know, I became and actor.

When I watched the film I never

thought I was gonna be an actor, you know.

- But what snapped it off?

What made it go, like, boom, I'm here now.

What was the first thing.

- The first, you mean, the...

- Your first like, break.

Like the real...

- Uh, I would say The Usual Suspects, you know.

And I tell you why.

Not only 'cause I'm good in it, everyone was good.

But the movie was great.

- It was great.

- And I think that you're only as good as your movie.

- Talk about your experience though, winning an Oscar.

What did that mean to you?

What did that mean to you, your family, your friends?

- Well, the family goes crazy with it, ya know.

- Yeah.

- They kinda want a piece of you,

- Yeah, yeah. and pulling you out.

But I do remember my godmother.

She called me up, and she goes like,

"you know, now that you've won the Oscar,

"you can go back to college, and you can finish college."

(laughs)

- She wants you to go back to college...

- And I was like...

- after winnin the biggest prize.

- Well, to her, was like, come on go back to college.

You know, she value education, which is great.

(intense beat)

- Uh, villains.

Great villains.

- Great villains.

They're just misunderstood.

(laughing)

- Are villains misunderstood?

- Well, some of them are.

- What's, what's, what's better,

uh, uh, uh, the hero or the villain?

- To play?

Uh, the villain can be a lot of fun.

'Cause you get to do stuff that you would never do.

- Yeah, we wanna do a villain-off.

Right here on Off Script with Jaime Fox, in my trailer.

Let's do a villain-off Benicio.

- I'll do one.

- We'll do, actually I'm sayin, but it.

- I'll do Dracula.

- I'll do, Silence of the Lambs.

- I'm, I'm going first?

Alright.

Listen to them,

children of the night.

What music they make.

That was my Bella.

- I like love that.

A census taker...

once tried to test me.

I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

(intense beat)

- Listen, the, the new movie comes out.

- Sicario Day of the Soldado.

- In this new movie there is a stunt that

is crazy, where you are hogtied, duct taped, eating sand.

And you didn't use a stunt man.

- Well, I did a little bit, but I did a lot of the stunts.

You know, you do, you get into a little bit.

- Yeah.

- It's like, if he was walking from a high wire,

or was jumping from a plane, I go like, you do it bro.

Actually, the shirt, with the duct tape...

it was kinda rough.

- I don't know if I could do that.

- I had a moment there where I was water boarding

myself, you know, with sweat and all this stuff.

And suddenly, I can't breathe.

And then I'm goin like, is this part of the method?

Is this part of where I'm supposed to go?

- It's is, but that, that... - No I'm gonna die!

God bro, so mouth filled with sand,

and the duct tape, and can't see.

- Duct tape.

Can't see, can't see anything.

- Alright, we have a trailer of his new movie.

Benicio Del Toro has been fantastic.

Thank you for hanging out.

Let's take a look at the clip.

(intense beat)

(helicopter whirring)

(gun shot)

- Nice day for a drive, huh?

- This girl was witness to the mission.

- We gotta get rid of her.

- I can't do that.

- You have no reason to trust me,

but trusting me is how you're gonna survive.

- Adios.

(gun firing rapidly)

(Bada Bing by Benny Banks)

- We need a live feed.

We can find em.

- Good luck.

- Luck doesn't live on this side of the border.

Why U.S. combat troops don't use ballistic shields - Duration: 2:14.

Ballistic shields are carried by

police forces to stop or deflect bullets.

They make sense when establishing a perimeter,

approaching a high risk subject or

as a personal shield in a defensive situation.

They do not, however, make sense for

U.S. troops in combat, here's why.

And by the way, in this video I will

use the term ballistic shield to be an all inclusive

term for type 3A rated shields used by law inforcement.

- Whoa.

- A ballistic shield loses its edge on a battlefield,

and more so against an unconventional foe.

First of all, the shield is cumbersome.

The size and weight reduces a rifleman's

speed and mobility, two very important traits

that are not eagerly sacrificed by warriors.

It's always better to dodge a bullet than to block it.

- Whoa.

- A modern troop will already be equipped with

heavy gear, ammo, and a chest full of patriotism.

We don't wanna add more weight to their battle rattle.

The ballistic shield is lightweight

only in the sense that it weighs under 20 pounds.

It just becomes another thing to lug around,

with no comfortable method of carry.

Firefights can sometimes last hours, days,

or in some of the most brutal circumstances, months.

Warriors need to be as lightweight as possible

with the most efficient means of protection,

which is why some people suggest a shield, right?

- Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

- Unfortunately, the ballistic shield

isn't the right tool for the job.

Unconventional enemies use high caliber

armor piercing rounds, most of what

you would find when fighting terror organizations

would rip right through a ballistic shield.

You just won't find the Islamic state

imposing their twisted ideologies with a nine millimeter.

An improvised explosive device

buried in the ground will effectively

neutralize any benefit of that additional armor.

Finally, most battles don't devolve into a

standoff sealed away from the rest of the city.

- Okay, everybody just calm down.

- Battle tactics involve soundly

defeating the threat which is much different

from the law enforcement objective to protect and serve.

Ballistic shields have earned their place

as a staple for law enforcement

because they have a specific purpose.

Those same shields offer little to

no benefit in military combat.

You know who does use the ballistic shield?

The NASA SWAT team, yeah that's a thing and they're awesome.

- NASA has a SWAT team and they're awesome.

That's right, NASA.

- Click the link below to check them out,

and while you're there leave us a comment and

weigh in on the best tactics you've

seen our troops employ overseas.

Police Dog Learns CPR To Save Police Officers Life - Duration: 16:35.

I am a huge believer that a dog is a man's best friend.

I think dogs are highly intelligent and they are very protective of us humans.

Dogs are also seen assisting people in many ways.

They help police officers and you just saw this saw perform CPR, dogs help assist blind

people, people who suffer from anxiety, they are often used in hospitals.

There are so many health benefits a dog can help with.

Well how's it going Youtube I am Landon Dowlatsingh and this is where I talk about

the news or anything else trending out there in the world.

Let's see if we can get this video to 300 likes so make sure to hit the like button.

Also a quick update on this channel for you guys.

I am not going to lie but this channel has been a huge struggle and I haven't been making

profit on this channel for over a year now I've actually paid out of my own pocket

to create videos for you guys but now with my finical situation I can't afford to keep

producing videos for you guys.

I am just keeping it real, so we are making a 45 day push to try and get this channel

back to where it used to be.

So we have until the end of July to try and make this finically work again.

If this channel isn't able to get back to where it used to be it's sad to say it but

this will be the end of the LandonProduction channel a channel I've been running since

2010 and a channel that got my career started for me.

Its just a very hard time with news channels on Youtube and I've pushed my wallet to the

limit on this because I believe in everything we do here and I believe in you guys.

So I just thought I would let you guys know what's going on so it's not a surprise.

All you guys have to do to help out is keep watching the videos on this channel hitting

the like button and commenting as much as you guys can on all the videos so we can get

ranked on youtube and featured once again.

Also, tell me in the comment section if you like these really long videos better?

And what types of stories you want to hear about?

Maybe Youtube Drama, American News, Trump News, or just how we have been keeping it

diverse.

Ok so I have a ton of news stories for you guys today and some breaking news stories

so let just get right into it.

Breaking news right now, police helicopters were called out to Super Star Youtuber Logan

Pauls 6.5 million dollar LA Mansion after two stalkers were able to jump his gate and

vandalize his SUV.

Is this real life right now I think its time to beef up the security system even more Logan

Pauls life could have been in dangered.

One of the stalkers was arrested it ended up being an underage female who was arrested

but has now been released from custody to the parents.

This took place around 10pm.

After the event took place you can see the SUV being towed away.

Moving on, a woman was filmed on Spirit airlines flight freaking out this woman was having

a meltdown.

What the heck is going on?

The Houston to Minneapolis flight was diverted for a medical emergency.

So the plane was going to be landing somewhere else and this woman wasn't having it.

She wanted off that plane.

"play 5-10 seconds of the best freak out part" Police arrived on board and was able

to give this woman exactly what she wanted but it doesn't look like she was going anywhere

any time soon.

Traveling between America and Canada has just become stricter.

Canadians will now have their phones searched when crossing the border if the border officer

requests.

This is a part of an added security measure when traveling to America.

If a border agent demands your password to your phone you have to give it to them and

they have the right to go through whatever they want to go through.

I am not sure how I feel about this.

Should officers at the border have the right to search your phone while crossing into the

states from Canada?

From there let's talk about a very sad story.

Richard Harrison aka Old Man aka my favorite guy from Pawn Stars has just passed away at

the age of 77 yrs old.

Richard was a huge reason why I loved to watch pawn stars.

"make sure audio is loud even on all clips some quite make sure to up the volume"

This guy will for sure be missed RIP Old Man.

There was another passing that just happened as well.

Markipliers just lost someone very close to him.

Markiplier will obviously be away from youtube for a while dealing with this tragedy and

I just want him to know we are all here for him to get through this.

Also in the news Ex NASA Contractor 26 yr old Reality Winner has just pleaded guilty

in Georgia for leaking classified NASA documents.

She took the plea agreement that will make her serve 5 yrs and 3 months behind bars.

I think NASA's mistake was hiring someone named Reality Winner.

Also in the news, we have an Oklahoma mother Rhonda Gossett was diagnosed with stage 4

breast cancer.

She underwent chemotherapy and radiation.

Everything was working for a bit but as the years went on she was told cancer came back

and she was given only 1 yr to live.

After running out of options she began using CBD oils to treat her symptoms.

This is cannabis oil, and guess what after the 1 yr she was still alive and after 2 yrs

of taking the oil she was actually declared cancer- free.

Doctors say no study has ever shown that cannabis oils have ever helped control or cure the

disease before so this could be a landmark case.

Imagine that, something that millions of people are against might be the answer to cancer.

Weed actually has a ton of benefits to it which is why its shocking to me that it is

so illegal.

I think Liquor has done way more harm than Weed has.

Also when weed becomes legal in Ontario I think everyone who is currently in jail or

prison on weed possession should be released.

After weed becomes legal in Ontario should we release every from jail who was arrested

for marijuana possession?

From there let's talk about Elon Musk, he is running an experimental private school

to educate his 5 sons and other local child geniuses as well.

So many parents who work for his company SpaceX can also attend this private school that will

make them even smarter.

Everything will be paid by Elon this includes tuition.

Also in the news was this picture of this guy trying to smuggle himself across the American

border from Mexico on this inflatable raft.

This image also went viral.

This is an image of Boohoo model posing with an outfit on and this picture gained a lot

of positivity.

Everyone noticed that this model had a ton of stretch marks on her leg and bum and they

were all glad that it wasn't edited out.

Cheryl Adele took it to social media to say this "make sure to screenshot this from

the article"

I find this so amazing.

That even a massive clothing brand like Boohoo they haven't photoshopped away the models

stretch marks.

This is what girl power is all about and every woman has imperfections.

I shouldn't be photoshopped away to give unrealistic expectations its what makes us

who we are.

Moving on, there will be a blood moon today at 9:33 BST time which is British summer time.

This will be the longest lunar eclipse this century.

Its expected to last for 103 minutes in peak places and for 84 minutes in the UK.

The lunar eclipse will be visible to the naked eye on a clear night.

So hopefully tonight is a clear night.

Making a murderer season 2 is on its way.

"please play pictures and trailer clips and clips over me talking from time to time"

There is no official date set yet, there is a huge update with this case but first let

me just catch you guys up with the show that is based on the life of Steven Avery and his

nephew Brendan Dassey.

Steven Avery back in 1985 was convicted of attempted murder and sexual assault, well

after serving 18 yrs of a 32 yr sentence he was exonerated by DNA testing that proved

the justice system had the wrong guy.

Just a few years after being released, Steven Avery was convicted for murder, and his nephew

Brendan Dassey was dragged into the case as well.

Steven Avery might actually be innocent again and there have been so many things that point

towards a corrupted system and Steven being framed once again by the county he lived in.

Steven Avery has served about 13 yrs so far again for a total of 31 yrs behind bars as

possible an innocent person which is so insane and the huge update comes with Brendan Dassey.

It looks like he was coursed by investigators to say things he didn't even realize or

know what he was saying because he has a learning disability, police and investigators knew

that and they took advantage.

It really looks like Brendan Dassey had nothing

to do with this murder case but yet for 13 yrs he's been behind bars.

Well, a supreme court has just refused to hear the appeal case for Brendan Dassey.

This is so infuriating because from what I've been reading and

what I've been watching It really seems like Brendan Dassey is innocent and was framed.

So I can't wait until season 2 comes out.

Also in the news, we have California Fire Captain Dave Rosa who was shot dead and two

others were wounded by a gunmen resident of a retirement home.

Captain Dave Rosa worked for the department for 17 yrs.

The other firefighter who was shot was taken to the hospital and seems to be in stable

condition.

There was also a third person who was caught in the crossfires and they were in critical

condition and was taken to the hospital and they had to undergo surgery right away.

The fire department was on the scene responded to an explosion at a

high rise apartment building in Long Beach, California.

Sprinklers were activated, windows were blown out and you can smell gas at the scene.

This is just so messed up the fire department they do put there lives on the line every

single day trying to save people from fires, and sometimes they die a hero but it's not

supposed to happen like this.

Captain Dave Rosa died from a gunshot wound that's so messed up who would ever want

to shoot at fire fighters.

Right now investigators are looking into this case, there might be a possibility that the

shooter intentionally lured first responders to the scene to ambush them if that's the

case that's just so sick.

So the shooter was actually identified as 77 yr old Thomas Kim.

He was arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, and arson.

Investigators are trying to determine the motive for this deadly attack.

How To Paint Ombre Furniture with Country Chic Paint | Ombre Painting Tutorial - Duration: 18:30.

Hi everyone this is Jessica from Blue Peaches Furniture and I'm here live today on the Country

Chic Facebook group and I'm going to do a tutorial on how to complete the ombre look

which is just a blended paint look it will look like that so the paints blend into one

another and I just want to let you guys know that this is my first live video that I've

ever done so I'm extremely nervous but also really excited and I'd love for it to be as

interactive as possible so please leave a heart, comment, let me know what you're thinking

ask questions, anything you'd like and Without further ado I'll get started so basically

what I've already done is I started it with the colors I wanted to use and what I did

to prepare for this was I cleaned the piece with 1 part vinegar and 1 part water to give

it a good cleaning I lightly sanded it so the paint will stick better and then I wasn't

sure what this surface was it look a little shiny so I used the Country Chic primer which

just helps the paint stick better and that's not always necessary it depends on the surface

because Country Chic Paint usually sticks well to any surface so that's what I did to

prepare and then obviously I just painted what I wanted the colors to be and I haven't

blended them yet though So in terms of the materials needed to get started pick the paint

colors you want to use you can pick anywhere from 2 to 100 colors so let me know what colors

you'd love to use in an ombre look the possibilities are endless you can make really colorful unique

pieces with it I also like to have 1 paint brush for each color I'm painting just because

it avoids you having to clean it in between coats of paint or when you're switching colors

but if you only have one paint brush that's totally fine too I'm just doing it for this

tutorial Then the next thing is I usually take the paint and remove it from the jar

and put it in little cups because since we'll be blending

and mixing the paint it's just better than having to ruin a whole jar of paint by mixing

the paint colors that's a great tip and the other thing that I use is a water spray bottle

just to keep the paint from drying while I'm trying to blend it so let's get started I'm

just going to lightly dip the paint using the first color which is pink into the paint

brush and I'm just going to lightly put it on wherever I want it to go so we'll just

get going so I just put it on wherever you can just use a light coat and I just used

long brush strokes and then I'll take my next color which is purple and just start painting

it and as you can see since it's wet it will just start blending naturally see how it's

just sort of mixing together?

You just keep going back and forth in long strokes and then when the paint starts to

dry or you want to add more you can spray it a little and one really cool thing with

spraying is that the more you spray it, the more it will drip which can create this very

cool and unique look Was your base coat completely dry before you

started to blend?

Yes it was but that's not always necessary you can also do it all in one go while it's

still wet but just for the ease of this piece it's just a little bit easier to blend once

you know the layout of where your colors are but it's not necessary if you don't want

to

wait

and

you

just

want

to

get right to it
