for this, first ready your kurti and go to required bottom width and mark points on sides leaving extra on both side

my required bottom widht is 22 inch, and total here is 26 inch

so I leave 2 inch on both sides, and drew a line till the hip length mark

transfer this line on the front piece of kurti too

after this, take piping place it on right side of kurti and closed side of piping we place like this

and do stitching on the marked line

like this we do the same on the other side too

and there is design on front side, and there we insert piping by folding and I'll teach you this after inserting piping on back side

after inserting piping on back side, now come to front side and here is designer bottom

for this, fold piping like this to upper side and place it on the marked line and sew it like we did on back side

after inserting piping on all 4 slits, now fold it like this

in back side it will be fold a bit like this and do simple stitching on it

this side slit will remain open

when come to hip line mark, firmly stitch it

do the same on all the 4 slits

after completing this, i'll teach you how to fold the slits

after inserting piping, now for slit folding, take it to wrong side

and fold like simple kurti's slits, fold it like this and do the temporary sewing

after that do hand stitching on it and undo temporary stitching

and after that, we fold the bottom up to our required length and do temporary stitching on it too

after doing all this stitching, I'll upload a pic of it

Hugh Grant Tells the Absurd True Story Behind A Very English Scandal - Duration: 6:36.

-I'm very, very happy you're here.

I want to talk about the show.

But I want to start by talk-- World Cup time.

England plays tomorrow.

They're already through to the next round.

Will you watch that game, though?

Is that very important to you?

-Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes. -Okay.

-And I will watch it, touchingly,

with the same eight friends I've been watching the World Cup with

since 1982.

-Oh, fantastic.

Does that mean you have to get to a plane to go see them?

Or are they coming here?

-No, no, they come to my house. -Okay.

-And we watch it on the TV.

And we -- nothing changes.

We're now in our mid to late 50s.

And some of my friends are now judges and heads of banks

and things like that.

But we still, if England score,

we still have what we call a bundle.

Do you have bundles?

-I -- I don't know.

-Well, it just means you all --

you all jump on top of each other.

-Oh, like a pig pile we would call it.

-A pig pile, yeah. Yeah. -Yeah.

Of course, your name makes it classier.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

But we have to do it quite slowly now

because we've all got bad backs.

-Oh, right. -Yeah.

[ Laughter ]

-So, there's a little bit --

and I'm sure there's someone who has certain medical reasons.

They can't be at the bottom of bundle anymore.

-Well, no.

There's always one who is at the bottom,

because we sort of hate him.

-Okay, gotcha. [ Laughter ]

So, now -- I feel like there wasn't a ton of optimism about

the English team going into the World Cup,

but they've won the first two matches.

Are you -- Are you falling for it again?

-We have beaten the footballing giants of Tunisia and Panama.

[ Laughter ]

And the English press is now saying

this is our year for the World Cup.

-Yeah. -Yeah.

-You are a bit -- It is, like, it's recidivism.

That every -- You just keep falling for the team

every year and hope.

And it is -- I mean, it's been since '82.

Obviously, not -- not much has gone right.

-Uh, no. Nothing at all.

-Yeah. -Nothing at all.

Except, almost every time,

we lose to the Germans, and we can't this year.

-Yeah, there you go. [ Cheers and applause ]

That's something to look forward to.

-I know.

I'm so sorry for the Germans.

-You do. You look -- There's a sadness in this coming through.

-Yes, it's breaking my heart.

-When you were young, you actually worked at

the Fulham Football Club, which is a London club.

-Yes, yes.

I used to wash the seats there.

Disgusting job, really.

And dangerous too, because for some reason,

my work mate was a psychopath.

[ Laughter ]

And I said to our boss,

"I don't think this guy's very well, you know, mentally."

And he said, "Nonsense, nonsense. He's fine."

And after three weeks, he stabbed me.

-No. -Yes.

[ Audience ohs ]

I have to say I resigned.

[ Laughter ]

-They let him stay on? -Oh, yeah. He stayed on.

[ Laughter ]

-Yeah. -But that's English football.

-You're right, exactly there.

He's got a go-getter attitude you don't have.

Like, he brought the knife.

-Yeah, quite. [ Laughter ]

He was the real deal, I was --

-I've been a fan of yours for a long time.

People have told me that we look alike.

-I know. -Yeah.

There's a little similarity, and I --

-Like droopy eyes.

-Yeah. We got that nice droopy eye.

And I really -- I will be honest.

In the mid-'90s, I really leaned into the fact

that we looked alike. [ Laughter ]

You had a hairstyle that I thought --

I was like, "That looks great on Hugh Grant's face.

I'm close enough. I'm gonna give it a shot."

[ Laughter and applause ]

And that's, like, that's, like, pretty...

[ Cheers and applause ]

I'm very ashamed of this one because this one,

you looked great and I did another terrible thing

that you avoided in the '90s,

which is I grew a terrible thing on my chin.

But that -- [ Laughter ]

That's the one I feel ashamed for.

-That's awful. We look like two telephones.

[ Laughter ]

-So, this is based on a true story.

-Yes. -The show.

-Yeah, yeah.

-And tell us a little bit about Jeremy Thorpe.

-Well, it was this massive scandal in Britain in the '70s.

I remember it 'cause I, you know, I was in my teens then.

And it was just the biggest political scandal

you've ever had.

And it resulted in this massive trial,

the trial of the century.

And it was this guy who was the head of

one of our three big parties -- political parties.

Absolute member of the establishment.

He went to Eaton, you know, where the royal family go.

Went to Oxford.

Beautifully dressed. Very smooth.

Had a family. Had a wife.

It turned out he put a hit on his ex-gay lover

who was stalking him and threatening to reveal him.

And it was a really crap hit.

It was -- That was the very English bit.

It was so kind of hopeless and amateurish.

You know, the hit man was an out-of-work airline pilot

who got it all wrong and used the wrong gun

and shot the dog instead of the man.

[ Laughter ]

So it was very scandalous.

And it -- So the series is quite dark, but also funny

because it was just so absurd.

-Well, I will say the -- when I heard the description of it,

well, you know, there's a murder trial

and it's a closeted politician.

And, I think, in this fraught political time we live in,

I just assumed it would be so much darker.

It is -- It's a weird thing to say.

It is a lot of fun as well,

which is a nice thing to watch about politics right now.

[ Laughter ]

-Yeah, that's right. That's right.

But they are freaks. I mean, I --

[ Laughter ]

I've spent the last six years of my life, very unlike me,

getting heavily involved in politics in Britain.

This campaign I've been doing about evil newspapers.

So I'm up close with politicians all the time,

and it's unquestionably true that they are weirdos.

[ Laughter ]

Who would go into that job? -Yeah.

-You're not paid very much.

And, really, with that whole thing, it's true.

It is show business for the ugly.

[ Laughter ]

Narcissistic, egomaniacal. -Yeah.

-Sociopathic.

And with absolutely -- and very, very rarely

any interest in the country or its welfare, I find.

-I mean, you -- so, I mean, one of the things,

I know you've been advocating for is trying to stop --

it was the hacking scandal with newspapers.

-Yeah, yeah.

-And do you at least find that

when you talk to politicians about that,

that they are listening to you and hearing?

Or do you feel like it's going in one ear and out the other?

-No, they listen and they are on our side.

Completely on our side, actually.

I don't think I've ever met one

who is really philosophically opposed.

But that's not how politics works.

It's one of the things that's made me so cynical.

Because these big newspapers are so powerful,

they make or break our politicians.

They choose our prime minister effectively.

So when it comes to these big votes on --

well, let's have a new system of regulation where, actually,

newspapers do have to, kind of,

print the truth instead of a lie.

At the last moment, the government will always back out,

because they have to please these big tax-dodging bastards

who run the newspaper.

-It's very terrifying.

And I'm glad we don't have any problems like that over here.

[ Laughter and applause ]

-Well, you don't have those problems.

-Yeah, we don't have those. It's true.

-No, your press is rather nice.

Hugh Grant's Wife Was Kidnapped by a Cab Driver in Paris - Duration: 3:47.

-So, I read this and was surprised.

You still get a little bit, when you act,

you get a little camera shy.

Is that a fair thing to say?

-Well, I have to ward it off all the time.

-Right. -Yeah, yeah.

I think maybe everyone does.

But it's been a nightmare since I started.

I get -- the two worse things I could have would be

if that camera was gonna push in slowly on me

and I had no words, but I just had to emote...

-Yeah. -...and all that would happen

is that my jaw would go

further and further and further out here.

[ Laughter ] "Mmmm."

And I literally can't stop it.

And the other nightmare is, if they say,

"Okay, easy shot, Hugh. We just need you walking

down the street towards the camera."

Nightmare. -Yeah.

-It's a nightmare because, suddenly,

you can't walk anymore. -Yeah.

[ Laughter ]

-And I get a very, very bouncy walk.

[ Laughter ]

And then the director, even to this day,

has to go, "Yeah, yeah, great. Um, it was a little bit bouncy."

[ Laughter ]

And I can't stop it.

-I know exactly what you're talking about.

It's very strange how certain things,

even business with your hands... -Yes.

-...you know. And again I --

You're very good at it. I was very bad at it.

But I just -- they would start doing things.

Like, you know, drink a coffee, and you'd be like...

[ Laughter ] -I know.

Why is that suddenly so difficult?

-Yeah. Do you, and you --

But you feel like you were less prepared for film acting

than American actors?

-Well, yeah. I think -- I don't know.

I don't know how they're trained in America,

but they seem more comfortable on the set.

We have to go through terrible convolutions to get --

I mean, Anthony Hopkins --

you can't get a better actor than him.

He has this problem, and so he starts every shooting day

by being nice to the camera.

You see, he goes up, and he strokes and talks to it.

[ Laughter ]

Says, "Good morning. How are you?"

I think I've seen them having lunch together.

[ Laughter ]

-That's good. I'm happy.

You know, make friends. Yeah.

-Yeah, exactly. -In this day and age,

even if it's an inanimate object,

I'm just happy to see two people get along.

[ Laughter ] -And I agree with you.

-Yeah. -No one gets along.

I have about three fights with strangers a day.

I don't know what's happened. [ Laughter ]

I blame the Internet. -Yeah.

No, I think the Internet -- as far as fights with strangers,

the Internet is -- -It's demented us.

-Yeah, absolutely. -Yeah.

-And you just keep going back to it.

I would say it's worse than, at least with the World Cup,

like, you put your faith in England.

It only happens every four years.

The Internet you can go to a hundred times a day.

-Yeah, exactly. And I -- And I can't stop.

And I feel demented.

[ Laughter ]

I had a terrible fight with a taxi driver in Paris

the other day.

I always have a fight with a taxi driver in Paris.

They're not very nice, if truth be told.

But this one was bad. I was on my honeymoon.

And I said -- I didn't have any cash.

I said, "Does your little machine for cards work?"

And he said, "Oh, oui, oui."

But then when we got to the place, it didn't work.

And so, then he said, "Where's the cash?"

I said, "I haven't got any."

So, there was this terrible fight,

and he took me to and ATM, and the ATM didn't work,

and I panicked, and I said to my new wife, "All right.

Get out the car. Get out the car.

We're just gonna..." [ Laughter ]

It was only 6 euros or something.

And the taxi driver said, "What are you doing?"

I said, "Well, your machine doesn't work,

so we're not paying."

At which point, he kidnapped her.

Just drove off with my wife. [ Laughter ]

That was a real downer on the honeymoon.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

I mean, going very nice distance then, and then...

-You know, I have to say, you were very critical

of the hit in the movie you were talking about.

I feel like your cab driver,

you planned it just about as badly.

[ Laughter ]

You did not think of the next move.

-Yeah. My wife is resentful to this day

because she says, "Why didn't you run after the car?"

And I said, "Well, it was going at 50 miles an hour.

What's the point?" -Yeah.

-But it wasn't a good look that I just sauntered off.

-Yeah, well... [ Laughter ]

And even worse, it was probably a bouncy saunter.

-It was a bouncy saunter, very much.

-Hey, thank you so much for being here.

Such a pleasure talking to you.

South Korea upsets Germany in final group stage match, but both sides eliminated - Duration: 2:25.

Team South Korea.

Zero wins in this world cup campaign before last night's kick-off, and its captain sidelined

due to injury.

Germany.

The latest title holder of the global event, that never missed the knockout round since

the 1930s.

The result seemed obvious, but shockingly, david schools goliath in this final Group

F game.

While the win is not enough to earn the taeguk warriors a spot in the sweet sixteen, the

2-nothing annihilation of the titan of the sport validated their heart of a champion.

Lee Seung-jae has the full story.

The 13th day of the 2018 World Cup was anything but unlucky for South Korea as they produced

one of the biggest World Cup upsets EVER in Kazan.

The Taeguk Warriors, without their captain Ki Sung-yueng ,... played by far their best

game of this year's World Cup,... keeping the Germans at bay for the duration of the

match's 90-plus minutes.

However,... it was in the third minute of stoppage time that world football shook.

South Korea's Kim Young-gwon slotted home a close-range shot that was initially called

off-side,... but upon closer inspection by the video referee,... Kim was deemed onside

and the goal was awarded to South Korea.

The goal sparked desperate scenes from Germany, as they realized they were heading toward

first-round elimination for the first time since 1938, with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer going

on the offense, leaving a gaping hole for Son Heung-min to slot home an easy second

goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Despite the historic win, South Korea will be leaving Russia along with Germany,... but

it's the Germans that finish rock bottom of Group F.

However, the win was bittersweet as the two-nil victory might have been enough for South Korea

to progress had it not been for a surprise three-nil victory by Sweden over Mexico.

The result means Sweden and Mexico are the Group F teams that qualify for the last 16.

South Korea might be out,... but a new star has been born.

Goalkeeper Jo Hyun-woo,... nicknamed Dae-Gea,.. a reference to his club team Daegu FC,.. and

a comparison to star Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea,... made some of the most impressive

saves of the World Cup so far,... including six against Germany.

Jo's heroics between the goalposts have brought him to the attention of several European teams.

Lee Seung-jae, Arirang News.

S. Korean economy to grow this year by 2.8%: KERI - Duration: 0:37.

The nation's economy will grow by 2-point-8 percent this year

The figure released by the Korea Economic Research Institute in its Q2 report is the

same as the previous quarter, and, a little less optimistic than some government estimates.

Sluggish investment in facilities and construction is cited as the key reason for the relatively

low expansion.

Last year facility investment soared by more than 14-and-a-half percent, but the report

points to a decline of 3 percent.

Also in 2017 the South Korean economy expanded by a three-year high of 3-point-1-percent.

The Bank of Korea's latest forecast for this year was 3 percent.

S. Korean, U.S. defense chiefs reaffirm ironclad alliance and watertight consultations - Duration: 3:17.

South Korea's defense minister Song Young-moo met with his U.S. counterpart James Mattis

today at Seoul's Ministry of National Defense. It was the third meeting between the two defense

chiefs,... following meetings in Hawaii and in Singapore earlier this year.

The military leaders shared the view that now is a significant moment for the Korean

Peninsula. Park Ji-won has more.

In their opening statement before their closed-door meeting,... the two defense chiefs reaffirmed

their steadfast and ironclad alliance,... vowing that they will continue (quote) "watertight"

consultations,... at a time when major changes are happening on the Korean peninsula.

"We're standing at a turning point between the dark shadow of conflict and confrontation

that hung over the Korean peninsula for the last 70 years, and the brighter new history

of peace and cooperation. This is a precious opportunity made by President Moon and U.S.

President Trump's vision and decisions. South Korea and the U. S. pledge their utmost effort

to ensure that this opportunity not only leads to the peace and prosperity of the Korean

Peninsula, but also Northeast Asia and the world."

They also confirmed the decision to suspend the Freedom Guardian exercise,... originally

scheduled for this August. Mattis said the suspension of the joint military

exercises will create a better environment for diplomats to negotiate with the North.

"The recent decision to suspend the Freedom Guardian exercise creates an increased opportunity

for our diplomats to negotiate, increasing the prospects for a peaceful solution on the

Korean Peninsula. At the same time the U.S. and ROK forces remain united, vigilant and

ready to defend against any challenge."

The suspension of the Freedom Guardian exercise, however, doesn't mean that the two countries

will suspend all future military drills. Military sources told Arirang News that the

two defense chiefs agreed that the two countries will decide the timing, scope and scale of

future joint military drills and announce the details together,... considering the North's

progress in denuclearization and the military's combat readiness.

Mattis also stressed that the U.S. will maintain its current troop levels on the Peninsula.

"U.S. commitment to the Republic of Korea remains ironclad and the U.S. will continue

to use a full range of diplomatic and military capabilities to uphold this commitment. This

includes maintaining the current the U.S. force levels on the Korean peninsula."

The two leaders also shared a common view that international sanctions on the North

should remain in effect,.. until Pyongyang takes concrete and irreversible steps for

denuclearization. The two defense chiefs also briefly discussed

the transfer of wartime operational control to South Korea,... but didn't reveal many

details of those discussions. They stressed that this year marks the 65th

anniversary of the signing of the bilateral mutual defense treaty and 50 years of close

consultation through annual joint security consultative meetings,... and they vowed to

further strengthen the alliance,.. in pursuit of the shared goal of peace in the region.

Punishing conscientious objectors is constitutional: Court - Duration: 1:54.

Here in Korea, it's constitutional to punish those refusing national service on the grounds

of religious beliefs or one's conscience.

However, the court acknowledges, the fact that Article 5 of Military Service Act does

not include alternative services... requires closer examination.

Kan Hyeong-woo explains further.

The Constitutional Court of Korea has once again ruled that punishing conscientious objectors

is constitutional... saying on Thursday that refusing to carry out military duty on the

grounds of religious beliefs or conscience is not a "justifiable reason."

But the court said it is unconstitutional that the current Military Service Act does

not include alternative services, as its Article 5 only lists certain forms of military service

such as active duty or serving as a civil servant.

The court ordered the National Assembly to amend Article 5 before December 31st 2019

so that it does contain an alternative type of service.

There has long been a debate over whether people should be given the right to refuse

to perform military service in a country where national security remains an important issue

given the political situation on the Korean Peninsula.

Thursday's ruling is the fourth judgment on the issue.

The court made two previous decisions in 2004 and another in 2011, ruling in each case that

holding objectors criminally accountable for violating the Military Service Act is "constitutional."

Cases of conscientious objection in South Korea have seen mixed rulings in different

courts.

Defendants in all 83 cases since 2004 were found innocent by the lower courts, but every

ruling was overturned by the Supreme Court.

The current law says that refusing to be drafted without justifiable reasons is punishable

by a prison term of up to three years.

Mid-Year Check-in Tag [CC] - Duration: 8:30.

Hi everyone!

My name is Frede and today, I'm gonna be doing the Mid-Year Check-in Tag which was created

by Harriet Rosie.

And then on Sunday there will be a video where I basically generally check in with all my reading goals.

But now we're just gonna look at the questions a bit.

The first question is how many books have you read so far this year?

As of now, which is the 24th of June, I read 40 books so far which is quite a lot.

I was not expecting this many books.

But yeah, I finished the 40th book last night and I'm pretty happy with that number.

Question number two is what is your most favourite book this year?

And this is such a difficult question because I have read some amazing books this year so far.

So I decided to be a bit easier on myself and to talk about my favourite fiction book

and my favourite non-fiction book.

My favourite non-fiction book I unfortunately don't have here but I got this book from the

library back in February or March I think.

And that is a book that in German is called Farbe bekennen, but it has also been translated

into English.

It's called Showing our Colours in English.

And it's sort of an essay collection by a lot of different Afro-German women who talk

about their experiences of being black women in Germany.

And it's sort of framed in a more academic historical text about the history of black

people in Germany.

And that book was just so eye-opening to me and just really a type of book that I had

been looking for for quite a long time and I was really happy when I actually found that

type of book and got to read it.

And I think this might be the most favourite non-fiction book I've had so far this year.

And then as to my most favourite fiction book, I really struggled to find an answer to this

because as I said, I've read some amazing books.

So I chose one that I have a bit of time difference to because I think it has stuck with me for

almost three months so I think this definitely is probably one of the best fiction books

that I've read this year.

And that is Do Not Say We Have Nothing by Madeleine Thien.

This is a historical fiction novel that probably a lot of you have heard of because it has

been on quite a lot of people's videos on BookTube.

But basically it explores China's cultural revolution as well as the Tiananmen Square massacre.

And it was just such an amazing book.

I cared so much for the characters, it is about the love for music, about the love for

stories, it was heartbreaking, it was very hard-hitting in some parts but I just really

adored this book so much.

It's a fantastic book and if you haven't picked it up yet I would actually really recommend you do so.

Question number three is what is the most disappointing book you've read this year?

And I think my answer for this is The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry which I've already

given away so I can't hold up the book here.

I didn't think it was a bad book but I think judging from all the praise it got last year,

I expected something much better than what it actually was.

I think it was a pretty mediocre book.

So yeah I was expecting something different I think and I was quite disappointed when

I actually got to the book.

I will leave my recent reads video where I talk about these two books in the description,

so in case you wanna hear more about my thoughts about these two books you can definitely

give that video a go.

Question number four is what genre have you read most this year?

So the genre I've actually read most this year I think is historical fiction which is

a genre that I kind of discovered for myself I think.

It's something that I've been really enjoying.

But also I've been seeing what I like about the genre and what I don't like.

So I didn't really like The Essex Serpent but I did really like Do Not Say We Have Nothing.

So I'm actually very much interested to see what else I can find when I look for historical

fiction because it's been something I've really enjoyed this year.

Question number five is name a new favourite author you've discovered this year.

And I think my answer for this one is Sarah Waters.

I've recently read Fingersmith by her which is a huge book, it's like 550 pages and I

flew through this book.

I read this in two days and I adored it.

And while I was still reading it I was like okay, what else has she written, I need to

read everything else by her.

Because it's historical fiction with lesbians and apparently that's something that I really like. [laughs]

So yeah, Sarah Waters for that one.

Question number six is what is the most surprisingly good book you've read this year?

And that o ne was really difficult for me.

There were a couple of books that I thought I would like more that I didn't really like

as much but one book that I didn't think I would love as much as I eventually did was

again Fingersmith by Sarah Waters.

As I said, I flew through this, I loved it, and- yeah.

I don't think I expected I would love it as much but I was expecting liking it but I loved

it so I suppose this is my answer for this question because I couldn't really come up

with anything better.

Question number seven is what are your most favourite and most anticipated 2018 releases?

And I have to say, I'm not so much following what is being released at the moment.

So I read two books that were released this year.

And one of them was A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo which I liked but I wouldn't say "wow,

that was one of my favourite books of the year."

But then another book which I finished last night that was released this year is She Called

Me Woman, Nigeria's Queer Women Speak which is sort of an essay collection type of book

that I talked about in my pride recommendations video as well.

And this was such a fantastic book.

So I don't think it was like literary or like a reading experience that was a lot of fun,

but I think it was so insightful and in that way it was like one of my favourite books I think.

But yeah, it was a really good book and I'm really really glad I picked it up.

And then as to anticipated releases, this is also something I don't really follow along very much.

One book but it's a book I've actually already read which is just going to be published by

Penguin soon which has not happened before is just Zami by Audre Lorde which is her autobiography

which is a fantastic book.

And I'm just looking forward to them publishing it as one of their modern classics so I can

put it on my shelf finally in a very pretty edition.

But as I said I'm not very much up to date with what is actually going to be published

this year because I have a lot of books that I already own and that I wanna read.

So I'm trying to get to those first and I'm not really keeping up much with what is being published now.

Question number eight is what is your next big priority for your reading?

Now obviously, I will do a reading goals update video on Sunday.

When this video goes up it should be Wednesday.

But I think my main priority right now is reading my TBR.

Because I will be doing a video at the beginning of each month talking about how the previous

month I managed to read my TBR or not.

Books that joined by TBR, books that got off my TBR.

This is really something that I wanna work on because I have about 70 unread books at

the moment and I don't like this number.

I would like to be able to buy a book and just start reading it without feeling guilty

about it because I have so many other unread books.

So I think that's my main priority for the second half of the year.

Question number nine is what's been your favourite bookish highlight of the year so far?

And the only think that I can really come up with right now which is I think something

I've talked about quite a lot on this channel is seeing Garrard Conley speak at my town's

literature centre.

His autobiography Boy Erased was translated into German this year.

And so he did a couple of events in different German towns speaking about this book.

And that was just a fantastic evening.

I'm very glad that I went.

I heard a lot of horrific but also thought-provoking things on that evening, I picked up the book

and got it signed.

And while it was also kind of the only bookish event sort of this year, it definitely was

a big favourite.

And the last question is to tag some people so I can't come up with any names at the top

of my head right now, but I will leave some names in the description and tag some people

on Twitter so they know that they've been tagged.

But those were all the questions for the Mid-Year Check-in Tag.

If you have not been tagged by me but you still wanna do it, please go ahead and feel

free to do so and tell me if you do the tag.

Tell me how your reading year has been going so far.

Thank you for watching this video and I will see you in my next one.

Bye!

Two Koreas wrap up talks on linking, upgrading highways - Duration: 1:32.

On Tuesday, South and North Korea met to talk about linking up and modernizing their railways.

And today, they met once again to discuss connecting their highways.

After hours of discussions, Seoul and Pyongyang released a joint press statement less than

Let's connect to our Unification ministry correspondent Oh Jung-hee on the line.

Jung-hee, what have the two Koreas agreed upon?

Daniel, the two Koreas have wrapped up their road talks that began at 10AM this morning

in the border village of Panmunjom.

We are seeing three major points agreed by Seoul and Pyongyang.

The delegations of South and North Korea saw eye to eye in that modernizing the roads between

the two Koreas are significantly important in balanced economic development as well as

common prosperity.

They've decided to modernize roads between South Korea's eastern city of Goseong and

North Korea's eastern city of Wonsan... as well as the one between North Korean cities

of Kaesong and Pyongyang.

Designing and construction of the roads will be done jointly and a ground-breaking cermony

will be held as soon as possible in accordance with the preparations.

The two Koreas are also to conduct joint investigations on parts of the roadsthat aretobe modernized.

Joint investigation teams will be formed and the studies will begin from early August,...

with the roads along the eastern coast first.

The two Koreas will also jointly develop advanced technology to construct and operate the highways.

They will exchange documents and hold working-level talks to set up practical measures to conduct

joint investigations and modernizing the roads.

That's all I have for now, but I'll make sure to have a full story on the results of today's

road talks in our later newscasts.

Daniel.
