Drop D Tuning - Benjamin's Guitar Nerdery #021 - Duration: 10:36.

Hello and welcome to my weekly updated guitar nerdery video, and if you want to

stay at the ball please like and subscribe! Today I want to tell you

something about drop D tuning how to tune your guitar to drop D and what you

can do with it and what it's good for

first let me show you an easy way to tune to drop D considering you're coming

from standard E-tuning and of course you can you can take a tuner but if you

want to do it by ear, and I really can recommend it, I'm gonna explain why later.

A very good way to do it is using harmonics. ...My guitar is now tuned to

standard E and I'm gonna play the harmonic in the fifth position on the

low E string together with the harmonic in 12th position on the D string

and you clearly hear that interference that were that fluttering. ...and now I'm

gonna tune the low E string down to D I'm trying to catch the D while letting

ring those two harmonics

I just tuned my guitar back to standard E just to let you hear it one more time

and again one more time and take care you listen to the fluttering how it

changes the fluttering first starts in the very high speed and when the

notes come closer it starts to slow down and when there's no fluttering at all

your guitar is perfectly in tune!

And now I'm gonna show you how you can tune your guitar back to standard E tuning.

Play again the harmonic in the fifth position on the low E string together

with the harmonic on the A string in the seventh position and listen carefully to

the fluttering until it stops!

This is a very good way to tune your guitar to drop D and back to standard E

and you do not depend on the quality of your hearing the judgement of if the

fluttering is zero it's much easier than to get the pitch right

you're probably gonna use a tuner to tune to drop D, but make sure you check

it twice, because when you tune down your low E string to D it's getting more

sloppy and that means when you are not picking very carefully

you're getting a different pitch from your attack than from your sustaining note

and very often the tuner is not really getting that. Check it twice and then

you're on the safe side! ...I really love drop D tuning. 60 or 70% of my songs are

written in drop D and it's not only that the guitar is able to reach one whole

tone lower in the tonal range, in my opinion the whole character of the

guitar sound changes

the first time I was aware that there's something like a drop D tuning was in

the beginning of the 90s of the last century and from then on in the

beginning of the 90s of the last century I started to hear it more and more in

metal songs, they're using drop D and then later on they tuned the whole guitar down

to D and the D to C so you have dropped C tuning and nowadays guitar players

very often play bass guitar ;-) ...Let me tell and show you some cool things about the drop

D tuning: First a power chord is now very easy to play, because the three low

strings are now a D power chord

and you still have your former E power chord, your lowest E power chord. It sits

here in the second position

because you only need one finger for the power chord you can make much faster

movements now

That would be hardly possible in standard E tuning and keep in mind your

low E string is now a D string so all chords that integrate the low E string

have the root two frets higher and you also have to take into account when you're

playing solo if you want to play your pattern you used to when you're playing

solo just take into account that you have to jump two frets higher that's

easiest way first to manage the tuned down string

...but you can also experiment and take another approach to it just take into

account that you have 2 D strings now so everything you are playing on that T

string you can play on that D string that's one octave lower

so you randomly getting very interesting results.

just check it out it's cool

Sensor Size Comparison for Photography - Duration: 11:11.

Hi, this is JP Morgan and this is Kenneth Merril. Today on The Slanted Lens

We're gonna take a look at four different sensor sizes and see how they compare with one another

Thanks to our sponsor Borrow lenses for shipping out all of these

Amazing cameras and lenses us the we could try them out provide this test for you

They're a great resource for finding gear that you don't necessarily have a home

It's a great place to check out a different sensor size or the sensor size of your choice

Be able to have the equipment you need when you need it and then send it back and not have to buy it borrow lenses

Are you ready to make money in video?

We're ready to teach you how there's more demand than ever for video content and everyone

You know is probably looking for someone to do it for them. We've got a great video basic download for you

They'll help get you start on that road and help you make money in video

So go to the slanted lens comm and purchase your download today first

We have a hostile out of x1d, which is a medium format sensor

It's the largest digital sensor on the market right now. Then we have the full frame camera the nascent

Then we go to 70 which is an aps-c sensor

Which is that crop sensor size and last of all micro four-thirds with that Panasonic. Gh4?

We won't look at these four different sensor sizes and just see how they compare with each other with regards to vent depth of field

with regards to image quality grain structure how much data is really coming through versus

artifacting

Let's take a look and see what they look like. So let's get started. See how they compare

So we just got back from the beach we had five cameras five cameras four cameras, well, we had a beach yesterday as well

Yeah, three of us hauling stuff around the sand. Of course the waves are coming in and we got stand allows for a couple cameras

They're flying out like people walking like going wow, he's got too many cameras. Can I take one?

No, you can't take one

Okay, so we're gonna quickly go to the focus that we just hear and just starting at three point two

Which was the the smallest aperture for the Hasselblad your background falls away. Yes. It's a pretty - super super quick

I mean, it feels like less than a 2.8 on full frame

Yeah, you know

It feels like a very shallow depth of field very show

If you look at the gh 5 and of course this a which is a little overexposed, which is unfortunate

But the gh 5 is InFocus all the way down the California coast man. Yeah, it's crazy

I did not expect that to be so dramatically, but if you look at the

7d you're good of the sony. Yeah we go

The sony I feel like the difference between the 7d and the sony is probably the least between all of them

You know, yes like the Hasselblad to the Sony still feels kind of dramatic the 7d

But then there's something to the 7d not as much. Yeah, you're absolutely right

So when we start to go to f4, I mean, it doesn't change that drastically we go to five six

Which is kind of optimal here to shoot there's a 7d

Again, you say the 7d is looking very similar to the Sony

but again that Hasselblad at five six the background is still

Considerably more out of focus than the Sony what I like about this is that you can shoot at your lenses optimal

Aperture in terms of sharpness and performance and still have a really shallow depth of field. You care on the hospital on the house

Absolutely. Nice. Yeah, I mean that you're absolutely right. I mean you're at the optimal sharpness on that lens and

It's and you have a nice falling out of focus in the background

whereas it's not the same on the

On the sony of the sony of five six here and a sony just not seen as much you know, yeah

You're seeing more of the background. It's not quite as yeah, you know, but if we jump up to say like f11

f11 on the the GH five

Everything is in focus down there. I'm, it's the focus all the way down south

America, I can see chile right over there in the corner

So look at this is the hospital f11

I mean we have to go all the way to 32 for the Hasselblad to finally be in focus on the rock I was

Even at f-22 that large rock behind her is still a little bit. There's 20

Bit but look at the g h5 would have 22

everything's in focus people all the way back to f-16 which was the most we get on the

The lens we had it was only sony

So the question becomes here and I think what are the stop differences

So like how do you match the depth of field from camera to camera?

So we kind of came up with this at the panasonic. Gh4

3.2 looks very similar to the sony a7r 3 at 8.0 looks very similar to the can of seventy at five six

Which looks very similar to the hostile at static f-16 so yeah

You're looking at more than a four stop difference in terms of achieving the same depth of field for the cameras. Yeah across the spectrum

So what's interesting about that is the reality is that?

The Hasselblad can't give you the depth

Of focus that the GH 5 can give you right but the gh 5 can't give you the shallow depth of field at the Hasselblad

Can give you the thought that comes to my mind then is sure the hospital odd super high quality large sensor

But is it it's not as flexible as say maybe a full-frame sensor

Because to my mind the full-frame sensor can achieve very deep depth of field

It can also achieve very shallow depth of field if you open it up to 1.2 or something like that

So how does the how does a shallow depth of field compare when it's wide open versus the hospital that's wide open?

Let's take a look at that

Okay, so here are each of these with the as wide open as the lenses that we have so which we're all very fast

They look for the format

we have

first of all the panasonic h5 1.7

I mean it is achieving a shallow depth of field here that that's a that's a workable portrait

And I think for headshots and stuff you might want to be able to go more shallow than that

But that's totally workable then that you have the 7d and that's of course a lot shallower

Larger, even though it's pretty much the same aperture

And then the step-up is a 7r3 in holy cow. Look at that 1.2

It is in backgrounds just gone

So a lot of folk very elated focused very beautiful look, but the Hasselblad of the three point to it again

You have more detail in the background. It's not as not as out of my point. It's not a shallow of a depth of field

So even at three at three point to the Hasselblad is not as shallow as a sony at one point - yeah, exactly

So again, well that makes sense. The Hasselblad struggles on giving you depth. Mm-hmm

The GH five gives you depth but struggles giving you shallow

so the a7 r3 and the 7d are kind of more in the middle and they're giving you a little bit on both sides and

It looks like the a7 r3 is really giving you more more on each other on you-jin

And which really moves us to the next side and that is it

The a7 r3 is a 42 megapixel camera, right? And the Hasselblad is a 50

Yeah, so edges it out a little bit it edged out a little bit

But when you go to blow those up when we looked at blowing them up at 300dpi

the hospital I will give you the same with 26 inches and

The a7 three only gives you like 17 inches high with the Hasselblad will give you like 22 inches

This is really kind of made me realize that I think a full-frame camera is the most flexible tool

Yes, because you can shoot at your f-22 and you have everything in focus

You can shoot a year at one point - and you have nothing in focus. So what's interesting then is the

the a7 3

It becomes a compromise in another way in that. It's a little lower megapixel, right you're

Gonna blow it up as much but you still have that larger sensor, which is gonna give you the nice depth of field

so it's a come from it's a it's in between the 7d and the a7 are three is looking at the size of

sensor and sensor quality

Man what we could test to somebody every day

I'm having a hard time as a thinking as a landscape photographer why you'd be using that large sensor for focus issues

but we had it have talked to landscape person that probably say well it's because this shit Mo's all

But we took a landscape photo we did let's look at that

All right, so here's this was really late in the day I mean sun's down yeah, it's very very dark very dark

So there's there's a good amount of depth of field on all the cameras. Obviously the Hasselblad would be the least

Looking at the images. I can definitely see where the smaller pixel smaller sensor size on the jh5 stands out like it's gritty

It's grainy and it just feels a little more

Less detailed the 70s. Okay this a seven or three and the hospital have both look real

I mean they both kind of look the same to me almost in terms of noise structure and how the image looks okay

So let's look at this is all shot at 1600 ISO. They're all hurtin

Some of these are really greedy that you look at the jh5 and the 7d

I mean the 7d is actually grittier than the GH five to mine looks terrible. Yeah

But the Hasselblad is really it's pretty smooth for

1600 and and this is where the a7

Actually does kind of fall by. Oh, yeah, and that's always how it is with the Sony's they don't perform

Well when you start pushing the ISO

To go back to the question to start this all just sensor size matter. Yes

it does to a certain extent if you want a high-performing camera, I

Can't recommend the micro four-thirds. I don't even know if I can recommend the

See honestly when you surprise me because I've always thought. Meh aps-c, you know, super 35 doesn't matter

The full-frame is definitely the sweet spot. Mm-hmm. I don't see a huge improvement

Based on the few things we shot with the medium format, but that's just me. You know, I agree with you

It's really not enough to make it worth it to me. Yeah, and your lenses are more money

Everything's more my either don't just step up with a camera you step up with a whole system

Again, that full-frame sensor seems to be a sweet spot

Gives you great depth of field control be able to get things out of focus

You know get things in focus gives you a really decent image size on the a7 r3, you know

That full-frame be able to blow that up. So there you have it does sensor size matter

Well, maybe not quite in the way that you might have. Thought. So keep those cameras rolling and keep on clicking

If you liked our lesson you today we'd love it

If you'd follow us here on YouTube

And like us follow us do all those kinds of things to join the slam lens community and be sure to leave very angry comments

In this YouTube video and tell us all the things we did wrong. We did a lot of things wrong

So there'll be long comments. I'm sure there'll be lots of things. You'll be able to say what were you guys thinking?

But pick up some tests

There are some exciting cameras that are coming out maybe some cameras that we've missed in the past so pictures some tests

Maybe we'll take them into consideration and using the next couple months. Absolutely

So make sure you follow your own slant lens that really helps us out and leave a comment. We love that

So does size matter when it comes to sensors well

Maybe not quite in the way. You might have thought so keep those cameras rolling and keep on clicking

SpaceGodzilla | Godzilla | Bestiary Pilot - Duration: 6:15.

After its emergence in 1954, the monster known as Godzilla had become one of the most cataclysmic

forces on the planet, more akin to a natural disaster than any living organism.

The most dangerous aspect of the creature was not its atomic breath or enormous size,

but rather the power that could be harnessed from each of its microscopic cells.

Dubbed "G-Cells" by the research group "Bio Major", every sample available was

aggressively studied without regard for the consequences.

Disastrous experiments on G-Cells resulted in the creation of Biollante, which after

a fierce battle against Godzilla, dissolved into a cloud of spores, each containing elements

of G-Cells.

How these spores spread to space might never be known, perhaps carried by Mothra or the

time travelling Futurians, but once in space, the G-cells would mutate and form an insidious

creature bent on the domination of all life.

Cast into the depths of a black hole before re-emerging from a white hole, arose SpaceGodzilla.

Like Biollante before it, SpaceGodzilla bore a strong resemblance to Godzilla, yet clearly

mutated by cosmic rays.

It's most prominent feature was the crystalline structures that jutted from its shoulders,

spine, and forehead.

These crystals seemed to function similar to Godzilla's dorsal plates, and were capable

of conducting immense amounts of energy.

SpaceGodzilla was able to create networks of such crystals, amplifying its own abilities

when near them or even encasing itself within a crystalline cocoon as a means of achieving

spaceflight.

SpaceGodzilla's crystals also emitted a powerful aura of plasma, creating widespread

electrical disturbances and even redirecting Godzilla's atomic breath.

Like Godzilla, SpaceGodzilla was capable of emitting a concentrated beam of plasma from

its mouth, and possesed incredible regenerative abilities.

Most alarming however, was the high level of intelligence SpaceGodzilla displayed.

It exhibited evidence of advanced strategies such as harnessing power from nearby skyscrapers

and even trapping Godzilla's offspring in a type of psychological attack.

Unlike most other monsters encountered on Earth who seemed either apathetic or unaware

of the destruction they caused, SpaceGodzilla possessed an element of true malice.

Through the psychic warnings of the Shobijin, twin fairies who acted as representatives

of Mothra and the Cosmos, it was understood that SpaceGodzilla was driven to Earth for

the sole purpose of killing Godzilla, allowing it to dominate and rule the planet.

SpaceGodzilla was not invulnerable however, its mutations had drastically impacted its

physical abilities, and was forced to largely avoid melee combat in favor of long range

attacks.

It's skin was also not nearly as durable as Godzilla's, relying instead on its crystal

shield to deflect direct attacks.

Such weaknesses were discovered nearly too late.

SpaceGodzilla's arrival in the Solar System was marked by the destruction of a NASA Interplanetary

Research Vessel, its final transmission showing evidence of hull breaches by strange crystalline

projections.

Having arrived at the obvious conclusion that the vessel was destroyed by some sort of huge

monster, NASA met with representatives of the United Nations Godzilla Countermeasures

Center and Japan's own Counter-G Bureau.

Having identified and tracked the entity responsible, the Mobile Operation Godzilla Universal Expert

Robert Aero type, or MOGUERA was mobilized to destroy the creature before it could arrive

on Earth.

In a battle in the Solar System's asteroid belt, MOGUERA was heavily damaged, and forced

to retreat.

SpaceGodzilla meanwhile, was able to land on Earth unimpeded.

On the remote Birth Island, SpaceGodzilla dealt a near fatal blow to Godzilla itself,

before travelling to Fukuoka on Kyushu.

Here, SpaceGodzilla constructed a vast crystal fortress, harnessing energy from space into

Fukuoka Tower, before absorbing it directly.

Further empowered and stronger than ever, it waited for Godzilla to arrive.

It was MOGUERA that appeared first however, utilizing its vast arsenal in a heroic display

but without great effect.

The arrival of Godzilla tipped the balance of the fight, and together with MOGUERA, destroyed

the crystal fortress and Fukuoka Tower, severing SpaceGodzilla's connection with cosmic energy.

Weakened and desperate, SpaceGodzilla was able to destroy MOGUERA and turned its attention

to Godzilla, now alone.

Yet in a previous battle against MOGUERA's predecessor, MechaGodzilla, Godzilla had harnessed

the life force of Fire Rodan.

Combining this power with its own atomic energy, Godzilla was able to emit a Spiral Heat Ray

that destroyed SpaceGodzilla, the remains of MOGUERA and all of Fukuoka in an enormous

explosion.

While SpaceGodzilla had failed in its attempt to destroy its progenitor and rule the Earth,

its defeat had come at a terrible cost.

Godzilla's efforts had destabilized his nuclear heart, beginning a meltdown that could

only end in a burst of power unseen since time began.

Real Estate Tips : Save Time When Scouting Real Estate Locally - Duration: 17:23.

hello everyone and thanks for tuning into the financial investor channel my

name is Brent and today we're gonna be going over the topic of real estate how

to not waste your time when you're investing local and you're a brand new

investor so if you are brand new to my channel I do make stock market personal

finance real estate investment videos weekly so consider subscribing and let's

go ahead and get into it so as a brand new investor I invest in properties that

are local to me within an hour and a half of my home that way could be drive

by them I could research the property beforehand do a walkthrough with my

Realtors now when I do this process initially when we were doing this me and

a friend we would drive around have our phones out on our laps you know looking

through Trulia Zillow our emails from our Realtors you know they're sending us

leads and we're doing this all from our home while we're driving around we're

bouncing around the town basically playing ping-pong and we'll go from one

side of the town to the other side of town back to the other side of town and

it would take forever we would drive around for three or four hours and a

circle so I've kind of come up with a plan I've been doing this now for a few

months I've actually got two properties locked away now I'm going to be

finishing the rehab on one I'm going out there on Saturday we're gonna be doing

this we're going to go out Saturday and check out 5 15 more properties I have 5

on my list my friend has 9 properties on his list

he just purchased one last week or the week before is a three-bedroom two-bath

and I just closed on a four-bedroom two-bath on Monday so we're gonna be

going out looking for our new properties that we're going to be looking at so in

this video I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys how I try and minimize the time

spent researching and putting together and you know drive it around aimlessly

playing ping-pong and the location and you're looking to invest in so if you

guys do you like this video give it a thumbs up button below if there's any

suggestion so let me know as well so let's go ahead and get into it so I put

Fresno California here as our example so in order to get some sort of

I'm gonna go ahead and say that this area here you may be able to get $1,500

for rent so our camp here that I'm going to be looking at is a hundred and fifty

thousand dollars to make our 1% rule our bedrooms we're going to go ahead and say

three bedrooms we're looking for homes that are for sale and they have at least

two bed two bathrooms and let's go ahead and select one bathroom just to get some

more properties in there okay now we have a bunch of properties here to kind

of choose from now we're gonna go ahead and select low to high doesn't really

matter we can actually see here on the map that the majority of these homes

here that match our criteria we're all pretty close together so what I'm going

to be doing is grabbing a few of these so there we are we've kind of zoomed

into our map so we've already researched the city

we've Dean this city worthy of investing now we want to put these properties that

kind of meet our criteria these are interesting to us but we don't know I

mean we can't click on one of these and you can see actually the crime data

let's go ahead and load that up if you head over to crime truely there's a

really good way of showing you the crime statistics within your air giving you

the the reported crimes near the property so here you can see that this

property here in this area here in Fresno Fresno is a pretty rough spot I

went through a couple times and you know during the night I would hear some

sirens throughout the night maybe gunshot I don't know but we're gonna go

ahead and just pretend in this video that we're gonna go ahead and say that

some of these homes are worthy of investment and we want to check them out

and we're gonna go ahead and grab the addresses and with these addresses we're

gonna head over to Google Maps and punch in the addresses here now once you've

kind of got your first one loaded up here you can click on directions and

we're gonna say that we live at McDonald's there's a McDonald's in every

single city we're gonna go ahead and say that our home spot where we're meeting

we're gonna be jumping into a car together and we're gonna be going on a

drive looking at ten properties all together or nine properties all together

and our starting location is going to be McDonald's now on Google Maps you can

select add destination I'm gonna go ahead and jump back over here to my

Fresno and I'm gonna go ahead and pop up a few of these properties here in

another tab that way I can go ahead boy that is okay that doesn't let me do it

that way I can click it that way okay so I'm going to click a couple these homes

here and I'm gonna get them to sort of load on their own and then it doesn't

matter which properties they are I'm just sort of clicking on a few here I'm

gonna get nine of them loaded and then once I have nine of them loaded we're

gonna go ahead and punch these into our I'm gonna find out this one already

what is that 14:26 I don't see it up there I'm gonna go ahead and select that

one as well okay so starting here I'm gonna go ahead and copy these addresses

these are homes that we've had some sort of interest and checking them out so I'm

gonna go ahead and punch these into my Google Maps here we have another one

here I'm gonna go ahead and add destination put that one in there as

well go ahead and what's going on here probably that number four oh it's an

apartment I'm gonna go ahead and skip that Avenue yeah yeah go looking for

some single-family home it's kind of weird that one popped up I'm gonna go

ahead and remove that and add another one in here okay found that one kind of

continuing on here we're just going to go ahead and pop these into Google Maps

and a really cool little feature here that Google Maps allows you to do is

once you have all your dresses kind of put in these are all homes that we've

done our initial screening we've looked at them they look like they're in pretty

good you know areas as far as where we would want to invest in but we're gonna

be driving by these locations are there any parks nice to them are there any

schools next to them are there kids playing outside you know it's in a safe

neighborhood you're not hearing sirens you're not hearing gunshots there's no

one in a trailer in the backyard of the home that's illicit for sale and you can

see somebody moving around and living in there

and you're wondering why the heck you know no these are all homes that you're

gonna be driving by getting out of the car and doing an assessment of the

property now if you're afraid to get out of the car then you can go ahead and put

a big ol X through the property because you're not going to be buying it no

one's going to be renting it for what you're going to be wanting to rent it

for okay so here we've punched in our addresses here and say for example that

we let's go ahead and these were all punched in some sort of way and looks

like majority of our time here okay so here and we're going to say that this

trip is gonna take us see 145 I'm gonna go ahead and just move a few of these

around to kind of make our list a little bit longer in a sense

11:22 okay there we are so initially when we consolidated all of our homes

and we threw them into our spreadsheet it may look like we're gonna take an

hour and 38 minutes to drive by every single one of these locations so we've

met up at McDonald's we have our properties in mind that we want to be

visiting but really right now from looking at it we're gonna be driving

around for thirty eight point eight miles it's gonna take us roughly an hour

in 38 minutes with traffic it could actually take us up to two hours but we

want to eliminate time here so what we can do is because we know our starting

point is McDonald's we can go ahead and say from McDonald's what is our next

nearest location 25:43 over here on the left hand side

you can locate 25 43 and I can't find it for some reason

oh right there are 25 40 30 and we're gonna go ahead and move it up underneath

McDonald's and it becomes our second location we can see here that 6 623

looks like it could be our third location so we're gonna go ahead and

move up 6:23 to become our third location from 6:23 we can then go ahead

and say now we could go left down and around or we can go down and

then come back up and have like a long nice drive towards the end of the day so

I'm actually gonna go ahead and slay off here 323 I'm gonna go ahead and say 559

and then from 559 we're gonna go ahead and hit 240 that looks pretty good right

there and then from 240 we're gonna go ahead and hit thirty one twenty five

thirty one twenty five from 240 and then from 3125 we're gonna go to be going to

145 and then to 105 and then to 1122 and then we're going to be going up here to

24:05 okay so now we've put them into an order that makes a pretty good amount of

sense you know we put them into like a clockwise order here we've cut down our

time from 38 miles thirty eight point eight miles to now 19 miles instead of

an hour and 38 minutes we're going to we're we put them in order that's going

to take us roughly an hour and now that we have these locations in order you can

go ahead and copy all of these locations here let's go ahead and highlight why

isn't it usually yeah okay that goes so it allows you to copy these locations

I'm gonna go ahead and open up a notepad and punch them into my notepad now once

I have them in a notepad what I like to do from here is instead of writing every

single one he goes down I just go to my printer and I've done this sort of

little process here where I give myself a little bit of space and I'm gonna go

ahead and write down okay jump back over here to to Trulia and I look up these

properties and I look up the details for them so you know I could I could either

search for the address here by itself or you know you could just kind of look

through your list but what do you want to write down here I got Barnes Noble

and what you want to write down here is the bedroom

so three-bedroom two-bath it's 1,500 square feet

you know you want to know the size of the home and then how what it's listed

for so I'm gonna say a hundred and fifty thousand so you do this same process for

all of these homes you write down how much you know how many bedrooms how many

bathrooms the size of the home that can vary some homes can be 1,200 some homes

could be smaller if a home is setting that say 1,100 feet 1,100 square feet

but it's a 2-bedroom 1-bath and it's listed for say 80 you know 75 thousand

70,000 because of the square feet you may be able to check it out

drive by it walk through it and you could be able to find some sort of area

within the house that you can actually bump this house into a three-bedroom and

then you've bought it for 70,000 but now it's worth a hundred and fifty thousand

because you know maybe not a hundred and fifty maybe it's worth like 135 as a

3-bedroom 1-bath but now you've got equity in that home but anyways here you

kind of write down all your dresses down just as you know like this now all these

properties are in the order that you're going to be going to them to now you

print this out and you have it on your clipboard or your notepad or whatever

and as you're going by each of these locations you're gonna be making your

detailed notes you're gonna say okay there's a college there's a park next

door you know next door there's kids outside there's you know and then once

you kind of get a list of the detail of the you know what's nearby the commodity

is that are nearby then you're gonna be making details of the home you know roof

needs to be replaced roof roof replacement because if you go

back home and you look at these homes you're not gonna remember anything

roof replacement you're not going to remember what needs to be done on these

homes so paint outside and in a new floor new kitchen and then you know you

kind of go through you walk through the home externally by yourself and then

here for example you know run down area no you just put just brand new and you

just know NO and you kind of go through here and you knock off a bun

these properties as you've kind of driven by them and you've looked at the

state that they're in you've looked at their neighbors you know the neighbors

homes are completely boarded up they have gunshot holes and in the

boards you're gonna go ahead and say that no this is a terrible area to

invest in you're not even gonna bother bring it to your Realtor you're just

going to go ahead and mark it off on your list put a big ol X through it now

these other ones you've gone through and you've looked at them all and you've

made your notes of these properties now out of the nine properties that we've

looked at a few of them we're gonna say you know this is an excellent one this

is okay you know wherever it is this one's okay

and you're gonna go through and just kind of rate them you know which one

would you want to look at and then based on your list when you get back home you

do your estimates how much it's gonna cost of repair what the actual repair

value of that home is and then based on that criteria then you can make your

offers towards that home so that is basically my little process that I kind

of go through before I going out there drive it around waste on a whole lot of

time looking through my app looking through my emails trying to find homes

that match my criteria I already have five or six homes you know up to nine

homes here is on Google Maps that match my criteria I put them in an order

that's gonna eliminate the most amount of time instead of taking me an hour and

a half it may only take me roughly fifty minutes or two an hour depending on the

drive time I've eliminated roughly 30 miles of drive time and I've already

created a list that I can print out and as I'm driving by these locations in and

out of the car I can make my notes here saying hey it needs paint that the porch

needs to be redone roof needs to be remodeled there's a big huge chunk taken

out of the roof or the the chimney you know HVAC is completely shot you know by

the looks of it and then you get your list you take it to your Realtor and say

hey these are properties that I want to take a look at and looked at ten of them

these are the three that I want to really walk through and make an offer on

and he'll say okay okay let's go ahead and do it and you guys can do it right

away or whenever they have so that is basically all hi one of the

cover in today's video how to not waste time make sure you have a list prior to

going out anywhere especially if you're investing locally this is a great way of

you know use Google Maps in order to get your dresses put into an order that's

going to eliminate the most amount of time you're gonna have a set direction

that you're gonna be driving and hitting these locations and then also create

your list with the addresses the bedrooms the bathrooms the square feet

and the price point that are asking that way when you walk through the property

you can make your own assessment of what sort of repairs need to be done you can

look at the square feet of the home you could look at it for yourself

hey is there another room that could be potentially added into the home to give

it value so these are all things you want to be doing and researching trying

to going out and just spending so much time out in your car driving around

because it becomes mind-numbing when you're doing this process so this is

just a little thing that I've done they kind of eliminate a lot of time for me

and I already have the properties that I want to take a look at I'm looking at a

couple four I'm looking at one four Plex a duplex that's listed for like one

hundred and twenty six thousand and a few other little single-family homes and

like a nice neighborhood so that is basically all I wanted to cover in

today's video if you guys did like the video hit the thumbs up button below if

you guys do some sort of other process to help eliminate time when you're

researching properties that you're you know your leads let me know in the

comment section below and of course if you are brand new to the channel I do

make stock market personal finance and real estate investment videos every

single week so consider subscribing and see you next time bye bye

Dota Geography 2: The North (Dota 2 & Artifact Lore) - Duration: 20:35.

The dota world is vast and rich.

From the treacherous waters around the cladd isles, to the ghastly eyrie in the sky.

From the glaciers in the bitter north, to the thorny wastes and hazardal desert in the

south.

Asian inspired cultures, south american inspired gods, and european inspired kingdoms in constant

battle.

Together we will embark on a journey to discover the biomes, cultures, people and stories of

the different regions of the dota world.

This, is dota geography.

(episode 2 – the north and the sunken cities) (make sure to check out episode 1 first if

you haven't already)

(locations and biome) The north, as you can probably imagine, is

a very cold place.

Its surrounded by the northern sea in the east which is frigid, deep and dark, so dark

in fact that part of it is called the black waters.

But we also have the boiling sea, which has a warm wind and ocean current coming from

the south, making the western parts of the north unusually warm.

Especially the bay area near njords hearth, a forest which has eternal spring.

The boiling sea is still pretty cold though, and the warm winds stop at njordshearth.

The north borders the western mountains and the wailing mountains in the south, the cladd

isles are nearby in the west, and the mysterious parts of the eastern isles are not far from

the uninhabited frozen waste.

Because the north is so harsh, not many people live there.

The most noteworthy populated places are icewrack where crystal maiden was banished to, cobalt

where tusk and his kind have their biggest village, and crey where the slithereen sunken

cities are located.

We also have lordran where we find the oracle, and emauracus where the omniscience resides.

The north has many glaciers forming a fjord-like landscape.

Most notably we have Yulsarias glacier in the western fjords known as the whitelands,

and the blueheart glacier running from the barrier, through ice wrack and into the boiling

sea.

Polar bears, triple tailed howling wolves and ice golems are found around yulsarias

glacier.

The barrier is a deep chasm north of ice wrack which divides the north in half.

The mountainous area seperates the slightly warmer but still frozen tundra of icewrack

in the south, from the cold white fields and cobalt in the north.

Panda-like polar bears and small blue birds are found around cobalt.

Kobolds, a primitive and hostile people, are found between cobalt and ice wrack, in the

white fields.

You can also find blueheart racers, a type of penguin, owlcats and sapphires in the blueheart

glacier, which is perhaps how it got its name.

The frost owl is an elusive owl species that is found south of the barrier, around icewrack

and the blueheart glacier.

They have been known to guide lost travelers to safety.

The icewrack wolf, giant wolf, bluehorn and tusk-fox is also found south of the barrier.

The tusk-foxes have tusks, and pelts that are often used in clothing.

Even further south and to the east we have onyx grove, a secret forest near the wolfdens

tavern.

The arctic aroch, a large bird species, various owl races, boars, three-eyed moose and northlight

deer are found from here to the barrier.

Emauracus is a cliffy mountainous area with many caves and like onyx grove, secrets inside.

The southernmost place in the north is the black pool, an apparently bottomless pool

bordering the boreal forests in the western mountains.

The feral road from the wailing mountain region stretches north, all the way up to the barrier

and west to njordshearth, with a few taverns along the way, including the wolfdens tavern.

Ogres are known to attack travelers along this road, and a branch of frost ogres live

in the realm of icewrack.

If we go further north than cobalt, we find the frostbite tundra.

This frozen, forested, mountainous area is surprisingly enough populated - Because its

not just cold, it is also full of aggressive and powerful wildlife, such as the frostbitten

revenants, shamans and giants.

The frostbite tundra stretches from the mountains in bitter ridge, to the ancient mountaintops

of the frozen crag.

Azura is a village between the whitecap lake and frozen crag, that was abandoned for a

long time, but has been repopulated by a colony from cobalt.

Whitecap lake has a lot of wildlife around it, such as various growler bears, ogre seals,

frostwise penguins, crimson octopus and whitecap fish.

Whitecap fish include azuran pikes, perch, trout, bluegill, and whitecap salmon.

The inhabitants of azura used to have safe passage between the lake and azura, but the

area has become dangerous after it became the nest of an icewyrm – the burmal aerie.

That's not their only problem though, because if they could visit their ancestral home near

the frozen crag they would, but they would then have to pass the iceblight plateau, where

the weather is particularily harsh, and guarded by even more hostile wildlife such as ice

golems, ice giants, wild yaks and relicts.

The icewyrms are a type of wyvern, a dragon race.

The north is also inhabited by other dragon kinds, such as eldwurms and sea dragons in

the northern sea.

One eldwurm, auroth the winter wyvern, is apparently the oldest one still alive – an

impressive feat since they are known to live for very long.

She lives in Mount Gorod, right next to icewrack.

Beyond the frozen crag you find the odobenus' crypt, which might be the azurans and cobalt

peoples ancestors home.

Little do they know though that wraiths and ghosts from the past reside here, so perhaps

its for the best that its dangerous to get there.

Through the crypt you can find a secret passage to the reefs edge, a shallow part of dark

reef, which is where most of the sunken cities of crey is found.

Even though crey is part of the north, for the sake of consistency and categorization

of stories, I will talk more about crey in my next episode about the cladd isles.

In the eastern part of the north, on the west side, we find lordran.

Lordran is a mysterious, magical, mountainous and harsh place, with basically no vegetation

due to the bitter cold.

A bit south of lordran we also find the mysterious ruined keep, and to the far east we find the

barren, bitter, frozen waste.

(people and culture) Like I said, not all of the north is cold.

Njordshearth experiences eternal spring, and the hero windranger has been there and saved

the forest from destruction.

Another forest south of the barrier, is onyx grove.

This one is not inhabitated by people though, only strange beasts like ive mentioned.

The hero lone druid has been there.

The mountainous emauracus is where the priests of omniscience dwell.

They worship the god the omniscience – an entity that claims to have created the earth

around it to protect itself.

The omniscience, or the all seeing one, is found deep into the caves, and it can take

many weeks to reach it.

There is a lot of similarities between the omniscience and our own real life Abrahamic

religions.

They have a holy book, which tells the followers to go on crusades.

This is mostly for sacrificial reasons though, not necessarily to spread the religion.

The hero the omniknight is one of the devout followers of the omniscience, and has history

going on these crusades.

But the wars made him eventually question his faith.

When he seeked out the all seeing one though, he was fully convinced of the one true god

and never questioned it again.

The omniscience may or may not be the same god as the one Chen worships, and perhaps

also the rumusque.

Ethreain the lich is from the area around the black pool.

He was dropped in there after his powerful ice magic became too threatening, so strong

it could enslave entire kingdoms.

He fell for a year before he got caught on a branch, and hung there dead and frozen,

for a very long time.

Eventually though, a geomancer by the name anhil fished the lich up from the pool.

He also resurrected him, which was a bad idea since the lich then proceeded to consume the

geomancer.

Now lets move all the way up to the whitelands in the north west, to yulsarias glacier.

And as you probably guessed, it was named after a person called yulsaria.

Yulsaria was an ice witch who built an empire in the north a long time ago.

But when she moved further south to conquer more, the eldwurm slyrak was angered, and

he destroyed her empire.

Slyrak is the dragon who later fused with the dragon knight.

The hero Rylai the Crystal maiden found yulsarias crown and mantle, and sometimes wear them.

Crystal maiden lives in icewrack, which is just south of the barrier.

However, she didn't always live there.

Rylai and her sister lina once lived somewhere else, but as the sisters' ice and fire powers

got out of control, they were banished to each their region.

Rylai in the north, and lina in the barrens in the south.

But she is originally from zaru'kina in the western forests.

How i know this, i will explain later in my history and speculation section of this video.

In the realm of icewrack an ice wizard from the blueheart glacier took care of Rylai,

and taught her the art of ice magic.

When he figured she was ready for solitary practice, the ice wizard descended into the

glacier to hibernate for a thousand years, leaving crystal maiden as the warden of ice

wrack.

Oh, do you remember how I said the blueheart glacier where the powerful ice wizard lived

and now hibernates, contains many powerful sapphiers?

There is one other thing in the dota universe that combines sapphires and wizards – the

sapphire archons from the sapphire conclave.

Unfortunately I cant talk about this theory of mine, but I can provide you with another

hint that is out in the public.

Crystal maiden knows Pierpont, and the sapphire archons.

She is also present at the roseleaf battle.

Even further south of icewrack and the blueheart glacier the feral road starts, a road that

stretches through the wailing mountains, down through the ruelands and the kingdoms slom

and elze, all the way to zaru'kina in the west.

Many taverns are located near this road, among them the wolfdens tavern where the legendary

fight between tusk and bristleback took place.

I will come back to more about tusk when we go further north, but for now all you need

to know is that he and bristleback has one of the most bitter rivalries in the dota universe.

Bristleback was hired as an enforcer at the wolfdens tavern, where he collected tabs and

beat up those who refused.

One who refused, was tusk.

After a long battle tusk was victorious, something bristleback could never put behind him.

Tusk was the last man standing in the wolfdens tavern, and had won against not only bristleback,

but also 4 other regulars, a blacksmith and six soldiers from the frost brigade.

The frost brigade is a military faction in the north.

Icewrack, and probably especially the wolfdens tavern is known for its white wine, which

pangolier and his faction the nivan gallats love.

Yzir, one of tusks ancestors, also might have lived near the wolfdens tavern.

To the west of icewrack, in mt. gorod, I mentioned that the winter wyvern resides.

She decided to live there while contemplating her new edda, but caught crystal maidens attention

when she started terrorizing the farmers of icewrack.

But when rylai went to drive the dragon away, they instead made a deal that auroth the winter

wyvern would instead pay them with artifacts.

One of which crystal maiden took for herself, her arcana the frost avalanche.

The winter wyvern is a writer, and travels the world to find things to write about in

her eldwurm eddas.

She collects books, artifacts and stories, but she also wants to CREATE heroic tales.

Her adventures are a bit distracting though, so she doesn't always get as much writing

done as perhaps she wish.

North of mt gorod we have the barrier, which seperates icewrack and cobalt.

Tusk sometimes climbs the peaks of the barrier.

One place in cobalt is white fields, where tusk first performed his signature move, the

snowball, during a brawl.

To the far east of cobalt lives the frostiron tribe, who excel at blacksmithing and often

uses the sapphires from the blue heart glacier.

Both tusk and crystal maiden knows the tribe, and have been gifted armor from them.

Its likely that they are the equivalent to our worlds Vikings.

Cobalt is populated by ymir the tusks people, who look like polar bears mixed with walruses

and a hint of human.

It is likely that tusks people used to populate a much larger area in the north previously,

because they resently sent a colony to reinhabit azura.

Due to dangerous wildlife though, its still difficult for them to live there, especially

with dragons blocking their path to the whitecap lake.

Even further north I mentioned earlier the crypt of the odobenus legion.

Its not unlikely that the wraiths here, and hints at a once prosperous settlement is referring

to tusks and the azurans ancestors.

The wraiths look much like the skeletons of tusked Vikings, which makes me think that

they are also the ancestors of the frostiron tribe, and due to references of a throne,

perhaps also yulsarias empire.

The only thing that makes me uncertain about the connection to yulsaria, is that the statues

that maybe depict a king, are not female.

It is possible that the goddess skadi among other norse mythology gods are worshipped

in the north, due to their Viking resemblance.

Grimly enough though, skadi might be dead, because her eyes have been used in crafting

weapons that were kept in dark reef.

Another diety that might be from the north, is kaldr the ancient apparition.

Kaldr is a made up dog assosciated with skadi in the video game smite, and kaldr literally

means cold in the old norse language.

In dota 2, he is simply coldness itself incarnate, an infinite force that predates the universe.

As the end – or maybe in his case – ragnarok, grows closer, he gets more and more powerful.

Wether hes a ghost, a god, or just coldness itself we don't know, but theres a cute

relationship between him and crystal maiden.

If monkey king is to be believed, ancient apparition wants to ask crystal maiden on

a date.

All of the north isnt just populated by tusks people, slithereen and humans.

There is a keenfolk tribe called the frosted winds tribe to the west, and it was on these

keenish shores the hero kunkka washed up on after a great battle.

Kunkka later recruited some of them for his ship.

The hero Sniper also knows this tribe.

Theres also northern drow.

They live mostly in onyx grove, and drow ranger is a member of their boreal watch faction.

Contrary to common belief, drow ranger isnt actually a drow.

They are a short, ugly race, who took her in when her family was killed.

The normal drows, and drow ranger herself, live in the western forests.

The people of crey are slithereens, a type of meranth.

I will cover everything about them, maelrawn and siltbreaker in my next episode about Cladd,

for the sake of keeping this episode a bit shorter, the cladd episode a bit more interesting

and also because its less confusing if we just do everything ocean related in its own

video.

Siractionslacks has also explained the stories of the meranths very well in his loregasm

series which I highly recommend you check out if you haven't already.

If you watched my first episode you might have noticed I did a few tweaks to the map,

most prominently the trembling isle.

Check out v2.1 of the world map in the description for the updated edition.

Anyways, we still have the east part of the north left, where we find Lordran.

Lordran is the place where the veiled oracle gives the names of those that needs to be

killed to the veiled sisters, a faction of female assassins.

The veiled sisters abduct young girls and train them to forget their identity, so that

they can become assassins and mindless killing machines.

The hero mortred the phantom assassin is a member of the faction, and has been to lordran

where she learned new knowledge – which I assume is her next kill.

Mortred however, unlike other veiled sisters, actually knows her name and is clinging onto

her identity.

The veiled sisters assassinations seem to be completely random, and doesn't favor

kings over peasants or evil over good.

Only the veiled oracle knows why they kill these specific people.

The veiled oracle is most likely the hero oracle.

And why he gives the names he does, is so amazing that I really cant bring myself to

spoil it here.

Instead I highly advise you check out siractionslacks' video on her, which is my favorite loregasm

video.

Ive watched it like 5 times and I get goosebumps every time.

I don't wanna spoil anything for you, just trust me that it will be worth it.

If you have already seen it, go watch it again.

The ruined keep might not seem like it has anything to do with the veiled sisters or

oracle at first glance, since its mentioned through a chaos knight cosmetic.

But what it reads is that blind forgemasters are haunted by visions of realms beyond mortal

knowledge.

To me, this seems like it might be where the manifold paradox was forged.

It will make sense after you watch slacks' video about PA.

(events and speculation) So i told you that crystal maiden and lina

are originally from zaru'kina in the western forests.

How do we know?

Well, lets take a look at the hero windranger real quick.

Her hair is red, shes a human, her skin is fair, and her parents were apparently killed

in a storm on the night of her birth.

The WIND took care of her and raised her, and she now has some power of the wind.

The hero grimstroke has told the windranger that she was better off not knowing her parents.

Additionally, windranger has an icy cold rival, the drow ranger.

But she doesnt seem to rival crystal maiden or lina at all, its like she doesnt even know

them…

Lastly, lets take a look at the windrangers name.

now lets look at crystal maidens name.

lyralei and rylai.

In case its not obvious where im going – crystal maiden and lina might have a third sister

they are unaware of!

Crystal maiden has her ice powers, lina has her fire powers, and lyralei controls the

wind.

Crystal maiden and lina are from a temperate place, which zaru'kina most likely also

is, since its located in the western forests.

We know that crystal maiden and lina had a lot of difficulty controlling their powers

while young, so maybe windranger did too, and the storm the night she was born was caused

by herself.

Lyralei the windranger could just be a younger sister, born after crystal maiden and lina

were sent away.

And grimstroke saying it was for the better that they died, might be because otherwise

windranger would have been banished too.

We know that lina, the oldest sister, was already in the scintillant waste in the barrens

as a child, and crystal maiden knew tusk in her youth, so she must also have been sent

away quite young.

Then its not unlikely that after the ice and fire sisters were sent away as young children,

their parents had another daughter, which would be their doom.

Windranger is the third sister, and neither of them are aware of it.

(placements and alternatives) Ok first of all - placing crey was hard.

It had to both be part of the north, be to the west of the mainland, preferably be near

the cladd isles, and also somewhere deep.

This is the best i could do to make it as logical as possible, but i guess i could also

have made the whitelands the cladd isles.

My only issue with that is that i feel like cladd, kunkkas homeland, isnt just a shitty

tiny piece of ice in the far north.

I feel like by his general character and lore, his homeland must be quite big, western and

an island with an interesting coast.

Then there was only one choice, the piece of land i chose.

It also makes sense because then it can be close to the north without being on top of

it.

Siltbreaker and the trembling isle doesnt necesarily have to be right next to eachother,

as long as they are somewhat close, and in a cold biome.

Other than that, most of the places are just described as being cold or in the north.

Theres 2 exceptions though, lordran and emauracus.

Lordran we have only seen in the PA and oracle comic, and it looks very much frozen.

Because of its hidden location and lack of vegetation, i placed it to the barren east.

Emauracus is only described as cliffy and cavey, and not cold.

But because of omniknights appearance, i figured it must be in the north, since i could find

no other logical place to put it.

And then i placed it beneath njordshearth since its not specified that its a particularily

cold place.

Like i said in episode 1 - where exactly things are placed is not super important.

This is mostly just to have something physical for you to rest your eyes on while we talk

about the connections and relationships in this chaotic world.

Make sure to watch previous episodes, and subscribe for future ones.

I also have other lore videos you should check out if you liked this.

Thanks for watching, hope to see you around! peace

Brother. Oh, I know I

Do and your and your and your I do it?

Oh

Kenchi

The dragon knelt on the ground

For the first time is able to clearly see the world around him and he became human

The stranger revealed himself as his fallen, brother

Reunited the two set out to rebuild what they had once destroyed

What have you become I

Have accepted what I am and I have forgiven you

Now you must forgive yourself

The world is changing once again handle and it's time to pick a side. Oh

Yeah

Real life it's not like the stories our father told us you were a fool for believing it so

Perhaps I am a fool to think there is still hope for you

But I do

Think on that brother

Oh my god, oh

Really big felony stories involving

Especially siblings. Okay, you like stay he fallen, okay

Okay, you guys. Yes, sir. Oh my god, you guys aren't as into all as I am

Okay

Okay, so

that hick that hit close to home because as you know, I'm if you're not if you're new, you won't know this but um

I'm a big sister. So

Yeah that hit close to home to me. But oh

My god, you know what it is. You know what it is you what you why I'm loving this because it's about family. It's about

Heart you feel the heart to it. Like I every single short that I have been watching. There's so much heart to it

There's so much heart oh

My god, how would he like there's there's so many shorts

I'm gonna guess there's so many shorts and then they do really so many is do they do like per year or something, but

Cuz from the start, oh

My niece talked about the dragons and everything when people sometimes tend to talk about stories they end up relating to those stories

So, oh my god, that was good

That's this set up there the storytelling - it wasn't revealed right away like you like kind of guessed

It was about him, but then how it revealed with the breath

I was his brother that was with the fight like you had to go through the fight in order to figure out that it was

His brother and oh my god, I would I felt all these characters cuz I love them all so much so far. Oh,

My god, I haven't met all of them yet. So I can't say who my favorite is but oh my god

This is gonna be fun. This will be fun with you guys because I'm loving this

I know you guys love this series and I for one as you know, I get very emotional

Especially when there's good storytelling and characters that I can relate to or also

When it's just overall like you feel the heart of it like I feel a love, you know

I feel that Blizzard created something out of love

Like they didn't just make something to get money, you know

like you can feel certain things where it's like some people just make games and like

Series to get money or they're not doing it out of passion or they just want to get famous to do it

It's like no

They're doing it out of the kindness and love

Miss the love missus that'll work

out of the love of their heart because they love these characters and they want to tell their story and that's

That's fun. It's

That's one. That's one I hope

I'm punching my knee that makes a really weird sound. Ow. Don't punch yourself cap, but

As so much love I

So much love to it. And this is why I'm enjoying it because it proves to us

Oh my god, my overalls are coming down. It proves to us that

there's some humble people left in the world, you know and

Also that through their characters you could tell that they took time to create them

But then these characters aren't just characters through

The real to us and I'm beginning to realize why this fandom is so amazing and popular because of because of the characters

so I can't wait to explore more of the overwatch fandom with you guys and

Just overall geek out about it because it's it's amazing so far. But yeah

Carol is Revealed | Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) Movie Clip - Duration: 2:24.

Are you out of your corn-fed mind?

You're not actually going to listen to this guy?

He killed Pike, he almost killed you,

and now you think it's a good idea to pop open a torpedo

because he dared you to.

Why did he save our lives, Bones?

The Doctor does have a point, Captain.

Don't agree with me, Spock. It makes me very uncomfortable.

Perhaps you, too, should learn to govern your emotions, Doctor.

In this situation, logic dictates...

Logic? Oh, my God! There's a maniac

trying to make us blow up our own damn ship and...

That's not it. I don't know why he surrendered,

but that's not it.

Look, we're gonna open a torpedo. The question is how.

But, Jim, without Mr. Scott on board,

who exactly is qualified

to just pop open a four-ton stick of dynamite?

The Admiral's daughter appeared to have interest

in the torpedoes and she is a weapons specialist.

Perhaps she could be of some use.

What Admiral's daughter?

Carol Marcus. Your new science officer

concealed her identity to board the ship.

When were you going to tell me that?

When it became relevant. As it just did.

Are the torpedoes in the weapons bay?

Loaded and ready to fire. What are they?

I don't know. That's why I forged my transfer

onto your ship to find out why.

I do apologize for that.

By the way, if I caused you any problems, I am sorry.

I'm Carol Marcus.

- James Kirk. - Torpedoes.

My father gave me access to every program he oversaw,

then I heard he was developing these prototype torpedoes.

When I went to confront him about it, he wouldn't even see me.

That's when I discovered the torpedoes had disappeared

from all official records.

And then he gave them to me.

You're much cleverer than your reputation suggests, Captain Kirk.

I have a reputation?

Yes, you do. I'm a friend of Christine Chapel's.

Christine, yes. How is she?

She transferred to the outer frontier to be a nurse.

She's much happier now.

That's good.

You have no idea who I'm talking about, do you?

What are we doing in here?

Is this shuttle prepped to fly?

Of course it is.

- Would you please turn around? - Why?

Just turn around.

It's too dangerous to try and open

one of these torpedoes on the Enterprise.

But there is a nearby planetoid.

I can open one up there.

But I will need some help.

Turn around.

Now!

Hi all, welcome to a new video on my channel. Today I will be showing you something really special!

See you after the intro!

I am currently in the hospital waiting room.

Need to wait another 20 minutes...

and hopefully the stitches will be removed after that.

Finally. It's time!

I see a lot of stuff on the table. Alcohol to clean the wound.

They have just cleaned my hand with some alcohol...

and the nurse is wearing rubber gloves.

Now the nurse is getting scissors.

Is that a new pair of scissors?

nurse: No it's sterile! Do you know what it means?

New?

nurse: It means that it has been cleaned, and that it has not been used for something else!

Yes. Stitch one is out!

Yes. That is stitch two!

And that is stitch three!

Yes. Finally. Al stitches are out!

Have a look at all the stitches!

Look all the pieces of wire.

Hello.

Some more alcohol to clean it.

It looks really nice!

Bye bye stitches!

Look how cool it looks!

They are gone!

It feels really strange!

So you can clearly see where the stitches have been through my skin.
