[music playing]

Hey, it's Ivy from "How to House."

And today we tackle the mysterious vacuum cleaner.

I mean we all use one.

Uh, you do use one, right?

But don't pretend you know what this brushy bit's used for.

And what the heck is this?

Well, have no fear.

Today, I'm going to show you how to use all of these extra parts

so you can win at adulting.

OK, so the standard vacuum cleaner

comes with these attachments, which

I like to call little brushy, pointy bit, and the squeegee.

OK, OK, here's what they're actually called.

Dust brush, crevice tool, and the upholstery tool.

I kind of like mine better, but moving on.

First up, the dust brush.

This magical little attachment does a lot of the hard work

of dusting for you.

It won't scratch surfaces and it's perfect for window blinds,

lampshades, and wood surfaces.

Next, the crevice tool.

This guy is a workhorse.

You can use it to vacuum along baseboards, or in tight spots,

like under the furniture, the stove,

or even between couch cushions, as long as you

clean the change out first.

Lastly, the upholstery tool.

This small flathead features strong suction,

and does an amazing job at refreshing mattresses,

couches, chairs, anything upholstered.

Personally, I love it for removing pet hair.

And there you have it!

No longer will your vacuum sit in the closet and pout, never

realizing its full potential.

Now go forth and clean my friends!

What household dilemma would you like to see me tackle next?

Let me know in the comments below, and don't forget to give

us a Like and subscribe.

I'll see you next time.

CHICOTE - Whip Catch - 1 DIABOLO TUTORIAL 🏆 - Duration: 2:34.

Tchpsch! Remember to give this video a thumbs up to support!

And if you want you can click on the card to buy a diabolo,

make a donation to the channel

or support the project on patreon ok?

Diabolo Tutorial: Whip catch.

The whip catch is a nice trick, which is not so difficult to do

and that has endless variations and possibilities of entreis and exits and developments

the one I will teach you for me is one of the simplest

it consists in taking the diabolo out of the string,

making a hook

throw it up and whip.

The first step is to join the two sticks in one hand

All the whip trick is to understand how to hold the sticks in the right way.

They should make a V,

so that the string is separated enough to catch the diabolo in the air at the time you whip

I do it like this

but you can find the best way for you.

After accelerating the diabolo and putting the two sticks in one hand forming the V

You will pull one side of the string,

throwing the diabolo up, and continue holding the string,

and then we'll get the diabolo outside the string,

what we call the backside or darkside.

The dark side of the rope! Muahuahuaaa

Then we put the end of the string we are holding locked on the sticks

forming a lock which is almost a trapeze

this lock leaves the diabolo safe enough to stay in one hand

It's an optional step but it's really cool because it creates an expectation for the whip.

Finally, we throw the diabolo up. And tchablaws!

whips!

The idea is to make a very fast semi circle with the hand,

through the side and back of the body and rising.

making an impossible turn in the air and catching the diabolo.

One of the most important things is that the sticks are aligned with the axis of the diabolo.

So to the string also aligns and manage to catch the diabolo in the air.

there are people who prefer to turn the body facing the axis, like that

but I'd rather do it sideways

you have to go experimenting and see how you feel more comfortable.

I also like some variations as whiping from underneath or make it with both hands.

Says there in the comments. What is the trick with diabolos you like the most?

If you want to support the channel click the screen to find out how

you can buy one diabolo or support the project in patreon

or make a donation to keep everything going on here

Remember also to take a look at the old diabolo tutorials and see the other tricks

[birds chirping]

I've been thinking a lot lately about

what it means to be a girl.

A cisgender, feminine presenting girl.

That's me.

Sometimes I feel guilty for wearing

dresses and lipstick and enjoying baking

and not always being the best at

standing up for myself.

I'm what everyone expects of me

Except...when I'm not.

I study math, I enjoy camping and playing

in the mud and I think bugs are cool.

What kind of girl does that make me now

that I'm an exception to the "girl rule?"

A lot of people underestimate me.

They don't know what I'm capable of.

And it's tiring, I must admit.

But maybe it's a good thing, in a way.

Maybe my strength is my perceived weakness.

Past Progressive "was/were + -ing" + "when/while" (English Grammar) - Duration: 6:56.

Hi, everyone.

Welcome to SandJ English.

Sasha

You came home late last night.

What happened?

I was driving home yesterday

when I ran over broken glass

and got a flat tire.

Can you believe it?

I was trying to call you while I was waiting for a towing service.

Why didn't you answer?

What were you doing around 6 p.m.?

Hmm

What was I doing?

Oh

I was sleeping all day.

Our today's topic is

We use it to talk about long actions in the past

that continued for a certain period of time.

The past progressive is used to say

that something was in progress around a particular past time.

For example,

"I was watching TV at 10 p.m. last night"

I started watching TV at 8 p.m.

and finished at 11.

It means that at 10 p.m. I was watching TV.

Watching TV is a long action.

The past progressive is never used with short actions

like wake up, start or buy.

We often use the conjunctions "while" and "when" with the past progressive

to connect two actions that happened in the past.

These structures are useful also for story telling.

Let's look at how they are used.

"while" is used in front of a long action.

We can have two long actions in one sentence.

The structure is:

(long action) while (long action)

With long actions we use the past progressive.

For example,

"I was listening to music while I was eating dinner"

We can also use "while" in a sentence

with one short action and one long action

The structure is:

(short action) while (long action)

With short action we use the past simple

With long action we use the past progressive.

For example,

"I got a flat tire while I was driving"

"when" is used in front of short actions.

The structure is:

(long action) when (short action)

Example

"I was driving when I got a flat tire"

Let's have some more examples.

Please listen and repeat.

Let's practice!

- listen and repeat -

Good practice, everyone.

Hey

You won't believe what happened yesterday.

Oh, I know.

Mike walked into the toilet while you were using it.

Jenny, I need your help.

My computer crashed while I was working.

What exactly were you doing when it crashed?

I was writing a report

and I moved the screen a little.

Then it went blank.

Here's the problem.

The power cord is unplugged.

You shouldn't have moved the computer while you were using it.

See you next time.

Hungarian Lesson with Zsuzsi 8 - Az igék, (The Werbs) - Duration: 8:23.

Hi!

The new video episode is done, and after a little break here we are again.

This video is about the verbs, conjugation and their usage.

So let's start it!

We reached the most interesting part of Hungarian language: The verbs

What is that?

The verb is a kind of word which signals state of being, changing of condition, occurrence or action.

Verbs expressing existence, for example: él (to live), van (to be), lesz (will be), volt (was) and etc.

Verbs expressing state change, for example: örül (to be happy), szomorkodik (being sad) and fázik (to be cold)

Verbs expressing occurrence: for example: villámlik (lightening), esik (raining), fúj (blowing)

Verbs expressing action, for example: fut (to run), énekel (to sing), zongorázik (to play on piano)

There are regular

and irregular verbs as well.

The irregular verbs are different because you add the suffixes in a different way from regular verbs,

or when you conjugate them the root of the verb changes.

But don't worry; we are going to learn only the regular verbs and only present tense indicative mood.

Unlike English language, in Hungarian language we have only one present,

only one past and only one future tense.

Of course we have indefinite and definite conjugation.

Then let's see the most important verbs of Hungarian language.

to sit,

to stand,

to rest

to study,

to speak,

to walk,

to run,

to hurry,

to pay,

to shop,

to wait,

to bake,

to live,

to dance,

to sing,

to do

Let's see how the indefinite conjugation works.

I have talked about the vowel-harmony in one of my previous videos, and then we need this rule again.

The vowels have two different types in Hungarian language.

There are back vowels and there are front vowels too.

The back vowels are the following: "autó", I call them "auto"

a,á,

u,ú, o,ó.

"Autó".

"Autó" (car)

The other group of vowels in Hungarian language is called "teniszütő" (tennis rocket).

Here, we have the following sounds:

e,é,

i,í, ü,ű,

ö,ő.

"Teniszütő", I make all of them here.

As we already talked about it, there are back words, like "tanul"(to study).

I study, you study, he/she studies.

Here the word doesn't get suffix.

We study, you study, and they study.

Pihen (to rest) is a front word.

So the conjugation is following the harmony.

I rest, you rest. As you see there is no harmony here.

He/she rests. There is no ending here.

We rest, you rest, and they rest.

The verbs with ü or ö sounds have the following conjugation.

I sit. The word gets an accent here. You sit, He/she sits,

we sit, you sit, and they sit.

I study, you study, he/she studies. Here the word doesn't get suffix.

We study, you study, and they study.

I rest, you rest. As you see there is no harmony here. He/she rests.

There is no ending here.

We rest, you rest, and they rest.

I sit. You sit, He/she sits,

we sit, you sit, and they sit.

Hi Kati! This is Zsuzsi, how are you?

Hi Zsuzsi! I'm fine, thanks. And you?

I'm fine too. What are you doing?

I'm in the shop and I'm shopping, and you? Where are you?

I'm sitting in the library and I'm learning.

So that's all I have for today. The new episode is coming soon.

Till then, subscribe, leave a comment

and visit our webpage too!

Bye bye!

We Only Have Moments To Live ♥ Boho Diaries | Ep.9 Flores Island - Duration: 13:14.

it's the experience that we get to

Have a memory this creates with our loved ones

That's what really life is all about because you see these people in these villages who are happy

and they're just there with their families their children and

there's just the simplicity and happiness to it, so

Cherish your loved ones cherish the time you have a planet and experience

so

the time has come [and]

We're leaving indonesia

Unfortunately our Visa has run up, and we gotta go

so

we're here in

Maumere, Flores

Its our last day in indonesia

and we're off to Malaysia and

Hoping to probably go to an Island

called Borneo,

which we heard is a little bit more raw

beautiful and less

Traveled than other islands in Malaysia that which is something that we're constantly constantly seeking I

Think it's been pretty much one of the best months of my life a lot of ways really hard

and

really wonderful

And I feel that kind of has been our kind of theme in

During the time spent in indonesia. Is that coming to Ubud

first and

realizing how crazy and insane that City was

Getting away from the crazy traffic of motorbikes. You know we started traveling to gili Air and then

in their place to other islands and now we're in Flores [Island] right now which honestly has been such an

Incredible place

And we started moving went to lombok and then we went to Kuta. We got on our boat

It about all over the place

And I felt like we were running from something and this is sinking feeling like is this whole thing [just] about

getting away

People are just so incredibly nice here

This Island has so much untouched beauty to it

And I think that is something that we've been searching for is that kind of untouched feeling?

Islands here in the beaches here have way less plastic than anywhere else that we've been which a very sad thing [to] say that a [beach]

has the less plastics and other beaches can't believe I'm even talking about that

But that's the reality of things these [days]

is that every single Beach out there is polluted with trash and plastics from human being so

We're destroying our planet people gotta do something about it

You're going be trekking today

but it is hard, but

hiking up

Climbed to the top of the Mountain and it was worth it

You know when we got here to Flores

Energy for me from the Earth and from the people [and] from the water everything it was so special

And finally look at each other

We're like three four weeks into our trip and we finally feel [like] we made it to where we wanted

And that that maybe we start asking questions about. What is it were actually looking for and that's when it hit me

We're not running from anything

were Running to something

I saw these

Children playing the other day, and they're playing with no shoes on and they're so happy like they're just jumping around this weird rock

they

Don't have any toys. You know

[they're]

They had some weird sticks they were playing with or something and it really

Brought a lot of memories to me because I know we haven't really shared our past on Youtube yet

And I'm sure mark, and I will do something a little bit more

detailed to kind of

you know tell you guys where we come [from] for those of you that are interested in learning about our history [and] [our] past but

for me personally

I was born in Siberia in Russia a very small Village in Siberia and

my parents actually ended up moving to ukraine and that's where I ended up growing up and at the age of 10 my

Family my mom my dad my brother we ended up immigrating to Vancouver Canada

So I spent you know the first [10] years of my childhood

living in this Village in ukraine a very small small Village and

In the life that we had in ukraine it was very

Special and when I see these children

Playing I can't help but have like Nostalgia and memories come back to me when I was little

Living and growing up in the ukraine it just kind of made me realize [that]

We and you know in North America

We sometimes think that you know as we get money and for us to be happy we have to

buy the newest iphone and we need to

Give our children all the newest toys and gadgets and all this stuff

[now] we don't need people don't need

stuff

stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff things to make yourself happy and

I think about home

In that sense of home and yeah, [Toronto's] not home anymore

And I think it was only home because I needed a place to call home. I felt like I needed something

Something that would make me [feel]

Like I have a place

And then I think I'm coming is starting to come to grips with the [idea] that you don't need to have a place

just need be comfortable with yourself

in this existence and this life sometimes maybe we should just step take a step back and think about what you really need and

How [can] you bring happiness into your lives without having to go and spend money on it?

[you] know sometimes the real happiness is taking your family to a park and having a picnic and

Just spending time together and creating memories together doesn't have to be

Anything to do with money or spending money?

Mark, and I've always had [a] weird thing about Valentine's day

It's a holiday that people create it

So you could buy more things you don't need a day to tell someone you love them by buying them

The latest necklace like just tell them [that] you love them

Spend time with them spend quality time with them. That's real love that. That's the true connection of human being and

not

Thing that in a year will be worthless to you, or you'll one upgrade it or make it better

Now people keep saying online

Oh, you guys are on a spiritual journey, and I kind of I don't really understand what that means a spiritual journey

but

It's starting to become clear that

We are seeking we're not leaving

We are learning and growing

as

these things fall away from

So we saw some dragons

they're crazy

Guide is a incredibly casual

You're like

trying to get a

saw some Deer, Pigs saw three Komodo dragons

with their tongues

Now is something you can poke a hole in in this life or in

Someone else and or in yourself, and that served me down some dark loads throughout my time poking holes in my own hypocrisy

But you know i gotta focus

And we all have to focus on the things we're doing right and the things that we're doing that are good and each day

Saying what can I do today

that will make me a little bit better than I i was yesterday

Physically mentally our impact

Our footprints that we're leaving behind

the energy or we're putting our energy into

What job we work?

And what we're doing after the job

To balance ourselves out because lord knows sitting at a desk and staring at a computer screen if we're doing any of us any good

If we do it for 12 hours a day, I guess I'm really passionate

Maybe that's what's happened. Something's woken inside of me. I got some shit to do

And this is all

Coming to an end when we're finding our place

And find our place to call home again

There's a lot. I [need] you that I haven't done

But I love it

I love the people place [with] everything in this country if you get a chance to come to Indonesia you do

Don't just go to bali

experience more

Experience in all that you do and I'm starting to understand how [that] experience

Can give you a little bit of space and a little bit of perspective?

to reflect

And then it will change

What you put out to the world?

its a beautiful feeling

This country is beautiful this country is unbelievable it has taught us a lot and has tested us a lot

but it's been a beautiful experience so now we're [offering] to Malaysia and

stay tuned

Sometimes we've just got to stop all the noise

And just let [herself] feel it's really really important

Something I'm really really learning

1999-2004 Mustang Axial Sequential LED Tail Lights Review & Install - Duration: 3:36.

Hey guys, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com, here with a review and install of the Axial

Sequential LED Tail Lights with a smoked red lens.

These tail lights will fit all '99 to '04 Mustangs except the '99 to '01 Cobras.

These are an LED upgrade with built in built turn signal sequential ability that have

right smoke lenses for that dark appearance that aren't blacked out and they're a direct

plug and play upgrade so you won't have to worry about any wiring with the install.

Because these do offer a lot of upgrades, they're gonna be for someone who doesn't mind

spending a little bit more on tail lights for their car, and considering their looks,

they're also gonna be for someone that wants more of a unique look.

I'll start off by saying that of course, tail lights are a styling item, so people are either

gonna love 'em or they're not gonna like 'em that much.

Axial does offer a handful of different tail light options with different styles if you

don't like the looks of these ones.

And if you're looking for a tail light like this but you don't want the smoked lenses,

Axial offers these same tail lights without the smoked lenses if you prefer that instead.

But getting into some of the big features with these tail lights, they do have built-in

sequential turn signals.

That means that when the turn signal is activated, the tail lights will sequence from the center

light out.

This is a popular feature.

Everyone wants that sequential ability and you won't have to purchase the sequencer separately

for these tail lights.

I will say though that the turn signals are the only part of the tail light that have

this ability.

The tail lights will not sequence when the brakes are applied or when the hazard lights

are on.

Another big feature is gonna be the LED lighting upgrade.

The LED lights are gonna be much brighter than the factory bulbs are.

Both the brake and the reverse modes feature multiple high intensity LEDs.

If anything, that's gonna add some comfort with the tinted lenses that these tail lights

have.

The LEDs can shine through the tinted lens without any problems.

And since we're talking about the lenses, we can dive into the styling of the tail lights,

is having black housing with a smoked red lens.

The fact that these have red lenses and that they're smoked will give them a little bit

of a different look than just a clear lens that was smoked.

The three red inner [SP] LED diffusers also help change the look here, almost like the

S550 diffusers or Retro 60 Tri-Bar look.

And what you end up with is a stealthy look in my opinion, but without having to go with

a completely blacked out light.

These tail lights are gonna fit '99 to '04 V6, GTs, Bullets, and Mach 1s, but also fit

the '03 to '04 Cobras, but they're not gonna fit the '99 to '01 Cobras with the amber turn

signals.

These tail lights have a lot of features and upgrades, and so they're gonna come with one

of the bigger price tags.

You can expect to pay a touch over the $350 mark for these.

You can find a set of tail lights for less but they're not gonna be the direct plug and

play install with sequential turn signals and an LED upgrade all in one.

When it comes to the install, you can expect to spend an hour or two, and this is gonna

be a one outta three wrenches in the difficulty meter.

You need a few hand tools but just basic items.

The rear trunk liner will only need to be removed so you can remove the nuts that are

holding the tail light in place.

You can disconnect the tail light and push the rubber wire grommet in through the rear

of the car.

The tail lights will then be ready to be removed from the car.

You need to transfer the wire grommet over to the new tail lights and then start the

new harness through the car.

The new harness will simply plug in to the factory harness and you won't have to do any

wiring.

At this point, I would place the tail light into its spot and test the tail lights before

bolting them back down just to make sure they're working properly.

After testing, you're just looking at bolting the tail lights back into place and replacing

the trunk liner.

Wrapping things up here with the Axial Sequential LED Tail Lights, these tail lights will fit

all '99 to '04 Mustangs except the '99 to '01 Cobras, and you can check them out more

online right here at americanmuscle.com.
