Hello friends myself Poonam Delhia, I welcome you all to my kitchen
Today we are going to make Corn Paneer Crostini.
Crostini is different word which is part of a sandwich
Subject of sandwich I would say
Generally we make open sandwiches or we take help of other bread and cover it, bake it, toast it or even grilling
Crostini is also a kind of open sandwich
But its served in small biting, here I've cut down a bread slice in small shape, you can cut into any desired shape
Or you can buy bugget , hot dog and cut it into thinly or medium thick slice in slanting shape and can serve.
Let's prepare filling, taking 1 tbsp olive oil in the pan
If you want you can take regular oil or can add little butter as well
Adding 1 finely chopped onion and garlic
Oil is heat up, let's saute the onions
Saute them on the high flame but make sure that their colour doesn't get changed
Adding 1 tsp finely chopped garlic, some chopped green chilli
Once this mixture is saute well, then we'll add other ingredients
Onions are saute, now its time to add other ingredients .
1/4 cup boiled yellow corn, 1/4 cup finely chopped cottage cheese (Paneer)
1 cup blanched and finely chopped spinach.
1/4 tsp black pepper and salt to taste
Mix all the ingredients
You can do many variations in fillings as per your taste and liking
You can add your favourite vegetables like carrot ,
With all the ingredients saute our filling is ready
So let's transfer to another bowl, the colour looks so bright
Till the time filling is getting cool down, meanwhile we'll lightly toast these bread slices.
In the same pan apply good amount of butter
Crostini are great to serve during your dinner or lunch parties as a starter or as a tea time snacks
Till the time its light brown from both the sides we'll toast them
If you want you can toast them prior or can bake them in OTG
Let's check whether the Crostini are ready
Yes they are ready, nice, crispy and golden brown..
We'll remove these toasted Crostini in the plate
A spoonful of good helping of our filling in each Crostini
We'll place the Crostini on the serving plate
I've added some cheese spread in this piping bag
So we'll drizzle some cheese spread on it to make it nice and pretty
you can also use mayonnaise if you like.
So our Corn Paneer Crostini are ready.
