St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 1:17, "Christ

did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel."

Many evangelicals see this passage as an indication

that baptism is not necessary for salvation.

But is this true?

The answer's no and here are some reasons why.

First, Paul doesn't mean, "I don't have

authorization to baptize."

Because if he did mean that, then he would have acted

in disobedience when he baptized Crispus,

Gaius, and the household of Stephanus, which

he tells us about in the preceding verses.

Do we want to say that the great Apostle Paul

was disobedient to Jesus' instruction?

Of course not!

Furthermore, it doesn't make sense that

Paul would not have a mandate to baptize when

Jesus tells all the apostles in Matthew 28:19-20

to go into all the nations and make

disciples by baptizing them.

So, what did Paul mean?

It's much more likely Paul was using hyperbole

in order to stress two important things:

One, the focus of his ministry was to preach the

invitation to salvation and not so much the

response to the invitation, namely baptism;

and two, it doesn't matter by whom you're

baptized—whether it's Cephas, Apollos,

or Paul—it's the same baptism and every

Christian belongs to Christ.

This is topic of the preceding verses leading

up to the verse in question.

So, Paul doesn't intend for his readers

to think baptism is not necessary for

salvation in 1 Corinthians 1:17.

That's simply a misunderstanding of the text.

Media To Trump Don't Cozy Up To Dictators Unless They're The Right Dictators - Duration: 6:06.

Media To Trump Don't Cozy Up To Dictators (Unless They're The Right Dictators)

by Tyler Durden

Authored by Adam Johnson via FAIR.org (Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting),

After a series of friendly gestures by President Donald Trump toward Filipino President Rodrigo

Duterte and Egypts Abdel Fattah el-Sisi over the past few months, US media have recoiled

with disgust at the open embrace of governments that ostensibly had heretofore been beyond

the pale.

Enabling Egypts President Sisi, an Enemy of Human Rights, was the New York Times

editorial position (4/4/17)followed by Donald Trump Embraces Another Despot

(5/1/17).

A week later, Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.) lectured Secretary of State Rex Tillerson

on the Times op-ed page (5/8/17) on Why We Must Support Human Rights.

How Trump Makes Dictators Stronger was Washington Post columnist Anne Applebaums

lament (5/1/17).

Trump keeps praising international strongmen, alarming human rights advocates, reported

an upset Philip Rucker (Washington Post, 5/2/17).

Post contributor Tom Toles (5/2/17) added, Trump invites ruthless dictators to the

White House. Trump had gone too far, was the media message, crossing a line with his

enthusiastic outreach to brutal tyrants.

So the Trump administrations announcement of a plan for not just a friendly visit to

Saudi Arabiascheduled for May 2021but also the sale of up to $300 billion in weapons

to the oppressive regime, must have provoked the same outcry from these critics, right?

Actually, no.

Thus far, the LA Times, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC and CBS havent reported on Trumps

massive arms deal with Saudi Arabia, much less had a pundit or editorial board condemn

it.

Saudi Arabias war on Yemen has killed at least 10,000 civilians, resulted in near-famine

conditions for 7 million people and led to a deadly cholera epidemicall made possible

with US weapons and logistical support.

John McCain, whose New York Times op-ed was unironically shared by dozens of high-status

pundits, aggressively backs Saudi Arabias brutal bombing of Yemen, and has called for

increased military support to the absolute monarchy.

The New York Times hasnt written an editorial about Saudi Arabia since October of last year

(10/1/16), when, for the second time in the span of a week, the paper defended the regime

against potential lawsuits over its role in the 9/11 attacks.

When the Times does speak out on the topic of Saudi Arabia, it does so to run interference

for its possible connection to international terrorism.

Nice words to the wrong dictators unleash a torrent of outrage from our pundit class.

Nice words to the right dictatorsalong with billions in military hardware, which

unlike nice words will be used to continue to slaughter residents of a neighboring country

and suppress domestic dissentresult in uniform silence.

Not a word from Anne Applebaum, no condemnation from Philip Rucker, no moral preening from

Sen. John McCain, no sense that any line had been crossed from the New York Times editorial

board.

The USs warm embrace and arming of the Saudis is factored in, its bipartisan,

and thus not worthy of outrage.

While the New York Times news pages did note the $100 billion$300 billion Saudi

weapons sale, they did so in passing, in paragraph six of a broader article about Trumps Middle

East trip (5/15/17)though to his credit, reporter Nick Cumming-Bruce did note:

criticism that the United States is supporting Saudi military operations that have struck

hospitals, schools, markets and mosques and inflicted thousands of civilian casualties.

The Washington Post (5/17/17) reported on the arms deal in paragraph 12 of a story about

Trump attempting to create an Arab NATO.

The Posts reporting on Saudi Arabia in the run-up to Trumps visit echoed the reformist

narrative advanced by Post columnist David Ignatius (FAIR.org, 4/28/17).

It seems promising, Cairo bureau chief Sudarsan Raghavan (5/12/17) wrote of the Saudi

Kings calls for reform.

Editorial page editor Jackson Diehl (5/14/17) even suggested in earnest that Trump could

lead on human rights, finishing off his sheepish, somewhat self-aware headline

with Really. In the piece, human rights is used as a placeholder for getting

US citizens out of foreign prisonsa perfectly fine suggestion, but more about US rights

than human ones.

And, like the Posts editorial board and the rest of the opinion section, Diehls

musing on the topic of human rights entirely omitted Trumps cozying up to Saudi Arabia.

This isnt to say that major US media shouldnt note when US leaders glad-hand despotic governmentsthey

certainly should.

But their almost uniform silence on Trumps ramping up ties with one of the worlds

worst human rights offenders, and the material, physical act of selling them munitions to

use on Yemeni civilians, speaks to the arbitrary and self-serving nature of

US medias moral posture.

How to Model (Sculpt) a Polar Bear in Clay - Narrated - Duration: 6:03.

Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will model a polar bear in clay.

These are the tools that we will be using.

And this piece of clay.

Which we cut, making a short rectangle.

The sculpture will not be in full detail, it will be

like a sketch in clay.

Then we wrap it, forming a sort of cylinder.

And we add another lump for the head.

Our bear will be sitting, so let´s add some clay for the hind

legs on the sides.

And we start carving out the shape, taking some clay from the top…

and from the face.

We roughly shape the snout.

I use a lot both, my fingers

and the tools.

I will take off some of clay from the head and from the neck.

All right!

Although our bear, I think is looking more like a seal right now [laughter].

But we will remedy that.

Yes, definitely the neck is too thin.

We add some clay on the back for the shoulder blades,

they pop up because there is a lot of weight, supported

by the front legs.

We make a line... the back leg is only arriving to this point.

And we build it front one by adding clay, and then rounding it a bit.

We form the first paw and let´s model the legs on the other side.

Like this.

The back one goes here.

It´s pretty rounded when it is on this position.

And the upper part sticks out to the side.

And the front leg.

Right here.

The part of the chest between the two front legs, goes in.

It is a slight recess.

On the upper part there is --ah-- fluffy skin [laughter].

To sculpt this, I have several reference photos, and even a polar

bear video that I´m watching because unlike in a drawing or painting

where you can solve it with one picture, here you are modeling from every

angle, 360 around and even from the top and underneath. So you need

a lot of references, or at least I do!

Maybe artists that are more familiar with this beautiful animals

don´t need as me.

The snout is a bit like a tube or rectangle, and then the head is wider.

We do the eyes here, and the ears.

Which are short and rounded.

As I mentioned in my recent tutorial about how to draw a polar bear

made of ice, because of expected habitat loss, caused by climate change

the polar bear is classified as a vulnerable species

their habitat which is the sea ice

the frozen sea

it´s shrinking every year.

We need to take care of this!

Behind the eyes there is a bone that protutes a little bit, we add this.

Let´s also add the other one over here.

And we add a little bit here... and then smudge it.

The mouth…

this metal tool is actually a Dentist tool [laughter].

While this wooden one, with a wire… that is for sculpting

and modeling.

The list of materials is in the description under the video.

Here are the paws.

They are pretty thick.

And fluffy [laughter].

At least they look fluffy I am sure, they are so strong.

I invite you to subscribe to my long tutorials on my Patreon account.

Ok, we are done with the bear I´ll take it off to make the base.

Oops I almost destroyed it!

But he is ok don´t worry.

I´m making a flat iceberg which will be the base for the bear.

The idea is as if he were floating on this little iceberg.

As you see I also use a painting spatula to do straight cuts.

Large or also can be small, like the texture on the ice.

And this wooden knife which is my favorite tool!

And the one I use the most.

Since it is harder to model the bear with the head turning, I modeled it straight,

and now we can turn it.

¡Excelente!

I love modeling!

The last touches and it´s ready!

If you enjoyed it please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends and subscribe

to Fine Art-Tips and to Patreon.

You know where to follow me, the links are below.

And I will see you on Tuesday :)

FDA WebsiteDTap Vaccine Can Cause Autism - Health - Duration: 6:53.

FDA Website: DTap Vaccine Can Cause Autism

The FDA have published conclusive evidence on their website that the DTap vaccine causes

autism.

According to the FDAs online Biologics Blood Vaccines document, between pages 6 to

11 [now removed from the website screenshots included below], a vaccine manufacturer admits

on its package insert that their vaccination can cause autism as one of many adverse reactions.

Healthawarenessforall.com reports:

Adverse events reported during post-approval use of Tripedia vaccine include idiopathic

thrombocytopenic purpura, SIDS, anaphylactic reaction, cellulitis, autism, convulsion/grand

mal convulsion, encephalopathy, hypotonia, neuropathy, somnolence and apnea.

Events were included in this list because of the seriousness or frequency of reporting.

Because these events are reported voluntarily from a population of uncertain size, it is

not always possible to reliably estimate their frequencies or to establish a causal relationship

to components of Tripedia vaccine.

It should be noted that:

Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Concentrates (For Further Manufacturing Use) are produced by

The Research Foundation for Microbial Diseases of Osaka University (BIKEN), Osaka, Japan,

under United States (US) license, and are combined with diphtheria and tetanus toxoids

manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur Inc.

Tripedia vaccine is filled, labeled, packaged, and released by Sanofi Pasteur Inc.

Whats in Tripedia that probably can interfere with brain chemistry and neurology?

According to the Tripedias package insert, some ingredients include: Bovine extract,

formaldehyde used to inactivate microorganisms a couple of times, ammonium sulfate, aluminum

potassium sulfate, 2 growth mediums: modified Mueller and Miller is one; the other is Stainer-Scholte

medium.

Mueller and Miller medium, according to the information I found, contains:

glucose, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic, monopotassium, phosphate, magnesium

sulfate hydrate, ferrous sulfate heptaphydrate, cystine hydrochloride, tyrosine hydrochloride,

urasil hydrochloride, Ca-pantothenate in ethanol, thiamine in ethanol, pyridoxin-hydrochloride

in ethanol, riboflavin in ethanol, biotin in ethanol, sodium hydroxide, beef heart infusion

(de- fatted beef heart and distilled water), casein [milk protein] solution.

basically a mixture of sugar, salt, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals

While Stainer-Scholte medium has the following ingredients:

Tris hydrochloride, tris base, glutamate (monosodium salt) [MSG], proline, salt, monopotassium

phosphate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, ferrous sulfate, asorbic

acid, niacin, glutathione

The vaccine is formulated without preservatives, but contains a trace amount of thimerosal[(mercury

derivative), (=0.3 g mercury/dose)] from the manufacturing process.

Each 0.5 mL dose also contains, by assay, not more than 0.170 mg of aluminum and not

more than 100 g(0.02%) of residual formaldehyde.

The vaccine contains gelatin and polysorbate 80 (Tween-80), which are used in the production

of the pertussis concentrate.

Probable cause ingredients for adverse reactions especially neurological, in

my opinion, include: casein, to which some children are allergic; MSG  an excitotoxin;

thimerosal-ethylmercury; aluminum; formaldehyde; gelatin; and polysorbate 80.

Now that we have at least one vaccine manufacturer leveling with the medical profession, why

arent pediatricians, nurses, and all medical personnel, plus the media, not telling parents

and guardians that the DTaP vaccine has caused autism and also telling parents ALL the adverse

effects that appear in vaccine package inserts?

To take the vaccine debacle further, most of the mandated vaccines for infants and children,

contain many of the above ingredients, which must be stopped from being injected into infants,

toddlers, teens and even adults!

Its time for Congress to rescind the Get out of Jail Free card for vaccine makers

and stop the aggressive onslaught of the Autism Spectrum Disorder [1 in 45 kids (2015)] that

is depriving children of a fulfilling life and ruining families emotionally, financially,

and physically to the point of parents divorcing because of the stresses of ASD in a family.

To really understand the vaccine conundrum, plus crimes of fraudulent science, data, and

skullduggery, readers should know that the new motion picture documentary VAXXED is being

released April 1st, 2016.

For information on how you can get your local movie theater to show it, heres the link

for the movie on how to get it distributed to theaters.

Its about time vaccines are publicly acknowledged by the feds and the media for all the health

damages they have caused.

Just check out the CDCs VAERS reports and the vaccine damage payouts by the HHS/HRSA;

see pages 5 and 9.

A grand total of $3,325,248,027.02 thats Billions! have been paid for vaccine adverse

reactions and deaths from 1989 to 2016 so far.

Heres an excerpt from approved vaccines by the FDA and their adverse events.

Adverse events reported during post-approval use of Tripedia vaccine include idiopathic

thrombocytopenic purpura, SIDS, anaphylactic reaction, cellulitis, autism, convulsion/grand

mal convulsion, encephalopathy, hypotonia, neuropathy, somnolence and apnea.

WARUM IN EINER METALBAND SPIELEN SO SCHOCKT! + BANDUPDATE - Duration: 5:42.

Good guys, Here is a Little update!

why aren't too many Videos at the moment

on this beautiful morning

finding peace

wasn't too easy for me, These days

because my band released a new Music video

link is down below

furthermore we'll start out tour on thursday

through europe

so I had to put my time in there the last weeks

we had a lot of rehearsels

I had to practice the new songs

and thus I didn't find any time for videos

especially cutting

Shooting Videos is one Thing, but cutting them is another

Anyways, there will be more Videos in the future

I will vlog on the tour

to Keep you updated, what I am doing in which cities

what I am going to eat

and so on, so be stoked!

What I am also doing: I filmed a few Videos of my dads acoustic duo

and I am cutting that material, too, at the moment

like I said before, on the tour, I will vlog a lot !

Many of you might have wondered before: METAL ?

Why does such a calm and normal guy Play in a metal band?

So I thought, I could tell you about that in this short Video!

How I found Metal

and why it is so much fun to Play in a metal band

my first CD was "Die Fantastischen Vier - Unplugged"

But then somehow I found out about punk rock and stuff by listening to Music at my Buddy Freddy's house

(his older brother's Music, to be precise)

Bands like Guano Apes, Blink 182, Sum 41, Limb Bizkit

And I totally loved that Kind of Music from that Moment on

and then one day

my godfather, Michael,

who is a real WACKEN veteran

(he has been going to WACKEN since the second one in 1990)

introduced me to harder music

"Listen to this, listen to that"

So I found bands like Slipknot, 36 Crazyfists

and then it hit me. I loved the shouts and screams and the atmosphere

and SLIPKNOT's masks

I also started reading a metal magazine

I continued listening to more bands and so one

at that time, I was also quite insular about other genres

like a real Metalhead, even if I didn't look like one

because I didn't like the look

but concerning the Music, I was very insular

which is definitely not like that anymore, nowadays

I listen to other stuff, too!

But why Metal makes so much fun, playing in a band is

the Passion and the action

as a Drummer you really have to give it all

I really started playing in bands, ten years ago

pretty much all the time with my Boy Cenki

who you might know from the Banana bread video

which brings us back to "hard work pays off"

after 10 years of working hard, Things are coming back to us

We have also signed a contract with "redfield digital" which belongs to "redfield records"

the tour Begins and we have so much more stuff planned for the future

and between all the excitement, it is quite nice to find a Moment of silence

anyways... METAL

or whatever you wanna call that genre

it is just so much fun

the Action, the passion

you might have seen a few excerpts from some of the live videos

so you could get the idea

other than that

if anyone in Kiel wants to see us live:

on the 22.06.17 we are playing in Kiel on the "junge Bühne" (Kieler Woche) between 6 and 6:40 pm

this is an opportunity to see us live in Kiel

How wants to do that? I'll remember you! ;)

I will now enjoy this silence for a bit

before I have to go back to University, later

don't worry, there will be more Videos!

I am super stoked as soon as there is some quiet

Mel Robbins: Get to Know Your Brain (Entrepreneur) - Duration: 2:34.

and it all depends on you and what you

need to know is it's not you that's the

problem it's your brain and the problem

with your brain is your brain only has

two modes that's it and it loves one of

the modes and it hates the other one and

the first mode that your brain has is

your brain loves to operate on autopilot

okay autopilot is when your brain can do

what's called lower-level

processing you know how when you drive

to work or you drive home you know after

running errands and you pull in and you

go oh who drove the car you did it's

just that you drove the same way every

time and so your brain can check out

your brain love that mode in fact your

brain will try to get you into autopilot

however it can and your life can start

to look like the entire thing is on

autopilot you wake up at the same time

you see the person you saw last night

you stand up you walk into the bathroom

you brush your teeth you go into the

kitchen you see the same people that you

said goodnight to you have one of two

breakfast you have either the Greek

yogurt with some stuff on top or you got

some cereal then you get on your laptop

you check Facebook you look at what

Valles is doing you send some emails you

check Facebook again you then make some

phone calls you pretend to look busy you

think about all the people that you

could possibly contact for this business

and then you say now I don't want to I

don't want to be pushy I don't want to

do this I'm not going to do that I'll do

it later I'll see them next week I'm not

going to do it now you check Facebook

again then you have lunch and you have

what one of the same two things you have

a salad with a protein on top or you get

a wrap perhaps and then in the afternoon

maybe you squeeze an exercise maybe it

don't you check Facebook you're on

errands you pick up the kids you check

Facebook you then come home you see the

same people you saw in the morning you

talk about the same stuff that you

talked about in the morning you have

pizza Chinese or you make some sort of

chicken dish then you turn on the TV and

you watch the same type of shows that

you watch every single night you then

say good night to everybody you climb in

bed next to the person that you love and

you say knots an item to tired

so every single day it's the same thing

and your brain loves this by the way

because it doesn't have to work very

hard

[Music]

you
