Salmon Recipe quick and easy - Duration: 7:23.

chef buck here and tonight we're

going to cook up a maple glazed salmon

in fact we've already kind of got it

going what we're going to have to do is

go back in time to the beginning

how do they do it on Wayne's world?

smells good already ...yeah but we still got to go

back in time..... right

welcome to salmon time

just picked this up at the market boom I'm

going to give it a quick wash in the

sink and then Pat it dry so I gave it a

quick wash in the sink and there we have

it I'm going to throw a wee little bit

of olive oil on here and I'm going to

cover it with oil the skin side and the

flesh side I like to leave the skin on I

like to cook it with the skin that's a

great flavor and a great texture when

you have that crispy skin on there run

got a few bones in here see if I can

pull these out see if I can manhandle

these bones out

not too shabby now going to keep it

super simple just some light seasonings

and some of the bones you don't feel oh

yeah you don't feel those bones usually

until they're caught in your craw and

then you get a bone in your crawl it's

all over so we're doing some simple

seasonings I had a little smoked

paprika some garlic powder and a little

bit of salt and pepper mix these up

boom boom boom

throw that on there outside that's it

definitely going to season both sides

and have a lot of flavor on here let's

season I'm in

all right come on over here to the stove

camera girl

I already got my burner heating up there

and I got a skillet that's safe on top

of the stove and also is the oven safe

because we're going to be cooking on the

stovetop but then we're also going to

broil it in the oven a little bit

we want crispy skin so we're

going to crisp up the skin here in the

skillet we haven't done anything to our

fish just a little bit olive oil a

little bit of seasonings you know you

can be very flexible with the seasonings

we just walk home with this from the

store so we didn't just pull it out of

the fridge so it's kind of at room

temperature you know ideally

you don't want to throw ice-cold piece

of fish on here

camera girl already made this

it's kale and some veggies

we're going to mix up to go with these

here but whatever you're going to have

for dinner with your fish go ahead and

have it ready you know do that stuff

first of this fish is only going to take

maybe let's look how thin this fish is

there's a lot the total cooking time for

this is maybe going to be five minutes

so I think my skillets probably hot

enough now wait another second because

you don't want to put it on you don't

want to put your fish on here until your

oil - sizzling and ready to go so I'm

going to lay this down here and we're

going to sizzle the skin up all righty

getting close camera girl and capture

the splendor

and I'm not going to fool with this I'm

just going to let it sit in here for

maybe three minutes alright this is to

go for about three minutes see the

starting to creep up being done or maybe

you can't see but that's okay

so I got a metal spatula and I'm going

to loosen the skin off of the bottom of

the skillet real quick

so I freed my salmon now I'm going to

take this and I've already got the

boiler going boom I'm going to throw it

in there

I'll broiled it up for about two minutes

it's been going for a

couple of minutes and whenever you're

cooking a salmon like this make

sure and have an oven mit when you pull

that pan out of there and leave it on

so many times I grab the

pan not thinking about it we're going to

go ahead and cook this for one more

minute but I'm going to go ahead and put

some maple syrup on here so we'll get a

little maple glaze going

lots of maple syrup...why not

we could decide if we wanted a piece of

pie or piece of fish so we thought we'd

maple glaze up some salmon that would be just

like fish pie...one more minute then

we'll be ready still get a little

syrup in here u wanna lick this bowl yeah

all right it's been one minute ...got mt

magic mitt ...and that's all there is to it

some maple glazed salmon and a nice

crispy skin you got a nice sweet top see

let me get a little plate and a random

piece of fish fell off...i'll put it on there

Oh crispy yeah I'll take it

now the key when you're having one piece

of fish for two people is to as best as

you can cut it into even slices all

right so we got our our little

greens to go with our fish we'll just

lay our fish on there very pretty like

that's all there is to this fish you

know just a little bit of seasoning

and crisp up that skin on top of

the stove throw it in your oil slap

on a little maple syrup on there for a

nice little sweet cheat you could mix up

some maple syrup with some soy sauce

maybe even a little bit of mustard but

fish is very versatile super easy to

prepare just takes a few moments you

know the key is you know make sure your

salad or whatever you're going to have

with it you've already got that made

because that fish is going to be done so

fast and you're going to want to eat it

while it's hot so if you want to print

the recipe go to my food channel dot com

I'll have a link down below and you can

check it out and go give the video a

thumbs up and like it and I love it if

you want to you know be kind of your

family and friends do some exercise

get your summer beach body like

we're doing I know we put maple syrup on

here but it's still better than a cookie

maybe but we'll probably have a cookie

- that's it we'll see you in the future

buh-bye

so let's give it the taste test

Bionic Athletes Are the Future of Humanity - Duration: 3:43.

Technology for performance.

So a few awesome things happening.

The concept for the bionic boot

came around when I was twelve

years old watching a natural

history program on kangaroos

and look at their mechanical

principles in terms of leverage

and elastic energy storage.

So a normal human walks at around

4 miles an hour, jogs about 8.

A marathon runner runs at

about 14-15 miles an hour,

I can reach up to 20-25

miles an hour.

I'm trying to push the

capabilities further, possibly

to 40-45 miles an hour.

The athlete of the future looks

like somebody who has a deep

understanding of their body

and how their body performs in

competition. How their body

performs in training,

And how to optimize it,

get the most out of training to

make sure that they are the best

on game day.

You look at the long history of

humans like we've always been

participating in our own

evolution towards,

to being a better species,

but we do more

in the next decade than

we've done the last 100 years.

13 Spanish slang words to speak like a Latin American - Duration: 5:37.

Hi! I'm Mildred from the

MosaLingua team. In this video,

I'm going to share 13 slang expressions

commonly used in my country, Columbia,

and in other countries in Latin America.

Let's start with 'chévere,'

which is used in both Venezuela

and Columbia to describe a thing

or a situation that is great, awesome,

or interesting. In other countries,

like Peru, we would say "¡bravaso¡" or

"¡chido¡" in Mexico. If a friend asks you

"¿Cómo te pareció la película?"

You could respond "¡Muy chévere!" On the other hand,

if you want to say that something isn't good

or doesn't meet your

expectations,

you could use the word "fiasco," for example: "El concierto

fue un completo fiasco,

el sonido no fue bueno." In Chile and

Argentina, they use the expression "al toque"

to mean right now, or quickly.

In Peru, this expression is used when you want something

right away.

For example: "Necesito que termines esta

tarea al toque." Peruvians also say,

"Corre al toque que nos deja el micro"

When you're making plans, and you want to

make sure everything is

under control and

avoid any possible mishaps, you can use

the phrase: "por si las moscas."

It literally means "for if the flies,"

or "just in case you come across flies in your

path!" So if a friend asks you:

"¿Llevamos comida para el viaje?"

You could answer: "Sí, por si las moscas."

"In case we don't find a restaurant

on the way." If during a conversation,

for one reason or another,

you don't understand what someone

says or asks you, some

Latinos would say "dime" to ask the person

to repeat what they just

said. In Mexico and Ecuador however, they would

probably say "mande" instead.

So let's recap what we just learned:

"dime" and "por si las moscas."

You might say: "Deberíamos

llevar más dinero por si las moscas."

And the person you are talking to might respond:

- ¿Dime? No te escuches." In Argentina,

they use the word 'boludo(a)' to describe

someone who did something stupid or that doesn't make sense.

In Columbia, a synonym for boludo(a)

is 'bola.' For example: ¡Que boludo eres¡

olvidaste traer los tennis para jugar

baloncesto." But this doesn't mean that

the person looks like a

pool ball or a snowball.

On the other hand, in Columbia, if you want to

give a smart or handy person

a compliment, you would say "pilo(a)." When talking about

money,

in particular $1 bills

in Latin America,

we use the word "luca."

To say $1,000 pesos, we say 1 luca. Just take off

the zeros, and replace them with

the word "luca". For 2 dollars or more,

just add an

"s" to the end.

So the plural would be "lucas." For example,

$15,000 pesos is 15 lucas. So if you ever need

to ask someone to borrow some money, you'd say:

- "Préstame 10 lucas ($10,000 pesos/bolívares/soles) te las devuelvo

tan pronto pueda." If you're fighting with

someone or trying to settle a disagreement,

and you succeed,

you would say 'hicimos las paces.' For example:

"Mi novio y yo peleamos ayer, pero hoy después

de hablar seriamente hicimos

las paces."

If you are trying to clarify or get to

the bottom of something with someone,

you would use the expression: "ir al grano."

So: "Deberías ir al grano,

si te quieres ir ya de la fiesta

está bien, sólo dímelo." The person

you are talking to might

respond: "La verdad sí me quiero ir ya, estoy muerto."

In this context, "estar muerto"

does not mean that your friend's

heart has stopped beating. It just means

that they are "dead" tired, or exhausted. Most

Latinos

use the word "cachás," which means

to understand. In

Chile, the word is similar: "cachái."

So, if you want to say:

"¿si entiendes lo que tu amigo te dijo?

You'd say: ¿Si cachás lo que tu amigo

te dijo?" Just replace the word

'entiendes' with "cachás." Columbians

use the term "traga" to talk about a person

they love, or are in love with,

but are not dating… For

example: "Él fue mi traga por muchos

años,

menos mal ya lo olvidé." But if you are talking about

mutual or reciprocated love, in Peru they say

"enamorado(a)," in Chile, "pololo(a)," and in Cuba, "jevo(a)."

Malibu Wines Safari | Wine Tasting & Feeding Stanley The Giraffe - Duration: 10:02.

OMG. Stanley,

your tongue is purple and huge.

I love how he wraps his tongue around.

Yeah. Carrie, get your hand

out of there.

He's going to suck your arm in.

He'll eat you.

Today's going to be a super fun day.

We're going wine tasting

in the Santa Monica Mountains.

But, first we need to get over

to where we're getting picked up,

which is at Carrie's house in Silver Lake.

We're going to take the bike over there,

and we are cutting it really close.

We could be late. Let's go.

Leaving my bike here.

Going to hop on the back of Alex's.

We're going to go butt to balls.

Good job.

Would you like to tip your moto-uber driver?

Yes, always tip your moto-uber driver.

So, driving is completed for the day.

Time to get off this motor bike

and get into wine mode.

As you can see,

wine- colored pants, just in case I spill.

All right, ladies and gentlemen.

We are on the bus.

I feel like we should introduce the

squadron because there're some new

faces here for some of you guys.

We have Eileen. Hi, everybody.

We have the lovely Cat.

Catrific. We've got Josh. Hi

We've got a Marko.

We've got a Carrie Rad. Yo!

And we have a rap music video.

I don't know.

That's why I was doing like>>>>

But we're also in a party bus, which

makes us feel like...awesome.

Yes, and I don't know. I kind of want to

just start breaking it down.

We're going to prom.

The plan for today is:

we're in a party bus,

and we're heading to Malibu

to the Santa Monica Mountains.

We're going to a vineyard;

we're going on a safari where

supposedly there're giraffes,

and we are celebrating

and having drinks all day.

It's going to be fun. Let's go.

Salud. Cheers, cheers, cheers.

Thank you, Tim.

No problem, anytime. Cheers.

I love your bike, man.

Thanks, dude. I love your bike.

Is that a 800? Yeah. An F- 800 GS.

We just got here. It's a super cool area.

If you're not familiar with the geography

of Los Angeles, the Santa Monica

Mountains, essentially run along the

entire northern side of the city,

This is the same mountain range

that has the Hollywood sign;

it has Griffith Obsevatory

and all these other landmarks.

It stretches up the coast.

This is not the southern most

wine making area in California;

there's also wine grown in Tecate

and then down in Baja, CA in Mexico.

It's a bit cooler here than in the

rest of the city.

We're next to the ocean.

We're going to go have some lunch,

and then hopefully learn more about

the wine making process here.

We're trying to do a Snapchat.

Supposedly, right now we are at

Malibu Wines, the tasting room

and then across the street later

is the infamous safari,

which is honestly the main thing

that I hear about this place.

Every time I hear people talking about

this place it's, " Dude, they've got giraffes."

Obviously, It's the indigenous

Californian giraffe.

Are you ready for this?

This is me, eating a sandwich.

OMG. You guys, we have the entire...

Where do we sit?

Like, the middle? Yes.

You can have a row each.

I'm going to stand in the front.

What's your name? Mike.

Mike. Welcome, guys.

We're going to go see some animals;

We're going to drink some wine;

We're going to feed Stanley, and then

we're going to have a little bit more wine.

Sounds good.

OMG. There's a bison.

This is the father. That's a buffalo.

He's coming to protect the little one,

right? No, he doesn't care.

Any of you been to Catalina?

Are these Catalina buffalo? yeah.

Wow. I resuced two of them because

they are used for their meat.

I think Catalina has excellent wine mixers.

They do.. Catalina wine mixers.

I heard that from the brothers, or something.

Vagabrothers, obviously.

Dixie.

Hello.

We want a llama.

This one really wants one.

OMG.

The bite.

You're so mean.

He was teasing it.

I need a better boomerang.

OMG. These animals are being

starved for your boomerang.

There's a baby zebra, Carrie.

That's a little bite.

You just bit me you little *ucker.

Cat, ready?

Hello.

Look at this.

National Register. Wow.

No way.

These are basically showing the

Portola Expedition, right?

These are called the Four Horsemen.

The Chumash had never seen

people on horseback before, and they

actually refer to them as their sun gods.

That's why this guy right here is actually

holding a tiny sun.

They thought they were a fusion of

horse and human.

The Portola Expedition was not the

friendliest type of expedition,

and these figures right underneath..

these bird-like things are actually

a battle plan.

It's infantry lined up right next to each

other that they illustrated as a bird.

All authentic. They date back

to the 1700s.

Do they carbon date all this?

Yes. UCLA did a dig, actually,

and actually found the remains of

a Chumash princess buried

up above these rocks.

That's so cool.

That's actually on display at UCLA.

It's fascinating and such a pleasant

surprise that on this tour, I was

totally not expecting to find something

as awesome and unique as this.

But the fact that there're cave paintings

and petroglyphs out here

that are hundreds of years old....

that show the arrival of the Spanish

into California....I think that's pretty

mind boggling and definitely

something I did not expect to

find or to see here on

this wine safari.

Pretty radical stuff.

So cool

Right now, to give you guys some

perspective, we're in the Santa Monica

Mountains. This is Mulholland Drive,

which is a famous road and great for

riding motorcycles.

Actually, Mulholland Highway,

not Drive. Really?

That's just a movie?

There's a big difference.

One's here and one is not here.

Am I being corrected by a Montrealer

Canadian? Yeah, you are.

Damn it. How do you know about this

than me? Mike, the tour guide, told me

about it, man. It's all good.

So Mulholland Highway?

We're on Mulholland Highway.

Mulholland Drive is in Calabasas.

Ok. Fine. You guys win.

Stanley is pretty sensitive.

He is a big animal. He's super strong,

so if you are screaming in his face....

No, we're not going to do that.

What do you think we are? Just saying.

Don't make Mike feel inferior.

He is a brontosaurus.

Stanley....

Appreciate it.

Thanks for coming out, guys.

Cheers.

You guys ready?

Ready. Let's go.

What just we just do right now, Bro?

We did an exploration of our own

back yard into the mysteries of the

Santa Monica Mountains.

We fed animals; we drank wine....

exotic animals from the most amazing

menagerie, and then we found out

that Stanley, the lone giraffe,

they're having a quest to get him a

girlfriend. #GetStanleyLove.

Anyways, if you guys enjoyed this video,

you know what to do;

give it a thumbs-up; share it with your

friends, and subscribe to Vagabrothers,

if you have not already.

And also, please, do us and yourselves

a favor and go subscribe to all of our friends.

All are great people

and they make great content.

In the meantime, stay curious, keep exploring,

and we'll see you guys on the road.

Peace. #GetStanleyLove
