Today's goodness is about a game for climate change!
Do you like playing games?
Who doesn't?
Scientists have been trying to find a way
to get more people to care about climate change,
so they decided to make a game about it.
Creating a role-playing game called World Climate,
they tested this on over 2000 players
from 8 different countries,
They were asked to make decisions on
different aspects like carbon emissions,
and got immediate feedback from the game
about how their actions would affect the planet,
and the people on it.
Researchers found that this changed
player's mindsets greatly,
with 81% saying they now want to take
more action against climate change!
Although this was only in a research setting,
I think it's a great way to make more people aware!
