Eris Morn's Mission! Destiny 2 Forsaken Lore | Myelin Games - Duration: 18:27.

"I have no wish to play politics.

I have no grievance with the City, not anymore.

I have no grand hopes to end the war, for long have I known I will not see its end.

I am here for one battle, and one alone, because it is a battle we must all fight, together

or separately.

So I will warn the defenders, together or separately.

I will do anything—" her low voice shook with passion— "to end Oryx."

Then a small smile curved the Queen's lips.

"Well said."

She straightened, and leaned slightly forward so the room's light fell on her face.

"So let us end him."

Welcome back Guardians, today I wanted to talk about Eris Morn and specifically her

involvement in the Queen's plan and where she has been since Destiny 1.

When I say, the Queen's plan, I am speaking that infamous line during the Taken King cutscene,

"The Awoken have played their part, this was all part of the plan, guide them my hidden

friend.

It is all up to you now."

This is finally explained in the lore of Forsaken.

If you have not seen my video on the Queen's origin story, it may also be helpful to watch

that video before this one, as the Queen's plan will make more sense.

As usual, the artwork at the beginning of this video was provided by Gammatrap, all

patreon donations go towards paying for the artwork, see the patreon link below for more

details and rewards.

This is myelin games, and I hope you enjoy this latest Destiny 2 lore episode.

[INTRO] To try and predict where Eris is, it is important

to understand her backstory, starting with losing her Ghost and Light in the Hellmouth.

Eris Morn was part of a fireteam, which also included, Toland Shattered, who descended

into the Hellmouth to try and destroy, Oryx's son, Crota.

Crota had just killed many Guardians during the battle for the Moon.

The entirety of the fireteam is killed, well, sort of, Toland is killed but technically

transitions into the Hive Ascendant Realm, leaving Eris Morn as the sole survivor.

Somehow, Eris Morn merges from the Hellmouth, with out Light and without her Ghost.

It is finally revealed that Eris Morn was able to escape the Hellmouth because she made

a wish using an Ahamkara bone.

Have a listen to the Cloak of the Great Hunt, it reads,

I am lost in these lunar tunnels.

Out of ammo.

Short on Light.

I am out of moves, save one.

I clutch an Ahamkara bone in one hand, and my dead Ghost in the other.

I hear a whisper.

My vision is gone.

My face itches from the viscous flow from my eyes.

Though I can't see, I find that I suddenly know the way out.

For those of you who missed my video about Riven, Ahamkara can still grant wishes upon

death, and often they tempt those who posses their remains, such as their bones or heart,

to make more wishes.

Now the reason, why Eris Morn had an Ahamkara bone, is because she participated heavily

in the hunting and slaughter of the Ahamkara, known as the Great Hunt.

Have a listen to the Vest of the Great Hunt which describes Eris Morn defeating six Ahamkara

with Wei-ning, only to have the bones of the great creatures whisper to them.

It reads, An hour later, six shapes emerged from the

Venusian foliage.

Ahamkara.

Their compatriot, whom Wei-Ning continued to pound into the ground, was pulsating, growing

stronger.

Feeding.

The others had come to feast at the same table.

Eris pulled her Arc Blade from the air and Blinked.

When the Hunter and the Titan finished their hunt, Eris thought she heard Wei-Ning whisper.

"Did you say something?"

"I was about to ask you."

"Huh."

And this, where Ikora and Eris kill an entire army of Ahamkara, and then vaporized their

bones with an arc storm.

The strides of the Great Hunt reads, Eris and Ikora stood over a graveyard of whispering

bones.

An hour ago, this was a vibrant army of Ahamkara.

Together, the Guardians summoned a storm of Light that consumed the bones around them.

They ignored the whispers, but the voices grew louder, harsher as the maelstrom progressed.

Soon, they couldn't tell the difference between the whispers and the storm.

So, the Great Hunt occurred, where the Ahamkara were Hunted to near extinction, Eris Morn

obviously stashed an Ahamkara bone, which she would later use to escape the Hellmouth.

The Queen of the Reef, Mara Sov, captured and kept Riven, the last remaining Ahamkara.

Now, this is when the infamous Plan begins, Guardians slay Crota, Oryx's son, and Eris

Morn and Osiris visit the Queen of the Reef, Mara Sov.

The Ghost Fragment: The Queen 2 reads, The Hunter's pale lips tightened slightly,

then resumed their usual stony mien.

"Your Grace," she said.

Shuro and Sedia shifted, a sudden rustling and whispering.

The Queen raised one finger to silence them.

Uldren's eyes narrowed, but he said nothing.

"I am not here for you."

The Queen stared at the Hunter, her expression studiously unchanged.

A silence rang out in the room.

The Hunter kept her head raised, her ambiguous gaze directed at the shadows in the throne

where the Queen reclined.

Then a small smile curved the Queen's lips.

"Well said."

She straightened, and leaned slightly forward so the room's light fell on her face.

"So let us end him."

So, Eris Morn teams up with the Queen, becoming a Hive informant.

Have a listen to the Lore entry Throne, it reads,

Eris Morn returned to the Vestian Outpost.

Because she spoke well, it was agreed that aid would be traded for intelligence and a

long-term alliance.

In this way, the Awoken were the first to know of the Great Navigator: his philosophies,

his strategies, his weaknesses.

The great navigator is a references to Oryx, so Eris, basically provided all the intelligence

she has on Oryx and the Hive.

This is the beginning of the PLAN.

SO what is the Plan, Mara Sov's plan is to be killed by Oryx, enter Oryx's throne

world, await Eris Morn and the Guardians to kill Oryx, and when his throne is absent,

claim the Taken Throne and powers.

The reason why Mara Sov will be transported into Oryx's ascendant realm is because of

the weapon he uses against the Awoken fleet, the weapon itself pushes his throne world

into reality and so being killed by it would normally take his enemies, however, Mara Sov

survives.

One of the reasons, Mara Sov survives, I believe is two fold, the first is due to her creation

as awoken, she survived the singularity, the worm hole, see my video on Mara Sov for more

details and the second is the use of the Harbingers.

The harbingers are the weapon the Queen and her techeuns summoned, but it is hinted at

that they were not intended to defeat Oryx but allow Mara to enter his throne world.

With all that being said have a listen to Tyrannocide V, it reads,

She feels her Techeuns preparing emergency selfgates.

Shuro Chi reaches out to her—a wordless, urgent need for Mara to live—and it takes

all the cold impassive remove of Mara's millennia to turn that hand away.

The shockwave strikes.

Mara dies.

In one way, she is vaporized with her Ketch, the bonds between the very particles of her

body questioned by the harrowing logic of Oryx's weapon and found inessential.

The mechanism of devastation is spontaneous fission.

The author of the devastation is laughing in joy.

In another way, a more true and symbolic way, she is impaled on Oryx's blade.

She has thrown all her might at him, and he has answered.

He has snuffed her fledgling divinity and her meager claim to royalty, he has exposed

Mara to the raw and caustic hostility of his High War.

She has been defeated by the sword logic.

She dances down the blade and steps into his throne world.

The Harbingers give her the gate and she takes the step.

She is dead, consumed by Oryx: She is dead in his will, his Ascendant Realm.

There was no other way inside except this true way.

Inanna at least gave her people some warning; she told her minister to have her worshippers

lament, drum, pray, and lacerate their buttocks.

Inanna told her minister to beg the gods to save her.

Mara has not.

Instead, she has enlisted Eris and several million mad dancing Guardians to go knock

off the god who killed her.

It is, on that level, a very simple bank heist: Get yourself taken into the treasury as treasure,

and when the owner dies, break back out with his stuff…

Oryx's throne world tries to tear her body and psyche into a quintillion screaming pieces,

but Mara has survived the inchoate primordial chaos before space and time.

She has retained her selfhood through far worse than this—and she has patience for

eons.

Eris will succeed.

The Guardians will play their part.

When the power in this world is free for the taking, Mara will take it, not as the victor

taking spoils, but as a scavenger takes a prize component for her masterwork.

It says that when the power in this world is free for the taking, Mara will take it!

I believe this is a reference to Mara Sov claiming Oryx's throne and title as leader

of the Taken.

So, that was Eris Morn's role in the Plan, she was to guide guaridans to defeat Oryx,

and therefore allow Mara sov to claim his throne in Death.

Now, we also know that Mara Sov created her own throne world, at this stage, I believe

that Mara Sov's throne world was created as a exit door, once she had entered Oryx's

throne world in the ascendant plane, how would she escape, I believe that she made her own

throne world, which is connected to the Dreaming City, and the Oracle within the Dreaming City

so that she could return.

I could be wrong though.

So why did Mara, not claim Oryx's throne, and why was Mara's throne world destroyed.

Well, she did not account for Oryx launching a counter attack, and Oryx's sister, Savathun.

There is a hint that the Taken and Oryx invaded the Dreaming City immediately following the

battle with Awoken, that the Techeuns behind the Queen tried to prepare emergency selfgates,

portals, back to the Dreaming City to avoid the blast, and these portals lead Oryx directly

to the Dreaming City.

This was when Oryx found Riven still imprisoned, and when Oryx took Riven.

Eventually, Guardians would destroy Oryx leaving Riven in limbo and at this point I believe

Savathun claimed the Taken Throne, at this stage I am not too sure why Mara could not

contest it, or maybe she just didn't have the power, Mara was planning for the throne

to just be empty, not for another Hive God to claim it.

Anyway, this is what Riven says in the Boots of the Great Hunt;

I did not notice her.

That means [the light] did not notice her.

She knows that thought I am [Taken], I am beholden to no one.

So I ask her if she wishes to take up those strings.

She does.

And I take a new shape.

My cage loses its purpose.

Shuro Chi has been Taken.

Kalli and Sedia, too.

And the Reverie Dawn Bond reads, And Riven—

She used to sit in the shade of those wings.

Laugh at the riddles that rumbled in that mercurial throat.

This creature is all teeth and broken promises, transformed by the expectations of another

scheming, secretive sister.

The scheming secretive sister is commonly a referral to Savathun.

Savathun made a wish, and a curse upon the dreaming city using Riven, which is related

to the Dungeon in the Dreaming City, but I will cover that in more detail another time.

So how does this all relate back to Eris.

Well, you likely would have noticed, that even though this is new lore released with

Forsaken, chronologically, this occurred during and following the events of the Taken King,

and so chronologically the most recent update of Eris, excluding the unleased lore trimuphs

(because we are not meant to be speaking about that yet), the most recent update comes from

Age of Trimuph, the grimoire card Ghost Fragment: Eris Morn and the new Forsaken Ship Unfinal

Shapes.

The Ghost Fragment Eris morn card has Eris Morn speaking with Asher Mir who has just

lost his arm to the Vex, it reads, "Soon I will take my leave of this"—she

put her hands up, to take in the med bay, the City, the Tower, Earth—"lie."

"I must find a new path through the night.

The Hive are vast, and ancient.

A power from far beyond our realm.

If we are ever truly to face them, ever truly to put an end to their hate, I must step beyond

the safety of the City."

Now that we know that Savathun has taken over, it is reasonable to speculate that Eris is

in pursuit for Savathun, and I would also say, that Eris is still working very closely

with the Queen.

The reason why I say that Eris is still working with the Queen, is because the Queen accepted

Eris, where as the Tower and Vanguard looked down upon Eris as corrupted.

The Unfinal Shapes lore tab describes Eris writing a letter back to Asher Mir, and this

may be the most recent contact with Eris Morn, it reads,

This will be my last letter for a long while.

The Queen needs me more than the City does.

And I need her.

When she looks at me, she does not see an invalid, or a madwoman, or a burden.

She sees a Hunter.

She has pointed me at the true enemy, and with her help, I will see my quarry caught.

So, Eris seems like a very loyal servant and Hive spy with the Queen.

However, the flavor text for Unfinal Shapes makes me very suspicious, at first glance

you may assume Eris is speaking about the Queen mara sov, however she could easily be

speaking about Savathun, have a listen.

Mine is not a final shape.

She showed me that."

–Eris Morn Referring to her final shape, is something

that Oryx would usual do, Oryx would take someone, and then tell them that this was

their final shape, the fact that Eris refers to her final shape is very suspicious that

she has been speaking with Savathun.

Knowing everything we know about Eris, it would be very reasonable for her to have come

in contact with Savathun, she helped Queen Mara Sov complete her plan, by destroying

Oryx, and then she left the Tower to pursue Savathun because she claimed the throne, and

so the next question is, when Eris Morn returns and she refers to her Queen, is she referring

to Mara Sov or the Hive Queen Savathun.

That concludes this latest Destiny 2 lore episode, if you would like to support the

channel, leave the word "Unfinal shape" to represent that we do not know whose side

Eris Morn is on anymore, and which queen she refers to.

As usual, it has been a pleasure, this is myelin games.

Peace

My October Fitness update 2018 - Duration: 5:21.

hi I'm Roxksie so I'm here to do another update about my fitness journey and I

finally reached the right weight for my height which is about a hundred and

thirty one pound for 5 foot 4 I

don't know if that's the same for everybody but for me that's about the

right weight that I should be for my height as for being happy with how I'm

looking I gained some weight back and work more on muscle tone and definition

which won't make any sense because I haven't explained any parts of the some

of my journey I haven't explained a lot of it in fact I've wanted to dispel a

couple of myths which is how did I do it have I gone and done techie say did i do

wait watches did I do anything else other than that um no I didn't go just

living what I didn't go to Weight Watchers I didn't go to any fad diets

I didn't keto because I thought that that's probably not the right thing for

me considering I have multiple sclerosis I did follow a diet type or a lifestyle

type actually it's more of a lifestyle than a diet which is healthy plant-based

no oil vegan which I've explained it before but I'll do it again which is no

meat no dairy no fish no poultry of any kind no oil which includes coconut oil

because even if it it could be healthy for my journey of this last year I've

not needed it I have used up and weekends I'm not gonna lie I'm not a

perfect person and I don't need to be and the rest of it it hasn't been dives

at all it's actually been exercise I've been at the gym nearly daily I say

nearly daily because I have taken weekends off I have done family events I

have had fun because if you don't have fun and you can't really do this

I can give people suggestions I can give people what I've done what's working for

me how I've got healthier but will it work for everyone I don't know I

honestly don't know so you'd have to look it up yourself on Google on YouTube

or you know just research it yourself and our doctors keep your doctors

involved and if you have friends who are into weight loss into nutrition ask them

if you have any friends who and nutritionists ask them because I'm none

of those but I've learned to loss of dowse it's as an answer to losing some

weight loss going through some weight loss I mean I've I started at 14 stone

which is the absolute truth last year and now I am nine point one nine points

three I'm bouncing between the two because water weights so we're looking

at maybe 40 pounds not that much or it doesn't seem as much as other people but

I think getting to the right weight for your height for anybody is a healthy

choice to do doesn't mean it's right for everybody no it doesn't mean that I'm

judging other people absolutely not do I think other people should do what I've

done it's up to them and what they do their life I'm not their parent and yeah

so yeah I don't key so this has brought ups me within the last couple days with

somebody who went oh hey I see that you've lost loads away since you're in

Turkey so could you tell me how it works and I'm there going but I didn't kiss

her and um personally don't believe in it I like my carbs I like my sugar I

like my you know protein which I also have a lot of debunking of where do you

get your protein but there's an awful loss of protein in plant foods not least

for tofu but I don't have a lot of tofu to be honest only it's mostly green

veggies green leafy vegetables and plants so my comeback to that is if

we're doing it wrong look at me so I keep on looking up over

there because it's what I'm thinking I look up whilst I think I look down most

I think and I think a lot I think it all for what

so I hope that's a little bit helpful probably not I've been Roxy this is an

update to what's been going on with me and yeah at the right weight for my

height I mean that's a great thing for me um good confidence booster not least

for the fact that I get to go back to the gym and now all I have to do is turn

up turn up and have a bit of muscle I'll see you soon bye

that's the cat leaving

The Story of Stromgarde [Lore] - Duration: 15:43.

This video is brought to you in colaboration with WoWhead.com

Duh DUh DUh Duh duh duh duh duh The story of Stromgarde

Hello everyone!

The story of Stromgarde takes us back to the very origins of the humans.

Once upon a time, the vrykul were hit by the curse of flesh.

a curse designed by the old god yogg-saron to make them more volnerable to their corruption.

It made the keepers creations mortal and over time litterly gave them flesh similar to how

the gnomes and dwarves came to be.

The vrykul lead by king ymiron at the time were ordered to murder their malformed offspring,

but not all of them could bring themselves to kill their innocent children.

Instead they sought to hide them in a place of legend.

A land far to the south where other vrykul were hanging out, a land known as Tirisfal.

Over thousands of years humanity flourished in the eastern kingdoms, living in seperate

tribes, constantly warring with eachother over land and by extention over power.

Only one tribe, the Arathi lead by Thoradin saw the error of their ways.

They knew that if humankind remained devided, it would stand little chance against a true

waragainst the Amani trolls living to the north.

They took it upon themselves to rival clans, be it by diplomacy or force.

In just a couple of years, warlord Thoradin brought the other clans to heel.

Much to the surprise of those he had defeated, Thoradin did not reign as a tyrant.

He offered his former enemies peace and equality in waht he claimed owuld bea glorious new

human nation – a united kingdom of limitless potential.

The tribal leaders would not fade into obscurity.

They would serve as honored generals.

With these acts, THoradin won the loyalty of his adversaries and was crowned king with

his new kingdom named Arathor.

With the human tribes united, King Thoradin set out to found a new capital.

According to one legend, he discovered his answer in a dream.

In it, he saw his father wearing the pelt of a black wolf.

He told Thoradin of an arid land southeast of Tirisfal Glades.

If the king built his capital there, his people would prosper.

Thoradin sought out the land from his dream, a region known today as the Arathi Highlands.

As the story goes, the king spied a black wolf roaming the barren terrain.

On that spot, Thoradin used Strom'kar to carve out the boundaries of his city in the dirt.

Then he set his masons to work.

So arose Strom, mighty capital of the first human kingdom.

He also ordered his people to build a great wall near the capital to further shield tem

from Amani incursions.

Word of Strom's might quickly spread among the other human tribes motivating them to

sign up and enjoy the safety of numbers.

Thoradin was wise to unite his people as the amani trolls were indeed a great threat, not

just to humanity but also the high elves living in quel'thelas.

They sought the aid of the humans as without assistance from Arathor, the trolls would

soon enough destroy Quel'Thalas and after that launch their full might against Strom

itself.

Thoradin and his advisors discusses the situation and figured that if they were taught the way

of magic, it might give them the edge they needed to truly make an impact in the war.

Their offer was in exchange for their military aid, the high elves would teach the humans

magic, knowing they had little choice they agreed to tutor one hundred humans.

Their allegiance during these so called troll wars would prove devestating for the amani

trolls and while hard earned, victory was theirs.

For months they celebrated their victory and the elves pledged their undying loyalty to

Arathor and to Thoradin's descendants.

After King THoradin's reign had ended, new generations of humans expanded the nation

in size and power.

The once united Arathi empire turned into the seven kingdoms, Lordaeron, Dalaran, Gilneas,

Kul Tiras, Alterac and Stormwind with their formal capital of Strom fearing that they'd

lose control.

That the other settlements would become too independent, and they would be right.

Strom was no longer the center of the human lands, left in the hands of a few ruling families

too stubborn to abandon the old cpaital.

Among them were the descendants of Ignaeus trollbane, a general who had become a legen

during the troll wars.

Over the years, these families rebuilt Strom's crumbling infrastructure and renamed their

capital Stromgarde.

The city however would never regain its former glory and Thoradin's dream of a unified

people was dying.

Over generations, the various city-states became increasingly distant and insular.

Rivalries emerged as these nations turned inward, concerned with their own well-being

and less inclined to offer aid to eachother.

The opening of the dark portal and coming of the Horde would quickly change that mindset

as for the fate of Azeroth and all their individual kingdoms, they had to come together under

a single banner once more.

Stormwind was the first to fall.

Anduin Lothar took Prince Varian Wrynn and their survivors across the sea to lordaeron

to spread the news of this allien threat.

The Alliance of Lordaeron was formed, a union of the different leaders.

King Terenas of Lordaeron, King Genn Greymane of Gilneas, Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore

of Kul Tiras, Archmage Antonidas of Dalaran, King Aiden Perenolde of Alterac and King Thoras

Trollbane of Stromgarde.

Not all of them were down with this allegiance right away.

People like Greymane and Perenolde were quite hesitant to sign up, but in the end all of

them were convinced that this was for the best for their people.

Their united forces took on the savage Horde.

The war did not play out without complications though.

Perenolde was foolish enough to betray the alliance, sell them out to save his own skin

by offering the horde free passage through his lands.

Thoras Trollbane figured out what was going on and he wasn't too about it.

He took command of their forces and made sure the rest of the horde would be stopped from

reaching Lordaeron while Perenolde was a problem to deal with after the war.

After they won the impossible battle against the savage horde.

They pushed them back to blackrock mountain and then, with their warchief on his knees,

back to the dark portal.

Those that surrendered were spared an immediate death and placed within interment camps while

the dark portal was shut down.

They were unable to completely sever the connection though, but problems for another day.

First they had to deal with their prisoners and betrayers.

The fate of the orcs that had surrendered was quite a point of bate.

Some just wanted to outright execute them, but instead they decided to place them within

interment camps overseen by Danath Trollbane.

He's the cousin of Thoras and had proven himself to be a great tactician and fighter

in the war.

If he could maintain control over the camps then that's where the orcs would stay.

If not, the alliance would revisit executing the orcs.

Danath oversaw all of the camps but of course running all of them was a job too great for

just one man.

So it was that he delegated command to the second war's high-ranking veterans meaning

that the quality of life in the camps was vastly different.

In some cases execution might have even been the kinder alternative and of course these

camps didn't come cheap.

Gold was asked from all alliance members which some could not really appreciate.

Then the situation with Perenolde was rather dicey as most of his citzens didn't know

what their leader had been up too and just invading his land wasn't really an option.

Execution or imprisonment might send off the wrong signals to the remaining leaders of

the alliance so for now they placed him under house arrest while trying to come up with

some sort of solution.

The idea of Terenas or trollbane taking over the land had been suggested, but before anything

like that could go down, the Horde already returned for another invasion.

This time they did not come to try and claim the world, this time they showed up to steal

powerful artifacst which would allow them to open up more portals to different worlds.

The alliance or the sons of lothar as they called themselves, eventually figured out

what their plan was and decided that the Horde had to be stopped once an for all.

Lead by Turalyon, Alleria Windrunner Khadgar, Kurdran Wildhammer and Danath trollbane.

They stepped through and were eventually forced to shut the portal from Draenors side to make

sure the destruction of the planet, its transformation into Outland as we know it today wouldn't

spill over into Azeroth.

We wouldn't hear from our heroes for quite some time while life on Azeroth continued.

History would repeat itself as without the threat of the Horde, the alliance started

to splinter.

The small disagreements about land, power and money would soon enough caus them to withdraw

from eachother.

Some taking it as far as building a mighty wall to keep them all out, but Thoras Trollbane

just withdrew his support for the Alliance.

Thrall would break out of his interment camp and reform the Horde.

Arthas would follow the path of becoming the Lich KIng, murdering his own father something

copied by Thoras' son Galen.

He murdered his father too and took up the roll as leader of Stromgarde, but quickly

found himself under attack by forces like the Bouldfist ogres and the Syndicate, a criminal

organisation originally lead by Aliden Perenolde, the son of the traitor.

His fellow leader Lord Falconcrest lead the assault on Stromgarde and was even able to

claim a fair chunck of the land.

All in all the treacherous son wasn't having an easy time and did his very best to atleast

protect the trollbane family crypt, which held several ancient artifacts.

The league of arathor was formed based in refuge point.

The remnants of the once-proud kingdom of Stromgarde, would claim the basin to profit

their allies in Stormwind (and, through them, the whole of the Alliance).

Set against them are the forsaken Defilers, free-willed undead who strive to savage the

human kingdom of Lordaeron and secure their home in the Undercity – and they demand

Arathi's resources to do it.

Horde and Alliance clashed with eachother in this battleground while outside of the

basin, a jungle troll named Zengu set his eyes on the sword known as Trol'kalar or

Trollbane.

This sword goes back to the very roots of the trollbane lineage and earned a mighty

reputation during the troll wars.

So much so that Zengu wanted it for the Darkspear tribe so that they could use it against the

trolls of Zul'gurub who were becoming quite a threat with their loa Hakkar.

In order of Vol'jin he recruited horde heroes to help him secure this blade.

Several sigils were needed to remove the protections around the blade, one of such sigils held

by none other then Galen.

He was slain by the forsaken near Thoradin's wall and the blade was clamed by the troll

but it never made its way to Vol'jin.

Zengu was was assassinated by Stromgarde tropps when he attempted to leave Arathi and the

sigils and sword were retaken.

With the Burning Crusade we saw the Dark Portal re-open and we reconnected with heroes of

old amongst them Danath Trollbane.

He was still alive even after all this time and fans wondered when he would return home

to rebuild the ancestrol capital of the humans.

Hints of his return were dropped from time to time, but first we would see the return

of Galen, resurrected by the Forsaken.

He seemed to be quite loyal to sylvanas and to serve her better, he asked heroes to once

again claim the sigils and go pick up Trol'kalar.

They handed him the blade but instead of serving the banshee queen, he rallied his undead citizens

and soldiers and declared himself king of the ruined kingdom of Stromgarde.

Luck does not favor this traitor as the knights of the ebon blade were in need of new horseman

to help them fight in the war against the Legion.

Under the command of the Lich King they were send to resurrect the legendary Thoras Trolbane.

Prince Galen is willing to help us gain access into the tomb if we help him out with his

witherbark problem by cutting down a couple of the trolls and destroying their supplies.

After fullfilling his request, we return to hold him to his end of the bargain.

"Stromgarde is mine at last!

You are fools if you think I'll let my father have it back!

GUARDS!

SEIZE THEM!"

Galen has made a big mistake by wasting our time and trying to betray the ebon blade.

If he will not open the tomb of his father then we must take the sword and do it ourselves.

"My patience has worn thin as well.

Let's find the prince and be done with this."

Nazgrim: "You are fighting against a power you cannot even comprehend!"

Prince:"Stromgarde is mine!

I will not give it up to my father or anyone else!

I am the prince!

How...dare you..."

With the blade we can enter the tomb and resurrect King Thoras, one of the greatest warriors

this world has known.

His people loved him and enemies feared him.

He only spoke truth, often saying the words others were afraid to speak.

He lived a life of war and certainly deserves the peace of death, but this is not a man

who would sleep peacefully while the world around him burns.

The time has come to welcome the last true king of Stromgarde into the arms of the dead

and damned.

King THoras Trollbane: "My son.

Where is Galen?

Where is the prince who murdered his king?

Thassarian: "We took his life, my lord.

The prince left us little choice.

King THoras Trollbane: "What has become of stromgarde?"

Thassarian:"Death and ruin.

Time has not been kind to this place.

" King THoras Trollbane:"Then I have failed

as both a father and a king."

Thassarian:" "Stromgarde is lost, but there is still hope for this world...if you

will join us."

King Thoras Trollbane: "I will do whatever it takes to preserve peace on azeroth."

And so the last true king of Stromgarde left his kingdom behind, but with battle for azeroth,

Danath finally returns home.

This was the staging ground for that disastrous meeting between human and forsaken as described

within before the storm.

All that remains of the fallen are the marked graves found in the highlands.

WIth the burning of teldrassil and the siege of Lordaeron, Kalimdor and the eastern kingdoms

have become highly contested.

Undercity lies in ruins which means that the alliance has control over most of the eastern

kingdoms.

It's very close to falling completely which is why the Warfront at Stromgarde is so important

for both sides.

For the Horde it means a defense point, a buffer for Quel'thelas and potential strike

point to Gilneas.

The alliance finds the undercity indefensible and holding on to Stromgarde would give them

a staging ground to move north.

Both sides fight over dominance of the land with resources turned in to support the troops.

Inside the gameplay is reminicent of the days of Warcraft 3.

From up above we dive in the field down below and lay claim to the initial base.

After which our objective becomes gathering resources, lumber and ore.

These resources can be used to upgrade the base, build new structures, recruit troops

and demolishers to bring down the enemies gate.

Newstead and the Circle of Elements can be captured to unlock powerful support units

while through out the battle, little events can spawn.

For example you can be asked to slay a great tree or save some of your captured troops

which will then aid you in battle but the main road to victory goes through the middle.

Once the gates are down, the enemy commander is the last thing standing in our way.

The alliance will face either Eitrigg, Lady Liadrin or Rokhan while the Horde has to deal

with Danath Trollbane, Turalyon or Muradin.

With the commander forced to surrender, the faction will hold dominance over the keep

but the enemy does not sit still and will soon enough gather their forces and retaliate.

"The alliance is no match for our strength!

FOR THE HORDE!"

"One day Stromgarde will belong to the Alliance again."

While waiting to do so, they can spend their time completing some quests in the highlands.

Like taking care of pockets of remaining syndicate or witherbark trolls or even bring down a

world boss until the drums of war sound again and the warfront repeats itself.

That is the story of Stromgarde, the very capital of human civilization now a highly

contested area for the alliance and the Horde.

Why do rappers romanticize death? | Ali Shaheed Muhammad | End Well Symposium - Duration: 2:48.

There are a lot of rappers who sensationalize or romanticize the idea of dying as a way

to maybe immortalize who they were if they can die a magnificent death.

And I think unfortunately the way it comes out is very destructive and not constructive.

And it's one of those things where when people come into my studio, I challenge their

lyrics.

Like, what's your purpose?

What's the end result of these words and this feeling that will live on maybe another

100 years beyond you?

What value do you think they have now?

What value do you think they will have then?

And people who come into my studio with that sort of approach hate when I ask those questions

because it's challenging their artistic whatever.

And this delusion of grandeur given by "I'm an artist."

We're human beings and we're a community.

And these buildings one day will crumble and dust will cover them.

And someone will uncover them and want to know something about their past to understand

how they can move on as a society and grow.

And so to sensationalize and take death for granted in that way is nothing to be learned

from that, other than you guys were foolish in 1990-2017.

So I make it an effort to try and challenge.

And because I'm older, when the 19 year olds come in with that green and I'm fearless

and I don't care about anyone else, and I'm not going to curse here, and the expression

from that perspective, I try to educate them and challenge them in a healthy way so that

they can value life and speak about the idea of dying in a different way.

Learn to appreciate what you have | BJ Miller, MD | End Well Symposium - Duration: 1:09.

My goal in life is to appreciate what I have but while I still have it.

That's the trick.

Most of us are really good at appreciating something right when we've lost it.

And that's poignant and gorgeous and fine.

But wouldn't it be great if we appreciated it before we lost it, while we still had it.

Whether it's a body, or a relationship, or a thought, or an identity, or whatever

it is.

So I just wanted to end with that appreciation of what death, annoying as it is, offers us

something too.

And any fuller view of the subject has to include that.

How we help young people deal with death | Ivor Williams | End Well Symposium - Duration: 3:04.

A couple of years ago, there was an interesting phenomenon where teenagers were taking selfies

at funerals.

And it was a really weird time because people were getting really upset, going "Oh my

god, these kids are so vain.

They're so disrespectful.

They don't know what they're doing.

This is awful."

And all I kept thinking is it's totally normal.

These kids are 14-15, they take selfies every day, all day.

What's more unusual is them going to a funeral for the first time.

And this is just their way of processing it.

This is just they're way of saying I'm here, this is weird, telling their friends,

getting some support.

And it made us think.

But the main thing was that this technology is not built for this kind of stuff.

It's not built for death and dying and bereavement and grief.

Having the conversation about death with children is a massive problem.

In fact, in the UK, in every classroom there's one child that's lost a parent.

There's millions and millions of children in the UK who have lost a loved one.

And from my own experience, I lost my friend when I was 17, I knew that this was a huge

problem.

It can really have huge impacts on the rest of your life.

There's huge implications for mental health, for truancy, for education, for crime later

on if you have bereavement as a young child.

So we felt, what can we do?

What is a way in which we can support young people by using technology that they use everyday?

Which is why created this thing called Cove.

Cove is a music therapy app, and basically you use music to express complex emotions,

and you can journal and create a little journal for yourself that allows you to really do

what we know is really difficult when you're going through bereavement which is try and

get something out that you're feeling.

Because we know with young people, they find it really hard to talk to other people.

They find it very hard to actually just say how they're feeling.

But we really believe that music has this incredible potential.

I think we're going to hear a little more later on about just how powerful music is

when it comes to death and dying.

It's been so successful in supporting young people that we've actually been funded by

the NHS, the health service in the UK, to roll this out even further.

And I'm really excited because from next year, GPs, so family practices, will be able

to prescribe this to families.

Which if you imagine, we're prescribing music as medicine, I just think it's fantastic.

But what really makes a difference is when people come and write to us and tell us exactly

how this music making has helped them process and go through their own grief and bereavement.

It makes it all really worth it for us.

5 Common Medicare Mistakes to Avoid | #5 Disputing Your Part B Premium - Duration: 2:28.

Hi everyone its Lenore the Medicare lady! Hope you're having a great day! We

are continuing with our five-part video series "Common Medicare Mistakes to Avoid"

,and we're on common Medicare mistake number five and that is not disputing

any surcharges you may receive on Medicare parts B and D. So, if you recall

yesterday we talked about how Medicare uses a two year look-back period to

determine what your gross adjusted income. So, if you're applying for

Medicare right now...they're going to look at your income tax return from two years

ago which would be 2016. So, they look at your two year income from two years

ago and that will determine what your premium for Medicare Part B will be. Now,

sometimes however that income can actually be inflated by a couple of

reasons maybe in 2016 you are working a job...maybe you got a big bonus...maybe your

spouse was working...maybe he took a 401 K distribution...maybe you had a property

and you sold it...maybe you had an inheritance. Those are some of the

reasons why your income may be higher in prior years or maybe "inflated" and not

really your true income. There is a form you can fill out called an SSA44 (listed Below in description) which

is a life changing event form you present that form to Medicare along with

any documentation to show what your actual income is. And, you'll actually be

able to possibly lower your Medicare premium for Parts B and D because

sometimes if your income is looking higher you will pay the higher amount

known as "IRMAA" is the Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount that

you might have to pay over the standard Part B and D premium. So, if you make over

eighty-five thousand as a single or one hundred and seventy thousand as a couple, Medicare says you

are considered an actual high income earner and you could actually pay more

than you need to on Medicare Part B premiums. If, your income was inflated

over that amount based on a bonus or as I said before you were working so your

income was higher. If you have questions about that please feel free to comment

and we'd love to get back to you. And stay tuned as we come in the next couple

of days we'll be putting out some more good informational Medicare videos. Have

a great night!

Share your personal health information to end cancer | Anil Sethi | End Well Symposium - Duration: 1:51.

When Tania was diagnosed, people came out of the woodwork and said, "what can we do

to help?"

And there's not a lot that people can do.

But here's one thing they can do.

Instead of doing a cancer walk and donating money to the NCI, which has plenty of money,

how about collecting your health information and donating that?

I think if we do that, we can accelerate and time-compress solutions to things like cancer.

And I'll say this, I think cancer is a data problem.

I think computers and the tech industry is really good at this.

I'm not saying this 'cause I'm in the industry, I truly believe it.

One of the recognitions is that you do some research and three years out, the publication

comes out.

Well that's not much use to people who were three years ago diagnosed.

Cancer sort of mutates every three months or 100 days.

Three years out is just too long.

So if we can have people help collect, organize, and share their information, pull it into

that 100 days, we can go after cancer.

We can actually get it before it starts to change.

And I think those are the kinds of examples for tech can both be palliative, I can feel

better that I can answer the questions with my caregiving team, and also I can pay it

forward to researchers.

Changing hospital culture towards death | Mark B. Ganz | End Well Symposium - Duration: 3:27.

My mom had a great view about her life.

She very much wanted to live her life until she took her last breath.

She was not preparing to die but she was okay with it because of her faith, she missed my

dad, and she was okay about when it might happen.

But she wanted to make sure, and this was so important to her, that when her heart stopped,

that there would be no attempt to revive it.

Her heart stopped, she was ready to go.

That's how she viewed it.

So every time she went into the hospital, she insisted that they put not only a do-not-resuscitate

order she signed in her record, but put it on the door of her room.

She should've had a tattoo maybe.

Anyway, sisters were with her.

They were hungry, said "Hey mom, can we go down and get some food?

We'll be back soon."

"Oh certainly, go ahead, that's fine."

They left to go.

Minutes after they left to get some food, her heart stopped.

They did a full code.

She did not come back.

My mom was a willful person.

And we all felt so blessed that she didn't.

But boy were we angry at the hospital and the workers there.

So we talked to them.

You know, what were you thinking?

They're good people.

The hospital is a good hospital.

It was about culture.

The culture of the hospital, the culture of the people who worked there was that if someone

died on your shift, that was a bad thing.

That was kind of like a black mark.

Extension of life was a good day.

One dying was not a good day.

And so it caused them to just go into automatic pilot, to not even think to look to honor

my mom's wishes.

Culture is powerful thing.

And I think when you go back to where you work, to where you're doing your work, I

urge you to be a beacon around culture.

And that takes a lot of courage and it takes a lot of perseverance.

Cervical cancer was the best thing to happen to me | Torrie Fields | End Well Symposium - Duration: 3:37.

When I found out that I had stage IIB cancer, I also found out that my surgery was next

Wednesday.

I had no understanding of my treatment options, or my prognosis.

I still had no answer to whether or not I was going to die.

But it had been a year since I was diagnosed and someone just presented me with an option.

I had a lot of questions, but I thought that by asking them, I was getting in the way of

my own treatment.

And I had already spent a year waiting.

I could catch up later.

I could ask questions later.

So I had my first appointment with the surgeon for my surgery that next Wednesday.

And what I thought was that everything would be fine after the first surgery.

What we found out was that I was put on that medical conveyor belt that lasted seven surgeries,

over three years.

We hadn't planned for this.

In my last appointment with my oncologist, she told me my edges were finally clear, that

my labs were showing that I was responding to treatment, and that unfortunately I could

no longer have children.

I felt deceived by my physician.

I wished she had told me earlier about all of the side effects of these choices.

I felt deceived by my body.

And I had lost my dreams.

I didn't know what my future held.

So I quit my job.

What I wanted to understand was what change was possible, what levers can you pull to

make an experience better for people so that they're not surprised by their outcome.

I had just had my dreams taken from me.

I didn't want that to happen to anyone else.

When I learned that there were systems that could be improved, that there were things

like continuous quality improvement, and this term that triple aim or patient centered care,

I woke up.

This was not the treatment that I had received, and I had just found out that I could've

had it better.

I got angry.

There has to be a better way.

Other people should not be blindsided like I was.

As a survivor, as an administrator, as a policy maker, I have a responsibility.

Cancer was the best thing that ever happened to me.

It changed my life and it gave me a new dream.

That dream is to create a system that responds to my future needs and to those of others.

Does your system reflect yours?

Moving palliative care upstream | Andrew MacPherson | End Well Symposium - Duration: 2:05.

In the past several years, dozens of bills have been introduced in Congress to improve

the lives of those with advanced illness in facing end of life care.

More than ever before.

It's my great privilege to work with many of those folks in the room and across the

country on this legislation.

Some of them have even progressed and already become law.

Yes, we're making progress, and yes, there is hope.

For example, Medicare now places a value on advanced care planning by paying physicians

and health professionals for a conversation about end of life wishes.

Advocates fought for decades for this simple policy solution yet politically charged issue.

One would think that the death panels are indeed dead.

Bipartisan legislation has been introduced to deploy new models of care.

Similar to hospice, but upstream from hospice for those with advanced illness.

Imagine getting supportive, palliative care from an interdisciplinary team in the home

setting months if not years before hospice eligibility.

Payers in the commercial marketplace and Medicare Advantage marketplaces are experimenting and

investing in this kind of care.

Medicare itself should be next.

The Medicare Choices model that was referenced earlier shows promise by allowing for curative

and comfort care to be offered at the same time.

But this model only applies to those who are currently hospice eligible.

We must go upstream from hospice.

Hospice is the original person-centered care model.

White lies, but they're getting dark Blurred lines, but they're getting clearer

Just tell the truth, ay, it's not that hard

You call me crazy So am I crazy?

Your words don't hold any weight I can't seem to get a straight answer

Don't trust you, but who's to blame?

I think you're crazy But am I crazy?

Sorry that I don't believe it, nah
