How To Get Started On YouTube - Duration: 3:45.
Hey, what's up! It's Chris from Brooker Films and in today's video I'm going to
talk all about how to get started on YouTube. So, let's begin!
So I've had this YouTube channel for absolutely ages but I've never really done anything with it
I've only really used it to post my showreels and that's only one video every
single year and in the short time that I've been consistently uploading to
YouTube, I've learned quite a few valuable tricks that's helped my channel to grow
to where it is today, so in today's video I'm going to share the top 5 tips that
really helped me to get this channel off the ground. So my first tip is to find
your niche. Nobody is going to subscribe to a channel that uploads travel videos
food videos, makeup, beauty, etc. it's just too diverse and nobody's really going to
engage and nobody's going to understand what they're subscribing to. So the most
important thing before you do anything is to find your niche. Now on this channel
for example, I upload filmmaking and photography tutorials and do content all
around the theme of filmmaking and photography. So if I was to start
uploading different types of videos like dance videos for example, people watching
this channel would be super confused about what they're subscribed to and
soon enough, I would notice my subscribers would disappear and the
views and the engagement would disappear. So my number one tip is to find your
niche and create videos all around that one specific niche
We all have a favourite TV show and we know exactly what day and what time that TV show is
going to be played and the same rule should be used on YouTube. So if you're
uploading randomly to YouTube then people just won't understand when they
can expect a video. If your subscribers know that they can expect a video every
Tuesday at 5 o'clock for example then they will tune in at 5 o'clock every
single Tuesday just to watch your video. So keeping a schedule will instantly up
your views and will really help your engagement. So you've found your niche
and you've created a schedule, the next step would be to start creating
content and my third tip is to focus more on the content rather than the
production value of the video that you're shooting. It doesn't matter too
much what equipment you have, if you have an amazing story to tell and you've got
something that you need to share then it doesn't matter if you're shooting on an
iPhone or a £50,000 RED camera. If the story is interesting and people care
enough about it then it will get views and it will get engagement. There is
absolutely no point of having an expensive looking video if there is no
value in the content
So my fourth tip is to understand what you want out of this
platform. Are you trying to get more comfortable in front of the camera? Do
you want the most subscribers in the world? What is it that you're after? When
you know exactly where you want to be, you can work backwards and figure out
the path on how to get there. So understanding your intentions on
uploading is crucial and you should really know this before you start to
create your videos
Now my last tip is to just do it just start uploading
I've had this channel for years and I've wanted to create these videos for
so long now but I've always put so many different barriers in front of myself
There's too many people in YouTube, it's too difficult, it's too time-consuming, my
schedule is too demanding... there's no better time than now to start creating
and uploading videos to YouTube, so forget your excuses. Just start creating
videos and start doing it now. When you look back in a year and you've created
some incredible videos and you've built an audience. you're going to be so happy
and so glad that you finally started to do this so if you have any intention to
upload to youtube then forget your excuses, just start uploading right now

How to complement stylization with gel nail method correctly and safely?

Today we will talk about correct and safe complementation of gel stylization
and re-application of hybrid nails
Each manicure is a great care, precision and work
which effects can last for about three weeks
After this time, the client will return to our beauty salon with visible growth
and ask for a new nail stylization
Today we will show you how to create nail stylization comfortably, safe and as quickly as possible
Hybrid manicure
Hybrid manicure with Semilac products is up to 21 days of colour lasting and brightness
After this time, the client should come back to the beauty salon and have another stylization
We remove each layer of hybrid manicure until the end, that is to the last layer
Today we present you few exceptions
Hybrid manicure can be removed with two methods
The first one is the traditional method of rolling the previously delicately tarnished nails
in the Semilac Remover Wraps
or the Semilac Nail Clips
We moisture the cotton wool in the acetone and after the nail is rolled, we wait for a few minutes until the acetone works
This is an easy method for dissolving nail polish
Then, all you have to do is smoothing the surface with the polish block and that's it
The second method, chosen by the stylists more often
is removing hybrid manicure by the nail grinding machine
It requires experience and precision
Semilac offers professional 001, 002 and 003 grindings
which are the best for removing hybrid stylizations
Properly applied manicure is the combination of thin layer of base, colour and hybrid top
When removing it with the grinding machine you have to make sure that you work in a stable place and your hands have proper support
This guarantees precision but also controls removing of manicure
without danger of filling nails too much
The first and the second method doesn't require removing
one-hundred percent of the products from the nail plate
If there are still some traces of base after dissolving colour or removing it with the grinding machine,
don't worry about it
Don't rub it or grind to the nail plate
as it may cause damage and filling the nail
The safe limit of removing manicure is removing the layer of colour
and base delicately, that is about 90% of the previous manicure
Gel method
The gel mass does not dissolve in acetone
that is why we can remove it only with the file or the grinding machine
What's important, we remove only about 70% of the mass or the building hybrid
What should we also pay attention to while complementing?
Most of all, we have to make sure
that the rest of the product holds perfectly to the nail
Leaving the mass peeling off the nail plate even delicately
plus thin dust or stains, which will be closed in the new layer of gel or hybrid,
may result in growth of bacteria commonly known as "Pseudonomas aeruginosa"
Additionally, when complementing nails, we have to make the cuticles very carefully
and prepare the grown nail plate by applying the primer.
What's important, if the nails were extended,
then they should be removed after about the fourth complement and new nails should made.
Owing to this, you will get rid of the growing nail from the bottom
or the nail plate which starts to go out from the bottom
And finally a gold advice: do not try to come up with painting only the growth of nails
You should always work out the previous stylization.

Chicken with potatoes in the oven, which will please the whole family - Duration: 1:52.
Ingredients for 3 servings: 3 chicken thighs; 800 g of potatoes; 3 tablespoons of sour cream; 1 onion; 3 cloves garlic; 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream with chopped garlic, salt and spices
Rinse the chicken thighs and lubricate the sour cream
Leave them to marinate for 1-2 hours
Cut the potatoes
Slice the onions into half rings
Lubricate the baking sheet or baking dish with vegetable oil
Put the potatoes and onions in a baking dish. Salt and add spices
Lubricate the potatoes with sour cream
Stir
Put the chicken thighs on top
Bake 50-60 minutes at 190 degrees

What I sound like to myself|| DEAF AWARENESS DAY 30 - Duration: 5:13.
Hello you fancy folks and welcome to the last day of Deaf awareness month
{Intro music}
I got the idea for today's video from Rikki Poynter
I will link her video and a card above and also somewhere in the description box below.
So today I want to talk about what I sound like to myself
now I can't hear it myself 80% of the time
I don't know how
loud or quiet I sound
I don't know if I am slurring or if I'm mispronouncing words
My hearing aids takes that down to around about 65%
But the thing with hearing aids is that they can make things sound robotic
so I don't think that they give a
proper representation
to me of what my voice sounds like
To me my voice sounds very light and very Scottish
I have had a lot of people that I have met correctly assume that I am from the Glasgow area
I grew up just outside Glasgow and apparently I have a slight Glaswegian accent
But when I watch back my YouTube videos, I'm usually quite surprised by how deep my voice sounds
And
Also, I feel like I don't sound as Scottish in my videos
Which is very strange because I
was born and grew up in Scotland and I was never around any other accents growing up.
I have had a lot of people wrongly assume that I am Irish
now I have never been to Ireland and I
definitely am not Irish, but when I watch my videos back I can see
how people might confuse that
I think my Scottish accent mixed with my deaf accent
kind of comes across as
Irish
maybe
I also sound much clearer to myself I think because
I have my own inner captions in my brain
But when I watch videos back,
I'm often surprised and I'm usually sat there thinking
"That sounded a lot clearer and a lot more precise
When I was saying it."
And that can make editing YouTube videos
very, very difficult
And another thing is I sound much slower to myself when I speak
But I am actually quite a fast speaker
Because I grew up with people who spoke extremely fast and that is how I learned to speak.
I usually have to mentally remind myself to speak slower because
I know that my idea of slow is definitely not the same as other people's idea of slow
and
Even when I do think I'm speaking slowly
the majority of the time
I'm actually not
And the last thing is how clearly I pronounce words
Now I struggle with hard letters like T and B and D
and I know that but for some reason when I'm speaking I
believe or I
hear myself
pronouncing the words correctly
And then when I watch footage back, I realize that I'm kind of drawling or I'm
really not pronouncing the words correctly
and not
Pronouncing the hard letters properly.
So there you have it. I sound completely different to myself than I do in reality
I also sound very different
when I have my hearing aids in compared to when I don't have them in

I think I'm going to have to plan a trip to Ireland if any more people tell me that i sound Irish
