Hi guys, it's Nena from the channel Nenology and I'm going to be recommending
'The School For Good and Evil' by Soman Chainani. This book follows our two main
characters, Sophie and Agatha, as they are kidnapped and taken away to the school for good and for evil.
If you took one look at Sophie you would believe her to be good,
with her blonde hair and love of pretty pink dresses and from one look at
Agatha, with her black hair and black clothes, you will believe she would
belong in the school of evil but as they're kidnapped their roles are reversed.
Sophie ends up in the school for evil
and Agatha ends up in the school for good.
I love how this book explores how
there's not necessarily a perfect definition of a good person
or a perfect definition of a bad person.
The characters are really great.
I love the difference in personality between Agatha and Sophie.
Their personalities are so different and
it just makes the story really fun to read and if you're like me, I really like to
read books where the protagonists go to a magic school.
If I didn't quite sell you with the synopsis of this book and how much I loved it,
it's also a really beautiful book.
The cover is really pretty. It has uneven pages and and it has this gorgeous map inside.
My name is Tom I am from the channel TJ Reads The Stars and
my fantasy sci-fi recommendation for you today is 'Strange the Dreamer' by Laini Taylor.
This is the first book in a young adult fantasy duology and it follows our
main character who is this librarian called Lazlo Strange, who all his life
has been obsessed with the forgotten city of Weep but then one day
opportunity quite literally comes marching through the gates of the city
of Zozma and Laszlo can go on an expedition to this forgotten city and
that is really all you need to know before going into this book.
It's one of those books where you just have to go into it knowing as little as possible
and just let yourself be swept away in it. Yes, there is Lazlo and the expedition
he goes on but there is so much more than that.
There is Gods, there is monsters, there is mythology, there is magic, there is science,
there is alchemy, there is beautiful and lyrical writing. There is fantastically imaginative characters.
This is the perfect time to be reading this book
because as I am filming this the sequel 'Muse of Nightmares' is just weeks away
from release and I cannot wait to get into it. This book is talked about a lot
here on BookTube but do not be scared of the hype.
It is so fantastic and if you are looking for a new fantasy world to be completely
swept up in this is the book for you.

as for a sci-fi or fantasy book recommendation I'd like to recommend
'Long Way To A Small Angry Planet' by Becky Chambers. This book is about Rosemary who
goes on a spaceship with a lot of different people and creatures and
species and robots. It is a very character-driven story.
You really get to know all the characters so well and all that personalities are so
different which I just absolutely love and the plot itself is also really
exciting but it is definitely more of a character driven sci-fi book.
If you like exciting sci-fi books and amazing characters, definitely check out
'The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet. This one is without a doubt one of my all-time
favourite sci-fi books and I can't wait to reread it.
I'm Samantha from the channel 'SamanthaReading' and the book that I am going to recommend to you today is
'The Wicked Deep' by Shea Ernshaw. 'The Wicked Deep' is a YA fantasy that follows the
events that unfold one summer in Sparrow Oregon. 200 years ago in Sparrow,
three sisters were drowned in the harbor because the townspeople believed that
they were witches, which they were. So every summer the Swan sisters come back
to inhabit the bodies of local girls in order to lure boys to the harbor to
drown them for revenge. This happens every summer during a time
that becomes known as Swan season and the town of Sparrow has become a tourist
destination because of all the folklore. Some people believe that it is in fact
the Swan sisters coming back every year, some people think it's just a coincidence
but when Bo, a tourist who's traveling alone, comes to town our main
character, Penny, vows to try to keep him safe. This book is perfect for the
upcoming fall season because it is so spooky and atmospheric and the
characters are really well developed and really fun to follow. So if you haven't
read 'The Wicked Deep' yet, I recommend you do it. Shea Ernshaw is a debut author and
after you read this you'll definitely want more from her.

I don't read that much fantasy. These two books are actually two of my
favourites of the whole year, so I decided to share them with you guys and that
it's gonna be 'The Goddess Test by Amy Carter and this is a Hades and Persephone
retelling and I'm pretty sure. Explaining fantasy is a whole other world for me
and the other one is 'The Wrath & the Dawn' by Renee Ahdieh.
I really like retellings, so if you also like retellings
I would pick up 'The Wrath & the Dawn' or The Goddess Test or both, just saying, okay.
Hello everyone, my name is Sophie from the channel SophisticatedBooks.
I wish I could recommend a solid sci-fi novel that no one has heard about yet
but I haven't actually read that many, so I think that this video will be really
useful for me too. So instead I'm gonna recommend an underrated fantasy novel
which is 'Ruined' by Amy Tintera. This whole story and its premise sounds like
everything that we've seen before a million times and before reading it I
thought it had all the chances to turn out to be a flop but I was actually
really surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
So it's this revenge story about infiltrating the royal family and although it has so
many cliches, they were written in an addictive and fantastic way.
I thought it would be good to recommend a different type of fantasy book, a more relaxed one.
While I admit that it's not the most original plot line, I thought the magic system
was actually really interesting and intricate but 'Ruined' has so many good
dialogues, sarcasm and the ending is everything. This was my OG book with the
revenge plot line and I seriously loved it. So go into it ready to have a good time.
Hello everyone my name is Jen from the channel BookSyrup and the fantasy
book that I would like to recommend is 'Red Sister' by Mark Lawrence.
This is an adult epic fantasy novel about a young girl named Nona, who is
taken from poverty into a nunnery but this nunnery just isn't any nunnery.
It is a nunnery for assassins that protect this crumbling world that is
being surrounded by ice. It's a really beautiful and just badass novel and I
highly recommend it especially if you love epic fantasy/
I'm Sophie from SophieElaineReads and I just wanted to recommend one of my favourite sci-f novels
and that is 'The Loneliest Girl in the Universe' by Lauren James.
This follows our main character who is the only surviving member of a spaceship
that is heading towards a new planet so that they can go live there and create a new life.
Years later another spaceship is launched from Earth with just one
boy onboard and these two characters just start emailing each other and gradually
they fall in love but like all YA novels nothing goes to plan and that's all I'm going to say.
This had me hooked. There's lots of twists and turns and I just really, really recommend it.
I'm Sandy from the channel Sandy Reads A Lot and I would like to recommend 'Warcross' by Marie Lu.
This book takes place in a world that has virtual reality and it follows our
main character Emika who's actually a bounty hunter and a hacker.
One day she hacks herself into the opening games of the International Warcross Championships
and she ends up accidentally glitching herself into the game.
So she gets caught she thinks she's going to be arrested but instead the
creator of the game offers her a job opportunity and the story goes from there.
I loved learning about the world. The story was just really action-packed and thrilling.
I was engaged the entire time. There's also a slow-burning romance
in this book that I also really enjoyed. Overall this book was great.
It had everything that I loved reading about in books and if you haven't picked it up I
would highly recommend that you check it out.

today I want to recommend to you one of my favourite sci-fi books that actually
made me really think but I do enjoy sci-fi really very much and that is
'Hull Metal Girls' Emily Skrutskie and it's a story about spaceships
traveling to find a new habitable place like Earth and about group of people
Aisha and Kai being the main ones who become these cyborgs and how they are
trained and how they have this big network. It's so action-packed, it has a lot of character development
and it's all set in space and it has all the crazy space thing. So I cannot recommend it enough.

My fantasy recommendation is 'The Last Namsara' by Kristen Ciccarelli.
The book is so fast paced, it's so easy to read, it features amazing characters.
It has a slow burn forbidden romance, which I am a sucker for and it also features dragons.
So I mean where can you go wrong?
If you haven't read this book highly recommend it it is such a great read.
I'm Mel from Mel The Raven Girl and today I'm going to be recommending to you
'The Girl of Fire and Thorns' by Rae Carson. This is the first book of a YA fantasy trilogy
following a princess who is married off to a king and she doesn't know why.
She also has a god stone in her belly button, which means that she is God's chosen one
and it was destined to perform a great deed for the kingdom.
I recommend this book for so many reasons. First of all, it's a very easy fantasy to get into.
So if you're new to genre I'd highly recommend starting here. Second of all, it's a very diverse fantasy.
The world is based on Latinx culture and our main character is plus size.
So you do get a really interesting perspective and a really interesting world.
And lastly it also has amazing character development with a
great romance, that doesn't actually take over at the plot. So if you're not one of
those people who loves really heavy romantic fantasies, I would definitely
recommend this but also if you do love a good romance in a fantasy, I would also
recommend this because it a very good romance. Overall this is just a
really great trilogy with amazing character growth and an amazing plot and
amazing writing and I would highly recommend.
Hi, it's Rocky from the channel Blonde With the Book and my young adult science fiction
recommendation would be 'Nemesis' by Brendon Reichs. This is about the two
characters Noah and Min and they live in the same town but they don't really know
each other very well but since they were both eight years old, every other year on
their birthday they are murdered by a mysterious man and then they wake up
miles away with no recollection as to how they got there and so both of them
on their 16th birthday decide enough is enough and they end up getting thrown
together by a series of events and realise this is happening to both them
and they work together to try to uncover what is going on with them and they end
up kind of unearthing this whole government conspiracy in their town.
While everyone on planet is scared about this asteroid that is hurtling towards
Earth and threatening humanity. So there's definitely a lot going on in this book.
It's one that definitely keeps you engaged because so much is happening
but I would recommend a lot of people pick it up and give it a try because
it's one that's it's very unique and it's very different and I have not read
the sequel yet but I'm very excited to get to it and see what happens because
spoiler alert, this ends on a very serious cliffhanger ending.
The book I have chosen is 'Every Heart a Doorway' by Seanan McGuire. This is a really short novel, long novella
and it is a fantasy but it follows the people coming back from
fantasy worlds instead of being in them. It is a series but this can also be read as a standalone.
The writing here is some of the best writing I have ever read.
It reads so beautifully. The main character is also asexual
one of the other characters is also trans. The representation here is wonderful.
It is a diverse, beautiful fantasy and if you have not yet read it I definitely recommend you pick it up.
It's Cara from Wild Book Garden and today I am recommending
'A Crown of Wishes' by Roshani Chokshi. This is the companion sequel to
'The Star Touched Queen' which I liked but didn't love. This book I loved.
There's a magical tournament there are fantastic characters Gauri our female main character
character is so strong and also really feminine and I really loved that combination.
If you like the magic and the world-building in this book are
really beautiful in the relationships and the character dynamics like between
especially our two main characters of Gauri and Vikram were just so well done.
I just think this is a fantastic fantasy book especially because it draws on
Indian mythology, which is not something we get nearly enough of in publishing.

a wide variety of books but one of my favourite genres is sci-fi. So I'm here to
recommend one of my favourite sci-fi series which is 'The Lunar Chronicles' by Marissa Meyer.
This is a series full of different fairy tale retellings that all
are intricately woven and have very distinct characters and work really well together.
It's exciting and it's fun to read. It comes together so nicely.
I love everything about this series because it is amazing and I highly, highly recommend.

that power they exploit it against the commoners and you have to work for free for ten years for them.
We follow a very morally ambiguous cast of characters.
You never know what their ulterior motive is. The setting of this book is beautiful.
A lot of the estates of based on National Trust properties so aesthetic.
This is a very dark read that explores social injustice, entrenched in
a Britain then have some fantastical elements.
It's Paola from the channel Paola Mancera and today I would like to recommend
'Cheerleaders From Planet X' by Lisa Chiauari.
It's a phenomenal book about family secrets and plot twists
and there is an F/F romance in it and I just can't believe I read it so long ago
and I don't talk about it enough on my channel. So make sure to check it out if
you're into some cool and not overbearing sci-fi books.
Hello, I'm Lily from from Lykaios Reads and my recommended read
is 'Black Tides of Heaven' by Jy Yang. This book is set in a world where people decide their gender
when they are ready to, if they want to at all, they don't have to and that is completely respected.
This one is about two twins. One of the twins
Mokoya begins to have prophetic dreams and no matter how much the twins try,
they cannot stop these dreams from coming true and this causes big problems.
Meanwhile, the other twin is exploring who they are and there's lots
of themes of identity and growing up. Anybody who reads YA would really enjoy this series.
They're very small. They're very interesting.
They're quite dark and they're very, very queer. It's great. I love it and beautiful covers.

Hey guys, my name is Jaedyn. The fantasy book I'm going to be recommending
is 'The Bear and the Nightingale' by Katherine Arden.
This is the first book in a adult historical fiction fantasy series, following a young
girl named Vasilia she grows up in the Russian countryside. After the death of
her mother and remarriage of her father, to her now step-mum, all the old Russian
folklore and fairy tales have been forbidden to be practiced within
the household and eventually all the ancient practices are forgotten within the town.
However Vasilia can see all the demons in the stories and knows them not
to be fake and so tries to keep up the tradition because of the uprising of an
ancient God who has started to awake after thousands of years.
It's really, really atmospheric. It's a kind of book with the description that makes you feel the cold.
Like you feel cold, you feel the Russian weather when you're reading this
and you become so incredibly immersed in the book I highly, highly recommend it
to anyone who's looking for something similar to 'The Night Circus'.

This was my first book I read by this author and I think it is the
perfect place to start reading his books and also if you want to get into adult fantasy.
Elantris once was a beautiful city inhabited by people that were
considered gods but now they have turned into some kind of zombie like
creatures and the city is in ruins. The magic is lost and our main characters
have to find a way to solve all these problems.
This novel is full of political intrigue, religion, magic
and I am completely sure that you are going to love it.

recommend to you guys in the fantasy category is the 'Lux' series by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
The book follows the main character Katie, who recently moved to a new town.
Her father died from cancer and her mother is a nurse, so her mother is
hardly home and she's always working long hours. So Katie finds herself at
home all the time and this is where her interest towards from neighbours start
spreading out and she goes under training discovering that the neighbours
are not as normal as she might think. The main character Katie's reader so she's someone that
you can really relate to. The stories's a fast read you and I feel as if you guys would really enjoy the story.

and I'm here today to give you a really great fantasy rec.
'The Realm of the Elderling' series by Robin Hobb. This is an adult epic fantasy series
that follows the life of our main protagonist Fitz who is a royal bastard
who is trained to be a courtly assassin. It's just an incredibly rich, beautiful detailed world.
'Assassin's Apprentice' is the first book you're gonna want to start with
and I just can't recommend this series enough.
I'm Ceri from Ceri Louise Reads and my YA sci-fi recommendation for you today is
one of my favourite books from last year and that is 'The Loneliest Girl in the Universe' by Lauren James.
It is the story of Romi who is 14 years old and she is
the only survivor on a spaceship bound for a new planet to create a new colony from Earth.
We don't know what's happened to her parents, what's happened to the rest
of the crew and that is unraveled as the story goes on.
Another ship on its way which is gonna catch up. It seems that it's gonna
solve all her problems but actually everything that's not what it seems.
There are so many twists and turns this is gripping, exciting and I hugely recommend it.
I would recommend Neil Gaiman's 'American Gods' to anybody.
It's a wonderful fantasy all about the various gods from the Christian religion
as well as Native American folklore, Egyptian religion and a whole lot of other places as well.
It's also wonderfully inter woven together, so it's absolutely seamless
with a whole lot of plot twists and brilliant world building
and I just generally really, really love it.
I would recommend it to absolutely anybody who loves fantasy.
The book I'm going to recommend is called 'Warriors in the Mist' by Susan D. Collier.
It's a dark medieval fantasy.
This is actually my favourite book in the world.
It's about a female, she's a priestess and she's all
about give of yourself, give love, you can solve any problem with love and she hates violence.
She won't even look at a sword because that's a symbol of violence.
The other character in the book is a man. He drinks, he smokes, he curses, he's all about violence.
He says you must solve every problem with violence.
Something in the story happens where they're thrown together.
They learn off of each other. He teaches her it's damaging to be so giving of yourself.
That you must also take and she teaches him it's also damaging to just take for yourself without giving.
So they actually come into an equal balance of that lesson and it was very beautifully done.
It taught me a life lesson that I've carried through since I last read this book.
Hi I'm Julia from Shakespeare and Such and the fantasy book that I would love to recommend is
'Girls Made of Snow and Glass' by Melissa Bashardoust. This book is a YA standalone 'Snow White' retelling,
that focuses on the relationship between Lynette, the 'Snow White' character
and Mina her stepmother and how it evolves and changes as
Lynette gets older and as they both grow to learn more about themselves and their own personal history
I absolutely loved this book. I loved that it focused on
that maternal relationship between the two, as well as them each having their
own very interesting and pretty sweet romantic plot lines. It has some minor
magical elements as well as being fairytale based and has a little bit of
court politics too so kind of ticks all the fantasy boxes.
My name is Rachael from Rachael Marie and I am recommending to you
'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss.
This is the story of Kvothe the innkeeper, who has lived this big epic life full of beautiful magic.
He has slain kings, he has bedded fae women. His story is incredible
and he is now in hiding and doesn't really have a scratch of magic at all
and he is telling his epic story to a chronicler and we get to find out who
this man is and what the hell happened to him. I absolutely adore this book.
I know that you will too. It's totally in the realms of Brandon Sanderson,
J.R. Tolkien and JK Rowling

Yo, ladies and gents! You're watching Pav's Music Lab!
In this video I'm gonna tell you about how i got into Berklee college of music (Boston, USA).
At the end of 2016 my ex-girlfriend told me that berklee has an annual summer educational program.
It's called five week summer perfomance program.
Great thing about summer programs in berklee is that 5-6 months before the start of the program
there's an opportunity to audition via internet
so you can get a scholarship.
Scholarship is the amount of money that covers a part or a full price of tuition.
You should pay a 50$ registration fee to be able to audition.
I wasn't sure about this whole thing at first
but then i decided to give it a try.
I researched all the info on berklee web site
and decided to aply for Rock Workshop ensemble.
For the audition i had to shoot and send three videos on given parameters.
First - rock rhythm guitar, second - rock solo guitar and third - rock acoustic guitar.
Also I had to write a short esse about your background and musical experience.
I don't know if any members of the commission noticed unobtrusive consept in terms of selecting the songs for my audition.
I played two songs of Extreme band which was actually formed in Boston
and one song of Steve Vai. He actually was studying in Berklee
and his song i played is called Boston Rain Melody.
A little creative choice.
In the middle of February i had my three videos shot and sent.
The results were gonna be announced in the middle of April.
In this period after i sent those videos and until the results
i almost forgot about all this.
Just sent them without any expectations.
So the April has come. Day X.
I was riding in the bus after my rehearsal and i got a phone call.
I heard English language and i remembered what is the day today.
Without any English speaking experience it was hard to understand what they told me
But from all of that i heard the word scholarship
and it was enough to get exited!
40 minutes later i got the email
telling me that i was awarded with full scholarship that covers tuition, housing and meals!
To say that i was exited is to say nothing!
I was totally shocked!
Dream of a life time to visit USA and especially such a legendary place like berklee
finally came true!
Successfully i got my visa
and on July 7th 2017 I took off to Boston.
In the beginning of five weeks I had to audition for assigning by levels.
The questions from this audition i liked the most were
What do you like? What do you like to play? What would you want to learn?
I like this method very very much.
During those five weeks i had deferent guitar labs,
classes of music theory, improvisation, songwriting, music business,
ensemless, deferent master classes and concerts.
Everything there is on a very very high level.
My main class was Rock Workshop.
We were playing a concert at Berklee's club Cafe 939
and 15 minutes set on a blowout consert at Berklee Perfomance Center.
Also i got into Five Week Rock All Stars ensemble which i was playing with the same blowout night at BPC.

But this is not the end of the story!
On Berklee five weeks there's an option to audition for a full-time studying in college.
Of course i went to this audition.
But due issues with graduation date in my college in Moscow
They could offer me one more summer program scholarship for the next summer!
Of course next summer of 2018 i went to Berklee again!

But they said i can audition and raise it even untill a full one.
In the end i wanna talk about the most important thing i got from Berklee by now.
It's the ability to concentrate on my own individuality.
The amount of prodigy per one square meter there is extremely high!
Earlier in Russia i could make some indulgences to myself
like: "Nobody plays that way here, I'm gonna be the only one!"
or "Nobody makes that genre of music here, I,m gonna be the one!
In Berklee that's not gonna work.
People there can play any styles, any techniques and they make any possible genres of music.
It really brought me down at first
But later i stoped playing these games like: "Who would rip a faster lick" or "who would sing a higher note".
I started listening to my particular qualities and developing my own style.
So that's the whole story!

ANTKEEPING | Hibernation - Duration: 9:11.
There are many
requests for a video about ants' hibernation and
how it should be done in captivity,
at the point that I decided to anticipate the publication of this video.
I would start from the beginning and why
ants like many other organisms, perform this metabolic process
to survive during the winter months.
So-called warm-blooded animals belong to
the category of homeothermic organisms, like humans,
that are biologically evolved to maintain an optimal and stable temperature
inside the body, unconditionally from the external climate.
If it's too cold our body shakes,
if it's too hot we will start to sweat to lower the temperature.
This process is called endotherm.
The endothermic mechanism allows some
of the homeothermic organisms to maintain the body at a constant temperature.
The opposite of homeothermy is the poikilotherm,
belong to this category all animals
called "cold-blooded"
whose body temperature varies greatly according to environmental conditions.
Not having an internal temperature regulation mechanism
they follow the fluctuations of the outside temperature
and use the environment to manage it.
They stay in the sunlight to increase it
or in water to lower it, this type of thermoregulation
is called ectothermy.
This behavior is particularly developed in reptiles,
but also in amphibians, in many fish and invertebrates,
among which also ants
All living organisms can be part of one
or more of these categories: for example cats and dogs are
homeothermic and endothermic, but they can also use
the ectothermy when they rest in the sun.
Bees are poikilothermic and ectothermic
but can use wing muscles to generate heat,which also makes them endothermic.
As far as we are concerned, ants belong to the
poikilothermic and ectothermic categories.
Temperature plays an important role in all living things
some biological processes, activation of enzymes
or metabolisms are optimized to act at specific temperatures.
Endothermics as mentioned above,
maintain constant the internal body temperature
and as a result our metabolism remains constant,
our digestion and respiration remain constant,
muscles, movements, nervous activity, circulatory system
remain relatively constant whether
the external temperatures are hot or cold.
Ectothermics such as ants
have a temperature that matches with the environment
and binds their biological processes
When the ambient temperature is high
even the internal temperature of the ants is high
and this leads to an acceleration of all their processes
they digest the food and convert it into energy more quickly
which means that they move faster,
they are more hungry, their Nervous processes and
cell reproduction are faster,
queens produce more eggs and larvae grow faster,
in short,
everything is faster when temperatures are warm.
When the ambient temperature lowers
their bodies become cold
and in these conditions
ants simply slow down.
Feeding, movements, metabolism,
growth all undergoes a strong slowdown,
and that's what happens when we put our colonies in hibernation
Biologically speaking,
poikilothermy and ectothermy are valid survival strategy
during the winter as food demand drops considerably
when a homeothermic organism, like human
on the other side needs more food to keep its internal temperature warm.
Poikilothermics and ectothermics in cold temperatures
don't need food because everything is slower.
During winter hibernation ants don't need food
because they're virtually shut down to a state of stasis,
this means that even the maintenance by
the antkeeper will be less.
Beyond to be poikilothermic and Ectothermic
ants also fall into the category of
bradymetabolic organisms.
Bradymetabolism refers to a lethargic state so slow
that it is almost close to death,
that in response to extreme winter conditions
or lack of food.
When temperatures are lower, you will notice the ants' appetite and
in general all the activities will drop considerably,
they will try to close the entrance of their nest with debris.
Some of them will make stocks to survive
during the months when they don't have the possibility to forage.
Ok, let's move on to the practical part,
at what temperature it is performed and how
antkeepers induces his colonies to hibernation.
Essentially you have to provide to your colony a very cold place.
Do not place the formicariums outside without any protection
because temperatures of some degrees below 0°C
could kill the ants,
in nature they have the possibility to dig deeper
to reach the ideal temperature.
If you do not have other possibilities,
you could build a polystyrene box where you can place the formicarium inside.
If you have the possibility to use a refrigerator all be better,
but make sure to set the minimum settings and check
that the temperature is right, this is probably the best method
because it allows you to have a fixed temperature.
The most plausible option is
to put your colonies in a cold room without heating
such as a basement, a garage, or anyway
where the temperatures are low enough for
them to hibernate
Don' t worry about freezing your ants to death,
in their hemolymph there is glycerin
which acts as antifreeze and prevents it from freezing at temperatures close to 0°C
temperatures close to 0°C
A temperature between 5 to 10 °C
is sufficient for most of the species.
Ants don't require food during the hibernation phase,
but still need moisture and water.
If the colony is still in the test tube,
you don't need to worry about because they're already inside.
If your colony is already in a formicarium,
you need to manage these factors properly.
Although in winter it will be easier to keep humidity because of the temperatures
don't forget for any reason to hydrate the nest
with a certain regularity.
Some species of ants native to the warmer regions
such as the south and the islands of Italy with the classic Mediterranean climate,
can do without the hibernation
process if they are kept warm during the winter.
Usually these species enter in a slowing down stage
already around 15-20 ° C
Their evolutionary instinct is to hibernate during the 2-3 cold months
when in nature temperatures are low and food is scarce.
If you dealing with these species
then you will need to provide food from time to time as
the colony is not in a complete hibernation stage.
Pay attention to sudden changes in temperature
because they can be dangerous for the colony.
You should ensure a gradual decline by reaching the hibernation
temperature within a few days.
For example, you should not move the colony from a temperature of 28 ° C
directly in the refrigerator to 5 ° C. The same also applies to the
awakening from hibernation.
If inside the colony there are still many pupae
waiting to open, you should wait until they are born...

Unlike larvae and adult ants, pupae can not enter in stasis
and in this stage they will not exceed winter.
My personal advice is
to perform always the annual hibernation if
the species performs it in nature.
The process of hibernation is a very important stage
in the life of an ants colony, it allows a prolonged
rest to the workers but mainly allows the queen
a pause from the deposition of eggs and will prolong their life.
Furthermore, after a correct hibernation phase,
phase, the deposition rate will be faster and more tight
than a restless cycle.
If you dealing with an exotic species,
you need to know very well about their habits.
In particular the species that come from tropical climates
do not hibernate and you will have to make sure
to keep a warm temperature even during the winter.

or heating cables.

completely unfair.

what is good Youtube Warstu here with a video on the Sony's venom movie so this
movie is coming out it's Sunday today it's coming out on Wednesday the 3rd of
October and I can't wait to tell you guys about it so this video is going to
be talking about the post-credits scene and how it could possibly affect the MCU

scene so in the first one Eddie goes for his exclusive interview with lessard
Cassidy played by Woody Harrelson Harrison wears a wig and looks like
penny wise without the clown makeup he asks Eddie if he wants to hear about
him being a sewer killer if he wants to hear the carnage so just like in and
these supposedly plot for the movie there is a carnage set up this is
obviously setting up the movie for venom to wear obviously is going to be venom
versus carnage but we let's not get ahead of herself because unless the
movie is successful it is tracking over 60 million dollars for the opening
weekend so there should be a venom 2 we know Tom Hardy has signed a
three-day-old contract for the trilogy but Sony won't make a second venom movie
unless the first venom movie does well now it's interesting cuz Tom Hardy has
literally said there's a venom verse with 900 characters and if they can't
get to work with spider-man they can just literally pick anyone from that so
it's almost like saying yeah we kind of know if spider-man has come in but we're
not gonna tell you so is spider-man gonna be part the venom verse future
well they could be he could be because when this deal ends up after spider-man
3 I believe it is then it's Sony technically would have the rights back
to the character they own so it is cool that we get a carnage tease now the
second one is not really a post-credits scene to be honest it says meanwhile in
another spider-verse and it's a preview of enterprise verse
which is the movie that's coming out at the end of year in December I believe
it's animation so nothing really major in these post-credit scenes mid
credit post credits scenes but you know Marvel made and popular now every single
superhero movie tends to have a post credit scene even but highly anticipated
but really didn't do that well Justice League movie had a post credit scene
which was one of the best post credits scenes ever we got to see Deathstroke
and Superman and flash have a race they were really good post credits scenes so

Facts That Change The Way You Look At Stormtroopers - Duration: 4:27.
They may get a pretty bad rap, but Star Wars' most iconic villains are more than just disposable,
nameless bodies in plastic-looking white armor.
Here are a few facts you might not have known about stormtroopers.
Dark origins
Okay, so they don't exactly goose-step around the Death Star, but Imperial stormtroopers
are indeed heavily inspired by the stormtroopers used by Germany in the first half of the twentieth
century.
During the First World War, the German Empire used small units of soldiers called Sturmabteilung,
or "storm troops," to break through enemy lines using clandestine infiltration tactics.
In the early 1920s, Hitler gave the same name to the paramilitary group which provided him
protection at party meetings, who are today better known as the SA.
Recognizable for their brown shirts and black jackboots, the SA often utilized violence
against enemies of the burgeoning Nazis and were heavily featured in both pro and anti-fascist
propaganda.
The brown shirts had much in common with their bucket-headed offshoots, including their knack
for spreading terror and their unwavering allegiance to their evil leader.
The fact they share a name isn't a coincidence, you know.
Lightsabers
Back in 1975, when George Lucas and his team were first laying the foundations for the
Star Wars universe, lightsabers weren't a weapon limited to the Jedi Knights.
Ralph McQuarrie's early concept art featured stormtroopers wielding lightsabers along with
their own handheld shields.
Lucas originally envisioned the iconic weapons being as being as commonplace in the galaxy
as blasters, but quickly decided to limit their usage to the Jedi to add to their mystique.
Seems like Han was right after all.

Famous faces
By now, everyone knows that Bond star Daniel Craig had a brief cameo as an easily-mind-tricked
First Order stormtrooper in The Force Awakens, but he wasn't alone.
Rogue One composer Michael Giacchino, Radiohead's Nigel Godrich and Clerks director Kevin Smith
all donned the iconic mask for appearances throughout the film.
Even Mark Hamill donned stormtrooper duds and surprised fans along Hollywood Boulevard
as a prank for charity in 2015.
Princes William and Harry made Imperial cameos in The Last Jedi too, though their scene was
cut because they were too tall.
Becoming the mask
Though the Republic genetically engineered their soldiers on Kamino, rather than using
human recruits like the Empire and First Order, clone troopers actually had more freedom to
express their own individuality.
Each clone trooper was given a designation number, but they quickly established distinct
personalities, gave each other nicknames, and even used facial tattoos and markings
as a way to identify each other.
Clone troopers established a real sense of camaraderie and often referred to one another
as "brother."
But that didn't last.
All stormtroopers in the Empire and First Order were thought of as faceless and nameless,
and were only allowed to refer to one another by numerical classification whilst on the
job.
The rules
It's probably not much of a shock to find that the leaders of the Empire were pretty
big control freaks, and that was no different when it came to the stormtroopers.
All their conversations were not only recorded via their helmet comlinks, but downloaded
and reviewed in an effort to cut down on non-essential talking on duty and curtail any potentially
rebellious behavior.
So no discussing your favorite cantina bands or whining about how much your boss sucks.
Uniforms, including helmets, were to be worn at all times in order to maintain a sense
of discipline and represent the Empire in a positive light.
And don't even think about turning on the A/C. Imperial stormtroopers were forbidden
from using the internal cooling systems in their armor in non-critical situations because
of how much power they'd drain so good luck if you were stationed on Tatooine.
Survival of the fittest
First Order and Imperial stormtroopers all receive extensive training beyond basic combat,
including survival skills in extreme climates.
Their 18-piece armor, worn over a sealed black body glove, features temperature control and
enhanced vision capabilities, so they can easily adapt to any condition.
The black body glove is insulated so stormtroopers can work relatively comfortably, no matter
the weather and even in vacuum conditions.
Stormtroopers also have an air purification system to filter out toxins and create breathable
air in harmful environments.
Their training, coupled with their environmental controls, allowed for the creation of specialized
units like snowtroopers, sandtroopers and scout troopers, who are able to serve in harsher
climates.

What's up, everyone?
It's Chas from Thrillist,
and today we are deep in the heart of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn,
to check out a neighborhood Greek restaurant
called Somethingreek.
Now, we're not here to have their gyros
or any of your normal fare.
We're here to try out pastitsio,
a towering pile of meat, cheese, and pasta.
What's not to love?
- My favorite thing about cooking the pastitsio
is probably the whole house or the whole restaurant
smells like that cheesiness pastitsio,
you get a little bit of the cinnamon,
you get a little bit of the nutmeg.
It's beautiful.
I love it.
I can't get enough.
The smell of the pastitsio brings me back
to being in my grandmother's house,
being in my house.
And I have three other brothers and a sister,
and we would just wait just for that
to come out of the stove.
My mother wouldn't let us touch it for a good hour
because you do need to let it cool down,
but we just couldn't wait to get our hands on it
and just eat it.
A lot of times we'd eat it before my dad got home,
and he'd be lucky if he actually got a piece.
I wanna tell you that I've eaten pastitsio so many times
in so many different households,
just trying stuff and seeing who's doing what
and what flavors they're putting inside.
My mom would make it as a three-tier pastitsio.
I wanted to say lasagna-style,
but it's definitely not lasagna.
The truth is, I've been doing it like this for so long,
I don't know any different.
It's been this way ever since I can remember.
- Wow, look at this thing.
It is just a brick of meat, cheese, and pasta.
This is comfort food at its best.
All right, let's break into this.
Get a nice mixture of it all.
Make sure we get some grease in there, too.
What's really jumping out at me is this bechamel.
It's not like any one I've ever had before.
Normally I think of the type that you get in mac & cheese.
It's a little runnier, almost more soupy.
But this, it's got like a ricotta-like texture to it,
and it's part of the reason why this dish
is so visually impactful here.
It's just a big brick of comfort,
and it's got this great form to it.
Also, flavor-wise, it's a little salty,
and that's from this Greek cheese that they're getting
that I don't want to butcher the name on --
- Kefalograviera
- It's definitely the secret to its success.
Hold on, let me just get in here.
I feel like a miner right now, just trying to get some meat.
But I mean look at that, it's just meat.
I kind of was thinking it was going to be a little saucier,
but I'm not complaining.
What's really tying this whole dish together though
is the pasta.
I mean, you have creaminess from the cheese,
fattiness from the meat,
but the pasta is able to hold its own in there, too,
and really ties the bite together.
It's total comfort food.
Wow, I'm getting really stuffed,
but I'm going to let the crew pick at this.
