Do you know that, if you just do not want to see anything more of the world?

I know Ira has depression and I know she has behavioral problems.

That's okay, when I harme people with problems and mental problems,

that's okay, nothing will happen.

That's exactly what happens. That's not good for her, that's not good for you.

Sure that everything is OK? Because this is not really normal anymore.

I really don't need to get stupid with you, you fuck slut.

I need someone to tell me that this isn't okay.

I don't want to know why this happens to me, I just want it to stop.

So prescribe me something so that this shit is finally over.

Come on Ira, what's going on between you and him?

Oh nothing.

So, well, nothing yet.

Who knows what will happen ...

- How many times in your life have you found yourself

with a big problem to solve?

And, it might be something that's happening right now.

Life is full of puzzles and problems

that we have to overcome.

And when we are faced with a puzzle or faced with a problem

we have to handle, we are taught to seek outside ourselves

and go and find something that we're gonna use

to fix the problem.

But then that creates a whole new problem, doesn't it?

Because what if you don't have the things you need?

What if you don't have the time?

What if you don't have the money?

What if you don't have the connections?

What if you don't have the skills?

What if you don't have what you need to actually solve

this problem that's creating so much resistance

and so much pain in your life?

What do you do then?

This is when it's very easy to start to tell a story

of, I don't have enough.

I don't have what I need to solve this problem

so I guess I'm just gonna deal with this problem.

That creates another story that there are other people

who have what they need, and they don't have problems.

You can tell any story you like.

And at the end of the day, it's less important what's true

than it is what's useful.

Is it useful to tell a story that there are others

who have more than we do, others who have more than you do,

and that it's not fair and that they shouldn't have it

and you should?

Is that really a useful story to tell?

I'm not suggesting that that might not exist.

But ultimately, you right now where you are,

you have the ability to make choices.

And you can choose to tell the story of scarcity.

You can choose to tell the story that you don't have enough

and that might well be the case right now,

but it doesn't have to stay that way.

And there are plenty of examples

in this world of people who went from not having

the resources to finding out a way to create them.

There are plenty of examples in this entire beautiful planet

that we live in of people who went from having nothing

to making it.

And you know what that means?

That means that if one person did it,

that means you can do it too.

Instead of telling a story that there are those others

who have what you need, why not allow yourself

to simply experience a pause?

Allow yourself to experience the moment of taking stock

of what you do have.

You've got eyes to watch this video.

You've got ears to hear these words.

You've got a mind to analyze and to think.

You have a heart to desire.

You have a soul or spirit or energy,

whatever it is that animates us while we're here.

You've got a lot going for you.

If you'll give yourself credit for how far you've come.

If you'll actually take stock of all of the resources

that you do have, and then the resourcefulness

that's inside of you, the ambition, the ability to think,

the ability to learn, the ability to grow,

if you've got that, that's really all you need

to go from where you are to the best next thing.

You don't need to know the whole plan.

You don't need to know all the steps,

you just gotta know what the next step's gonna be.

And I would suggest that the first step is

to start telling a story of enough.

OderSpreeAngler VS Daniel Andriani | YouTube Predator Cup 2018 - Duration: 29:45.

The YouTube Predator Cup is going to be presented by

DUO Germany,

Angeljoe and BassBrigade

In todays match Christopher Mietzner

is going to fish the first time in this Cup

With his YouTube Channel: OderSpreeAngler he is one

one of the most popular YouTubers of the german

fishing scene.

Born in Frankfurt, his favorite target fish is pike

but he also really likes Aspius

His biggest fish was a Asp

This 85cm large aspius

To get in the next round Chris needs

to catch more fish then Daniel Adriani

protagonist from this Channel: hechtundbarsch.de

Born in Zimbabwe, he now lives in Berlin

his favorite target fish is perch.

His biggest catch was this

52cm large perch, he caught it

in Brandenburg, germany

Your first Battle

and also your first Battle

Today is going to be very exciting

What is the plan?

Yea, good morning!

My plan is, to catch the three counting fish

because we are only allowed to

bring three fish to the scoreboard.

and my final Plan is

to win this Match

Do you have shaky knees?

a little bit

a hard enemy

Chris you chose this water?

Are you confident?

Yes I've fished here three or four times

hopefully we see fish today!

And not only sweating heads

ok super, so let's start

This match is going to be moderated by Babs Kijewski

They fish from a boat for pike and perch

Both Anglers have 6 hours to catch fish

Only baits are allowed, no deadbaits.

Trawling is prohibited

Pike's length is going to be multiplicated with 1

Zander with 1.3 and perch with 2.4

If none of both Anglers catch a measurable fish, the

the quantity of caught fish counts.

You can find the whole rules in

the videodescription

You are pretty confident, right?

yes

I could catch good fish at this spot

in the past years

I start with a Wobbler..

As fist you focus on pike

yes

And how many would you like to catch?

1 pike?

That would be good, that is my lure

A pretty good lure

Daniel yesterday we've also tested this water

and thatswhy you are pretty confident?

You know the water now

How big is the Chance

that we will see fish today

I think the chance is pretty high

because we did not catch anything yetserday? yes.

Because we blanked yesterday, we

have to catch something today

and also

because Chris knows where the good spots are

That is what I wanted to ask

because he decides the spots as first

I think this is not that bad

because if the fish are there

we both will catch them, because we are at the same boat

and I think my Chance is better to catch one

Oldschool lure

As Chris said this is a competition and we need to give

everything, also those baits

And I have a clear tactic

because the fish want much action

We found out that the fish want much action

and we need to tempt them

because they are not very

hungry, especially

with this warm weather.

Hopefully Chris did not hear this

But you should know

I heard everything

We saw some perch

Chris saw them as first

Come on!

No fish at the first spot

and the temperature is rising

can the Anglers find a

way to catch the predators

at the second spot?

We now arrived

at a very shallow

plateau

It is only 1.5m deep

in here.

But the special thing

is, there is a hole

where

it is 5 to 6 meters deep

This is a pretty good fish magnet

and you should always fish in

those special structures

I am pretty excting, the

first throws are determining

You don't have that many lures

no, because you don't need them all

And I know this water

I know which lure works

Many small baits

I also have some small lures

They are on the ground.

There is a special OSA bait

This one needs to catch today

Daniel does not know what to

fish

I know, I want to fish this softbait and

this jerk

The baits needs to be in the water

or you will catch nothing, I would

already be successful

The first fish!

Can I help you?

sure

What a monster!

fish is fish

We need to check whether it is big enough

that is the start, congratulations

The first fish of the day is 45cm long

unlucky

for Chris, because in this

water minimum size for pike is 60cm

so this fish saved him no points.

But Chris is still in the lead, because

with this undecided points, the quantity counts

How is that for you?

Not that good to be honest

You are under pressure

sure, the pressure is hard..

but it is okay

we have plenty of time left

Good job Chris

Now you are pretty relieved

yes, I can fish very calm

But this can changes everytime

definitive

way to small

The next fish is also to small

and samller then the pike by Chris, but

this fish saves Daniel the compensation

Chris is still very calm

and still demonstrates

his confidence, to win this match

Finally a fish!

The right bait for small ones, sure!

Now it is geeting hot!

You will see a catfight today

We move on

to a spot where it is much deeper

Come on Daniel, let's go!

Next spot; with this one Chris has a special memory

To be honest

I caught my biggest pike at this spot

1.04m

And I hope to catch a big one know

It is an other season of the year

but why not?

I fish the same bait

Daniel didn't see it

Just try your best

We need to search the fish today

We have much weed here

and I think they stay here

I am excited about this spot

and I realised

that this spot is in the near from

my first spot

I am happy that he decided this one

so we don't need to drive that much

I don't know whether we will catch something here

I am not that confident with this one

Okay guys, 2 minutes and then

the halftime starts

So I can drink something

you need to drink way more

okay 2 minutes

so give everything

better catch a big one

1 minute

I am excited at the second half

it was weed

but it looked good

Earth-4 / Země-4 | DC MULTIVERSE #5 | FloTin - Duration: 4:01.

So gyus in this new episode of DC MULTIVERSE We gonna explore another DC World - EARTH-4.

We will introduce the creators of this world,

explore this world after Flashpoint event,

story arcs from Grant Morrison's Pax Americana...

and finally we will look at some interesting facts.

The universe of Earth-Four is the original home of the action characters from Charlton comics, after being brought by DC comics...

...and integrated to the Pre-Crisis DC multiverse.

It was created by Marv Wolfman, Robert Greenberger and George Pérez.

Now we gonna explore Earth-4 and its story after Flashpoint.

After Infinite Crisis and the following rebirth of the multiverse a new version of Earth-4 debuted in New 52, an Earth-4 than resembled the Charlton characters universe.

However in Multiversity, Grant Morrison played an inversion with the Watchmen-Charlton connection and Earth-4 became an analogy...

and homage to the noted graphic novel, with the original characters being played as their doppelgangers, the Watchmen characters...

and the context of the world including the existence of only one overpowered super-being.

The history in Pax Americana, the name of the team of superheroes, follows the life of the President Harley, and his rise to power, using the superhero idea as his platform.

To reach the dreamed goal of a global peace, he plotted a crazy plan which include his own assassination and resurrection using the powers of Captain Atom.

The superheroes or action heroes in earth 4 started in the 70s with OSI super agents like Dan Garret and normal citizens like Yellowjacket as a mystery man.

In later years new masked mystery men would appear, being sponsored by the charismatic Harley.

Their number would grew and their power would rise with the incorporation of Captain Atom and the lethal super soldier Peacemaker.

The Question would separate from the team and would follow his own morals and instincts which would lead him to uncovered a conspiracy...

...that affected the girlfriend of Peacemaker, Nora O'rourke, killed at the hands of Sarge Steel and the mystery of the algorithm 8.

The assassination of the president Harley was made by Peacemaker himself, the President bodyguard.

However his resurrection didn't happened.

Isn't clear however if the plan was ruined by the invisible hand of the Gentry intervention or if...

...Harley just wanted to be punished by the crime of killing his own father, Yellowjacket, one of the first superheroes.

And final part - interesting facts from history of Earth-4.

Originally the Charlton characters were thought to be used by Alan Moore in a new project called Watchmen.

But the DC editors vetoed the use of those characters, because they feared than the characters would be unusable after the story conclusion.

So Moore reworked his project with new created characters but based strongly in the Charlton archetypes.

Peter Cannon aka Thunderbolt, the character than inspired Ozymandias and who was an inhabitant of Earth-Four,

didn't reappear in the new Earth-4, because their rights returned to his creator.

The analog role of Ozymandias in Pax Americana was assumed by the character of President Harley.

So that would be all from Earth-4.

In new episode we will explore Earth-5 also known as Thunderworld.

Dead Cells & Stream Integration - Duration: 4:34.

Hey guys, a bit shorter video today, but I wanted to talk about the final release of

Dead Cells and something it's incorporated that I haven't really seen another game

do before.

I did a video on Dead Cells right after it entered early access last year, and I got

hooked on it for a good while back then, but that was before they've added the vast majority

of features that it has now.

In case you're unfamiliar, it's a combat focused roguelite metroidvania, yes you heard

that right - procedurally generated runs with permadeath, but the new abilities you gain

unlock alternate pathways as you progress.

Now there's a ton more items, more unlockable runes, more areas to explore, and it's overall

much more difficult as well.

But when everything starts to line up and you watch certain synergies combine to become

overpowered as heck, it can be extremely satisfying.

Basically the entire game is a lot more balanced and it's exactly what you would hope for

as a final product after seeing it's potential earlier in development.

But there's something that caught my attention that I wasn't expecting Dead Cells to include

- a curious option called Streamer Mode.

This allows the game to link up with your Twitch account so that your audience can interact

with the game through streamchat.

Anytime the game needs an input from your viewers it'll put a prompt on screen and

tell them what to type in, and this will vary from voting on which area to head toward next

and choosing how to build your character's upgrades, to more involved mechanics like

becoming one of the bosses or taking control of this adorable little guy, Captain Chicken,

allowing them to be in charge of your healing potions.

It adds in chests that will only open if your chat types words like "bam", "poof",

"pow", "smack", and they can even pick certain modifiers for the next stage

you're about to enter, which can either be helpful, like increasing the number of

times you can jump in the air, or very hurtful, like thick fog turning enemies invisible or

a darkness that kills you as you stray away from the light.

This is where things got really interesting for me, I thought it would be a cooperative

effort to include your viewers on your adventure, but they can be just as much of a hindrance

as a benefit.

In fact, the bosses are especially challenging since they can launch special attacks specific

to streamer mode only, like a horde of enemies or beams of energy falling from the sky.

You can request to be healed by your chicken comrade but chat can actually BLOCK their

ability by typing "noheal", or the captain can also decide to be cruel and just not follow

your requests.

It's fascinating, albeit a bit frustrating as a player - it certainly requires you to

understand that things are gonna get a little zany and not quite like the single player

experience.

I might get upset at the cheap shots they try to pull, but I can tell that as an audience

they're having a great time, especially the person that dealt the finishing blow.

"I got to kill Snoman!", they would taunt at me later in my Discord server.

Now it's definitely not perfect, the fact that there's a stream delay makes certain

actions very hard to time right, plus if your chat dies down a bit it can be more difficult

to function properly, but overall it adds a ton of variety to each run and is pretty

successful at keeping your chat involved in a new and engaging way.

It's essentially a win-win all around, and it made me start to think about what sort

of other games could implement a feature like this.

Fellow roguelites such as Spelunky or the Binding of Isaac seemed to be natural contenders,

since your chat could pick things like what type of floor you'll encounter, certain

items to appear in the shop or which boss you'll face next.

The idea of having a little buddy to guide you along is especially enticing, I think

the audience just likes to be given the spotlight now and again.

If I had one critique it's that I wish there were a few more options.

There's already a plethora of things to toggle on or off, but something like still

allowing a Captain Chicken but without taking away my ability to heal would be very welcome.

Little extra pieces of polish like chat's words of encouragement popping on screen after

death or even notifications of new subscribers complete with fireworks are the perfect way

to round out a feature like this.

As popularity of online streaming increases, I hope we'll continue to see other games

implement stuff like this in the future - what are some games you would like to see have

stream integration?

Put your thinking caps on and tell me about what certain features you would like to see

in these potential games in the comments below.

Huge thanks to everyone who supports me over on Twitch, and be sure to follow me on there

so you don't miss a future stream.

I'll see you guys next time, stay frosty my friends!

Monorails, affordable homes, maybe personal blimps? Our readers redesign Los Angeles - Duration: 12:37.

My recent question was offered up like a fat pitch down the middle of the plate:  Is greater Los Angeles getting better or worse? Advertisement  Your answers were as far apart as Inglewood and Indio:  It's hell on earth

No, wait, it's paradise and getting better all the time.  For the frown-faced pessimists, fear not

In the span of just a few days, readers solved at least one of the region's intractable atrocities and daily annoyances, sort of

Traffic jams will become a faint memory when we implement Ryan Trambley's plan

Are you ready?  Those with even-numbered license plates can drive only on even numbered days

On other days, they'd have to carpool with those who have odd-numbered plates.  Or we could go with Andy Decker's fix

"One word: telecommuting," said Decker, who wonders why so many people commute to jobs where they sit in front of a computer, which can be done without ever leaving the house

And if you must leave the house, go by scooter, says Anders Christensen, who claims he gets everywhere faster at a fraction of the cost of driving a car

I got calls for skyways and monorails, and Tim Hall wants us to "immediately prioritize and treat as an emergency" the building of an elevated train line above the 405 from Long Beach to Westwood

I like his sense of urgency.  Robert Aronson will have us traveling in computer-directed swarming pods, and Lisa Landres will persuade Elon Musk to build small personal blimps while he's working on underground highways

Geoffrey Booth says more dedicated bus lanes, with buses moving faster than cars, might or might not improve traffic but would provide a reliable alternative to people who don't want to be trapped in their cars and their neighborhoods

All of this is possible, right? Maybe not the blimp idea, but in designing a better place to live, we're limited only by our imaginations, ever-elusive consensus and political will

Advertisement Jacket Copy This poem sums up Los Angeles perfectly By Steve Saldivar May 06, 2016 | 4:00 AM  Unsurprisingly, traffic woes dominated the more than 400 responses from readers, with homelessness and housing costs also high on the list of quality-of-life issues, along with calls for better schools, whether they're traditional or charter

Homelessness is complicated, said Grant Janes, but he criticized public officials for not "distinguishing between those homeless who want and need help and those who are content to openly harrass, do drugs and turn our public spaces into dumping grounds

"  Janes extolled L.A.'s virtues — diverse, energetic, entrepreneurial — but said he and his wife have been shocked to see encampments spread in the Los Feliz area and elsewhere, with tents blocking sidewalks and people living in open-air drug markets

"The city is not only failing its residents — it is failing the homeless by enabling this self-destructive behavior," Janes said

Steve Kay fondly recalled riding his bike around Burbank and Colfax as a kid, and walking along railroad tracks to the North Hollywood public pool, where he'd swim all day for a quarter

Now he lives in Northridge and rues what's been lost.  "My kids haven't ridden their bikes anywhere for the last seven years

Too dangerous," he said, and they don't stray too far on foot, partly because of concerns about homeless camps

Kay noted that his childhood home, two bedrooms with 1 ½ baths, sold for $30,000 in 1971 and is worth $1

4 million today.  Such numbers are great for people able to cash out that kind of equity, move to less expensive areas and live comfortably

But home ownership is a dream too big for many people, and high rent is a killer for many others because wages have not kept up with housing costs

"My fix for the housing shortage is for every two homes a developer builds they need to build an affordable home for working-class people," said Fran Potaski of North Hills

Potaski for City Council, the line starts here.  Steven Simich of Westwood had a thought about L

A.'s astronomical income inequality. Many of Hollywood's moguls are liberals, he said, but they are ruthless hypocrites when it comes to demanding tax breaks and skimping on employees who make their multimillion-dollar salaries possible

"They mock Trump, which is easy, but they conduct their lives just like him when it comes to business — private jets, squeezing workers," Simich said

He suggested that CBS President Les Moonves should be content to keep 10% of his salary, a reported $69 million last year, and donate the other 90% to the 401k accounts of his thousands of employees

My guess is that we will all have personal blimps before that happens. Then again, Moonves seems to be in need of a PR makeover at the moment, so what do you say, Les?  It goes without saying that if you ask how to make Los Angeles a better place to live, or even if you ask about the weather or the Dodgers' chances, you will hear from a one-note army of people worked into a permanent lather about illegal immigration

Yes, those here illegally do have an impact on the housing shortage, traffic, homelessness, wages, schools and hospitals

But erasing their presence, which offers benefits as well as costs, doesn't solve any of the big problems

Besides, there's the impractical cost of deportation. And there's the long-standing hypocrisy of demanding the cheapest prices for lettuce, nannies and gardeners, but despising people who escape violence created largely by America's thirst for drugs and risk their lives to come here, which is exactly what most of us would do in similar situations

Business Why are doughnut boxes pink? The answer could only come out of Southern California By David Pierson May 25, 2017 | 3:00 AM  So let's move on

It's worth noting that all the great cities of the world have major unmet challenges, some of which we share and some of which we don't

In Los Angeles, we always seem to be making it up as we go, too unfamiliar with the past to plan intelligently for the future, and seldom on the same page

"There are presently 88 fully autonomous municipalities in Los Angeles County alone, each with its own governing charter

In many instances, each are providing.services which are regionally redundant.and promoting

policies which are competitive rather than cooperative," said Donald Koelper, who offered a plea for a little more regional cooperation

"I love Los Angeles. I love its grit and its promise," said reader Yvette Roman Davis

"Los Angeles is, at this very moment, in the midst of existential crises, while simultaneously enjoying one of its greatest moments — a renaissance of extraordinary art and exceptional food, culture and opportunity, butting right up against tent cities and abject poverty

It's not for the faint of heart."  Brad Smith said air quality is better than it was, crime is lower, and "there is tremendous opportunity and quality of life compared to much of the rest of the U

S. and the world." Advertisement  What's not clear, Smith said, is "whether that success may overwhelm the carrying capacity of the physical geography, climate and economically sustainable infrastructure

"  Then he pushed the thought forward.  "In a rationally planned and governed society, reasonable growth can be accommodated while sustaining and improving quality of life for Angelenos; whether politics will allow such thoughtful work is an open question

"  That's a nice setup for me to offer a closing thought.  We've had too many school board elections with 10% voter turnout and mayoral elections with 20% turnout

Politics and governance are influenced more by a tiny fraction of the population — through lobbying and political donations — than by ordinary people

But L.A.'s absence of a more traditional structure, and of reliable political courage, can put more power in the hands of people and neighborhoods, and leaves plenty of room for social movements and political uprisings

So pay attention. Follow the news. Get involved.  Work for the L.A. you want or you'll get the one you deserve
