Waching daily Sep 10 2018

Hagar's was back for another video and

we're they coming to minecraft survival

island with their twitter Wazza and

finally we are here back on the island

but you might notice a slight difference

the only one difference so far and

that's the mini-map so yeah I've stored

the mini-map mud to make the let's play

a bit more exciting

no I'm just kidding we actually we added

a lot more than just a mini-map if I

open my inventory things don't look too

different you see some like thingies up

here but then if I were to press this oh

yeah we are in modded territory

we have booted up all the mods

three-light because all the mods they

originally killed at this computer yes

so today marks the beginning of an epic

miniseries mm-hmm so we're gonna be

playing Survival Island modded I'm not

sure whether we're gonna count this in

the main survival island arc but it's

gonna be a lot of episodes we'll figure

it out maybe I'll modify the thumbnail

but keep the episodes going yep you know

I think that'd be the best thing to go

about doing one thing I forgot

I don't know fireworks work in this

because this might be one point 12 in

that one point twelve point two so let's

find that out okay oh wait I don't have

the electron I'm a smart never mind

yeah so we lost our Ivan tortoise when

yeah the world transfer so I grabbed my

gear from the chest Anthony grabbed his

gear from the chest you know

so what to start out with yeah we're not

gonna do idea is my first time being in

modded possibilities except for scary

the possibilities are freakin endless so

do you want to UM I really want to see

if the Elektra and firework trick works

because we're gonna need to travel a lot

in this let's play so let's let's

quickly the only problem is if you look

at the storage all of the item frames

are gone

do you remember where Electress go yeah

they're well they're not one given alone

yep here yeah yes

so now let's get fireworks and see if

this works cuz that's gonna be important

luckily I've memorized most of the

locations for things right the fireworks

yes it works oh that's amazing

um the fireworks there in that hallway

there's not a lot of fireworks to go

around I'll give you half of what I took

okay okay so now that we have a method

to travel or a hound all we also should

have an enderchest and treat the boxes

and all that goodies so yeah let's fix

everything real quick I know our ender

chest huh oh yeah so the Gucci box and

everything got deleted yeah because

that's stored in the world file but I

did as MC edited the the island to the

world up here no that's where plants go

I think it's over here actually I don't

even have a silver pick ender chest got

it

yeah alright you go no no I have

shoulder boxes check the end of the

hallway there's one but anyway I think

to start off what we need to do is make

our lives a little bit easier let's have

some fun with Maude shall we hmm is that

a search bar that's a search bar oh

that's cool but uh what to do there's so

much to do

well one thing that I know we should do

oh man the island looks no different

right now what you want to just explore

the landscape for a second just like

travel just beyond the I yeah I don't

really know much about Mons let's see if

the Electra launcher works I kind of

doubt it but it'd be kind of funny if it

did

all right I liked your launch your time

to get some use I should get shot rice

and grounders nothing like that Oh

always ran to the freaking boat whoo I

found a slime Island Eddie told wood to

be whoa what is this right outside of

our island where are you what is this I

don't even know if this is marble bricks

like oh well oh you found one of those

things yeah it's my next time Iowa what

is it teleport to me you gonna see some

funny Oh where'd you go are you um where

are we I laid it out of slime island all

right let's head down to the mainland

over here okay

Oh see this thing yeah is that that's a

nose what is that noise what's gonna

mainland

that's a thaumcraft thing what is just

glowing or over here oh that's to go

whoa water crystals see dad Oh your

fingers tingle strangely as you handle

the crystal what does it mean maybe some

rest will inspire you am I gonna get a

nightmare now about water

yeah please I already have enough

nightmares look at all the mobs it's

pinger spots on it and this chickens you

hope okay hashtag of yous I was about to

make a bed but our it's still alright

let's keep exploring here's an

experience solidified what yeah oh

that's another slime island so what

shall we do mm-hmm I was like you know I

played modded before laying a long time

ago like by myself a life maybe like an

hour and I ran into like a tower of like

these big mobs and stuff and I died

instantly you're not liking this oh

battle town yeah well probably I don't

know we'll see if it's in this pack I

really want to find I want to find a

thaumcraft tainted biome get some blight

fall flashbacks oh here's something

you're really really useful actually

this is a village

modern villagers are the best looking at

the chests actually we have so much crap

at home we don't even need that we're

looking for more dumps Ricky's dad what

what the bear it's a polar bear this

vanilla Athenee oh I really ran into a

polar bear

yes you have I remember the episode it

was

a coffee maker crusher what them I think

I see your nametag yeah look at the map

oh there you are

wall this building yeah no I can go

upstairs

there's 11 ooh

what casein from actually oh oh it's one

of these oh this is useful whoo I'm

taking all this atomic Reconstructor the

block shattered as you tried to break it

Aquarius Wow

although that breaks wait did you pick

it up

I think I did no I don't think I did

solidified experience small storage

crate whoa what that's not small I'll

take all that black quartz tears why

can't we break these wow that's stupid

we actually needed that oh well we can

make another one it's not too bad let's

check out some of these other houses oh

I found the jam man's house Anthony come

over to the jam man's house damn man

Gucci you good yep alright let's get out

of here have we get in no oh you didn't

see that there's just a random rock just

in the ground feldspar all right you

want to go mining we're gonna need some

materials before we get crafting okay I

didn't mean that as a minecraft pun

although that was kind of funny

let's go underground then cuz there's

gonna be a whole lot of new ores all we

don't have freaking torches doll or

lanterns a thing in this yeah if you

just picked up a red lantern

no no I mean like a lantern ender

lantern that sounds interesting

well Lumina take one of those

Wow under lantern well unfortunately we

don't have access to that oh wait

the jams the jams night vision now let's

just um we might not be ready to go

mining yet actually maybe we should just

return home okay I figure out how to

craft some things actually we are gonna

need some copper though I mean I just

found some right there you know let's

just let's travel underground we're not

gonna be able to frickin see but at

least we can get a few materials like

aluminium dark and our I can't say I

can't see am i hitting me no hitting it

I'm gonna drink some Jam that's better

I could see it's only gonna last for

like 30 seconds if I can see and it's

gone my god where am I nah I'm just

doing star spawn yeah I don't think that

works nice alright by me I have an idea

of where the island might be it's not

over here

probably over by this ocean yeah it is I

found it we gucci alright so obviously

we are I got a few things but overall

we're kind of like we still gotta figure

this out

How To Rebound After Being Cut From a Hockey Team 🏒 - Duration: 4:57.

- Hey hockey players.

Coach Garner here from HockeyTraining.com.

In this video, I wanna talk to you

about how you can get over being cut from your hockey team.

Look, if you've watched my previous videos,

you've read my previous blogs,

you're gonna know that I'm not the biggest fan

of getting over something or going around something.

Instead, I like to encourage people to embrace

whatever pains and struggles that you're going through

because I've got a real philosophy in life.

I think pain and struggles are essential

to becoming the strongest and best version of yourself.

There is no better time

in your entire life

where you're gonna learn more about who you really are

than during the hardest times that you've ever gone through.

So, if you're watching this video right now

and you're hoping that I was gonna say something

that would just immediately allow you to get over

or around the pain that being cut from your team causes

in your mind and in your heart,

that's not something that I'm going to do.

And you know why?

Because that's not real life.

That's not real advice,

and if anybody gives you a one-liner

about getting over something like that,

it's just simply not true,

and it's not true because time is a factor.

Time has to be included in the equation.

Just like injuries take time to heal,

when we get cut from the team and it hurts us inside,

some people will try and act tough during this period,

but it hurts everybody.

When you walk up to the piece of paper,

the coaches announce who's on the team,

and you scroll through the whole list,

and you don't see your name on that list,

that stuff hurts.

And that's something that you can carry with you

for a long time afterwards.

But when you understand time,

and you respect time,

then you need to use that time appropriately

in order to build the foundation

for your next strongest self.

Time's gonna be a part of the equation,

so while time's over there doing its thing,

you've gotta stay busy. You've gotta stay focused.

You've gotta stay productive. You've gotta stay positive.

You've gotta keep busy and keep your mind in the right place

because you do love hockey.

This isn't something that's going to stop you.

You have to be productive,

and the whole problem with getting cut

from a team in so many cases

is the idea that you trained so hard to make the team.

You focused on the team for so long.

You had such a long off season.

You had a great training program. You were out there.

You were at hockey camps and tryouts

for days on end, morning and night,

and all of your focus is on this one thing,

and then it's gone.

So, two things can kind of happen right here.

Number one is that because you put all of your focus

into this thing, and then it's gone in the snap of a finger,

you think it's a waste of time.

Look, that is not a waste of time.

You did a lot of work during that time frame,

and who you're gonna be on the other side of it

is going to teach you a lot

that you need to learn about yourself

and teach you a lot about what you might need

to do next year in order to take things to the next level.

Did you do A, B, and C?

Or did you do A and B and then kind of half-ass C?

Look, you're gonna find out a lot about yourself

from the inside out, but also the outside in

and how you're setting up your training program

and your diet designs.

That's number one.

It is never a waste of time if you commit yourself

to something and then it's gone

because you're committed to yourself in the process.

That's what you should ultimately be thinking.

But number two is we have to start using our time

to become a better version of ourself.

You need to start working on the things

that nobody can take from you.

A coach can make you not make the team.

That might happen.

But you know what they can't take from you?

Your ability to train

and become a better hockey athlete in the gym.

Your ability to focus on your skills,

whether on the ice, or in the garage,

or with your dry land work off the ice, and anywhere.

They can't take that away from you.

You can train. You can eat.

You can work on your skills.

You can stay positive. You can stay busy.

All of these things, no body can take that away from you.

So it's never a waste of time,

and you need to use the time that you have now

while you still have energy, while you're still motivated,

while you're still fired up because you got cut

to do the things that are gonna lay the foundation

to be the next best person

who is going to make the team next year.

I know that a lot of you might be thinking,

"Man that sounds like a lotta time.

That sounds like a lotta effort.

Right now I'm really low.

I'm really down on myself,

and I will do anything right now in order

to get out of this place."

Well that sounds like rock bottom, my friend.

And rock bottom should be used

as a concrete foundation for you to build

an entire new person from.

Use those feelings towards motivation and positivity

and I promise time will take it's place to heal,

but after it does,

you're gonna be a way more self-aware

and way better performing hockey place than you ever were

because you got over being cut from the team

in the right way.

The Lesser-Known Symptoms of Depression - Duration: 5:26.

[♪ INTRO ]

Hopefully, by now we all know that depression is about more than sadness.

But even if your idea of depression also includes things like hopelessness or apathy, what about

irritability or anger?

Does depression make you think of overwhelming guilt?

What about memory loss?

Because those are all symptoms, too.

There's a lot we still don't understand about depression, especially when it comes

to what's happening on the cellular level.

But we know that when it comes to the experience of depression, the disorder often shows itself

in the form of unhealthy psychological processes.

It turns out that some of those thought processes — specifically, self-blame and rumination

— can lead to symptoms people might not realize are signs of depression.

And that's too bad, because the result is that we misunderstand those who are suffering

from it, sometimes including ourselves.

Freud, wrong as he was about a lot of things, pointed out that depression was different

from simple sadness because it was associated with guilt, and today psychologists consider

self-blame a key symptom of depression.

When something bad happens, depressed people tend to blame themselves, and see it as a

reflection of their self-worth as a whole.

An example researchers sometimes use is thinking that if you fail at a sports match, it means

you're a total failure.

What's weird is that this only applies to yourself — depressed people don't usually

assign blame to others the same way.

Turns out the unusual amount of guilt — and only applying it to yourself — might come

from two regions of the brain that don't activate together the way they should.

In a 2012 study, researchers scanned the brains of 25 people who'd previously had depression

and 22 people who didn't.

When the people who'd never been depressed read descriptions of themselves doing something

wrong, it activated both the part of their brain associated with guilt and the part that

deals with morality and what's socially appropriate.

In people who'd been depressed, that second part wasn't activated as strongly.

This was a small study, so we can't draw too many conclusions from it.

But based on the results, the authors suggested that people who are more prone to depression

don't get an accurate picture of what they did wrong, so they just feel guilty about

everything.

So that's one unhealthy thought pattern that can cause symptoms beyond plain old sadness

or apathy.

Another is rumination.

And it's a big one.

Rumination is, basically, brooding — usually unintentionally.

Part of problem-solving involves analyzing the factors surrounding the problem, and that

applies to negative emotional experiences, too.

But rumination takes that way too far.

It's getting stuck thinking about everything that led to and resulted from a negative experience,

and it's strongly linked to both depression and anxiety.

It can also explain some of the less straightforward signs of depression, like memory problems.

Of all the symptoms of depression, memory problems might seem the most surprising, because

we tend to classify depression as emotional, and memory as more a mechanical part of the

mind.

But this is just a false dichotomy, that's not how the brain works.

Depressive disorders often include problems with cognitive function: the ability to clearly

understand, process, and respond to information.

And researchers think that has a lot to do with rumination eating up all your brainpower.

You need cognitive resources to pay attention and remember things, and when people with

depression are using those resources to brood, they have trouble redirecting them toward

the task at hand.

They end up struggling with episodic memory, which is the recollection of specific events

that happened to you, and working memory, which is how you hold onto information that

you're currently using to process other information.

Those are both pretty important!

It becomes a vicious cycle, where the only way to break out of this pattern of rumination

is to redirect your mental resources toward something that might make you feel better.

But that's exactly what rumination makes it so much harder to do!

So people get stuck.

Rumination can also lead to another common symptom of depression: anger and irritability,

which appears in more than half of patients, although it's only used to diagnose the

disorder in kids and teens.

But it can be a sign of particularly severe depression.

At its core, rumination is a coping strategy people use to help regulate their emotions

— it's just not a very good one.

Instead of feeling better, when people brood on something that made them angry, they tend

to spend more time … angry.

We still have more to learn about how unhealthy thought patterns like self-blame and rumination

contribute to depression and its symptoms.

But as we study them, we're discovering that they can explain a lot.

And there's some good news here, too.

Self-blame may have to do with brain regions not activating the way they should, and rumination

may feel like getting stuck.

But researchers point out that unhealthy thought patterns like these are exactly what psychotherapy

is meant to help with.

Cognitive behavioral therapy, especially, is designed to identify the connections between

thought patterns and behaviors, and reshape those thought patterns in a healthier way.

So yes, depression is a complicated, difficult illness.

But there are therapies and treatments that can help.

And recognizing the different ways depression manifests itself is an important step toward

getting that help and doing this research.

Settlement Defense Front | Call of Duty - Duration: 5:32.

The golden age of planetary colonization expanded humanity's dominion across the whole of

the Solar System.

As the wealth and labor of the colonies was sent back to Earth, resentment grew across

the frontier and radicalized factions began demanding a complete secession from the United

Nations.

At the forefront of this movement was the Settlement Defense Front.

Initially created to enforce martial law on the off-world colonies, the Front's members

began to view themselves as the true inheritors of the Solar System.

Their ideology portrayed the governments of Earth as corrupt and feeble, parasites that

fed on the bounty of the Solar System.

As the most populous and powerful colony, Mars became the focal point of SetDef activity.

The organization enacted a planet-wide strike, halting shipments to Earth and provoking a

response from the United Nations Space Alliance.

Clashes between Earth's Solar Associated Treaty Organization and the Settlement Defense

Front ended in a massacre, and war between the two powers was officially declared.

The Secession Wars engulfed the entire star system and when an armistice was finally declared,

the Settlement Defense Front had won control of Mars and other scattered clusters and territories.

The Front legitimized its authority with the establishment of an authoritarian government

built on the tenets of ultranationalism, the regimentation of society and the forcible

suppression of opposition.

State sponsored propaganda networks exerted tight control over the spread of information

while all broadcasts from Earth or its allied colonies were blocked.

Even items that originated on Earth were considered contraband, part of the systematic approach

the Front took towards vilifying the rest of humanity.

Deeply militaristic, SetDef required that all its citizens be proficient with small

arms and every male was enlisted in a mandatory 15 years of military service beginning at

age 12.

It's armed forces consisted of an army, airforce and navy, with the SetDef fleet in

particular the principal focus of its national strategy.

The Navy of the Settlement Defense front had roughly 50 jump-capable warships at its disposal.

These were split across 8 fleets stationed at critical points within the Solar System.

The majority of these vessels were classified as destroyers, tasked with protecting far

larger carriers that housed squadrons of combat aircraft.

The flagship of the Settlement Defense Front, and the largest warship ever built by humanity,

was the SWSC-1, christened the Olympus Mons.

The ship served as the main hub for the Settlement Defense Front, and became the defacto mobile

capital of the entire nation.

For the majority of its service, the Olympus Mons was commanded by Admiral Salen Kotch,

a ruthless proponent of SetDefs ideals, who had long advocated for a second war against

the Earth and the United Nations.

Salen Kotch eventually got his wish and during Fleet Week, when the Solar Associated Treaty

Organization assembled its most powerful warships over Geneva in a display of force, SetDef

launched their surprise attack.

Front sleeper-cell agents successfully hijacked Earth's planetary defense system and destroyed

the majority of SATO's fleet in moments.

Combined with an attack spearheaded by Olympus Mons, the United Nations Space Alliance was

reduced to just two ships, the Retribution and the Tigris.

Coordinated strikes occurred elsewhere in the Solar System, with the Settlement Defense

Front seizing critical sites on Luna, Europa, and Mercury.

Despite their near total success, the SetDef plans for the complete invasion of Earth were

thwarted by SATOs two remaining warships, which managed to conduct a brilliant guerrilla

campaign, striking at targets of opportunity across the Solar System.

This was not enough to prevent a second attack on Geneva, during which the Olympus Mons successfully

destroyed the headquarters of the Solar Associated Treaty Organization.

During the fighting however, Olympus Mons was boarded by SATO marines.

Admiral Kotch was killed and his flagship commandeered.

The warship was diverted back to Mars, and together with the Retribution, crashed on

its surface.

In a final desperate battle, the Settlement Defense Front's primary shipyard over Mars

was destroyed, crippling its ability to continue the war and giving Earth the time it needed

to rebuild its forces.

Broken beyond repair, the Settlement Defense Front was forced to capitulate, reduced to

a footnote in the annals of human history.

Companion Jackie - Cyberpunk 2077 Gamplay Review - Duration: 6:13.

Greetings Earthlings! Welcome to the MadQueen show!

I am your host the MadQueen

On today's menu, we have a new Cyberpunk 2077 video for you, and today we're going

to continue reviewing every insignificant detail of the gameplay that was recently revealed

by CD Projekt RED

Today's subject: the companion Jackie

A lot of people asked me about my opinion on this character, since you know that I am

a mix of Spanish, British and German, which gives a weird mix to my English accent, but

my first language is Spanish, being English the third, so being Spanish my first language

and speaking more than one language, is only logical that you ask that question

There are a lot of people that don't seem to be happy with the dialogue lines of this

character and find it to be unrealistic and very cliché, as well as very annoying, and

I must say I agree and disagree at the same time

And here's why

I won't deny that the first time I head the companion of the game spoke Spanish, before

seeing the demo myself, my first thought was "Ay Dios" because I know how characters

that speak Spanish are treated in video games, no matter if we're talking about American

Spanish or European Spanish, the first thing that comes to my head when I hear this is

Resident Evil 4, that is set in Galicia, a region in the north west of Spain, where everybody

looks like they come from a postcard sent in the early 20th century and speak Mexican,

according to a game director that didn't even bother to Google Spain

Amusing

Almost as amusing as: how bilingual characters are usually treated because they're usually

written by someone who has no idea

how this thing of fluently speaking more than one language works

And the trick is actually simple: swears always come out naturally in your first language

So when I saw Jackie for the first time, I couldn't help but feel identified

because he does a lot of things that I do myself

Although in this particular scene, except in American Spanish is different

than in European Spanish, in European Spanish would be either

"Tu puta madre" if he's pissed that they got attacked or

"De puta madre" if he's happy to be able to shoot someone, only "puta madre"

doesn't apply in this context, because it means a different thing but, again, this is

in European Spanish

CUBE The new pheromone perfume

by Fashion&Fusion

So, when you're talking a language that is not your first language,

unless you're making an effort to avoid switch languages,

you go switching all the time

You switch for the words that come naturally in your first language, as I said before,

insults and swears mostly

and other words that naturally flow in your first language, you put them

in the middle of a sentence, so you can easily say half sentence in English, then a couple

of words in Spanish, and then continue the sentence in English, and that's applicable

to everybody I know that is bilingual, which is almost everybody in my environment, and

even more if the person you're talking to also speaks both languages, because then it

turns into a switching party

The thing is that we are used to a prototypical way of portraying bilingual characters in

films or games, and Jackie doesn't act like that, I think that this is one of the main

reasons why people find him so weird when he talks

Also, this way of talking is only applicable if Spanish is his first language, if his first

language was English, even having Spanish heritage, this way of talking would make from

not that much sense to no sense at all

So, when people say that Jackie is cliché I can't help but disagree, I mean, I talk

like that, if you watch me on videos you obviously don't hear me doing that because I make

an effort to say everything in English except when I consciously want to say things in Spanish,

but on Twitch is easier to see, because when I get surprised Spanish flows more naturally,

especially when you're hit by a bullet you weren't expecting then "tu puta madre"

just flows out naturally

Even though I do disagree with people that consider this character is cliché, I can't

help but agree that it can be tiring and annoying, especially if you don't talk both languages

yourself, because then for you it will sound unnatural

And also because I've been told several times, like "Can you please decide on what

fucking language you want to speak?"

And I've also seen many funny anecdotes myself with switching languages with no apparent

reason, especially with my mother, who is half British, half German and speaks 5 languages,

so I've been hearing this way of talking and of switching languages all my life, in

fact with more than 2 languages, and that's why I consider it realistic and accurate

But, I understand, that it can be tiring

What I did miss in the dialogues, though, is more Cyberpunk universe slang, but this

is a subject for another day

Well, folks, thanks for watching, don't forget to take a look at our Cyberpunk 2077

Sales Funnel Not Making Money? This is Why....... - Duration: 5:16.

(thuds)

- All right, welcome back,

now we are moving on to the last step

in your initial funnel education.

And this is one of the most important,

yet one that people understand the least.

And it makes me laugh because,

if you look at traditional selling a product or a service,

like people know this,

it's how do you sell the product or service, right?

We call this online, inside of our phones,

we call it copywriting.

It's the words on the page, the headlines,

the words in the video, the words on the webinar,

like all those things, it's the words.

And it's funny because in traditional business,

let's say you are starting a vacuum company,

going door-to-door selling vacuums, right?

If you come to the door and you knock on the door,

and you're like, hey, I got a vacuum, it's 800 bucks.

Nobody's gonna give you money for that, right?

Yet for some reason, in our funnels, that's what we do.

We have a picture of the thing,

and we have the price, and an order button,

and that is not how things are sold, right?

If you want to make a lot of money

selling vacuum cleaners door-to-door,

you hire a really good salesperson

to go in and sell the product, right?

And good salespeople can make a lot of money.

And so, inside of our funnels, right,

we have this value ladder we're taking people through.

We have the value at each step.

We have the offer at each step,

but the last piece is we have to sell those things.

We have to actually sell them.

Just because you have a picture of a vacuum cleaner

with an order button, nobody's gonna buy it,

unless you actually sell that thing.

And that's when the disconnects for some reason,

people know offline, but they forget when they come online.

A couple things I recommend,

number one is if you haven't read the book Expert Secrets,

the reason why I wrote this book was because

a lot of people, after they read the DotCom Secrets book,

they understood, like, funnel structure.

Like, okay, here's page one and page two,

and here's the right order and those kind of things.

And I watched as the Click Funnels community

started building amazing funnels,

but so many people would drive traffic into those funnels,

and they never made any money.

And they come back to me like,

Russell, why is this not working?

You said funnels are the greatest things in the world.

And I look at their pages, and literally it's like,

glanny pages, the picture of an e-Cover with an opt-in box

I'm like, what's that?

They're like, when they give me the email, they get that.

I'm like, you, like, I wouldn't know that.

Like, how'd they do?

Or they have, again, they'd have their product,

with a picture of their product

and a $300 order button.

It's like, you need to sell the products.

And so, the reason why I wrote this book

was to help people understand how do you sell things,

how do you position your offer,

how do you make an irresistible offer,

like, what are the words and the phrases,

and how do you tell the stories

in a way to sell your product?

And so, I recommend getting this book,

if nothing else, to understand, like,

how to put all the words on the pages the right way.

Okay?

Inside this Expert Secrets book,

some people think this is only,

it's only for, if you wanna be selling information products,

but the concepts in here

are true for whatever it is your selling.

Understanding how to tell a story

in a way that sells your product or your service.

The best salespeople, online and offline,

are people that are really good at telling stories.

And this book walks you through how we tell stories,

the story structure, all those kind of things.

So if you read this, it'll help you understand

how to actually present your product in the right way

without having to learn all the techy, copywriting stuff

that's, honesty, it's really hard, it's kind of confusing,

and to be completely honest, it's kind of boring.

The Expert Secrets book will make this exciting

and live for you,

show you how to tell your story

in a way that gets people excited

about buying your vacuum cleaner,

or your coaching, or your consulting, or your supplements,

or whatever it is that you are selling.

So that'd be number one.

Get this book and study the sections

on how to tell your stories.

Number two, Jim Edwards is one of our partners

here at Click Funnels.

He went through the DotCom Seekers book

and took all the sales scripts in here.

He went through the Expert Secrets book

and took all the sales scripts

and storytelling scripts inside of here,

and we created a separate company

and created a software program called Funnel Scripts.

What Funnel Scripts is is a really cool tool,

where you're like, hey, I need a headline for my page.

You may not know what to do or like what to put in,

so you answer four or five questions, you click a button,

and it's going to pop out, like,

150 of the best headlines in the world,

wrapped around your product, and your service.

If you're like, I need a video, but I don't know what to do,

you fill a couple of pieces, you click a button,

and boom, it gives you an entire video script.

It does all of the scripts and the copywriting

for all your pages are done in there.

And, it has helped so many people save so much time

and have so much success.

It is an external product here,

you don't have to have it to be successful,

but I recommend looking through it and getting a copy

'cause it'll make your job so much easier.

I've seen people, who in the past,

would spend four or five weeks

trying to write all the copy in their funnels.

Get that process done in like an hour,

hour and a half sometimes.

And it's very simple, and it's very easy.

So that is a shortcut

that'll dramatically speed up your success.

But the copy is probably the most important part

of the funnels.

And you're selling everywhere, you start at the ad, right?

Someone sees the ad, they're like,

"What's the copy on that, what are the words,

"what are things that get people to click on the ad?"

Then they come to the first page of the funnel.

What are the words that get them to want this offer,

so you can provide value to 'em?

Then they opt-in or whatever,

they go to the next page, it's like,

hey, what are the words that make them want this offer,

so they get value, so they want the next thing from you,

and that's the last piece.

So,

it's so vitally important,

I want you guys to understand,

copywriting is the key to make these funnels tick.

It sort of lights them on fire,

it gets people to take action

when they come into your process.

And, you know, we have a philosophy, a motto,

whatever you want to call it, here inside of ClickFunnels,

we talk about it with our customers all of the time,

you probably here me talk about it,

but it's the concept of you're just one funnel away, right?

And, the key to making that funnel hit is this,

it's all the pieces we just went through.

It's understanding the value ladder,

creating offers, having the copy.

Like, all those pieces, those are the keys.

And one funnel, again, you hit one funnel,

and it'll change everything for you.

And so, I want you guys to understand that.

With that said, I hope you enjoyed this training

and congratulations, we'll give you your badge now

and now it's time to get your funnels profitable

and making you some money.

Vulcan Circle Optics, FXD WASP Grip, Guns in Space? - TGC News! - Duration: 12:37.

This week on TGC News, A place to RENT optics, a foregrip for people that LOVE foregrips,

and some more rapid fire news!

Welcome back to another episode of TGC News, gun news you actually care about, my name

is Jon Patton.

If you're watching this and you aren't subscribed, make sure you hit that subscribe button.

Now, how about some news?

I think one of the most common frustrations in the gun industry is the prices of certain

accessories.

"Why is that so expensive?" is a phrase that gets tossed around a lot, whether its a suppressor

or even..

An optic.

You spend several hundred or maybe several thousand on a rifle and then you have spend

ANOTHER big chunk on an optic.

That can suck and that is exactly why the more affordable brands have had such massive

success in recent years.

Not only that but let's say you spent a bunch of money on an optic and you end up not liking

it, youll never get your money back out of it if you sell it.

Well those issues of affordability and selection are quite possibly covered by a new company

called Vulcan Circle.

The basic premise of this company is that you pay a monthly fee and you get to rent

their optics.

Sounds like a really neat idea if you ask me.

Let's break down how it works.

There are 3 levels at which you can join.

The Legionary, which is priced at $45 bucks per month for a 6 month period, gets you access

to the likes of the Trijicon ACOG, Aimpoint T2, Trijicon RMR and Vortex PST gen 2, and

at that price point you get to select 2 different optics to keep for 3 months each for a total

of a 6 month term.

The Centurion, priced at 90 a month, is the next step up at 90 bucks a month and you start

getting into fancier stuff like Nightforce NXS and Elcan Spectre.

And the top level is called the Tribune, priced at 180 per month, and that gets you access

to all the top stuff like Kahles and Swarovski.

What seems a little weird is that it doesn't seem that if you lock it at the top, you get

access to all the lower tier items, I could be wrong but their website didn't seem to

indicate that.

So once you decide what tier you want, you have to apply by giving them some basic info

about yourself, and then selecting your plan.

Really doesn't seem too complicated.

They also have a rewards program so you can get some extra gear if you use the service

enough.

Honestly, this seems like a really cool idea for a lot of people.

If you spend $270 at the lowest tier or $1080 at the top tier you could play with a couple

different optics that are well above that in pricing.

The only issue is that you don't get to keep them so you have to decide whether or not

that monthly fee is justifiable for your needs.

What do you guys think of a service like this?

Is this the kind of thing you've been waiting for so you can play with all the cool kid

optics OR is the price just WAY too much for what you want?

Sound off in the comments and let's hear your thoughts.

Up next this week we have a new AR15 accessory

that promises to be the be-all end-all of foregrips.

Let's all pause for a collective eye roll.

It seems like the industry has been chasing the dragon when it comes to fore grips.

There are a lot of copies and borrowed concepts across the board.

Some tiny and minimalist, like the zero bravo, or then you have the more complex ones like

the Fist grip from Ryker.

And then you have simple ones like my favorite, the GripStop or even the classic AFG from

Magpul.

There is certainly no lack of options.

But there is a new one on board.

Its called the WASP and its made by a company called FXD or Force Multiplied by Design.

Wasp actually stands for Weapons Ambidextrous Stabilization Platform.

Their promo video does a good job of churching it up but in reality its an angled grip with

an adjustable rest for your index finger and optional gas pedals for your thumb on the

sides.

It also has a chamber on the back for pressure pads so you can activate your electronics.

The idea doesn't seem BAD but I'm not sure what problems its actually solving.

I'm not going to argue about body mechanics, but I will say that the grip position they

are claiming is so magical for controlling the gun is about a quarter of a wrist turn

away from just grabbing the damn rail.

It's like here here here here it's all the same cmon!

Maybe I'm way off base and one of you firearms instructors out there can correct me but this

seems like a bit of a solution looking for a problem.

Well that and the fact that it appears to be a rip off of the Fab Defense PTK.

And the final, not going to buy that, for me at least is the price, the MSRP on this

is 108 bucks.

With all the options on the market, most well under 100 bucks, there is just no reason to

spend that much.

Maybe I'm wrong, do you guys think those adjustable gas pedals or index finger rests are worth

that much money?

It's time again for some rapid fire news, starting with a little Brownells action.

They recently announced that they were going to be on the receiving end of some authentic

HK416 and 417 parts kits which apparently are super rare here in the states.

They include everything except a lower receiver, barrel and bolt.

They went on sale on August 31st with super limited quantities and as of right now, the

only thing left is 417 kits and they are not cheap, just shy of 3500 bucks for an incomplete

rifle.

Boys and girls, if you are an HK fanboy or military clone connoisseur this is a cool

thing, if you are not, then holy crap is that expensive haha.

Next up, Polymer 80 has announced a new hybrid option for those that like a full size slide

and a compact grip.

We've seen a lot of people that are into this concept lately and this just further reinforces

it.

The new frame will be called the PF940CL.

They will be offered as a clean slate for stippling or pre textured and will fit any

of the mid size cartridges like 9 40 and 357 sig.

They are expected to start shipping within the next month or two and I'm estimating the

pricing will fall around 160 bucks just like their other options.

And Rounding us out is a new AR tool from Midwest Industries.

It's called the Upper Receiver Rod and it seems like direct competitor for the Geissele

Reaction Rod.

This one features 4 flats on the rear, a block on the top to fit into the gas tube channel

and of course lugs on the front to slide into the barrel extension.

The price on that starts at 95 bucks.

It's time for more Friendly Fire, the segment where I answer your questions from all over

social media.

Because you guys BLEW up our instagram last week, I'll be answering more of your questions

from there.

Yes, my understanding is that is basically a giant 300 blackout for the AR10/308 based

platforms.

I personally love the idea of big ol 338 bullet shooting subsonic but we will have to wait

and see how it performs.

Side note, Kit Badger on YouTube has a video explaining everything and he is one of the

few guys to has actually seen it in person.

I'll link that below.

There are TONS of options out there.

I'm a believer that you shouldn't really have to change your wardrobe to carry, just slightly

adjust things.

Get yourself a good gun belt.

My top 2 choices are the Blue Alpha Gear Hybrid or the Savoy Leather Double Thick, and when

it comes to holsters, there are so many it's unreal.

For a long time I was carrying a Viper Holsters Hybrid, but since I switched to carrying the

VP9 I'm currently testing an IWB holster from Full Metal Beard Company.

The reality is you will likely go through a few holsters before you find the perfect

one for you.

And our question of the week and the winner of a tactical walls hat and America Grip tool kit

I suspect it would shoot and cycle just fine.

If I'm not mistaken, gun powder does not need outside oxygen to burn.

However, the gun may actually overrun itself which could cause a malfunction because there

is no gravity BUT being that is impossible for me to test currently, it'll just be a

guess haha.

Austin, Send me a message to get your prizes!

Drop your answer in the comments and hey, if you want to ask a friendly fire question,

send it to me on any of our social media outlets!

That is it for this week's show.

Guys if you disliked this video, hit that button, if you liked it, hit like, get subscribed

and consider supporting us via the links in the video description below.

We have a new amazon affiliate store as well as a link to purchase cool shirts just like

this one and of course links to find us all over your favorite social media platforms!

Posters That Ruined The Full Movie - Duration: 4:28.

Posters are often the first way to get moviegoers excited for the next big release.

The trick for a studio's marketing team is to tease something cool about their upcoming

movies without giving away too much.

Considering that a poster is just one picture, you would think that wouldn't be too difficult.

But sometimes designers get a little too excited and present an image that somehow manages

to reveal way too much.

Maybe they thought audiences wouldn't notice or wouldn't care, but they can't deny that

these posters ruined the entire movie.

In case the title of this video didn't tip you off, warning, massive movie spoilers ahead.

Prometheus

There's a lot about Prometheus that audiences might find confusing, and that's beyond Michael

Fassbender's unnerving portrayal of an android named David.

Character motivations are murky, the setting is sometimes obscure, and the whole thing

is supposed to be a prequel to Alien.

There are plenty of quiet moments, which are not common in a modern sci-fi movie, but eventually

Prometheus gets around to what we all go to the movies to see: big-budget, CGI explosions.

The film's action peaks when two gleaming, futuristic spaceships crash into each other

while humans watch from below.

You might recognize this climactic, eye-popping scene from the poster, as the explosion is

the key image.

Split

M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable stars Bruce Willis as a Philadelphia man named David Dunn

who comes to realize that he's nearly invincible, while crossing paths with his villainous opposite,

the fragile-boned Elijah Price, a.k.a. Mr. Glass.

When it was released in 2000, Willis announced that the film was part of a planned trilogy.

But a sequel never materialized... until it did, when nobody was looking.

In 2017, Shyamalan had his biggest hit in years with the psychological thriller Split,

starring James McAvoy as a disturbed man with 24 separate personalities who kidnaps a trio

of teenage girls.

At the end, he escapes, and viewers learn more details about the man on the loose via

a news report playing on a TV in a diner.

"And they gave him a funny name, too.

What was it?"

"Mr. Glass."

Split was set in the same universe as Unbreakable all along.

Who knew?

Fans who remembered both posters, that's who.

The two images share a virtually identical breaking glass pattern.

The average moviegoer might have missed it, but for Shyamalan diehards, the Split poster

gave away its big reveal ahead of time.

Avengers: Infinity War

In the box office behemoth Avengers: Infinity War, intergalactic villain Thanos completes

his savage quest for the Infinity Stones.

He uses them to instantaneously wipe out half of all life in the universe, including many

of the superheroes assembled by the Avengers to stop him.

For a studio to kill off so many beloved money-makers always comes as something of a surprise, even

if most of them will presumably come back to life in the sequel.

But if you were a Japanese-fluent fan who saw the Japanese poster, you had those sacrifices

spoiled by the tagline, which translates to "Avengers, totally annihilated."

"I don't wanna go.

I don't wanna go, sir, please.

Please, I don't wanna go.

I don't wanna go."

Deadpool 2

Both the content and marketing of the Deadpool films are rife with sarcasm, self-awareness,

and self-deprecation.

That silliness was on full display in the Deadpool 2 poster, which looks like a '60s

Italian spy movie crossed with Smokey and the Bandit.

Such a piece of promotional art would have to include the funniest, smarmiest, and most

sarcastic tagline possible.

While the Deadpool team could have just spoiled their own movie, they instead decided to reveal

the ending of another movie set in Fox's X-Men universe.

Logan, which was released a year before Deadpool 2, marked the last time Hugh Jackman would

lead a movie as the Wolverine.

That fact was made quite clear by the Deadpool 2 poster, which featured the tagline "From

the studio that killed Wolverine."

Carrie

The 1976 teen horror classic Carrie is about a teenage girl kept sheltered away from the

world by her domineering and deeply troubled mother.

Why?

Because Carrie can do powerful things with her telekinetic mind.

Insecure and socially awkward, she's bullied by the other kids at school, and it all comes

to a head at the prom.

Mean girl Norma gets Carrie elected prom queen as a joke.

Carrie thinks she's finally won over her horrible classmates, until they soak her with a bucket

of pig's blood.

That sets off Carrie, who uses the full extent of her mental powers to kill pretty much everyone

present.

It's the climax of the film, and it's revealed on the poster: happy, prom queen Carrie juxtaposed

next to angry, blood-drenched Carrie.
