Waching daily Sep 11 2018

Hi guys! My name is Cameron Phillips and today I'm guest vlogging for EF.

I'm from San Francisco, California, and I'm here to give you an insider's tour of San Francisco.

We're going to visit four different neighborhoods and show you an iconic place to eat,

something to do, and why I like them and what makes them special.

It's going to be an amazing day. Welcome to San Francisco.

We'll also show you where the EF school is located.

This is Mission Dolores Park.

This is a really amazing place to hang out if you're in the Mission District.

On the weekends, if it's a nice day, you'll find thousands of people all over the park having picnics.

It's honestly such a great place. I've been here several times.

What I really love about Mission Dolores Park is that you can see the incredible vista

of San Francisco, and across to the open hills, way across the Bay.

It's such a great place to hang out. If you're in this area, I definitely recommend it.

We're on our way to Tartine Bakery, which is in the Mission District.

It's an iconic feature of San Francisco. They have incredible pastries and bread.

It's a great place to go if you're going to have a picnic in the park.

It's definitely a must-stop in the Mission District.

Let's unbox the pastry.

Mmmm. So good! I got the orange zest.

After you've had your iconic pastry from Tartine, you've got head down to the Bi-Rite Market

to get the supplies for your picnic in the park.

So, that is the Mission District, a short and sweet roundabout tour.

I also definitely recommend the restaurant, El Techo.

It's a great, fun restaurant with a nice rooftop to enjoy a skyline view.

Up next, we're off to Fisherman's Wharf, an iconic staple of San Francisco

that I'm sure you've heard of and recognize. I'm going to show you a great place to eat,

and what makes it special besides just the tourist aspect.

Let's just drive on over there and see what we find at Fisherman's Wharf.

We've made it to the famous Fisherman's Wharf, which might seem very touristy.

Honestly, it is. You'll find every kind of tourist shop you want.

So, if you're looking for souvenirs, this is the place to come.

But on top of that, Fisherman's Wharf actually is the place where they do bring in fresh seafood.

So, if you're into seafood, this is a great place to come.

We're going to try some Dungeness crab, which is the San Francisco specialty,

and have a little lunch here in Fisherman's Wharf. Let's go!

Fisherman's Wharf was as iconic as always.

We had an amazing clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl,

the most iconic San Francisco staple from Boudin Bakery,

which is a must-stop if you're in the Fisherman's Wharf area.

Near Fisherman's Wharf is the EF School's location.

It's just around the corner with super convenient access to all the best features of the city.

Now we're off to North Beach, which is the Italian district of San Francisco.

It's a beautiful little neighborhood full of amazing pizzerias, gelaterias,

and everything else Italian that you can imagine. There's such a great community and culture there.

It's a great place to just hang out, walk around, and explore different restaurants.

If you're ever in North Beach, there is something that you have to go see,

and that something is called Lombard Street,

which happens to be the world's most crooked street.

My travel partner Danny does not know about Lombard Street,

and I think he's about to be shook. Okay, are you ready?

Oh my gosh. This street is literally a zigzag.

It is the world's most crooked street and it has the most amazing view.

This street is so absurd.

It's hard to believe that this is actually a real street, but it's definitely a must-see.

Luckily there aren't that many tourists right now.

The Italian Homemade Company is an amazing restaurant.

Also, North Beach has a great walkability to it.

You can walk around and have a picnic in the park again.

There are so many great, outdoor, nice-weather activities that you can do in San Francisco.

North Beach has a European flare. You can walk around.

There are coffee shops, gelato shops, and everything you need right all in one place.

Now we've made it to our final neighborhood, the Embarcadero,

and we're going to specifically look at the Ferry Building,

which is an iconic landmark of San Francisco, right at the end of Market 3; you can't miss it.

Inside, there is a wide variety of restaurants, shops, coffee and pastry shops ….

We're going to look at two specific places today: Blue Bottle Coffee and Miette Patisserie,

So you can go and get nice pastries, croissants, and everything else you need there.

It's honestly a great place. I love the Ferry Building.

You can find anything you need in there.

Let's go for a walk along the water.

The sun has come out today and it's such a beautiful day here.

I hope you guys enjoyed coming along today on the insider's guide to San Francisco.

We saw some iconic destinations in this city. I hope it inspired your travels around the city.

Hey! It's so nice that you're watching this new video!

I finally have the new LOL surprise underwraps!

And i'm so curious, so we're going to open it right now!

I ordered them online through the website www.intertoys.nl

Because that was the only online shop where I could buy them!

So if you're interested in buying these aswell, you can find them online on Intertoys!

I also looked in the stores but i couldn't find theme there, so only online!

So let's begin with the first one.

There are 15 surprises in each capsule

And i think many of you already saw this in other youtube videos

But anyway, there's a spy glass inside,

for the secret codes.

a list with secret codes to find all the hidden surprises

That's a new thing for LOL surprise and super fun!

You will get a drinking cup,

sunglasses, shoes,

a silicon doll or

actually a disguise

where u can find the doll inside

And you can use the disguise as an outfit

And ofcourse you will find the original outfit aswell.

I'm so curious which doll is inside!

Let's hope for an golden doll

or a special one because i don't have one yet!

first surprise is the spy glass.

let's see what secret messages we can find.

I can see the spy glass sign,

i see some round things

Ok lets open up the next layer

Ok second surprise

And this is the clue for the disguise

so not for the actual doll, but for the disguise

And what do i see....

I see an @ sign, ZZZ from sleeping

and a party hat

and the clue is

'At a slumber party'

Ok!

Wow! This is the list with codes that we need

Ok let's go guys!

Here's what's inside, this is the disguise

And you can use that as an outfit aswell

Yessss! Look one door opened!

Ok!

What's inside.....I think i'm going to open all the codes first!

A crown and a diamond, no

Yes! got it right the first time!

Ok so now we found the three blind bags

And now it's time to set the doll free

No nothing

Peace sign and a heart

Yes! It's open

Wow

I really like this idea or the whole concept

Another blind bag

and ofcourse the disguise

and the checklist

I'm saving this and open this later

First all the blind bags

Wow! lovely white boots with a pink stripe

Ok a pink milk drinking cup

with a white lit on top

and this is the outfit

Wow! it's so cute

And we have pink sunglasses

Now it's time to unbox the disguise

She has blond hair

There we go! First the head

Ahw that's a cute one!

Wow it's such a cutie pie!

taking her shoes of..

Oops, also her head haha

Look how cute this one is!

I think she will colour change

We will find out later

We have the girl from the athletic club

Drag racer, wow! And she changes colour!

Super cute!

There are all the dolls you can collect right now

it's series 4 wave 4.1

And the rest of the dolls will come asap

So i dressed her with her outfit

What a lovely one!

Later we will check the water powers from both of the dolls

Next one!

Clue number one

I see an @,

an egyptian cross and pyramids

its says 'At the egyptian pyramids'

And ofcourse the list with codes

Ohh that's cute, we have a pharaoh disguise

Ok very curious now!

Code one, i think they are all the same like the other list

No.. peace sign

and a heart

Yes!

blind bag number one

Flame and

a snowstar

no

candy and fruit

No

Lucky clover

and a devil

Yes!

Ok let's go to the one underneath

No

Wow

And two other blind bags

The shoes,

red with black thick soles

Wow what a nice outfit

Leopard print,

and a skirt red and black

Ah how cute!

A small backpack with angelwings

Black and white drinking cup

And a white pacifier

I'm so curious which doll is inside

Are you guys curious aswell??

I'm opening the back now and we have another blond girl

Ahw brown eyes

Outfit is going to be taken off

So cute cute cute

We have a girl from the glam club

And her name is 'As if baby'

And there she is

Look at her cute outfit!

And ofcourse her super cute backpack

Ok i have a drinking glass with cold water

I have coloured ice cubes

because i think it's easier to use

And we will find out what's going to happen

Yes she changes her hair colour!

And i can also see..

her gloves has changed into gray

And also the top of her body

Wow!

And now she has some colour spots on her hair because of my warm hands

Ok let's see if she colour changes in water

I don't think she's colour changing

Because I already saw it on the checklist

Unfortunately nothing

So we've unboxed these dolls today

From the new series LOL Under wraps

I'm so happy with these new dolls

But ofcourse I want the rest of the dolls aswel!

Ok well i'm going to buy some new ones very soon!

This Konglish word became an English word over time. Proud of it! - Duration: 3:26.

Hello. It's Jinger.

You might have noticed

I changed the background a few videos back.

I shoot videos in the living room and the bedroom.

I need lights in the bedroom.

Sorry for the messy room. Lol

I went to Walmart to buy a power strip.

Then I realized we have a Konglish word for that.

I thought I should make a video about it.

So, here you are.

Jinger English

We call a power strip a multitap.

I grabbed it

and was going to the checkout counter

I happened to see pretty clothes.

I wanted to try them on.

I was looking for my size

but there was only one size.

We call it free size.

One size fits all in English.

One size covers every size.

But Korea and America have a very different idea of

one size fits all

Free size clothes in Korea are way too small.

I hated it

when I shopped clothes on the internet.

They were so pretty but too tight!!!

I am not even big!

I rarely see one size fits all clothing in America.

Something like hats that you don't need to worry about

sizes so much.

There are so many different shapes.

Korean free size is ridiculous!

C.. calm down.

Yes, I do need to calm down.

I was on the way to the checkout counter.

If I want to pay with a card

I need to swipe and sign my name.

In Korea, we say 'do sign'.

But sign (noun) in English means

something like neon sign, signal.

Signature is the correct noun.

Autograph for famous people.

But when you use sign as a verb

it means sign a name.

sign your signature

sign your name

When it's a noun, it can be a Konglish

but not when it's a verb.

So, please remember the different between

sign as a verb and a noun.

Oh, I just remembered this.

There is a Korean word that became an English word.

What?

It's Mukbang.

Munch munch

I am using an app to make foreign friends.

I said "I am a YouTuber".

and I was asked if I had done Mukbang videos.

mukbang

This is how you spell.

All my Mukbang videos

got horrible views.

So I'm not doing it.

More views = money

A lot of people say Matcha

instead of green tea nowadays.

Matcha is Japanese.

If enough native speakers use it

it becomes an English word.

So let's spread Korean words

to native speakers!

I will try too.

My name is Jinger.

Top 50 Comics with First Appearances! - Duration: 8:44.

Hey gang!

Here's my Top 50 comics, NUMBER 50 (no, I'm not gonna do that for the entire list.)

X-Force 2, the second appearance of Deadpool.

And the first appearance of Kane, who never really caught on.

Maybe his detachable flying hand really wasn't as cool as I thought it was when I was eleven.

Swamp Thing 37, the first John Constantine who later starred in Hellblazer.

I've always hated the title Hellblazer cuz it's a constant reminder that they didn't

have the rights to use the title Hellraiser cuz of the Clive Barker movie.

First issue!

The all-new, all exciting Black Panther.

In other words, this isn't part of the glut of reprints we fill the stands with, it's

all-new!

Seriously!

The Incredible Hulk 330, the first Marvel Art from Todd McFarlane.

And you knew Todd wasn't quite ready for the big leagues yet, cuz almost every element

in this drawing leads to Doc Samson's crotch.

Detective 475, the first appearance of the deadly Joker fish.

So much cooler than Beppo the Super-Monkey.

Shazam number 1! Superman doesn't appear in this issue, and he's sort of acting as a Price

is Right Barker girl for this Bill Batson transformation scene.

Lady Rawhide 3 with a nice Adam Hughes cover.

And should someone say, 'That's Sexist' I'd reply with, Yes, it is the sexiest.

Green Arrow 1 of 4, his first solo title series, but I'm bettin' he wishes Green Lantern was

floating nearby to put up a protective green bubble right about now.

Wonder Woman number 7, the first appearance of the lady who becomes the modern Cheetah.

I forget her name.

New Mutants 86, with a one-panel, non-story cameo of Cable.

And it's funny cuz Todd McFarlane inked this Rob Liefeld cover, and by their signatures,

Todd writes 'After Ditko'...Possible because Rob wasn't going to credit Ditko for the drawing

he swiped from him.

Batman 567, the first Cassandra Cain.

Don't expect any Spidey-style zingers from this character in a movie.

She's mute.

Marvel Super-Heroes Winter Special, the first Squirrel Girl.

And I wish Erik Larson wouldn't pose Namor that way, he just looks nude.

Grendel number 3, which I found out from Kyle Rowe has a teeny print run.

I just grabbed it for a quarter cuz I thought it looked cool.

Detective 476, with a neat-o Jokerized Batman.

Before there was Venomization, there was Jokerization.

A beat copy of X-Men 94, but hey!

It's complete, the staples are clean, and I got it for two dollars, which is more than

I can say for a lot of non-keys I've found at my local flea market.

Taking up two spots, 52 Week Seven and Week Eleven, the first appearances for the modern

Batwoman.

And yep, I just checked twitter, and I got shit on by manbabies for daring to show a

lesbian character.

Here's a lousy condition Comics Journal 89.

And you might be thinking, oh, you and your lust for the Comics Journal and Will Eisner.

No no...This has a teeny li'l write up with an image of Leonardo talking about how you

can order the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1.

In better condition, I think it goes for like $20.

Another beat comic, Shazam 28.

The first modern Black Adam.

Purchased for $3.00 at a book store that had a couple of comic boxes.

And I'm pretty sure they had a random issue of Star Brand for $5.00.

Coyote number 11, the first Todd McFarlane art in comics.

And good for Steve Engleheart for giving Todd a chance.

I wouldn't have.

His art in here stinks!

Wonder Woman 188, with a lovely black Adam Hughes cover which is being ruined by the

glare on that bag, but whatever.

Suicide Squad number 23.

First Oracle.

Not a great cover for a key...You get to see the backs of our heroes fighting obscured,

Boxy knockoffs of the AT-Sts from Return of the Jedi.

Doesn't exactly inspire speculators to drive up the price.

Another low-grader, Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen 134, the first cameo of Darkseid.

Who you'll probably never see in a movie.

Civilians will be like, 'That's just a ripoff of Thanos.'

'Actually' 'Shut it, nerdlinger!'

Transformers number 1, with a simultaneously great and terrible Bill Sienkevich cover.

Great cuz it's great, and terrible cuz just use the Optimus design from the show!

Why did it take till Dreamwave to figure that out?!

Superman annual number 11, the newsstand Canadian price variant, which is supposed to mean something.

They adapted this for the Justice League cartoon, and they actually improve the emotional core

of it, but then they aren't allowed or don't have the budget to show the sweeping epic

ending with Mongul taking over the universe in his own mind.

Spoilers!

New Mutants 87, the first Cable.

So I have this, 86, the Marvel Age preview...the only early Cable I'm missing is first baby

cable because, well because I don't care.

He's a baby, he doesn't even have the bitchin' cyborg arm.

A not great copy of Black Lightning number 1.

He's beating on some very well-built pushers.

The only pushers I've seen are scrawny li'l guys on bicycles, but maybe it was different

in the 70s.

Batman Adventures 28, the 4th appearance of Harley Quinn.

That's the earliest appearance I have, which is very annoying cuz these used to be worth

nothing, but I refused to pay more than 50 cents for these animated books.

Uncanny X-men 221, the first Mr. Sinister.

Wolverine's burning so hot, his claws are red, but he still has his arm and armpit hair.

Is that his healing factor, or did he once try waxing and the hair grew back thicker,

darker, and plasma blast proof?

X-Force 11, the first true Domino.

And you can tell she's the real one cuz her luck powers have prevented any rips in her

costume that'd pop out those titties.

Batman 655, the first Damian Wayne.

Just the regular cover, but I got it for 50 cents.

Another beat wonder, Shazam 8, the first reprint of the first Black Adam story.

And it was a terrible idea to do reprints with this series, cuz by comparison, the reprints

made the new material they were producing look like sloppy dogshit.

Wonder Woman 139, another nice Adam Hughes Wondie cover.

A startling new direction for Wonder Woman, which I think they do every five issues.

Scalped number 1.

Also a 50 center.

Cool Jock cover.

Batman and Robin Adventures number 8 with a silhouetted Harley on the cover.

How many early covers is she silhouetted on?

Tales of the Teen Titans 44, the first Dick Grayson as Nightwing.

And the first Jericho.

I guess they figured Deathstroke was cool despite his bell-bottom boots, and Nightwing

was cool despite his plunging neckline and flared collar, so Jericho will be just as

cool with puffy sleeves and a turtleneck, right?

WRONG!

The Forever People number 1, bright yellow.

Why did this particular comic have to go bright yellow?

It's the first full Darkseid.

No seriously, this is on my list, even though it's the less sought-after green cover.

It's Youngblood number 2, the first Prophet who was optioned to be on a show for some

streaming service.

It's kinda hard for the value on this to rise though, cuz the dollar bin has more copies

of this than there are new startup streaming services.

Detective 471, the reintroduction of Hugo Strange.

Wait, did he have a mask on over his big honkin' glasses?

Amazing Spider-Man 347, with a nice Erik Larsen Venom cover.

(Spoilers, that's not really Spidey's skull.)

The Teen Titans 45, the first Bumblebee!

Her Movie's coming out in December.

Wait, that's the Transformer.

Why is this on my list?

Judge Dread, number 1, with a nice Brian Bolland cover.

Judge Dread's apparently just arrested a super-sized version of those freaky midgets from the Killing

Joke.

Wonder Woman 189, another great Adam Hughes cover.

My only complaint: He went a little low contrast with the cleavage.

Batman 237.

It's pretty beat, but Neal Adams already charged me 50 bucks to show it, so I'm gonna show

it!

Amazing heroes 35, an early preview of the Black Suit Spidey.

There's nothin' sweeter than finding a preview book that predates a significantly more expensive

book.

Detective 474, the first modern Deadshot.

Not so modern that he's played by Will Smith, but modern enough.

Marvel Team-Up 141, the first Black Spidey suit by default.

Or something.

I dunno.

People keep showing it on instagram so I put it on the list.

Amazing Heroes 16, the first New Mutants cover and review.

I can't wait to see the fans demand the original cut of the movie after the studio butchers

it and it bombs if it ever comes out.

Justice league of America 137, the first fight between Superman and Captain Marvel.

It's like effing Miracleman 15, but without the violence or destruction.

And finally, New Mutants 98 which I just won from Comics With Bueller.

It's obviously the first Deadpool, the first Gideon, and the first fake Domino, and you

know she's fake cuz if she had luck powers, would her face be just below crotch level

and next to Gideon's old, saggy, sweaty balls?

Goodnight, folks!!

Why Come To I, Infinity? - Duration: 1:32.

So, I'm excited about this festival

because I think it's unique.

It's something that never happened before.

It's a unique conference combining with

art installations and

five individuals talking about their own experience.

How they overcame trauma and

transform their lives into

a very clear purpose helping others.

You know, like, I've met some of these

great amazing speakers at this event

and what Sophie's doing and it's...

it is really unique.

It's very hard in today's world

of overload of information to find

something unique that really

showcases people who are doing things in a different way.

Doing it and successful at doing it.

I think people can tap into some of the stories

and you know, tap into some of the people at the event

and network to be able to

sort of uncover their vision

and passion

and find a way to hack all the stuff

that's in their way to get to their goal faster.

If you come to this event,

I believe you're meant to come to this event.

You'll be a kind of person who's

awakening...

who's beginning to

self-actualise.

To see themselves in the world,

to experience life more fully

and to really connect with yourself

and the rest of the universe.

Once in a lifetime you might say.

In this event, it's not only have me

the Yu-Ling master...

There are other masters of their own too.

They're all there.

They have their own successful story.
