Despite seemingly improving relations between North Korea and the U.S.,...

NBC News has reported that North Korea has been concealing its ongoing nuclear activity,

citing senior U.S. officials.

Regarding this, the U.S. government said... if such is true then the U.S. will respond

accordingly.

Park Ji-won has more on this.

NBC News, citing three senior U.S. officials,... reported that North Korea has been intensifying

its efforts to conceal its nuclear weapons production.

According to NBC, In the three months after the Singapore summit,... North Korea has been

frequently moving equipment and has built structures to hide the entrance to a warhead

storage facility,... to hinder U.S. intelligence activity.

The report also said U.S. intelligence assessments suggest that Pyeongyang could produce five

to eight new nuclear weapons this year.

According to the cited officials,... the North's pace is estimated to be similar,... to the

regime's previous production rate of about six weapons a year,.. before the North Korea-U.S.

summit.

The cited officials said the U.S. will, as the first measure,... step up pressure at

sea,.. with an international maritime coalition made up of the U.S., South Korea, the UK,

France and other countries,... looking for ships that are involved in illegal transfers

of goods to and from North Korea.

Regarding the NBC report, VOA reported that the U.S. government is closely watching the

North's moves, and if it finds out that North Korea isn't keeping up its promise to denuclearize,...

the U.S. will act accordingly.

Citing phone conversations with a source at the U.S. State Department,... VOA reported

that North Korea's nuclear activities haven't yet been halted.

The VOA's source also said the International Atomic Energy Agency Director General's 2018

report shows the North is continuing nuclear activities,... and the State Department shares

the IAEA's views,... saying the North's nuclear activities are a cause for grave concern.

The cited official emphasized that what the U.S. pursues is a fully verified denuclearization

of the North Korean regime,... and if Pyeongyang fails,...then international sanctions will

remain,... and the U.S. maximum pressure policy will continue until the North's actions correspond

with its rhetoric.

Trump receives 'very warm and positive' letter from North Korean leader: White House - Duration: 2:08.

The White House has confirmed that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has sent U.S. President

Donald Trump another letter... in which Kim says he wants to meet with Trump again to

discuss the ongoing denuclearization efforts.

Lee Seung-jae reports.

"Very warm" and "very positive".

These are the words White House Spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders used on Monday to describe

the letter President Trump received from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,... calling for

a second meeting between the two leaders.

"Yeah, the president has received the letter from Kim Jong Un.

It was a very warm, very positive letter.

We won't release the full letter unless the North Korean leader agrees that we should.

The primary purpose of the letter was to request and look to schedule another meeting with

the president, which we are open to and are already in the process of coordinating that."

Just last week,...

President Trump revealed he was expecting a letter from the North Korean leader amid

stalled negotiations to dismantle the regime's nuclear weapons program.

Asked whether a potential second summit could take place in Washington,... the White House

said the U.S. would be keen on hosting it on home ground.

"We will let you know when we have further details, but certainly something that we want

to take place, and we will, already continue to work on making that happen."

President Trump and Kim held their first summit in Singapore in June.

At the time,... North Korea committed to work toward the "complete denuclearization" of

the Korean Peninsula in exchange for security guarantees from the U.S..

However, negotiations to implement the deal have appeared to hit an impasse,... as Washington

demanded a full inventory of Pyeongyang's nuclear arsenal,... while the regime insisted

on first declaring a formal end to the Korean War.

With another inter-Korean summit kicking off in the North Korean capital in exactly a week,...

the latest development has many asking whether there will be a second North Korea-U.S. summit

soon after.

I'm Y0kenB and I'll give you my top 10 tips for what you need to know when starting your live stream adventure

tip number 1 know your target platform

Twitch is by far the most prominent streaming platform

But you can't go wrong with YouTube mixer or even Facebook either

It all depends on the streaming style and target audience

If you don't have a particular audience how but just yet

I'd suggest to the live stream on Twitch as it is by far the most mature and has the largest viewer base out of all

of them you

Could consider using Restream.io to grow your follower and/or discover your target platform to focusing on

Restream.io allows you to stream to multiple platforms at once and

consolidate text messages while offering various analytical stats of your stream

now tip number 2

spice up your channel branding

Take some time to create nice channel art add a banner or flying screen and some interesting about sections

Linked to any social media you might have such as discord Twitter YouTube

Instagram etc to maximize your exposure and bring people into your social circle of choice

now tip number 3

know your streaming tools

the 3 streaming tools that should be on your radar is shadowplay OBS and Streamlabs OBS

Shadowplay is great for quick streams and entry-level streams

OBS and Streamlabs OBS offer a more advanced streaming service. However, I generally use SLOBS

Haha Streamlabs OBS...SLOBS. Love it. I

Generally use SLOBS for the twitch integration feature, which makes life very easy

Create overlays for your streams and learn how and when to use them

720p to ensure smooth streaming to all your viewers

Transcode down which ends up in your viewers getting buffer bubbles all the time

Test your stream audio at the beginning of every stream to ensure your viewers can hear you your frames and the game

These two times people joining a stream one is a looker who has yarn in the background while they do something else

The other one wants to form part of the stream in some way

Acknowledge anyone in chat start that conversation

Read things on the screen and explain your thoughts if nothing else is going on

A silent stream is more often than not an empty stream

Especially if you're still growing

And tip number nine find your style

Go watch streams and find things you like, don't try to be outright

Copy somebody but find what works for you

Your are unique and so is your channel so nurture your own style

My final tip for the day is to network with others find streamers

You like say hi and pot taking they chat Auto host them if you really like them pretty soon

You'll grow your networking circles and expand your relationships. Plus you'll pick up great things along the way that you can add to your channel

Prep yourself for a fun evening and enjoy it

Carolinas brace for potentially catastrophic Hurricane Florence - Duration: 1:43.

The power of nature is about to show its unforgiving force in the U.S. yet again.

About a million people in South Carolina have been ordered to evacuate as an extremely powerful

hurricane barrels toward the state.

Ro Aram reports.

Hurricane Florence has turned into a Category 4 storm and is expected to make landfall on

Thursday.

Weather experts say it has the potential to be the most powerful storm to take aim at

the U.S. mainland this year.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has ordered the mandatory evacuation of the state's

entire coastline, which spans eight counties.

Evacuations are to start at noon on Tuesday, local time, and the directions of several

lanes on four main roads are to be reversed to help with the mass exodus.

Neighboring North Carolina and Virginia have declared states of emergency, with evacuation

orders already in place.

Florence is packing winds of 209 kilometers per hour and is expected to gain strength

as it strikes the Carolinas.

Forecasters say the storm could reach the highest strength reading of Category 5 upon

landfall with the risk of life-threatening impacts.

Along with blasting winds, Florence is expected to bring flooding to coastal and inland regions

due to prolonged heavy rain.

The U.S. military said it is sending about 750 personnel to North Carolina to coordinate

with federal and state partners and provide support.

The U.S. Navy said it was sending nearly 30 ships from coastal Virginia out of port to

ride out the storm.

Meanwhile, President Trump has cancelled plans for a rally on Friday in Mississippi because

of the hurricane.

Slowdown in South Korea's manufacturing sector dragging on local economy - Duration: 2:02.

New figures indicate a worrying slump in South Korea's manufacturing sector,... once considered

the backbone of the local economy.

It's feared a prolonged slowdown could drag the country into a recession... as business

sentiment in the sector and the industry's ability to repay their debts erodes away.

Kim Ji-yeon reports.

A slowdown in South Korea's manufacturing sector... namely its traditionally strong

shipbuilding and auto sectors suggests the local economy may be heading toward a recession.

Data released by the OECD on Monday shows the composite leading indicator for the country...

recorded 99-point-two for July,… zero-point-two point lower than the previous month.

A reading below 100 means an economy is in a downtrend... and it signifies that economic

growth in South Korea is slower compared to other OECD member countries.

The indicator has been falling for 16 months in a row now... after hitting a peak of one-hundred-point-nine-eight

in March 2017.

The indicator is used by the OECD to predict a country's economic conditions six to nine

months down the line... and is based on various data from the Bank of Korea and Statistics

Korea on the inventory cycles of the nation's manufacturing sectors as well as business

sentiment among manufacturers.

Separate data from Korea's Financial Supervisory Service released on Tuesday shows a sharp

monthly increase in the amount of overdue debt owed by small-and-mid-sized companies...

meaning their ability to repay loans fell.

The financial watchdog says late loan payments mainly came from subcontractors of large conglomerates

in the auto and shipbuilding sectors that endured restructuring.

It says their overdue interest rates rose by zero-point-one-percentage-points from a

month earlier to around zero-point-six-percent in late July.

Overdue interest rates overall, including those of conglomerates and households... maintained

their previous level, edging up by less than zero-point-zero-five-percent in July.

President Moon calls for bipartisan parliamentary support on denuclearization Korean Peninsula - Duration: 0:43.

President Moon Jae-in is calling for bipartisan support from lawmakers on the government's

drive to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula,... saying the swift ratification of the Panmunjom

Declaration would give extra momentum.

Members of the Cabinet and President Moon reviewed the bill on ratifying the deal this

morning -- before sending it to the National Assembly for approval.

The government's goal is to have it ratified BEFORE next week's inter-Korean summit.

The cost of implementing the declaration is also expected to be sent to lawmakers.
