Waching daily Sep 26 2018

So about a month ago I asked you on Twitter to give me some ideas you would like to see

on my channel and the idea that got the most likes was "the best places in maps to save weapons".

I would gladly make a video on this topic, but the reality is.. there are no best places..

it's so situational..

every corner can be the best place.. it depends if the bomb is planted and where is the bomb

planted.. how many enemies are alive etc.

So, it made me choose the second idea, which was the game sense and luckily, a game sense

is exactly what you need to figure out the best places in maps in certain situations

to save your weapon.

Game sense is such a big topic.

Urban dictionary says that it's a term to describe a player's prediction and deductive

reasoning abilities.

If we talk about CS:GO..

For me, it's like solving a puzzle from game to game and round to round and there are lots

of puzzle parts.

So, that's why I haven't titled this video around the game sense itself, but simply how

to be a smarter player, since I feel in this short video I just can't cover everything.

The best way to improve your game sense and be a smarter player is to just play the game.

Looking at the pro-POV's is not a bad thing as well.

See what role is the pro playing, which fights he takes and which angles he likes to play,

when does he push and when does he play passively.

On a pro level almost every move is calculated and not random at all, so when you watch pro

players POVs you can learn a lot.

But now some certain things I would like you to focus on in order to become a smarter player.

Firstly, the timings.

Go run around the maps and see how quickly you can get to different places.

Now take this info into the consideration in your matches, when there is an enemy spotted

on Mirage top middle.. you now know where could he possibly be in 10-15 seconds.

It's very important to feel these approximate rotation times.

Also, make sure you know the meeting points and times.

So, for example when the round starts and you got a good spawn you can push A ramp on

Mirage.. but now when you push out to the A site, where the enemies might be at that time.

Maxim has made a great video series on meeting points at different maps, so this could help

you a lot, especially when you like to be an entry fragger for your team.

I will leave all the helpful video links down below and of course big thanks to all these

awesome creators who have produced helpful content for the community.

And now if you know these timings, then you know the basics.. for example on Mirage middle..

CT's with a good spawn will always be the first in the window room and can take you

down if you are carelessly pushing middle as a T.

Secondly, I would like to talk about common angles and prefiring them.

So when you have played lots of CS:GO then you should already know these common angles

where enemies are probably waiting for you and you can use this knowledge to your advantage.

Prefire these positions.

I am not going to show you all those spots since it's not the same for everyone, Silver

players tend to use different positions then pros etc.

So, it should come with the experience, what angles your enemies like to use.

If you can predict it like this, you are a smart player.

Also, the experience and my videos.. are giving you the knowledge about other sick angles

that you don't know about when you are starting out unless you have watched some videos or

someone has shown this to you.

For example this boost here on De_Overpass B short.

Even if you know this boost, this angle will 90% of the times catch you off-guard.

Now pulling these angles off at the right time, against the right enemy, will win you

more rounds, more games and again you will be a harder opponent to play against.

Next up position knowledge heavily combined with your team communication.

So, when you play on Inferno, for example, it is a default defense for CTs to play 3 A, 2 B.

If you push B and kill 2 guys, it is most likely that the bombsite is clear with some

exceptions of course.

Now when you play your slow default round listen to every sound queue and communicate

these within your team.

You can make huge plays relying on this info you have.

If you have one guy close to the B bombsite, while other guys are pressuring A bombsite

and the guy on B can hear the early rotation, it is a smart idea to call your team to go

B and possibly get the bombsite with ease.

Or when your teammates are fighting with CTs at the top middle.

It may be a good idea to flank them from apps because they are not ready for this.

The easiest kill in CS:GO is the backstab, try to trick your enemies so that you can

get lots of easy kills.

And one more tip about positional knowledge.. you can call where your enemies are by looking

at the nades, where are they coming from, how fast are they coming etc.

If someone tries to do T spawn to B smoke on Mirage, I can easily call it that they

are throwing a fake smoke.

Supergeneral.

Alright, let's talk about outplaying your opponent and straight up some examples you can do.

Fake defuse.

Just make the defuse sound and look for the enemy.

By the way, pros don't fake.

Fake flash, with a smoke, decoy or even pistol.

Fake reload and then quick switch, so enemy may think you are reloading and wants to push you.

Fake smoke, throw it in a completely different direction you are going, it may fool the enemy

that you are there.

The same thing goes with the flash as well, works very well in clutches, just make sure

enemies won't see the flash trajectory.

And if you have somehow made your way behind the enemy and you can sneak up close try to

knife your enemy, since it gives you 1500 dollars bonus money instead of classic 300 dollars.

It's a very big difference.

One very important thing to be a smarter player.

Stay alive as long as possible and know when to make a sound.

Basically, when you are alive you are a danger to your enemy.

So, when an enemy has to fight your teammate and you at the same time, it's a perfect situation

for you.

So you want to stay alive, keep the pressure from different angles.

If your teammate is fighting, try to help him, double-peek, sometimes even just shooting

and making the sound from a different angle can distract the enemy and your friend from

a different angle can get an easy kill to the enemy.

If an enemy can just easily kill you, he doesn't need to be afraid of your angle anymore.

If he knows you are somewhere there.. he needs to be cautious.

Also, when you are alive from the other side of the map.

You are always a great radar for your team.. you can call sound queues and you can control

one part of the map.

It's very important to just stay alive.

Try to keep it in your mind when you are playing and see how your team starts to win more rounds.

Alright, know your enemy you are playing against.

Pros can do the research before the game for their enemy.

In random pugs, it's hard to know your enemy beforehand.

But you can learn how he or she plays within the game.

If he likes to push, what positions he likes to play etc.

And when the game goes on you can try to anti the playstyle by countering what he is doing.

You can prefire, flank him or whatever works in a certain situation.

It's just a little prediction game and don't forget that your opponent should do the same,

so if he is good enough, he is countering your moves.

Watch out.

So, to make some sort of a conclusion.

Dont make careless decisions in-game, try to think everything through, what would be

the smartest thing to do at the certain moment as you have some information gathered by your

whole team.

Make sure to say all the info you got to your teammates as well.

Be cautious where the enemy might be at all times.

Stay positive, patient and calm.. try to never tilt, especially in the middle of the game.

That's the worst that can happen for your own game and for your team game.

I hope this video helped some of you guys.

There are many many points to cover under this topic, so if you like this video and

show it with a simple click on the like button.

We may have a part II.

Top 10 Deadliest Hurricanes Of All Time - Duration: 12:39.

Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, Hurricane Wilma these are hurricanes that killed thousands

of people and caused hundreds of billions in damages.

Most of the deadliest hurricanes occur in the United States or the Caribbean.

Hurricanes or Tropical cyclones usually form over oceans in the Autumn after the seas has

been warmed up by the sun from the summer time.

When the winds move over the warm ocean water begins to evaporate and rise into the atmosphere.

This is what causes the column of clouds with low pressure beneath.

Surrounding air than rushes in creating a cycle of winds.

And this is what causes hurricanes.

So this is going to be a scary and sad list but this is the top 10 deadliest hurricanes

of all time.

So just letting you know we have some Typhoon storms on this list.

That's because it's the same thing.

The name for these storms is just a matter of where in the world the storms hit.

Alright starting of our list we have Hurricane Andrew that took place back in 1992, angry

Andrew comes in at number 10.

This was a Category 5 major hurricane that struck Bahamas, Florida and Lousiana.

This was the most destructive hurricane to ever hit the state until Hurricane Irma surpassed

it 25 years later.

Is this real life right now.

100 miles is a massive massive hurricane.

At the time this was the largest hurricane to hit the Bahamas Florida and Lousiana so

out of hundreds of years this hurricane was going to set all kind of records which is

very scary for us.

This hurricane took the lives of 65 people.

Next up we have a death toll of 230-500 people in Mexico when Hurricane Pauline hit back

in 1997.

She roars her way at number 9.

Hurricane Pauline was one of the deadliest pacific hurricanes to make landfall in Mexico.

This storm caused massive flooding and mudslides in some of the poorest areas of Mexico.

Its also one of the deadliest eastern pacific storms in recorded history.

Around 300,00 people were left homeless.

Next up we have a hurricane that cost a record 125 billion dollars in damages, the affects

from this hurricane is still there and this hurricane took the lives of almost 2,000 people.

We are talking about the horrifying Hurricane Katrina that took the east coast by storm

at number 8.

Hurricane Katrina was extremely destructive and a deadly category 5 hurricane that struck

the gulf coast of the united states back in 2005.

My aunt who lives in New Orleans suffered from this storm.

New Orleans was 80 percent under water.

This was the most powerful storm since the 70s when hurricane Camille hit.

This massive hurricane lasted just over 1 week and it had winds up to 280 km/h.

Along with the hurricane it spawned massive Tornadoas as well.

All the way in Pennsylvania there was 5 Tornadoes.

millions of people were left without electricity.

Something we take for granted sometimes the whole east coast of the united states lost

power.

There were hospitals that lost power and fresh water for almost 1 week.

Imagine needing surgery but youn can't have it.

Really really scary event that unfolded that week.

Now at number 7 we have Hurricane Okeechobee that took place back in 1928.

This devastating Hurricane killed around 2,500 people.

This hurricane developed off the west coast of Africa and it strengthened into a tropical

storm eventually hitting Guadeloupe, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Florida it

seems like florida is always hit by massive hurricanes.

Many other places were affected by this hurricane even Atlantic Canada was affected.

That's how much impact Hurricane Okeechobee had.

There was so much rain and flooding.

Some areas was 20 ft underwater.

Houses and buildings were just swept away.

Number 6 we have Hurricane Maria.

So you heard it just now, Hurricane Maria killed around 3,000 people and it caused almost

100 billion dollars in damages.

This was a category 5 major hurricane that is reguarded as being the worst natural disaster

on record to affect Dominica, and Puerto Rico.

This hurricane hit in 2017 so just last year.

Hurricane Maria was actually the third consecutive major hurricane to threaten this area which

is insane.

Its almost like watching day after tomorrow.

the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season was a hyperactive and catastrophic hurricane season that totaled

up almost 300 billion dollars in damages which makes it the costliest bad weather storms

in history there was well over 3,000 deaths.

The 3 hurricanes that year was hurricane Haryvey, Irma and Maria.

A massive hurricane that caused 6 billion dollars in damages, and killing over 11,000

people along the way.

Well at number 5 we are talking about Hurricane Mitch that struck the Atlantic back in 1998.

This hurricane lasted over 2 weeks and it stayed strong throughout its disastrous course.

Hurricane Mitch is known to be the second deadliest hurricane in the Atlantic.

Hurricane Mitch formed in the western Caribbean sea and it drifted through gaining strength

as it hit central America.

Because of this storm it was estimated that Honduras was set back 50 years of its economic

development.

That's because of how costly this storm was.

Image a storm that costs billions of dollars and now instead of taxes and money going towards

schools, health care and such it goes to re-building structures.

Historical buidlings was also affected.

Buildings that were over 350 yrs old were destroyed you can't build back history.

The deadliest hurricane in US history but not the deadliest in the world blows its way

into number 4 on our list.

We are talking about the Great Galveston Hurricane.

I think its time we stop giving these Hurricanes human names and calling it the great hurricane.

This hurricane took place in 1900.

It was a category 4 hurricane that killed around 6,000-12,000 people.

This hurricane actually travelled a very long distance and it killed people on the east

coast of Canada as well.

The hurricane lasted almost 20 days with winds up to 230km/h.

Galveston Texas was flooded up to 12 feet of water.

That's deeper than the deep end in most swimming pools.

Almost every house in Galveston was destroyed.

30,000 people in the city was left homeless out of the total population of 38,000.

People tried to evacuate their homes and when the storm was finally over a lot of people

found there homes totally destroyed or on its side.

The Great hurricane of 1780 destorys its way through the Atlantic taking no mercy at number

3.

This hurricane is the deadliest Atlantic hurricane on record between 20,000 and 22,000 people

died in this freak of a storm.

Mother nature is a bitch sometimes.

Specifics on the hurricanes track and strength are unknown because the official Atlantic

hurricane database only went back to 1851.

But it was predicted that winds were up to 320 Km/h.

Which would actually make it the highest winds in history.

The great hurricane of 1780 hit Barbados with top winds of 320 km/h totally destroying the

island.

The wind was so powerful that the bark came right of the trees.

About 4,500 people died in Barbados.

A fleet of 40 French ships involved in the American Revolutionary war was struck during

the hurricane.

Several hundred soldiers died.

Now at number 2 we have the 1975 Typhoon Nina which is known in the Philipines as Typhoon

Bebeng.

This storm killed over 231,000 people.

There were many collapsed dams due to the heavy flooding that caused an ever bigger

problem.

This powerful storm lasted 1 week and winds got up to 250km/h and it cost China, and Taiwan

1.2 billion dollars and that was back in 1975.

Over 600,00 people was displaced.

After the storm you couldn't recognize the city.

Everything was moved

and damaged.

With up to 500,000 people who lost there life back in 1970 we have the devastating Bhola

Cyclone that struck east Pakistan and India's West Bengal.

Bhola Cyclone comes into this list at number 1.

This storm has been known as the deadliest tropical cyclone ever recorded and one of

the deadliest natural disasters as it killed half a million people.

This storm was powerful, and it last for 10 days.

Let me show you some of the footage that was released to the media.

In Tazumuddin, Bangladesh 45 percent of its population was lost to this storm which is

insane.

So that's 167,000 people.

Winds were up to 240 km/h.

There were reports showing that weather services did not share information of the up coming

storm in time to save people.

Pakistan was not prepared at all for this storm.

Well there you guys have it.

thanks so much for watching.

MrJWW presents the A-Class 2018 (Part 6): Driving Experience - Duration: 1:37.

The new A-Class delivers on the sporty designs promise with its muscular stance.

The A 200 I'm in right now is a 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine with 163 brake horsepower.

That might not sound like much, but honestly, in this package it suits it so well.

The A 250 puts four cylinders to work to offer a powerful 224 horsepower

and comes with a 7-speed DCT as standard.

The agile 1.5-litre, 116 horsepower 4-cylinder diesel engine of the a 180 d

is also designed for dynamic efficiency and more engines will follow.

In the new A-Class, the comfort suspension comes with steel springs as standard.

Optionally, the new A-Class is available with a 15 millimetre lower suspension

than the standard offering to underline its sporty appeal.

As an optional feature the damping behaviour can be customised via an adjustable system.

Ultimately, this is all about flexibilities giving you the choice

of changing the dynamics of the car depending on where you're driving.

So if you want a sporty drive or a relaxed countryside cruise or you're going slower in the city,

at the flick of a button the car is adapting to the driver's needs.

In the end, it's up to the driver to pick the perfect A-Class handling and driving style.

How to Make Passive Income on YouTube w/ Pat Flynn. - Duration: 6:06.

- It's funny, when you actually focus

and get serious about something,

how much faster it grows.

- [Robotic Voice] vidIQ.

- [Woman] vidIQ.

- [Man] vidIQ.com.

- Hello, everyone.

Welcome back to VidCon 2018

and today I'm joined with--

- Pat Flynn.

- [Interviewer] What's your channel?

How many subscribers do you have?

- So we just crossed 120,000 subscribers.

I had about half that less than a year ago

and there's a lot of people who have helped influence that,

but the channel's Smart Passive Income.

I teach people how to grow their business,

help them make more money, save more time,

and help more people, too.

- Passive income, what does that mean

and how does that associate with YouTube?

Because I know a lot of people do make businesses

out of passive income on YouTube.

- Yes, you know there's a lot of ways

to generate income on YouTube.

Obviously, through things like AdSense and brand deals,

and I actually don't do those things.

I make money through the recommendation of other products

and sending people to affiliate links.

So, I try to create the top-quality tutorials out there

that relate to different tools that my audience would use

to help them achieve their goals.

And anybody can do this

and it's not just Amazon Associate products, too.

It's software, it's coaching programs, online courses.

I do extensive reviews and kind of unboxing those things

and, although these are digital products,

you can still unbox them

in a sort of unbox theory kind of way.

- Yeah.

- And be the best one to review that thing.

And that's what I do

and that's how I generate a lot of my income.

I also generate income through building

really, really strong relationships with my audience.

Try to truly serve them first.

That's, for me, the number one way

to build any sort of business,

is to serve first.

And when you do that, your earnings become a byproduct

of how well you serve that audience.

And when you build that kind of relationship,

which YouTube allows for

because it's so personal and so connected,

you build trust and when people know they can trust you,

they will trust your recommendations for,

not just other people's products, but even your own.

So I create online courses and whatnot.

YouTube has played a big role in how

that has all kind of come together over the years.

I had a YouTube channel started in 2009,

I didn't start getting serious about it

until just eight months ago.

- Yeah.

- And it's funny, when you actually focus

and get serious about something,

how much faster it grows.

- Yeah.

- So those of you who are maybe playing around a little bit,

I promise you, if you focus a little bit more effort

and energy into that, you will see growth for sure.

- So, if you are giving a lot of advice

and promotion on different products,

one of the key things, I guess, for you

is making sure that you're

at the top of the search terms and rankings.

How do you do that on your channel?

- So, obviously using keywords and things

that people would type in.

There's a lot of tools, vidIQ obviously being one of them,

that allows for some discovery

of what keywords you can use

and what you can put in your description,

obviously tags and whatnot,

but I think the number one way to go about it,

and I got this information from my friend, Brian Dean,

is if you think of the top content

about a specific key term or a product out there

is like buildings, right?

There's different buildings at different sizes

and the tallest skyscraper

is the one that is ranking at the top.

Well, if you wanna just build a taller skyscraper,

then you're gonna win, right?

So, what's out there, what's it doing,

how can you make something just better, right?

Something that's going to engage people,

have them watching that video longer,

having them watch even more of your videos.

Just, again, trying to keep it simple.

There's a ton of tools out there that can help you,

but I think it really comes down

to just the quality of the content

and just making it easy.

What can I do?

I can make things better than things

that are on that platform and eventually YouTube

and the algorithms are going to kick in in your favor.

- Now, with your business past,

how do you connect those theories and experience to YouTube?

How do you treat YouTube as a business?

Where are the analytics similar

and how to you leverage them to your benefit?

- Yeah, I mean, YouTube to me is one of several,

sort of, content platforms that I use

and they kind of have choregraphy

amongst all of them together.

So for example, there is a product

that I am an advisor for called ConvertKit.

It is an email service provider.

I have blog posts about to use it,

I have blog posts about email marketing in general

where ConvertKit is inserted into that,

but YouTube plays a key role

because I have a demo video on ConvertKit,

and if you look up ConvertKit on YouTube,

I have the number one video.

But that video isn't just living on YouTube,

it's also living embedded on my blog,

it's embedded in my tutorials,

it's even embedded in my online courses

and it just continues to churn the views,

which helps the algorithm, but also, obviously,

delivering content in a way that introduces people

to this product, shows them how easy it is to use.

It doesn't go over, these aren't hour-long tutorials

that go over every single feature,

I just pick the top five and I just go for,

okay, this is why you need this,

and then, it kind of works on its own.

So this is the passive part of it.

You do all this work upfront

and then you can reap the benefits later,

kind of just continues to grow

and exponentially grow from there.

- How do you measure success?

- Ha, this might be interesting,

but I actually don't primarily look at the numbers.

I do look at the numbers, they're obviously very important.

I look at the trends, but to me, success is measured

through how well I'm serving my audience,

and the way that I measure that

are by the thank yous that I get.

I actually keep track and count the number of thank yous

that I get and I have, if you've ever seen my office tour

which is really popular, I have a home office

that was built from scratch

and there's a little wall behind us in my office

that is all the thank you notes and cards

that people have sent me, many of them handwritten.

That's how I know that I am doing something right.

And when I go to my mailbox, every single week,

I pick up dozens of new thank you letters.

Pat, you've changed my life.

Pat, you helped me quit my job.

Pat, you helped me make X amount of money.

Pat, you helped me spend more time with my family.

That's how I know that I'm succeeding.

The other numbers,

that we all pay attention to, - Yeah.

- will come if you get those kinds of things.

So my goal is to, whenever I create a program,

or even a video or anything,

how can I get it so well done that a person

would take the time to write me a thank you note

after watching it?

And if that happens, I know I'm doing the right thing.

- And this is a theme that we've been hearing

throughout VidCon.

It's not necessarily about the analytics,

it's about storytelling,

and you're receiving these little snippets of stories

every time somebody sends you these thank you notes.

- Yes, and I know that's just a fraction

of the number of people you're helping, right?

- Yeah, absolutely. - Because not everybody

is going to send you one.

- Thank you very much, Pat,

and we'll see you all again soon.

- Thank you. - Bye for now.

(gentle upbeat music)

Oh, iced persimmon. It came with that too?

That's why I asked her to get it.

But is it okay if I go get that?

And she's already gone.

She asked me to go too.

Would I take a cure to become hearing? || DEAF AWARENESS DAY 26 - Duration: 4:58.

Hello you sonsy folks, how are you doing today?

I am answering the big question today

The question that I have been asked on and off for my entire

28 years of being alive

And that is

"would I take a cure to make myself hearing?"

{Intro music}

So let me start this video by saying that no such cure exists.

Hearing aids and cochlear implants can be helpful devices, but they do not make you hearing.

There is no magic pill or surgery that can reverse hearing loss.

That does not exist

Yet

but science and medicine are constantly evolving and there may come a day

While I am still on this planet that a cure does become available

And that would raise the question in a whole new light

Would I take that cure?

Honestly?

No

And it's actually something that I have thought about quite a lot

When I was growing up and I felt out of place

around all my hearing friends and I was being bullied for being deaf

Then yeah, there was probably a chance that I would have taken a cure if it had been offered to me

but I would only have been doing it

in an attempt to be like everyone else around me

And, as I got older, I started thinking about it more

And

I have never been fully hearing

There are people that are born hearing and then they go d/Deaf later in life

I was born hard of hearing so

I've never had

total

hearing

And then I went deaf in high school

So it's been like a good

over ten years since I actually went deaf

And

I can barely remember what some sounds sounded like when I was hard of hearing

so the idea of taking a cure that would make me fully hearing

And would mean that I was hearing the stuff that I heard when I was hard of hearing

As well as stuff that I have never heard in my life

Sounds

terrifying to me I mean

I mean

Yes, some people would call it a blessing or a miracle even but to me it just sounds so

daunting

Imagine hearing sounds that you didn't even know existed

Imagine going from a nice quiet world to a suddenly very noisy world

How would I cope?

How would I sleep?

or focus on anything?

And this question actually came up again recently when I got my new hearing aids

because

There's a fly again

because I am hearing things that

I don't remember ever hearing

And honestly?

I hate it

It scares me

I get so many frights with my hearing aids in these days

and they come out the first chance I get

because honestly

That noise- that amount of noise

is so

overwhelming to me that sometimes I just want to run and leave all the noise behind

And I know the abled people think that all disabled people probably just spend every day dreaming of being abled

But I cannot think of

anything worse

than suddenly being hearing and

And, furthermore, I'm proud of being deaf

Love being deaf

I love d/Deaf language and d/Deaf culture

and d/Deaf community

And

More than that, it's my identity. It's who I am.

So science and medicine can keep away any fancy cures that they may come up with in the future

because

this is me, and this is how I will remain

I'm really curious if you guys feel the same way

Would you become hearing if the opportunity presented itself and why?

Please let me know in the comment section because I'm really interested in learning other people's perspectives on this

That is all that I have time for in today's video

But I'll be back tomorrow with a new Deaf awareness video and I hope to see you then.

Bye
