alright guys today I'm gonna bring you three ways to make immediate money

shops I never heard you talk about this before what is it how can I make me any

money doing it well freelance drop shipping is exactly what it sounds like

but instead of drop shipping normal products where no potentially you're

facilitating the sale between a man you sure and the customer and making the

markup what you're doing here is you're facilitating the sale between a customer

and a service provider on a freelance website it's that simple so a great

example of this might be two of the most popular uh you know freelance websites

are fiber and up work and I'm gonna use this example because it's a great one

but there are a number a number a number of freelance websites that you can kind

of dilly-dally and mix back and forth no people dropship erm Amazon - sorry

people yet people dropship and they also do arbitrage form Amazon eBay just like

people do Amazon or Ebay - Amazon and vice versa you can dropship for it you

if that person selling that gig for $10 on up work then you can relisted on

Fiverr for $15 or $20 whatever and then when people come to your fiber listing

and they buy that SEO gig where you're giving them a hundred quality backlinks

guess what you do you turn around and you purchase the upwork gig for ten

bucks and you make that $5 markup for simply facilitating the sale from

somebody who's already looking for it on a different website to somebody that

already provides it on another freelance website you don't have to do any of the

work you simply purchase the gig you get paid for yours and you make the markup

that is freelance drop shipping and it actually works very very well if you

want to check it out so great great great method to make immediate money

online today now number three is actually a clothing website but it's not

a clothing website or a clothing app just a loan you can literally it's

another ecommerce platform like you know eBay and Amazon Poshmark is a huge

platform and actually one of the things that in ways that I

I'll sell it on ebay but sometimes I'll sell it on Poshmark and so all this

thing's on Poshmark and make money doing so and I don't you

don't have to do anything don't pay for any effort izing you don't pay you don't

you don't pay for any shipping on Poshmark the customer pays for

everything and you'd be surprised that if you just started listing stuff on

Poshmark doesn't always have to be closed even though it's supposed to be

closed all this stuff that's not close on Poshmark all the time I never get in

trouble or never get caught not saying this server that you should do that I'm

just throwing it out there in case you want to try so you can list old clothes

on Poshmark you can do arbitrage with clothes on posh market you can find

cheap cheap clothing on Alibaba or Aliexpress or any of those other things

you can you know list stuff on Poshmark and I'm telling you telling you I'm

telling you there's millions of people on Poshmark that are closed or holics

and you know things just get purchased you know from Poshmark in my my poncho

mark closet all the time I've probably turn in about 100 bucks a week on

Poshmark and that's all profit and I don't even

like I'm not even trying to sell anything on there I'm not I'm never on

the app I'm never on the site people just purchase stuff from my closet all

the time and it's free money for me now not 100 bucks a week isn't that great

it's not that much money but it's a way that you can make immediate money online

right here right now and is literally literally so freakin easy I'm telling

you Poshmark is great because it's 100% profit you don't pay for the shipping

ahead of time you don't get charged a certain percentage or a feed a list on

there it's super super easy super super cheap and something that I highly

suggest that you do so those are three you can make immediate money online

Nat Reviews: Jay-Z & Linkin Park's Numb/Encore - Duration: 11:09.

Hello once again everyone and welcome back to Nat Reviews, the series where I take a

look at some piece of media, often music based or a television show, and I give my thoughts

on it.

This week around I will be doing something a bit unique in the series, this time around

it's a mashup.

Not a Nat Compares, where I compare two songs that I feel are similar

in some way, but an actual mashup.

This time around, as you already know from the title, it is Jay-Z & Linkin Park's Numb/Encore.

This actually fits nicely with the theme I have been going with this month, it's from

2004, it's also involving a respected rapper making something that became a pop hit, and

also was something made in 2003 that hit it big

in 2004.

Well, Numb and Encore were made in 2003 and hit it big respectively in 2004, while the

mashup was equally as massive but went big in 2004, the same year it was made.

Another interesting coincidence is that this song also won a Grammy in 2006, meaning the

three songs I reviewed this month won a Grammy in 2004, 2005, and 2006 respectively.

As usual, I shall give a bit of backstory to the song's creation and the state the groups

were in at the time, like I did with Hey Ya and Let's Get It Started.

Let's start with Jay-Z, he is the name listed in front on the track.

Jay-Z, at this point in his career, was in the state of going into retirement, a very

well documented time in his career, receiving much coverage.

He was in the state of retirement due to what he perceived as the 'lack of competition'

in the rap game.

Many did doubt the length of his retirement, especially with lyrics sprinkled

around in Encore.

His subsequent record, The Black Album was a massive success and still touted as one

of the best ever made.

Of course, his retirement didn't last long and he is still making new music today.

Now, what about Linkin Park?

Well, they had just came hot off the heels of their own massive album, Meteora, which

is the biggest album of all time for the Alternative Rock charts.

To this day, Meteora has sold well over 27 million copies.

There was singles released for a year to promote the album, many of them becoming massive hits

for the band, especially their song Numb, which is still one of their

largest singles, and one of their most well known, to this day.

The album featured it's own bits of rap as well, being partially of the

rap metal and rap rock genres.

Of course, there was also nu metal influence as well, especially on one of the songs being

covered today, Numb.

That's just a very brief overlook on the two groups at this time, both are still considered

some of the greatest of all time in their respective genres.

However, the main focus today is on this little oddity that came out a year

after their respective and massive records.

That being a track off the mashups EP, Collision Course, which features, you guessed it,

Numb/Encore.

It's not so common that two groups of different genre's come together and make an entire record

together.

Sure, collaborations are common, but not mashups of music from

two very different records.

So, let's talk about Collision Course's development, even if brief, shall we?

Okay, so with the two acts having such a massive year in 2003, and in to 2004, it only made

sense they'd look at eachother and think 'Hey, let's do something together'.

In fact, that's similar to what Jay-Z himself thought.

He saw the wordwide success Linkin Park enjoyed with their first two albums, Hybrid Theory

and Meteora, and he thought he could work with them.

Interestingly Mike Shinoda himself had made mashups during his experiemental pre-Linkin

Park days, often times combining Jay-Z with other acts.

The two groups contacted eachother through emails at first before meeting in person,

and once they did so, they had produced Collision Course in just four days.

They enjoyed the experience and found it very rewarding.

Another fact about the creation was that it was a center piece of a show on MTV that was

soon to air, MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups, which the two groups performed a concert for.

Lots of interesting little details I am just brushing aside here, do go look into it yourself

sometime, lots of fascinating facts about both Jay-Z and Linkin Park, especially during

this time.

But yes, without further ado, let's dive on in to the mashup!

Alright, so because the song is a mashup, I shall give a look into each song briefly.

First we'll start with Numb as it's the one billed first in the song title.

Numb was released in 2003.

It was the biggest song on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart for both 2003 AND 2004,

it is the only to do so.

The song is about someone reflecting on not being good enough and being unable to please

everyone.

It is also about someone being made to follow in someone else's vision for them, even though

that is against the first person's wishes.

They only wish to be theirselves but the other person is smothering their desires just to

make them in their image, in a sense.

This is only the briefest overlook I can give on the song without going into full detail,

like I would in a usual video.

But yes, the song on it's own is hugely popular even to

this day.

It's also a really excellent song with enormous production values, as to be expected from

such a massive group as Linkin Park.

You should definitely check it and the album it's from out sometime if not already.

Now we move onto Encore itself, which is the second one billed on the title, even though

it's the first song being played on the track.

But yes, Encore addresses the critics who doubted Jay-Z's retirement lasting long and

also is a song very much reflecting on the impending retirement Jay-Z was going in to

at the time.

The track featured vocals from John Legend, Jay-Z, Don Crawley, GLC, and even Kanye West,

also in his prime at the time.

Also yes, Kanye produced this track, he was very very

successful with producing at the time and was respected in the game.

This is also long before John Legend made his own large hit in 2014, he still was a

big name at the time.

Encore samples the trumpet intro from John Holt's cover of The Beatles' 'I Will', huh,

The Beatles keep finding their way into these videos, strange.

But yes, it's a pretty well produced track, as to be expected from someone who was the

top of the game at the time.

It too should be listened to, along with the record if you haven't

already.

Now with the individual tracks being very briefly looked over, now onto the mashup itself.

The track begins with a distorted bit of Numb mixed with portions of Encore, as to be expected.

Jay-Z and Linkin Park perform the intro of the song, followed by a pre-verse chorus

by Jay-Z, Kanye West (Yes, this technically counts as me giving a review of Kanye West,

as odd as that sounds with Linkin Park in the same sentence), and Chester Bennington.

Chester re-recorded his parts for the song and gives the same level of vocal intensity

as the original track.

This chorus is followed by Mike Shinoda telling Jay to 'Get 'em Jay-Z'

Jay then follows up with his first verse which is from Encore, followed by a chorus also

from Encore mixed with a part from Numb in one line.

Then Jay gives his second verse, which is also from Encore directly.

This is followed up by a verse directly from Numb, performed by Chester and Mike.

The chorus that follows after them is from Numb directly.

As a mashup would, of course.

The outro is a mix between Numb and Encore's choruses and the song ends right there.

The song is extremely well produced and the combined beats of both tracks is very impressive

and one that someone can jam to.

It's a very well made mix of both songs and it's very

nice.

But yes, this is the end of the song.

Now it's time to move to my thoughts on it overall.

Well, my thoughts on the song as a mashup is a bit mixed.

The song did well on the pop charts at the time of release, even if it didnt get much

airplay on either the rap or the rock stations.

The song now comes off in a sort of novelty feel I believe to many.

The song is extremely well produced and one of the best mashups I've ever heard, hearing

it back then did lead to an interest in me of mashups of songs.

However, there is that feeling in me that the song is likely forgotten even with how

massive a hit it used to be.

Sure fans from both acts likely still enjoy it, but I am uncertain

how big it is still is people's minds.

I do love the song as it's an excellent example of a mashup done right.

Both individual tracks are excellent songs from excellent and massive records.

Both on their own get a huge approval from me and you should check them out.

If you enjoy your mid 2000s music enough, you'll likely have heard this at some point

and if not, you could check it out.

It's definitely a track to check out, it gets my praises as a mashup still.

It does however get an A from me, nearly a A-, but I lean more towards an A this time

around.

Well, I'll start with Jay-Z, do I look forward to more from him?

Likely, it seems to be a mystery when he'll put out something new now, but each time he

puts out something it's pretty well covered.

So we'll see when he releases something new if I will.

But in general, I always find it interesting when he'll release something new, and if he

does, I will hear of it certainly.

As for Linkin Park, they are still releasing new material at the present.

They have looked into new musical themes to go with Mike's experiemental nature, especially

with the huge switch in genre that their latest effort was.

I do look forward to what they can create next based on their last album.

I wonder what new styles and genres can be looked into.

Their change in musical direction is something I

will be looking forward to into the future, sure I love their old and original style,

but there's just something that always intrigues me

when a band changes direction, a la Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, and numerous others

in history.

Even if it fails spectacularly, I enjoy seeing how well they can do with the change.

So yes, I look forward to more from both acts!

- [Staff] Today, we brought you here

for a little parent and kid challenge.

- Challenging.

(Oscar gasping)

- Oh, no!

- Should we hold hands?

- I'm scared.

- Oh, I know what it is.

Pineapple!

(people laughing)

- Oh my yums!

- I can smell it already.

- It stinks!

- Do you know what this is called?

- No.

- It's called a durian fruit.

- What's a durian?

- This is a durian.

- Oh.

- It smells delicious!

- It smells like a Starburst.

Honestly, it smells like my auntie's house

when I was a kid.

- Your auntie's house?

- Yeah.

- Wait, did she have toys there?

- No.

- It kinda smells like after you take a poo,

and then you spray bathroom spray,

it's like, "Ew."

It smells good and stinky at the same time.

- That's disgusting.

- Okay, how about you use this hand to cut it?

- Oh my, no, no, no.

- Yeah, yeah.

- I don't want any.

(Oscar giggling)

- This looks like a bone.

Is this an animal?

- I think this one's gone,

it's like,

it's like pudding.

- [Staff] Yes, it's supposed to have a little

bit of a custard texture.

- It smells disgusting.

- [Staff] Really?

I thought you said it smelled good.

- Yeah, it's taken a turn. - Well, yeah.

- I'm not excited.

- Cheers!

Boop!

Okay, ready?

(playful guitar music)

I don't know what's happening right now.

- [Staff] One, two, three.

(playful guitar music)

(forceful retch)

- Thank you.

(Ernie spatters)

(vigorous nose-blowing)

- Hmmm, no.

- [Staff] So, this is actually a super fruit.

- What does that mean?

- It means disgusting, pasty fruit.

(people laughing)

- I have friends who actually love durian.

- [Staff] There's durian on there, careful.

- Ew!

(staff laughing)

My durian child.

- Can I say one thing about this?

I'm very proud that you tried it.

Good job.

- [Staff] We actually have a couple of other little treats,

since you guys did such a good job.

I wanna give you guys kind

of like a congratulations thank you treat.

- Okay.

- Yay!

It's gonna be chocolate eggs.

- Hey, where is everybody?

- [Staff] Open!

(woman gasping)

- My favorite! - My favorite!

- Golden Oreos!

- That makes more sense than macaron.

- It's so yummy!

- I bet they're lemon!

This is when you don't trust people anymore.

- Oh my God.

- I thought it was gonna be yummy.

- I did, too.

- It tastes like sweet yummy stuff.

- It's not bad.

- [Staff] Really? - It's not bad at all.

- Maybe it's like getting vaccinated?

Like, the first dose of eating the actual durian

is like getting our bodies used to it.

- Now, we're immune and now we like it.

- This is really good.

- [Staff] Okay.

Open!

- Ooh!

This looks so cute!

- Bummer. - I want to do that to you.

- Oh my God, that's such a strong flavor.

No.

- How does that taste?

- I don't like durian.

- [Staff] That's right, it's a durian push pop.

- We got tricked again, Dennis.

We got tricked.

This is actually pretty good though.

- I prefer it in this mode.

Yeah, I feel like it really lets the fruit shine.

(people laughing)

- I would rather have something without durian.

- Yeah.

- High-five, Suvi, we did it!

- Have you tried durian?

Don't try it.

- Yeah, what was your favorite one?

- I loved nothing with durian.

(people laughing)

Should You Self-Publish Your Book? - The Pros & Cons - Duration: 6:07.

- Hello everyone, my name is Mandi Lynn.

I'm the author of the fantasy novels Essence and I am Mercy

and thriller novel She's Not Here

and also the creator of AuthorTube Academy.

And we are four days away until the release of this book.

So how are we celebrating today?

Well we are gonna be talking about

the pros and cons to self publishing.

(uplifting music)

So hopefully you are watching this video

if you're trying to decide whether

you would like to traditionally publish

or if you would like to delve

into the world of self publishing.

So there are many pros and cons to self publishing

just like there are many pros and cons

to traditional publishing.

Today I have much experience with self publishing

and I also am friends with a few

traditionally published authors.

So I have kinda gotten the grip

on what is the good and the bad

and that is what we're gonna be talking about today.

So let's get the bad stuff out of the way

and start talking about the cons of self publishing.

So this one is pretty obvious,

but you have to pay for everything.

So without the support of a publisher

everything comes out of your paycheck.

So this means you are the one paying for the editor,

the cover designer and the marketing

and any book events that you may want to go to.

Now you can write off these expenses when it comes to taxes,

but it's still an expense

and you still gotta come up with the money.

Con number two is that the distribution is smaller.

So this can change from author to author

and also depending on who you use to distribute your books

if you only use CreateSpace you're a little more limited.

If you use IngramSpark you are a little more unlimited.

But it is harder to get your book into bookstores

when you are a self published author

although it is not completely impossible.

Con number three is that you get fewer sales.

So this again is not necessarily true,

it depends how you market your book

and how big your platform is.

If you have a large platform, you may be better off

than some traditionally published authors.

But if you have a small platform,

you are gonna make fewer sales.

But it all comes down to how much work

and effort you throw into it.

And the last con I'd like to talk about

might actually be the biggest con is that anyone can do it.

So that is also a pro, but the con to that

is just the fact that because anyone can do it

literally anyone can do it.

Which means sometimes the books

that are published aren't the best.

Now a lot of people seem to think

that self published authors,

their books just weren't good enough

for the traditionally published world

and while that is not necessarily true,

the bad self published books that are out there

kinda ruin the reputation for the good self published books.

I would like to consider my book a good self published book,

but I would be lying if I said

people haven't looked down at me because I'm self published.

I say if you hold yourself

like a traditionally published author,

if you present yourself like one

and you throw as much effort into it

and you make yourself look like one, you are fine.

So there is a whole flooded market

of bad self publishing book,

but in that market is also

the very good self published books

and that's what you want to be

and that's what you want to aim for.

So now that we've gotten the cons out of the way,

let's talk about the pros of self publishing.

Pro number one is my favorite one

and that is that you have complete control.

So this is the number one reason I am self published

because this is the first thing you lose

as a traditionally published author and that is control.

You don't get to choose the cover,

you may have a little bit of say,

but you probably won't have a lot of say.

You don't get to decide where the book is gonna be sold

or how much that book is gonna be sold for.

You don't get to decide what events you go to

or how many signings you have a year.

But when you're self published,

you get to decide all those things,

you can go to as many events as you want,

you can sell your book wherever you want,

you can set it for whatever price you want

as long as you're able to logically do it yourself,

as long as you have the budget and the means,

you can do whatever you want.

Pro number two is that you get to take all the credit

so this means if your book is wildly successful

you get to take all the credit

and you get to give yourself a big pat on the back.

Now that is not to say that when you're self published

you do it all alone,

if you ever look at the acknowledgements sections

of a self published book there are a lot of people involved

in the publication of a book.

But for the most part, it was all you,

or in this case me.

And pro number three might be the biggest pro

for some people is that you get a bigger chunk of the money.

So when you are self publishing

you're the only one who gets the royalties.

When you're traditionally published the royalties

kinda get split up between the whole team of people

that helped publish the book.

So when you're self published you make a few bucks a book

when you're traditionally published,

I don't know how much you make a book, but it's not as much.

So as long as you sell a ton of books

when you're self published

you could actually make more money self publishing

than you would traditionally publishing.

So those are my pros and cons to self publishing.
