Hello

a proven way to store carrots

the process of preserving carrots repeatedly tested for years is very simple and reliable

loss from decay or shrinkage of root vegetables, there is practically no need to wash the carrots

cut the top and bottom of the fruit slightly and dry thoroughly

then distribute and put in plastic bags in portions of 8 10 pieces

it is better to take the packages with thicker walls or two one-to-one insert the tube into the package and pump out to that air as much as possible

then quickly twist the neck of the bag and pull the tube

twisted into the tourniquet, fold in half and pull the string together by twine in the same way that the rest of the carrot

Store in a wooden or cardboard box at the bottom of the cellar dry place

I wish all luck to subscribe to the channel put the likes write comments

Diving Boards | How It's Made - Duration: 4:01.

♪♪

Narrator: TO MAKE THE DIVING-BOARD SHELL, WORKERS LOAD A SHEET OF ACRYLIC

INTO A CLAMPING MACHINE THAT TRANSPORTS IT INTO AN OVEN.

THE OVEN HEATS THE SHEET FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO SOFTEN IT.

THEN, A FORMING MACHINE APPLIES SUCTION

TO DRAW THE SOFTENED ACRYLIC TIGHTLY OVER A MOLD

IN THE SHAPE OF TWO DIVING BOARDS.

FANS BLOW COOL AIR,

HARDENING THE ACRYLIC TO THIS SHAPE WITHIN SECONDS.

THEY EXTRACT THE MOLDED ACRYLIC,

THEN SAW IT IN HALF TO SEPARATE THE TWO DIVING-BOARD SHELLS.

THEY COAT THE SHELL SURFACE IN A RESIN-AND-FIBERGLASS MIXTURE.

THIS TOOL IS CALLED A CHOPPER GUN

BECAUSE IT CHOPS AND SHREDS THE FIBERGLASS STRING,

THEN SHOOTS IT OUT DRENCHED IN RESIN.

THEY ROLL IT TO COMPRESS THE FIBERS AND PUSH OUT AIR POCKETS.

ANY TRAPPED AIR WOULD CREATE A WEAK SPOT IN THE DIVING BOARD.

AFTER LETTING THE RESIN DRY AND HARDEN FOR 30 MINUTES,

THEY BEGIN FILLING THE SHELL CAVITY

WITH .2-INCH THICK FIBERGLASS MAT.

THEN THEY LAY DOWN ANOTHER FIBERGLASS MAT,

THIS ONE A BIT THINNER

AND SATURATED WITH THE EXISTING RESIN.

THE DIVING BOARD'S CORE IS MADE OF LAMINATED WOOD,

WHICH IS SEVERAL THIN LAYERS OF WOOD GLUED TOGETHER.

LAMINATED WOOD IS ACTUALLY STRONGER

THAN A SOLID PIECE OF WOOD.

AFTER ROUNDING THE TOP EDGE, THEY LAY TWO WOOD-LAMINATE CORES

OVER THE RESIN-SATURATED FIBERGLASS MATS.

THEY POSITION CLAMPS TO HOLD THE CORES IN PLACE,

THEN LET THE RESIN CURE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

FOR A HALF HOUR OR SO.

THEN THE CLAMPS COME OFF, AND WORKERS COVER THE CORES

WITH AN EVEN THICKER FIBERGLASS MAT IMPREGNATED WITH RESIN.

THIS IS THE BOTTOM OF THE DIVING BOARD.

THEY MAKE SURE THE MAT IS CENTERED...

...THEN MANUALLY FORM IT TO THE SHAPE OF THE BOARD,

PUSHING OUT THE AIR POCKETS AS THEY GO.

THEY SPRAY ON SOME DECORATIVE PAINT,

THEN PUT THE BOARD IN AN OVEN FOR 24 HOURS TO CURE.

WHEN IT COMES OUT, THEY USE A DIAMOND BLADE

TO SAW OFF THE EXCESS FIBERGLASS AROUND THE EDGE.

THEN THEY DO A FINAL TRIMMING

TO MAKE THE EDGE NEAT AND SMOOTH.

THEY MASK THE SIDES WITH TAPE, LEAVING ONLY THE TOP EXPOSED.

THIS IS WHERE THEY'LL NOW APPLY A ROUGH TEXTURE --

A SAFE, NON-SLIP SURFACE.

FIRST, THEY ROLL ON A THIN COAT OF RESIN.

ONTO THAT, THEY SPRINKLE A LAYER OF SILICA SAND,

MAKING SURE TO COVER THE SURFACE THOROUGHLY AND EVENLY.

THE SAND STICKS TO THE RESIN,

WHICH SETS AND CURES IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES.

AFTER SWEEPING OFF THE EXCESS SAND THAT DIDN'T ADHERE,

THEY ROLL ON A COAT OF LAMINATING RESIN,

WHICH BONDS TO THE SAND,

GIVING THE SURFACE A CLEAN, FINISHED LOOK.

THEY PULL OFF THE TAPE

AND APPLY THE MANUFACTURER'S DECAL TO THE SIDE.

THE DIVING BOARD IS NOW ALL SET TO BE INSTALLED

ON A STAND AT THE EDGE OF THE DEEP END

TO AWAIT ANYONE READY TO TAKE THE PLUNGE.

3 Tips For Better Short Field Landings - MzeroA Flight Training - Duration: 5:26.

[Music]

Hey Everyone, Jason Schappert, here of MzeroA.com, I'm on the left downwind,

right now, for runway 23 at the Williston Airport

And I want to share with you three tips, three secrets to

Better or let's call them perfect Short Field Landings

First things first, I want to start my descent--this isn't one of the tips, this is just a fact--

I want to start my descent abeam my touchdown point, I'm aiming for the beginning of the second centerline strip

carb heat--power comes back--10 degrees of flaps, I always

do it in that order. If you go flaps first, where does that nose want to go? I'm already at a disadvantage,

You all know I talk about the secret to perfect landings, one of those secrets is:

A perfect traffic pattern. I want to do that! I want to make sure I've established descent,

you first tip comes here, you've heard me say the phrase that "airsped is king,"

I need you to manage your airspeed through this, now

I don't want you to be really dragging this airplane

in here. Remember what we practice when we do a shortfield landing--I'm going to make a radio call real quick

Williston Traffic, Skyhawk 23MZ is turning left base, 23, full stop

Williston. I don't want you dragging it in. A real short field landing

[mistakenly says takeoff,] we're pretending we're clearing an obstacle and hitting our point.

if you're just dragging it in trying to hit a point, you're doing a spot landing.

You're not doing an appropriate, short field landing here.

I want to manage my airspeed, is the big point.

I was 90 on downwind, I'm 80 on base, I'm adding my next knotch of flaps, I don't like to add

flaps in a turn, you've been following me long enough you guys know that, right?

I'm out here on base, & I'm slowing, I want to slow to about 70 on final.

And I want to bring this thing clearing my obstacle, and landing at the beginning of the first centerline stripe.

Is the point that I chose, final looks clear. "& Williston,

traffic, skyhawk 23MZ is turning final runway 23 full stop Williston"

Making, a nice smooth turn to final, already slowing down

to my 70 I've got my airspeed managed. Here's your next tip:

You're next tip is to aim ahead of your point. You should know your airplane,

by now, & know how well it floats. A 172 floats a lot.

further than say a Piper Arrow does, right?

You should know your plane, & know how well it floats. I'm adjusting my power, I pitch for airspeed,

I power for altitude, I'm at 68-67 right now, speed

is great. In the right seat I'm putting the centerline on my chest, if you're sitting

in the left seat as a student, you want to go ahead and put that on your right shoulder.

I got centerline down pat. Now, my third is going to

come after touch down, and it's something called aerodynamic braking, which

will be a little discussion here in just a bit. We're coming on in, I'm aiming

ahead of my point, like I told you in my second tip here, so I'm really aiming

at the beginning of the first centerline stripe as crazy as that sounds

here, but I know the airplane's gonna float. So let's say,

I'm clearing my obstacle, I'm over that imaginary 50' obstacle, now I can really start to bring that airplane on down

without picking up airspeed I can do that by adjusting my power, & what you're not

seeing is that I'm taking out millimeters of throttle, just bringing it back.

slowly but surely, aiming ahead of my point, aiming ahead of my point, here it comes

there goes my aim point, here comes my touch down point, right,

there. Just like that. Aerodynamic braking

back on the yoke, on the brakes, and in some cases

flaps up, to make it as realistic as possible, now I say in some cases

I say in some cases because some checkride examiners

especially in complex airplanes don't like the idea of

you going and touching the flaps, because there was an instance where

a student thought he was bringing the flaps up hit the landing gear switch instead. That makes for a bad day

so a lot of check ride examiners, don't want to see that, they want you to simulate

aerodynamic on the yoke & I'd be bringing the flaps up now, sir or ma'am, is all you would actually

say here, I did it for real this time, back on the yoke, flaps up, what

I'm doing is I'm adding the weight back to those main wheels, & Williston traffic 23MZ

is clear of 23 at Williston,

I'm doing a great FaceBook Live & YouTube Live

on the secret to perfect landings, you get signed up on YouTube or FaceBook, it's totally free.
