#8 Alan ''Nasty'' Nash Alan Nash is a 56 years old Englishman who

works as a product specialist for a construction company by day but in his free time, he likes

to do something a little different; and it has to do with the with most underated part

of human's ant at helm he- toes.

Have you ever heard of a sport called toe wrestling?

Well, you have now.

This particular sport is basically thumb wrestling, but with your toes.

Alan Nash known as Nasty Nash went to his first toe wrestling competition in 1994 and

since then he has taken home 15 championships!

Unfortunately in 1998 "Hulk Toe-gan" over here couldn't compete because of his severly

broken toes.

This is a full contact sport, and you gotta get off the tracks when the toe train is coming

through.

His most miraculous feet is that one year, Alan won the championship with four broken

toes in one foot which is toe-tally awesome!

He was also the first winner of the World toe wrestling championship.

Which is a competition that is held in Fenny Bentley every year which is a small town in

Derbyshire, England.

Besides being the toe-minator, Alan also has couple other unusual talents like chicken

hypnotizing and he also has a Guinness world record of smashing the most eggs with his

toes in one minute!

This is a man with true Athlete's foot.

#7 Chris Anderson Everyone loves cheese, right?

I know I like it in my jokes!

Imagine you could combine falling down hill and cheese with the beautiful english countryside?

Well imagine no more because that totally exists.

The Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling championship is an annual event held on the Spring Break

Holiday at Cooper's Hill, near Gloucester in England.

Cheese rolling is a tradition that is so old that no one can agree on when it started.

Hey Cheese rolling, your mama is so old her memory is in black and white.

Hey Cheese rolling, your moma is so old that her last name is o-saurus.

Hey cheese rolling, your moma is so old in her history class they just wrote down what

they were doing.

The way Cheese rolling works is that about 50 guys stand on top of a ridiculously steep

hill and someone rolls a wheel of double gloster cheese down the hill and the contestants go

running after it.

It's actually super intense and someone is kurt every year.

Meet Chris Anderson - The Cheese Rolling champion and the King of Coopers Hill.

Chris won his first cheese rolling championship at 17 years old 2005, a year after coming

in second on his first.

If he wins this year it will be the 21st time he takes home the first place prize, which

by the way is cheese.

When asked what is the secret to his success he answers just run and stay on your feet,

good insight.

It's not as simple as it sounds however.

Anderson tore his left calf muscle this year, sustained a broken ankle in 2005 and bruised

kidneys in 2010.

Lesson learned, the great victory won't come without a lot of stuff burning.

But hey you get a huge piece of cheese when you win so it'll be all worth it!

#6 Kurt Steiner

In 2018 Kurt Steiner made world hisorty.

On the shores of handsome lake in penneslvania, kurt, who is an absolute unit found a perfect

rock and skipped it 88 times!

Footage of the event shows his colossal throw with its tremendous momentum as the stone

skims accross the lake.

Steiner says the key is a good grib and the spin you put on the stone and of course, never...Skip...

#5 Stare Master and Eyesore In 2017 a competiton was held in Northern

Australis called "So You Think You Can Stare" Teams of two would look into eachother's

eyes without blinking for as long as possible.

They brought in four highly trained referees for the event to stare at the starers and

make sure to share if the stares were fair.

Two men, Fergal "Eye sour" Fleming and Steven "Stare Master" Stagg came to win.

The average person blinks 15 times per minute and if there is any wind or loud noises, that

number increases dramatically.

The previous world record holder lasted for 17 minutes.

Steven the Stare Master was favored to win and they two were locked in a record setting

showdown for 40 minutes!

Up unitl that time there was no eyelash on eyelash contact then, out of nowhere steven

couldn't take it any longer and he blinked at 40 minutes and 59 seconds.

Fergal the Eyesore Fleming became the world record holder in longest 1 v 1 stare!

Now that his life in the open eye game is over he says that he'll spend hours at a

time enjoying having his eyes closed!

#4 Timo Kaukonen Even though this competition is no longer

being held it still needs a mention being one of the most obscure and with one the most

pad pass champions in the world.

In the year 2010 in a place far away called Fin-land, the first world's sauna Championship

was held.

There have been 12 competitions starting from 1999 and Timo Kaukonen has won five championships

since then.

Sauna bathing at extreme conditions is highly dang jerry us and a severe health risk.

Competitors participate at their own bisk.

And let me tell you, at the World Sauna Chamiponships, the competition really heats up

According to the rules, the last person leaving the sauna unaided is the winner.

The competition starts at 170 °F degrees but the water is thrown to the stones in every

30 seconds and the temperature will rise so significantly that the sauna will start to

feel like an oven.

On 7 August 2010 when the last competition was held.

Russian finalist and former third-place finisher Vladimir Ladyzhensky and Finnish five-time

champion Timo Kaukonen passed out after six minutes of (230 °F) heat, both stuff herring

from terrible turns and trom ah.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the sauna!

Kaukonen was able to leave the sauna with assistance, but Ladyzhensky had to be bragged

out, and almost immediately went into lamps and can volume sons.

Ladyzhensky tied despite resuscitation attempts and Kaukonen was rushed to the hospital.

Kaukonen woke up from a medically induced coma six weeks after the event.

His respiratory system was scorched, 70% of his skin was burnt and eventually, his kidneys

failed as well.

Being a true Finnish, despite the accident that almost cost his life Timo still goes

to the sauna.

#3Paul Hunn History was made in 2002 when a Paul Hunn

from London defied what we thought was possible.

He became the world working champion!!

Now a lot of people think that the way the working championhip is measured is by the

length of the welch.

But they would be wrong.

It is decided by volume!

On that fatefull aftertnoon this welching bohemeth really let it roar!

Paul blew away the competition and put himself on top of the world with a burp of 118 decibels.

He says his trick is that he doesn't eat all day so that he can put a full bottle of

soda in his stomach then he takes a breath, leans forward and lets it rip! Paul's burp

is louder than both a car horn and thunder!

So you know he doesn't get many dinner invitations.

#2 Ady Zivelonghi Ady Zivelonghi is a 50 year old man from Coventry,

England and he is currently The World Gurning Champion.

What is Gurning?

Well In this competition, contestants have to put their head through a horse collar and

''snarl like a dog, look save age, distort their face.''

Basically whoever pulls the hug he mess face in this competition will be awarded.

Luckily for Ady, he's hid yes!

When asked his strategy against his fellow competitors Ady answered that he always ends

with his best gurning move that he he calls "The Bread at her".

Not sure if he means the arnold schwazinager bread at her or the Chris Hansen bread at

her, it could go either way.

Ady contorts his face to look like one of my nightmares and he sticks out his dentures

in a way that's frankly disgusting.

The move obviously works since Zivelonghi just won his second championship in a row

The gurning contest is only one part of a series of traditional sports and events held

as part of the Crab Fair in Cumbria in North West England.

You can also participate in a pony leaping and ripe folk sing contests.

#1 Feliks Zemdegs Feliks Zemdegs was born in Melbourne Australia

1995.

At the age of 12 he decided to watch a youtube tutorial about speedcubing.

He was so fascinated by how fast people could solve the puzzle that it inspired him to go

and get his first cube and start practicing.

His first attempt lasted about two hours.

Which is just embarrasing.

Two months after he got a bit faster and made his first unofficial record solving the puzzle

in 19.73 seconds.

Nowadays he holds the record of 4.22 seconds.

This man has the fastest fingers on the planet!

It's hard believe that he's able to maintain that speed while he fights back all those

boards of women who are head over heels for speedcubers If 4.22 secondis isn't impressive

enough for you already, he also has the skills to solve the cube one-handed and blindfolded.

to solve the puzzles as fast as possible.

There's a big battle going on down here in the circuit boards.

Well, they have a secret, and it's driving them apart.

Recently, they all had a big argument and every Big Brain split up into their left and

right Braineules, and things just haven't been the same ever since.

Come on guys, let's sit down and talk about this like adults, or however old you are?

Okay, they keep fighting, so I guess I have to show them what they're missing.

Now, while we're filling up, we might as well talk about how this matters to you humans.

You're obviously not made of two Braineules, but what would happen if something similar

happened to you and you only had half of your brain?

Assuming that you'd otherwise be okay, things would likely change for you, at least to some

degree.

Let's take a look at the right left brain vs. right brain belief.

This says that you have a more dominant side of your brain and that it affects your personality,

making you more logical and detail-oriented, or more creative and imaginative.

Jeez, how long does it take to fill up this thing!?

Now, this is fun to talk about, but the thought of being more "left brained" or "right

brained" has gotten a lot of backlash and isn't really supported by science.

And according to a 2013 study done by the University of Utah, neuroimaging data hasn't

provided any clear evidence on whether or not these differences in left brain vs right

brain dominance really exist.

After looking at the noggins of 1011 people between the age of 7 to 29, researchers found

that a person's brain lateralization, which is basically the two halves of your brain

being different and having separate functions, appeared to be a local property of the brain

rather than a global one.

That said, losing half of your brain might offer up other, more specific changes to your

life.

For example, a 2012 study that looked at people's motor controls suggests that the left hemisphere

of your brain is more involved with learning new motor skills, while the right hemisphere

is more important in updating your ongoing actions.

So you might run into issues there.

But what if instead of missing /half/ of your brain, you instead were missing a much smaller

part?

Like maybe a bit of your gray matter?

Well it looks like that could still make a difference!

Recent research that looked at the structural brain images of 34 patients — 17 of them

having narcissistic personality disorder, or NPD — found that the patients with NPD

had less gray matter volume in their brain's left anterior insula.

This was the first empirical evidence that the brains of patients with NPD had structural

abnormalities.

Not only does it help us learn more about the disorder, but it has me thinking that

you might have more narcissistic tendencies if your gray matter volume suddenly went down.

So yeah, you're brain is pretty important and not having parts of it could change you.

Caves are amazing works of nature that hide some fantastic secrets from the world above them.

It is a great experience to explore and here are some of the best caves in the world that

you should visit for a really wonderful experience!

Reed Flute Caves – In Guilin, China, for many years now, people have been flocking

to the caves known as the Reed Flute caves.

It is a simply stunning structure with splashes of color all around and it was discovered

back in 792 AD.

Since then, many people have been coming here to bask in its wonders.

There are some terrific rock formations and a number of stalactites which one can feast

on with their eyes!

The reed flute cave is 240 metres in length and many parts of it are illuminated.

There are also more than 70 ancient inscriptions on the walls of the cave which shows that

people have been coming here for a long time!

The blasts of color and the reflections make the reed flute cave look as if it belongs

in the sketchbook of some psychedelic painter!

Antelope Canyon – When we think of winds it is mostly as the soft breeze that blows

across our face.

But sometimes, the winds can cause great things without even blowing that wildly.

That is the case with the Antelope canyon in Arizona, and flash floods also helped in

shaping it into the way that it is now.

But of course, one needs to be careful as flash floods do tend to take place here often

and have been known to kill tourists without any warning.

But the good news is that there have been guided tours here since 1997 and the antelope

canyon is particularly famous amongst photographers and sightseers alike!

The antelope canyons are quite literally poetic in nature and it looks as if they have captured

the very song of the winds!

And the red stone also makes this cave even more spectacular!

Son Doong Caves – Located near the Laos-Vietnam border is the Son Doong cave.

And as of now, they are the largest cave known to man.

The cave is really striking to look at and once you do manage to get inside, there is

a large fast flowing subterranean river to be found.

The cave is believed to the 2 to 5 million years old.

Inside the caves you can find isolated ecosystems, weather systems and many geological formations.

The vastness of the caves will definitely leave you in awe and if you have the adventurous

streak in you, the Son Doong caves must definitely be on your list of things to do.

The Blue Grotto – Ok, be honest and tell us if the name did not intrigue you.

And if you ever do manage to visit this gem of a cave in Capri, Italy, there are far too

many things to be intrigued by rather than just its name.

The blue grotto is a sea cave and there is a brilliant blue glow for which it is known.

The glow comes from 2 sources.

One is the entrance where and the second is a much bigger hole beneath the entrance!

The view inside is surreal which a serene blue glow emanating from below the surface

of the water while the entrance appears as a brilliant white light!

The blue grotto caves are well known by the locals who often come to explore its wonders

and the cave can be accessed by boats!

Cave of Crystals – When in 1910 miners discovered the cave of swords in Chihuahua Mexico, they

did not know that a much larger and more awe inducing cave was located just below it!

When it was finally discovered in 2000, the cave of crystals revealed beauties like never

before.

It contained the largest natural selenite crystal ever found and the biggest crystal

was 12 metres long and 4 metres wide!

But the environment inside the cave is not very welcoming with temperatures ranging between

50-58 degree celcius and 90-99% humidity!

Which is why it is largely unexplored as even scientists with the proper gear and everything

can stay inside for 30-45 minutes at a time.

And whats more fun?

The crystals actually glow!

Fingal's Cave – The uninhabited island of Staffa in Scotland is home to many wonders.

But perhaps there is none greater than Fingal's cave.

It is a sea cave and there are many distinctive hexagonal basalt columns to be found here

which looks like the work of dwarves in many lores of fantasy.

In fact, once inside you would not be the first who thought that they were inside a

cathedral.

The size of the cave along with its shape and naturally arched roof combine to give

it that feel and the waves also create some eerie sounds to enhance the atmosphere!

And if you ever wanted more motivation to visit the cave, there was also a famous musician

who visited here and then wrote an entire concert overture inspired by it!

Eisriesenwelt Ice Cave – Imagine a cave where you can actually experience ice that

is 1000 years old!

That is the sort of thing you can expect when you visit the Eisriesenwelt ice cave which

is a natural limestone ice cave.

In fact, it is the biggest cave of its kind and extends a massive 42 kilometres into the

Earth!

Of course, not all of it is open to the public and you can only go up to 1 kilometre into

the cave.

But that does not stop people from visiting it though as more than 200,000 come here every

year!

It was formed by the Salzach river which eroded pathways in the mountains and the thawing

snow that drained into the cave froze and gave it those wonderful ice sculptures!

Mammoth Cave – When the name mammoth is given to something, it has to be large, right?

And the mammoth caves are no exception.

Located in Kentucky, USA the mammoth caves span a mind boggling 52,830 hectares which

makes them twice as long as the second longest cave system in the world!

There are many features in the cave like the grand avenue, frozen Niagara and the Fat man's

misery all of which can be accessed through the various tours that are conducted here

and can last as long as 6 hours!

Just be sure to never get lost in them because it is definitely going to take a long while

before you can figure out how to get out of these enormous caves!

But given its beauty, it might not be all that bad!

Skocjan Caves – Scientists are usually a picky bunch and they are not really the ones

who jump to conclusions.

But when many international scientific circles consider something to be one of the most important

natural treasures in the world, it is definitely worth a look.

Which is probably why the Skocjan caves in Slovenia is on the UNESCO world heritage site

list!

The caves are home to some of the most significant underground phenomenon in the world and they

are some of the largest underground canyons known!

The beauty of the caves if something that has to be experienced first hand and it is

also home to a diverse eco system!

And what makes it even more interesting is that these caves were not always abandoned

and many had found a home here during pre-historic times!

Carlsbard Caverns – Nestled deep into the limestone rock of the Guadalupe mountains

in New Mexico are the Carlsbard caverns.

They are an extensive network of caves which is one of the very popular tourist sites there!

The caverns include the big room, a chamber which is 4000 feet long, 625 feet wide and

255 feet high!

It is the 7th largest chamber room in the world!

The Carlsbard caverns host a plethora of options for tourists which include camping as well

as bat flight, where they basically witness bats flying out of the caves at sunset and

back in at sunrise!

Waitomo Caves – If ever you wanted to witness nature in all her spectacular glory, New Zealand

would definitely be the place you should visit.

This wonderful country is home to many spectacular sights and one of them is the glow worm cave

called the Waitomo caves.

The cave is a natural beauty and the view is turned into something out of the world

because of glow worms.

These glow worms are generally the size of mosquitoes and there are millions of them

inside the cave.

Of course, there are very stringent measures in place to ensure that their population is

not harmed but there are guided tours that you can avail where you will take a boat through

the magical caves with a ceiling that looks straight out of a fairy tale!

Marble Caves – Marbles are a wonderful material to build stuff from.

They have beautiful little patterns which make for some amazing sculptures and buildings.

But if ever you wanted to witness marble in all its natural glory, you should head to

the General Carrera lake in Patagonia near the Chile Argentina border.

This little beauty is a water filled cavers system and is one of the largest deposits

of marble in the world.

And waves have been shaping the marble in this cave system for over 6000 years!

What is interesting about the marble caves is that the water level changes frequently

here.

That, combined with the fact that reflection of natural sunlight off the turquoise water

is the only source of illumination here gives it a lot of visual effects that actually change

depending on the amount of water!

Benagil Sea Cave – Imagine a cave so remote that the only way you can get to it is by

going through water!

And yet, people are willing to do that because the Benagil sea cave is simply a natural wonder.

The cave has a naturally occurring oculus along with its own private beach!

The cave is located in the Algarve region of Portugal and is actually much bigger than

it appears from the outside!

The caves were carved from the pounding waters of the Atlantic ocean and you can witness

a plethora of colors here which come as a mix of the sky, the ocean, the sun and the

rocks!

But you might want to hurry there though as the caves are expected to collapse, though

no one knows when.

And neither is it something very alarming, as it is part of the natural geological evolution

process.
