Sadhguru - How to treat patients ? - Duration: 14:07.

Tracey: I think that we are in a very unique moment in history of healthcare, at least

in this Sadhguru: That's what every generation thinks.

(Laughter) Tracey: Well, let me give you some data points,

maybe I can convince you.

(Laughs) What I… what I mean by that is

even those of us who may really, who are quite attached to the current medical

model, to re-look at that in a new way simply because

it's not working and it's not working in a lot of significant

ways.

It's not working financially, I mean, the statistics and this audience probably

knows them well.

The amount of money this country is spending in

hi-tech medical interventions exceeds any… by-far exceeds any other country around the

globe and yet our health outcomes are worse.

The…..

Interesting now that I live in Veterans Administration and I interface quite a bit

with the department of Defense, a statistics I was

I was in a meeting not very long ago and someone from the department of Defense said,

'Do you know this?

Health in this country is an issue of national security'

and I thought for a minute like, 'What's he talking about, right?'

(Sadhguru Laughs) Because eighty percent of people that walk

into a recruitment office for the Armed Services

doesn't even qualify to be considered for service,

eighty percent because of their health status So the dominant medical paradigm is

what you were describing which is we have a disease that we have to fight.

And our… you… it's revealed in the language that we use,

you know, antibiotics, anti-psychotics, anti… anti… anti

the concept - the disease, it's over there and the job of medicine is to fight that battle

and win.

Sadhguru: See this… this whole concept and this approach to modern medicine

has come because you need to understand when they thought of

medicine when they thought of developing some kind

of medicine and a system of medical treatment,

their problem was only with infectious diseases and contagious diseases.

How to treat the plague?

How to treat the small pox?

How to treat this?

Nobody ever thought of a diabetes or a hypertension or a cardiac problem.

They never even considered those things that did not exist in their radar.

In their radar, only infectious diseases did exist.

That has to be handled on a war footing, no question about that because it is a war.

An infection means it's an invasion from another organism

upon our own system and you have to use chemical weapons.

(Laughter) You can't shoot them.

So this whole medical system evolved from the need to handle infectious

diseases, contagious diseases which were taking a huge

toll on populations in those times.

But today we have come to a place where people are on self-help.

That is, they manufacture their own diseases, (Laughter)

they don't wait for any infection to happen to them.

(Laughs) Because now they are on self-help,

they need another system of medicine, another way to approach it completely

which is a shift we are struggling to make right now.

(Laughs) Tracey: And now where we are of course is

that the sciences have advanced.

We have complexity theory and systems biology and quantum physics

but the medical model, the dominant medical model

again I am making gross generalizations but the dominant medical model is still designed,

our core competency is still designed on the 'find it - fix it' approach

which is clearly failing.

I mean even in the chronic conditions in this country,

we're not even holding our own.

I don't know if you are aware of those statistics but diabetes, hypertension, heart failure

– they are all… the percentage of our population,

obesity, the list goes on every single one of them across the board

and our veterans, NNRs, civilian population are increasing every

year.

So we are failing and I believe that that uncoupling and removing the boundary

shall we say between medicine that has been over

held over here (Gestures) and health and spirituality and whatever labels

we want to put on this over here (Gestures), you know

One response right now in this country is even with unaffordable

well, we have to focus more on health.

So one response is 'well, medicine will keep doing disease

management over here and then we can pay little more attention

and hopefully reimburse a little more for health optimization over

here.'

I personally think and then I want your thoughts on this:

If that is… that's better than not including this

but the real opportunity is to remove the boundaries –

these are not separate things; the mind and the body are not separate things.

And in… in western medicine, we are taught to diagnose and treat the diseases

of the body, the diseases of the mind

but we have missed that the doorway to the health

and healing of the body and mind is really in my opinion,

the heart and the soul.

So how do we how do we re-envision a future of healthcare

where they aren't those boundaries?

Sadhguru: See the ideal, the ideal is one thing and what we can do

today is a different thing, okay?

The ideal would be that we look at human well-being, not human health.

If you consider human well-being as a composite subject

and an approach, then you would consider what makes a human

being complete and approach all of them together –

that is the best way to do it.

But today what can we do?

If that's a question, we can only talk about, you know,

somewhere having a little we can't marry them yet,

we can only have a date.

(Laughter) Tracey: I kind of like to jump right in.

(Laughter) Sadhguru: It's a… the situation is not

ready to simply get them together, no.

Because lot more work has to be done, it's not going to happen in a short span

of time but we can start interfacing here and there.

It is possible that hospitals can have a meditation center going within them

and it is possible meditations can….

meditation centers already generally have, but we can make sure that there is a little

bit of health center out there.

We can start having a little bit of a skirmish right now.

Right now, they are not ready for total union because in both the sides,

there are too many opinions about each other.

Largely people are not looking at the whole health as… as such.

They are trying to impart what they have studied or what they have grasped.

It doesn't matter whether it addresses the whole humanity

or the whole human being or not.

So that attitudinal change is not going to happen just like that.

Till a day comes when medical education includes all these

things which may make it even longer than the way

it is right now…

(Laughs) And I would like to see a day

when doctors before they touch another patient, first fix themselves internally

before they touch somebody else because this is all important.

When I say this is all important – for example, we were talking about Bhuta Shuddhi

or handling the elements.

Today sufficient research has gone into particularly into water,

scientific research.

And what these scientists are saying is 'water has memory.'

If you give it a thought, it remembers; if you give it an emotion, it remembers;

if you give it a touch, it remembers.

So, if elements have that kind of memory outside, you can turn

you can change the quality of water just by touching it

or with a thought or an emotion or a hand.

There was a beautiful experiment conducted by

a twelve-year-old girl and ten-year-old boy in India.

What they did was, they read about this somewhere on the internet

and they came home and they set up two glass pots of water.

One room… same water in two glass pots.

One room, they go and express very loving emotions,

they touch it, they kiss it, they hug it every day for ten minutes.

Another room, they go and abuse it and do express all kinds of negativity.

Mother was very… their mother was very concerned, 'I can't believe they have so much negative

emotion in them, (Laughter) they are expressing it to the water.'

In ten days' time, this water for which they were abusing and

expressing negative emotion, it turned dark.

The other water remained just like that.

They posted it on the YouTube, you must see it.

So, this is something we have always known.

In India, in part of our life, nobody in traditional Indian home ever drinks

water from a tap.

It doesn't matter whether it's potable or not potable.

Even if it is say… if it's said potable, it is not.

What we do is, we take a copper vessel or a… see, here otherwise always next to

me, there is a copper vessel or a brass vessel.

And they will take it, they will wash it with turmeric and tamarind and everything in the

night, put water in it;

they will apply something… some, you know, what is considered sacred symbols on it,

they worship this, and then only tomorrow morning,

it is given to your family.

Because water has memory.

They are saying if the water is pumped through the pipe, this

if pumped through the pipe and it's taking fifty bends by the time it

it comes to your house by the time it comes to your house, sixty

percent of it, the molecular change…

change in it is such that it is literally turned into poison.

But if you take it in your glass and hold it for about twenty minutes,

it will undo itself but just the forceful pumping, not contamination,

just the forceful pumping is making the water in molecular structure in such a way

that it's harmful to human health.

So if you're doing that to the water, if you are treating this with all kinds of

emotions and negativities and, you know,

all kinds of abuse to yourself and to others, the water here also behaves the same way.

This is not new; always every human being who lived on this planet

with a certain connection with nature around him always knew this.

So one of the things that we can do particularly for people who are going to war

and coming back whatever war is the most extreme situation that human

beings can create by themselves.

For other things, you need nature's help, you know?

(Laughs) People who have been put through this wringer

if they are coming in broken states, one of the best things you could do is,

all of them compulsorily should go through at least one month of living on a farm being

connected to the soil and water and air around them

putting their bare hands into the land and doing something simple,

just being connected.

I must tell you this experience.

We had a yogic hospital in our yoga center in India.

We called it yogic hospital.

We did not want it to grow too much because we don't want to turn into a hospital

fulltime; we are a spiritual center.

(Laughs) So we're keeping it low-key.

Once when I came here, I spoke and a few doctors American doctors who were interested, they

traveled to India.

They came and stayed there for three days and after three days,

one of the volunteers came and told me, 'All the American doctors are up in arms.

They want to leave.'

I said, 'What happened?'

They said, 'It's best that you meet them.

They're just… off.'

Then I said, 'Okay' and I went to meet them.

Then I said, 'What's the problem?'

They said, 'You said there is a hospital.

Where is the hospital?

There is no hospital here.'

I said, 'Right now, there are about sixty and odd patients.'

They said, 'Where is it?'

Their idea of a hospital is that there must be beds,

you must treat sick well and everybody should be

if you treat them so well, they will not want to become healthy.

(Laughter) 'Where are the patients?'

I said, 'They're all in the garden.

I put them to work.

(Laughter) We give them the treatment and therapies and

medication but rest of the time, I put them to work.

Whatever they can do, they must do.

Above all, they must sit and work barefoot and bare hands in… with the soil.'

Just being in touch with the planet because you are just a drop of this planet.

You are forgetting that.

What you call as my body is just a piece of the planet, isn't it?

If you lose connection with the source, will you not get disorganized?

There are specific scientific ways of doing that.

If you cannot do any of those things, at least just let them walk in a farm barefoot,

work, do something, you will see at least sixty-seventy percent

of them will just come out of their problems just like that, just being in touch with this.

Avengers 4 HULK Is A SKRULL REVEALED!? SKRULL Invasion You Won't See This COMING - Duration: 5:31.

you

what is good YouTube Warstu here

with a video on Avengers 4 so yesterday

we had all the Captain Marvel

information which is basically making it

clear what's gonna happen in ER then

just four so make sure to subscribe to

channel if you are new so it's

officially being revealed that the

scrolls have a massive part in Avengers

4 prequel movie called Captain Marvel

set in the 90s they're in a big capacity

than originally thought so the movie is

set years before the MCU timeline in

ways it's set in the 90s the scrolls

have infiltrated high-level

organizations like agents of shield and

have become even more powerful with

characters we think we know so it shows

so it shows Mendelson in a human form

with a caption saying on earth

medal son Tallis goes undercover as a

human working within shield so he

infiltrates shield is this a person that

Nick Fury keeps saying to people last

time I trusted someone I lost an eye now

it would make sense for someone to

infiltrate shield just like Hydra

infiltrated shield in I think it was

season 1 of agents of shield it wouldn't

make sense for one of the scrolls to

import rate shield and we know it's

gonna happen so we know in the comics

they can ship so we know in the comics

they can shape-shift but we were unsure

until we have confirmation that yes they

can shape-shift inside the MCU and this

does confirm the scroll invasion of

shield in the 90s so the most likely

case is scroll could have been here the

whole time without us knowing

so it's Hulk secretly a scroll agent I

think he could

so during age of Ultron that is where it

could possibly happen you know where he

went off in the Quinn jet and ended up

in Sekar is that the real reason why

Hulk was so much different so a scroll

would struggle to replicate Hulk's pure

rage power in ways hence how he nearly

defeated was nearly defeated by Thor and

he got pummeled by Thanos quite easily

now or now Hulk is destroyed

his Avenger so there is a lot of kind of

reason so in infinity war this is where

the biggest case scenario comes alive so

hole gets destroyed by fan ass easily

but in Thor 3 a Hulk Bruce didn't

remember anything about getting his ass

handed to him by Thor the

characteristics in Thor 3 and infinity

war made you think that Bruce and Hulk

weren't even the same person weren't

even the same character it's almost like

someone had taken over them so what is

interesting is so what is interesting is

during infinity war Bruce remembered

everything they remembered the death of

Loki where we all know didn't really

happen but you remember the Infinity

stones now Bruce during 4 3 didn't

remember even fighting Thor so how could

he remember fan ass destroying

everything if in Thor 3 he couldn't

remember anything so it is a very

possible scenario that maybe the scroll

invaded Hulk took over Hulk because I

know in the comics they can replicate

super theme and strength but the scrolls

wouldn't be able to replicate Hulk's

raids because when Hulk get angrier he

gets stronger and stronger and stronger

and stronger so you could say they took

over a Hulk at the end of age of Ultron

without anyone knowing it's quite

interesting so now we know that they can

shape-shift with inside the MCU there is

more evidence that maybe Hulk and Bruce

Banner is the scroll agent that no one

knows about but realistically it could

be anyone could be Captain America could

be Black Widow could be Tony Stark could

be Hawkeye fans aren't happy with the

three-part story arc we had so far they

weren't happy with Thor they weren't

happy with hole in Thor 3 they

definitely weren't happy were Hulk in

infinity war because we hardly see him

and when we did get to see him as like

phallus made him look like a little

bitch but that wouldn't really happen

even know it just wouldn't really happen

so are they setting up for a scroll

invasion in a future Avengers movie The

Secret Invasion storyline possibly I

just wanted to go this guy's because I

think it's a very interesting topic that

the scroll could already be inside

agents of shield still you want my own

Nick Fury keep saying last time I

trusted someone I lost an eye is

is to personally trusted most likely not

that's most likely going to be Ben

Madison who we know is in the Captain

Marvel like always guys let me know what

you think about this you might say it's

absolute rubbish but if you do let me

know down below so I am giving away

Avengers infinity war blu-ray tomorrow

that will when I will hand out the first

one all you got to do is comment down

below who is the best villain in the MCU

and I'll do the kind of giveaway

tomorrow and then all you have to do is

email my business address and then I

will send it out to you it's like always

guys please like subscribe and comment

don't worry we're gonna go over the

theories if they're mad plot leaks

trailer right down we're just gonna go

over the loads of Marvel DC stuff just

like we do anyway even if it's only the

smallest detail with still going to go

over it anyway guys I will catch you in

another video very soon catch ya

This AI Performs Super Resolution in Less Than a Second - Duration: 3:46.

Dear Fellow Scholars, this is Two Minute Papers with Károly Zsolnai-Fehér.

When looking for illustrations for a presentation, most of the time, I quickly find an appropriate

photo on the internet, however, many of these photos are really low resolution.

This often creates a weird situation where I have think, okay, do I use the splotchier,

lower-resolution image that gets the point across, or take a high-resolution, crisp image

that is less educational?

In case you are wondering, I encounter this problem for almost every single video I make

for this channel.

As you can surely tell, I am waiting for the day when super resolution becomes mainstream.

Super resolution means that we have a low resolution image that lacks details, and we

feed it to a computer program, which hallucinates all the details onto it, creating a crisp,

high-resolution image.

This way, I could take my highly relevant, but blurry image, improve it, and use it in

my videos.

As adding details to images clearly requires a deep understanding of what is shown in these

images, our seasoned Fellow Scholars immediately know that learning-based algorithms will be

ideal for this task.

While we are looking at some amazing results with this new technique, let's talk about

the two key differences that this method introduces:

One, it takes a fully progressive approach, which means that we don't immediately produce

the highest resolution output we are looking for, but slowly leapfrog our way through intermediate

steps, each of which is only slightly higher resolution than the input.

This means that the final output is produced over several steps, where each problem is

only a tiny bit harder than the previous one.

This is often referred to as curriculum learning and it not only increases the quality of the

solution, but is also easier to train as solving each intermediate step is only a little harder

than the previous one.

It is a bit like how students learn in school: first, the students are shown some easy introductory

tasks to get a grasp of a problem, and slowly work their way towards mastering a field by

solving problems that gradually increase in difficulty.

Two, now, we can start playing with the thought of using a generative adversarial network.

We talk a lot about this architecture in this series, at this time I will only note that

training these is fraught with difficulties, so every bit of help we can get is more than

welcome, so the role of curriculum learning is to help easing this process.

Note that this research field is well-explored, and has a remarkable number of papers, so

I was expecting a lot of comparisons against competing techniques.

And when looking at the paper and the supplementary materials, boy, did I get it!

Make sure to have a look at the paper, it contains a very exhaustive validation section,

which reveals that if we measure the error of the solution in terms of human perception,

it is only slightly lower quality than the best technique, however, this one is five

times quicker, offering a really nice balance between quality and performance.

So, what about the actual numbers for the execution time?

For instance, upsampling an image to increase its resolution to twice its original size

takes less than a second, and we can go to up to even eight times the original resolution,

which also only takes four and a half seconds.

The quality and the execution times indicate that we are again, one step closer to mainstream

super resolution.

What a time to be alive!

The source code of this project is also available.

Thanks for watching and for your generous support, and I'll see you next time!

Calisthenics im Esterhazypark Wien mit Team Barforce - Duration: 10:25.

Welcome to this new video and thanks for watching. Todays video will be about my own daily training routine.

In the last time I have read some comments about that my videos are quite good but sometimes a bit long or theoretical so I decided to show you something more practical today.

I understand your comments but the reason for that is that I really want to make good and informational videos without a lack of information so that's why they're like that sometimes.

Everyone can turn on the camera and tell something but I really want to make videos with all important info featured in them.

But however, today I will show you a session that we'll have in the Esterhazypark in vienna with some guys from Teambarforce and with Dorian, a great Cameraman.

I'll soon get ready and I don't know what we'll exactly do today but I think we will have a great time. I am just going to eat my leanstuff with berries and then I'll leave.

So we just arrived here in the Esterhazypark. With me are the guys from Teambarforce and the Cameraman Dorian.

The guys are pretty young but really strong and we'll see what's possible for us today. Sami will even be representing Austria at the WC this year.

We'll now switch to this camera and warm up and then we'll start. Enjoy the session!

As you can see the guys are throwing out some great dynamics. I can't keep up with that since I don't really train it and I am very afraid but I'll try some statics.

How old are you? "I am 15 years old". Oh that's young, and since when do you work out? "Since 2 years". Wow that's not long, you'll see some great progress for sure, respect! "Thanks!"

Some floor stuff with the good old paralettes.

That's it with the session so far. The guys will go home now. As you have seen they are really strong so make sure to check them out. I'll put a link below.

Big thanks to Dorian. Make sure to check him out as well, he also makes great calisthenics videos on his channel. the link is below as well.

I will be talking to you later again but the freestyle part of the session is over now.

Bye...bye...

Here I am again. I am still here, we did some other exercises and basics right now and I'll now have to continue with a little endurance session.

In one month I'll compete at the Power and Strength World Championship in Riga again, this year in the endurance category so I have to prepare.

As you have seen we have just been throwing out some moves before and we had a lot of fun doing so.

Normally I am trying to follow my plan but it's also ok to just fool around on some days as long as you are doing something.

In general I like to follow a plan because it helps me to know what I should be doing at least each day of training.

So in the plan I created it's written to do some endurance today and I'll do that now and I'll be back right after that.

That's it for today. I'll go home now.

I finally made it home. I am dead because of all the basics but I am happy to know that I have done enough.

Right now I am finishing some rice with beans and vegetables to have some protein and calories after training.

What I wanted to say: Write it in the comments if you want to see videos like that more often from now on and also let me know if not.

I know that you guys wished for some topics like a planche tutorial or a video about nutrition and I'll keep that in mind.

But that are all video that will take a lot of time and knowledge to create them so I don't want to make any promises about the time I'll upload them.

University will start soon here so I don't know how often I'll be able to upload but you'll see it anyways.

Thanls a lot for watching and as said again: make sure to check out the guys from the video and the cameraman Dorian.

Also check out my channel for other videos about Calisthenics. That's it, thanks and see you next time!

Free To Choose 1980 – The Tyranny of Control – Exchange Rate in the Economy - Duration: 2:09.

The usual argument against complete free trade

is that cheap labor from abroad will take jobs away

from workers at home.

Well...what is cheap?

A Japanese worker is paid in yen;

an American worker is paid in dollars.

How do we compare the yen with the dollar?

We need some way of transforming

the one into the other.

That is where the exchange rate enters in-

the price of yen in terms of the dollar.

Suppose, at some exchange rate, Japanese goods

are in general cheaper than American goods.

Then we will be buying much from

Japan and selling little to them.

But what will the Japanese do with

the extra dollars they earn?

They don't want to buy American goods.

By assumption, those are all dear.

They want to buy Japanese goods.

But to buy Japanese goods, they need yen.

Calls will come in from all over the world

to places like this, offering to buy yen for dollars.

But there will be more offers

to buy yen than to sell yen.

In order to get customers, those offering to buy

will have to raise the price.

The price of yen in terms of dollars will go up.

As you remember, that is what

happened in 1977 and 1978.

By late 1978, it took 50% more dollars to buy

a given amount of yen than it had taken a year earlier.

But what happens when the price

of the yen in terms of dollars goes up?

Japanese labor is no longer so cheap.

Japanese goods are no longer so

attractive to American consumers.

On the other hand, American labor

is no longer so dear to Japanese.

American goods are more attractive to the Japanese.

We will export more to them.

We will import less from them.

New jobs will be created in export industries

to replace any jobs that might have been

lost in industries competing with imports.

That is how a free market and foreign exchange

balances trade around the world.

when it is permitted to operate.

Exclusive interview with Ugandan MP Bobi Wine - Duration: 3:51.

They did unspeakable things to me.

They brutally arrested me,

beat me, tortured me,

abused me and left me for dead.

I'm even talking to you against my doctor's orders

because, to them, I'm supposed to be resting,

but, like I've always said, the fire that burns inside me

burns hotter than the fire that burns outside me.

So what are your plans?

As you said, the fire is still burning

and I'm sure the fire is burning on the other side as well,

so how are you going to deal with that?

I'm going to continue, most importantly, calling upon Ugandans,

especially the young people, to stand up for what they believe in,

to not give up, never to give up, to continue pushing

until they get the freedom and dignity that they deserve.

Ugandans have been tortured and killed for very many years.

It has been happening, it is happening and it will continue to happen

until we, as Ugandans, put an end to it.

- So are you planning to go back to Uganda?

Of course I'm going back to Uganda.

Uganda is my home; I don't have any other home.

That is where I was born and that is where I will be buried.

- Aren't you afraid to go back to Uganda?

I'm not afraid

because being here already is torture.

I'm away from my family, I'm away from my children

and I'm away from fellow Ugandans who were tortured.

I'm only lucky that I have the ability to come for specialised treatment.

But I'm not scared.

The ordeal that you narrated in length on your social media,

the authorities back in Uganda claim that it's fake

and even the crutches that you have are fake.

What do you have to say about that?

Does anybody get surprised when the authorities torture Ugandans and say it's fake?

I have nothing to say to them.

All I have to say is to the Ugandans, not to the authorities.

They're so drunk on power, they don't listen to nothing.

- So what exactly is your plan when you go back?

I'm going to continue the fight for freedom

and it is the fight that we must either win or die trying.

- You do realise that President Museveni has the police, has the army and everything else,

so how do you expect to win the fight that you're talking about?

The police and the army are supposed to be serving the people,

so it doesn't matter whether he has the police or the army;

we have the people of Uganda on our side.

- We all know that you're commonly known as

"The President of the Ghetto" in Uganda.

Do you want to be the president of Uganda?

It's not about me and it's not about being president.

We just want to be free.

I just want to live in a country that I'm proud of,

a country that makes sense to me and to every other Ugandan.

"The 12th Earl of Folgan

"urgently requests your presence at High Tea

"this very moment."

Stop!

Move! Move!

God! Sorry!

Okay, Okay.

Please, mademoiselle, don't do that.

- What? - Je m'appelle Hot Rod.

Christ alive, you're one of them!

Back! Be quiet! Do not hit me again!

So, which bloody bot are you, then?

Soundwave? Shockwave?

At least tell me that I've been abducted by one of the famous ones.

I am so much better than all of them!

Help! I'm being kidnapped!

Mademoiselle, sit down!

Help! Yes, yes, hello!

Hello, Lamborghini!

Would you help?

Sorry, l've just been kidnap... Nuts!

I love this car!

The White Cliffs of Dover.

That's a good girl. Good girl.

Good girl. Come on. There's a good girl.

We have guests!

What's the matter with you?

Shit! My bits are falling off.

Idiot!

Hello there!

What the hell?

- Good girl. - Master, he's a complete Knucklehead.

I'm awfully sorry about that, but you see,

he thinks it's still the year 1918 or 1914. Something like that.

So sad.

World War I and all that stuff.

I mean... Battle of the Marne, Battle of the Somme,

Battle of the Marne, Battle of Passchendaele.

Trenches and mud and death

and gore and all that. It's terribly sad.

"It's a long way to Tipperary, it's a long way to go."

Yeah, but it's... It's terrible!

I mean, so sad, you know? But then, I mean...

Isn't it? I mean, this late onset of, well...

Robot dementia.

It's not at all pretty.

I don't know what you're smoking in that pipe, man, but...

What's going on here?

Did you drag me to some Transformer retirement home?

Look, somebody better start talking, or I'm outta here.

Okay.

Bumblebee?

We only met when I was a little boy in short pants.

I must have been that tall.

Maybe taller. Or maybe shorter, I can't remember.

- But never forget a face. - Bee, you know this guy?

I don 't...with you.

Yes.

Let's have a look at this thing.

Please. Very interesting.

Yes.

You keep a secret for so long, knowing it to be true,

and yet, deep down inside,

you begin to wonder,

"Has my life been wasted?"

Have you ever felt like that, Mr. Cade?

It's just Cade.

Look, old timer, I don't have a ton of patience for riddles right now.

Yes, but you want to know, don't you, "dude",

why they keep coming here.

To Earth. Right?

I do so love perfect timing.

What a bitchin' car she is!

No, no, no, little lady.

Why do you have to be like that? Pourquoi?

So, is this a kidnapping sort of situation

or her first Transformer experience?

It's both, really.

Do not hit me again!

But she does have a rather nice fight-or-flight response.

She's very difficult.

This is Battlefield 5 Nvidia - Duration: 6:15.

Welcome to Battlefield V.

This is World War 2 like you've never seen or played before.

Multiplayer.

Single Player.

Battle Royale.

And our new post-launch journey for all players, Tides of War,

that will keep you and your squad playing well into the future.

Multiplayer will deliver all out warfare

with unrivaled intensity and scale across eight multiplayer modes.

Fan favorites like Frontlines and Conquest return,

loaded with new options to increase tactical gameplay.

Then, there's Grand Operations.

Inspired by historical battles,

spanning multiple maps and modes, across up to four in-game days.

Parachute into the middle of a conflict in Airborne.

Then establish a forward front with Breakthrough.

And make one last push through to the Final Stand.

But that's not all.

Welcome to Firestorm.

We've reimagined Battle Royale for Battlefield,

where sixteen teams of four fight it out to become the last squad standing

in the largest Battlefield map ever.

A sandbox filled with destructible buildings, weaponry and vehicles.

This is Royale, done the Battlefield way.

Back! This way!

All of this multiplayer mayhem takes place in the era

where it all began for us at DICE: World War 2.

At launch, you will fight in 8 unexplored settings of mankind's greatest conflict.

Take part in one of the biggest tank battles in human history in North Africa.

Air drop into the freezing landscapes of Norway.

Engage in brutal close-quarter combat among the bridges and canals of Rotterdam.

And join the struggle in the fields and marshlands of the French countryside,

opening up all new Only in Battlefield moments.

It's not only about what and where you'll play, but how.

We've added all-new core gameplay changes to the classic Battlefield formula.

Deeper squad play, fluid player movement, better gun mechanics,

and more ways for you to not only destroy, but also build your surroundings.

Your squad is more important than ever.

Stay close.

Communicate and coordinate to take down your enemies and play the objective.

Call in various reinforcements to turn the tide of the battle.

From a V1 rocket to supply drops.

Or the mighty Crocodile, a devastating flame throwing tank.

Movement has been revamped to give you unprecedented mobility.

Backpedal while firing when you're upright or on your back

so you always stay in the fight.

Jump and smash through windows.

Send grenades back where they came.

Or shoot them out of mid-air.

Sprint while crouching to avoid sniper fire, moving faster cover to cover.

Seek out new terrain with combat vaulting,

or slide sideways into a room to surprise the enemy.

In Battlefield 5, gunplay has been re-engineered to provide greater control and precision.

Master weapons with more predictible recoil and spray patterns.

Destruction is now more dynamic than ever.

Blowing up a house from the inside cracks walls and send debris flying outwards.

Can't flush the enemy out? Keep firing and rip through walls with high caliber rounds.

Or, take Take a tank right through the building and destroy it.

Just as important as destruction will be building.

Shape and re-shape the battlefield with the new Fortifications system.

Every soldier is equipped with a toolbox and can build fortifications in specific areas.

Dig foxholes, lay down sandbags, build bridges, barbed wire, tank stoppers, and more.

Reinforce buildings that have been destroyed,

create chokepoints to gain the advantage,

even open up new routes to flank opponents.

In single player, the anthology-format War Stories makes a triumphant return.

Experience untold stories of World War 2.

In Nordlys, set during the German occupation of Norway,

a young resistance member fights not only for her countries liberation,

but her family's survival.

And within Under no flag, a young British criminal

has the chance to use his unique set of skills behind enemy lines in North Africa.

These are just a few examples of the unheard stories that Battlefield Five has to offer.

And Launch will only be the beginning.

With the Tides of War, we're taking you on a free journey through World War 2,

open to all Battlefield 5 players.

No more Premium Pass.

And it all starts right after launch with our first themed Chapter: The Fall of Europe.

Drop into the European fronts of France,

spanning several months it will be filled with events and new content daily and weekly.

With new ways to play you'll constantly adapt your Company

with new weapons, gadgets, fortifications and combat roles.

Then in early 2019,

Chapter 2 will see the resistance rise up to take on the Axis threat

and the debut of a new location in Greece.

In future Chapters, you'll venture further into World War 2

heading to new theaters of war and an evolving Battlefield 5.

And most importantly, this is a journey everyone will embark on together.

That keeps getting bigger, and bigger.

And join us when Battlefield V launches in a few short months on November 20th.

This is Battlefield V.
