Charlie has less girlfriends than Harry

oh that's sad it's true Charlie has less

girlfriends than Harry well that's an

obvious one isn't it any mistakes there

no let's put London to the test with a

grammar test let's go

[Music]

Isabella yes

I'm going to show you a sentence okay

and it may have a grammar mistake it may not

I'd like you to correct the sentence if

you think there is a mistake okay you

should have been that okay is that correct

the aim of this is to make me look really stupid isn't it

no not at all not at all

thank you very much you should have been there

I would say

you should have been there

can you read it out loud you should have been there

no you should of

you should of been there should of been there okay

can you go ahead and correct it if it needs correcting

all right thank you very much

so they all got this right but this is

actually a really really common

orthographical error amongst native speakers in English

but why do native

speakers commit this error the reason is

because the pronunciation of the

contracted form of the auxiliary verb

have is pronounced exactly the same as

the word of in connected speech

for example instead of going out last night

you should've stayed in instead of

going out last night you should've

stayed in əv əv əv

so in connected speech the of

changes to əv and likewise with the

contracted version of the auxiliary verb have

that changes from av to əv əv using the schwa again

so then when we go to write words

like should've would've and could've

sometimes native speakers get confused

and they write should of would of could of

it's clear that a zebra can't change its stripes

it's clear that a zebra can't change its stripes

is there a mistake in this one

yes go ahead do okay

we're just going to take a quick break

to tell you about our amazing immersion courses

good morning students good morning teachers

have you ever wanted to immerse yourself

in English and truly bring your studies to life

well now you can come and live with your

teachers in a gorgeous house

improve your English skills gain a ton of

confidence have lessons every day be

taken to some of the most beautiful

places in England eat some great food

and be given group activities to help

you bond for a lifetime with your fellow

classmates this is a language course

like no other but we have limited

availability so act now if you'd like a

place our course dates are in the

description box and you can head over to

our website for further details back to the video

err so first off it's like that it's clear that a zebra can't zebra can't change

is there a correction to be made yes

all right go ahead

I think that's correct I well done man perfect

yeah very good well done Isabella

because it is is grammatically correct so you put the apostrophe there to change it from it is to it's

now you might be thinking this is quite an easy sentence

to correct but actually for lots of native

speakers it's quite difficult and

you might have noticed that some of our

participants in this video did actually

find it quite tricky when it came to

this second its

so we put this in to try

to confuse people because often people

incorrectly put an apostrophe before the

S thinking that the possessive adjective

requires an apostrophe but of course it

doesn't now why do they think this it's

because when it comes to singular nouns and we're talking about possession

we need to use an apostrophe

for example this is Charlie's whiteboard

the girl's bike the president's suit and

then what people do is they incorrectly

apply this possessive apostrophe to the

third-person non gender-specific

possessive adjective like this the

zebra hated its stripes but of course it

should be it's without the apostrophe

the same thing occurs as well with 'whose'

people often put the apostrophe before

the S incorrectly but it should be who's like this

Charlie has less girlfriends in Harry. Charlie has less girlfriends than Harry.

Oh that's sad! it's true. Charlie has less girlfriends

than Harry. Well that's an obvious one isn't it?

Charlie has a less girlfriends than Harry

Any mistakes there? No

Is there a correction to be made? And if so, go ahead! No

May I correct it? All right, going over to the other side

no no no than is a...don't do it! Had less..wait!

No you can do it in present, has less than 'cos you're comparing! 'Than' we're gonna keep it 'charlie has less gfs than Harry

no mistakes unless you spell Charlie a

different way. Ha ha yeah. Or you could say not

as many if you wanted to do that. Assuming

Harry has any girlfriends. Good question, does he?

He's good looking enough.. ha ha

there we go

it should be fewer girlfriends than Harry

okay. And I think the apostrophe's

wrong too isn't it? Yes the apostrophe should

be there 'cos it's plural and that should be fewer

it's like the Sainsbury's queue isn't it?

five items or less

they've changed it now to five items or

fewer there we have it Sainsbury's even

make the mistake as do many natives the

correction should be fewer and it's

because girlfriends is accountable

Charlie has fewer girlfriends than Harry

I'm the monogamous of the two and of

course we had an apostrophe over here

that needs to be removed because it's just the plural of girlfriend

And of course we do not need an apostrophe for plurals

now do we? We're not mental! That's

all for today but thanks for watching

and we hope you have found this both

useful and entertaining if you're a

native English speaker please comment

below if you make any of these mistakes

and if you're an English Learner we hope

this video reassures you that it's okay

to make mistakes if native speakers do

it why shouldn't you please give us a

thumbs up if you want to see part two of

this grammar test and see you again soon

for another video

4 TIPS for how to create a travel video🌴🌇🍹 - Duration: 8:35.

Hello there!

Daria here.

Welcome back to the Movavi Vlog!

Guys, can anyone tell me why summer's come to an end so quickly?

This summer the Movavi Team managed to do a lot of things!

We've tried to fly a quadcopter, shoot a wedding invitation, play with an action camera

while filming a first-person video, make a DIY tutorial… but even with all that, the

summer has seemed too short for me.

Now we have lots of sweet memories and fabulous footage.

For example, Roman, a friend of mine, spent his vacation in the Thai jungles...

I'm jealous-jealous-jealous!

...and created a short video about his journey.

Wanna learn how cool it was and get as green with envy as I was?

Let's take a look!

It's sooooo amazing!

Well, when I go on vacation, I'll take my camera and make an even better travel video

than Roman did.

It's not as hard as it might seem.

Travel videos are perfect for sharing on social media and, of course, it's always fun to

watch them over and over again.

Whether you've stored a load of summer holiday footage on your camera or you're just planning

your trip, creating a travel video is the best way to save your memories.

And I'll show you how!

First, decide ahead of time which device you'll be using to shoot your footage.

A late-model smartphone is a good option for filming short travel videos because it's

small and always within reach, so you have the opportunity to capture many interesting

things going on around you.

Those of you who watched our example probably noticed that Roman used an action camera instead

of his cell phone.

That's because an action camera is the perfect choice for a travel video, especially if you're

shooting somewhere where you can easily break your phone or drown it in the sea.

Unlike the cell phone, the action camera provides a wide-angle view and you can easily mount

it using any kind of harness.

For example, a chest harness helps to create the impression of being right there.

A camera held with a selfie-stick gives you a huge crowd in the frame.

If you want your video to be really engaging, try to tell a story with all the actions in

the right order.

That's why you should think about what footage you need to avoid winding up with missing

pieces when you come to do the montage.

What to shoot…

You know, I'd like to start with a list of things that should NOT be shot.

So, here they are... sleepy faces, people eating meals, boarding passes, every bus,

every station, every waiting room, every snack you had on the road.

A travel video isn't a report for your accounts department.

Don't be a "this guy" who bothers everyone with their camera.

It's the waste of battery charge and your camera's memory card.

Try to shoot only the footage you'll use in your montage.

Let's say I'm going to travel with my boyfriend, who hates to be filmed or have

his picture taken.

What should I do?

The right answer is to leave him alone.

Be patient and don't annoy your companion.

Wait until the final days of your vacation, let them relax, then ask them to be in one

shot in a beautiful spot.

It'll be enough to make your montage.

But don't fall into the trap of totally avoiding people in the frame because travel

videos without people will remind your audience of the most boring documentaries.

It's YOUR journey so your family would rather see YOU!

Feel free to shoot video-selfies, footage with your travel companions or even the locals

(if they're okay with it, of course).

If you're a loyal subscriber to the Movavi Vlog, you know what type of shots there are

and what you should use.

If you missed the episode on how to combine shots I'll leave the link in the description.

I bet your travel video will contain a number of long or even wide shots.

It's okay to choose these types of shots to show off the landscape or various sights.

My advice is to try not to limit yourself with them.

Add some medium shots and close-ups to show the details of, for example, sculptures on

a beautiful facade, flowers, delicious food, or local language signs.

Did you notice the variety of shots in Roman's video?

This dog.

Or close-up of a boat.

Or a bike?

If you're not experienced with shooting video, try not to film while you're walking.

Take a minute to choose the best shot, think about the composition of the frame and then

shoot a static image for 5 or 6 seconds.

And one more tip.

Record some short audio notes on where you are, what you're doing and what's going

on.

Even if the background music is the only sound in your video, your audio notes will come

in handy when you start to create the montage.

Let's open up our video editor.

I prefer to use the Movavi Video Editor to get this done.

Don't attempt to show everything in your video.

Choose the most evocative moments, 2-4 seconds long for each.

Fast montage with background music is perfect for travel videos.

I recommend you pick music that matches your mood and then make your montage following

the rhythm of the music.

It'll be really cool!

But don't forget to mute the original sound.

Use transitions to divide your video into logical parts.

For example, these are from the Travel Set in the Movavi Effects Store.

They're made specifically for use with Movavi Video Editor.

As a rule, a travel video can be split up to highlight different elements of your journey:

your hotel check-in, relaxing on the beach, sightseeing, watching an amazing dance show,

and so on.

Add some text to your video.

Start with a title.

Did you notice that a special shot was chosen for the beginning?

The plane wing is on the left side and the blank space in the center is perfect for title

placement.

You can also use text for the names of local dishes or new points of your route.

And now you know how to make a great travel video with a selection of vacation clips.

I'm dying to learn where you've been and what you've filmed there.

That's why I want to announce our latest video contest.

Publish your own travel video on YouTube or other social media, include "Made in Movavi"

in the title, and leave the link in your comment below.

Next month, I'll choose three winners who'll receive free Movavi Effects Sets as our gift.

You might find our recent episodes on how to shoot a first-person video and combine

different types of shots really useful for your travel video.

#1 Limitation To Achieving Success - Duration: 28:31.

TERRI: Have you seen those dog leashes that just let you

go so far, and then they pull the dog back? Well I want

to talk to you about the number one thing that's

pulling you back from living your dreams.

(Music)

TERRI: Hey, I'm Terri Savelle Foy, and you're watching

Live Your Dreams. I pray that as you invest in

yourself today, you're captivated and you're catapulted

to live your dreams. I heard a story that Dr. Norman Vincent

Peale told years ago about these American sailors who were

visiting a port in China. They said when they got off the boat,

they walked up and saw this tattoo parlor. When they saw the

parlor, they saw all these different tattoos displayed in

the window. Well, one of the tattoos read, "Born to lose."

They were shocked. They thought, "Do people seriously get that

tattoo, 'Born to lose?'" They walked inside to ask the man if

it was for real. They asked this man and in broken English this

Chinese man said, "Yes." He said, "Before tattooed on body,

tattooed on mind." What a powerful statement. I mean,

think about it, the power of your thoughts. In fact, Proverbs

23:7 says, "Whatever a man thinks in his heart, so does he

become." So what you think about, you bring about. Well,

today I want to talk to you about the number one limitation

to you achieving success, or living your dreams, or reaching

your goals. That is small thinking, negative thinking. You

know, nothing limits you more in your life than your thoughts,

than what's going on right here? In fact, God is moved or he is

limited by our thinking. Did you know that it's that powerful

that you can actually be limiting God by having small

thoughts? Well, how in the world do you start removing

limitations, changing mindset that maybe you've had for 20,

30, 40 years of your life? How do you change that? Well, I'm

just going to share with you what God taught me, and in one

word, God just kept putting this word on my heart, over and over

I kept hearing this, and it was the word, "Audacity." Now,

usually when we hear the word, "Audacity," we think of it kind

of in a negative way, like people will say, "Look at the

audacity." Or, they'll say, "The audacity of you to say something

like that," or whatever. Well, do you know that God wants you

to develop audacity? That word actually means the nerve, the

courage, the boldness, the fearlessness, even the grit.

Well, I want you to get that kind of audacity in your life to

believe bigger, to believe that God has more for your life. I

want people to even say to you, "You seriously have the audacity

to think that that can happen?" And you say, "Yes. That's

exactly what I have." In other words, it's things like this,

instead of just believing God to put gas in your car, have the

audacity to pay the car off. That's audacity, isn't it? Or,

instead of just believing God for a two dollar raise at the

office, believe for a major promotion in the company. That

takes audacity, doesn't it? Or, you could say it like this.

Instead of having, "Oh man, I'm just believing to pay off one of

my credit cards." No, have the audacity to be completely debt

free. That's some serious nerve, isn't it? Some courage? Well,

that's what God wants us to have. He doesn't want us to just

exist in life to just barely make it, to barely get by. He

wants you to have the kind of faith that believes what's

impossible with man is possible with God. That's the kind of

faith He wants you to have. But it doesn't happen by accident.

It happens strategically, and with an intentional plan. I'm

going to show you how to do that because I'm just going to share

what God has taught me, in very practical terms, on how to build

that kind of audacity. Well, I was listening to Andrew Wommack,

and he was talking about how, I don't know, for 20, maybe 30

years, he pastored small little churches he said all over Texas.

He said he never grew above 100 people. Then he said this,

"Everything was a struggle, everything. Bill collectors were

calling. Collection agencies were calling." He said

everything was a financial struggle. Well, then he said

this, that in 2001 he had an encounter with the Lord that

changed his life. Now, listen to what the Lord shared with him.

He said, "You have limited me by your small thinking. You have

limited God with your small thinking." Then he took him to

Psalm 78 verse 41 and listen to what it says. "They turned back

and tempted God and limited the Holy One of Israel." Think about

that. We have the ability to limit God in what he wants to do

in our lives by the way we think. Well, he said that moment

was one of the most life-transforming moments of his

entire life. He said the vast majority of people never reach

their full potential because of small thinking. Well, you know,

that's why people watch a show like Jerry Springer. I mean, you

watch a show like that and you think, "I'm not doing so bad

after all. I'm actually doing pretty good." Well yeah, after

watching that debacle, but God has so much more for your life.

He's saying, "Come on. Take the limitations off. I want to do

more in your life." Well, that's what God was trying to get

across to Andrew Wommack, so he said, after that encounter with

the Lord, he said, "I brought my staff together and I just said

to them," he said, "I've got to repent to all of you." He said,

"I've never even shared my real vision with you because I've

been insecure," he said, "You know, I just was doubting what

God could do in my life. I've been afraid, I've limited God."

Then he said this. He said, "I don't know how long it's going

to take to change the image that I have on the inside, but I'm

going to start believing in my vision." He said within one week

his whole life and ministry began to shift and change in a

new direction. He said his finances began to change

instantly. Everything around him began to grow. Now, listen to

some of these statistics. I think this is amazing, and I'm

only sharing this publicly because he does. But he said in

2001, he had 25 thousand people contacting his ministry for the

whole year. Today, more than 30 thousand people per month. In

2001, he said the annual revenue for the ministry was 2.5 million

dollars. Today, more than 3 million per month. That's some

significant growth. He said, "In 2001, we had 30 employees

working at the ministry. Today, 330 employees." Then he said

this. "Back then," he said, "I had about 700 people attending

my Bible schools. Today, more than 7 thousand people attending

Bible schools all across the globe." Now, listen to this

statement. He said, "I changed my thinking and everything

around me began to grow." Everything around him began to

change. Well, you know, God's no respecter of persons. What

he's done for Andrew Wommack, he can do for you. What he's done

in my life, he can do for you. Well, my first step that I want

to share with you today is you have to have the audacity to

think bigger. That's how I got started. You have to see

yourself changing on the inside, in your thought life, before

it's ever going to show up on the outside. Of course, that's

easy to say, and I'm sure you've heard this from 100 ministers.

But how do you get started? How do you really and truly take a

message like that, make it practical, and say, "I can do

this." Well, I'm glad you asked, because I'm going to show you

what the Lord showed me. We know the Bible actually says, "Be

transformed by the renewing of your mind." That's how you're

transformed is by renewing your mind. Well, how do you renew

your mind? By the Word of God, by hearing the Word of God. This

is how I began. Back in 2002, I just started with a simple dose

every day. I got a CD player, I invested in some new CDs, I

wrote a Post-It note, put it on my mirror, that said, "Push

play." Now, heres the thing. You know the Bible says, "Faith

comes by hearing." So every time you hear the Word of God, faith

comes. That doesn't even take much effort. You just push play,

and faith comes. Well, as I began making this a part of my

daily routine, not just on Sunday, because for most of my

life it was just a Sunday morning thing. I'd go hear a

preacher, and then go about the rest of my life. But when I

said, "You know what? I've got to have some major changes in my

life," finally I even began to think about my life instead of

just being on autopilot year, after year, after year, like a

robot, repeating the same actions from one year to the

next with no change. Finally, I said, "Something's got to

change." Well, it wasn't everything around me that was

going to change. It was me that had to change. I started

learning things. Like psychologists say, if you do

something consistently for 21 days, you can break an old habit

and start a new one. So I said, "Okay, I'm going to make myself

listen to one message, every day, for 21 days." Well, the

more I began to hear, the more I wanted to hear, the more I began

investing in myself. Then, I would start ordering messages

from other people. I got so hungry for knowledge, for

wisdom. See, the thing is, God has so much more for your life,

but you have to receive it. That's how I started receiving

it was by starting this quest of making myself hear

faith-building messages. Well, like I said, God has more for

you, but it's up to your ability to take it in, to receive it. It

makes me think about my Grandpa Creech. Actually years ago, my

Grandpa Creech was visiting us from Shreveport,

Louisiana, and he came to Fort Worth. At that time in

Grandpa's life, he had this little oxygen tank. that he

had to carry with him. He had these little tubes

connected to the tank. Grandpa's sitting in the den.

He's breathing through his little oxygen tank and we're all

laughing and telling stories and having such a good time. Grandma

and grandpa are in town. All of a sudden, grandpa started

gasping for air and he's breathing really hard. What was

the problem? Was there not enough oxygen in the room? Was

there not enough air in the room? No, there was plenty of

oxygen. Everybody else was breathing just fine. It was

grandpa's inability to receive it. The oxygen was there. It was

available, but it was his inability to take in what was

available. See, it's the same with God and with you and me.

God has so much more for our lives. Stuff we haven't even

fathomed yet. He wants you to receive it. He wants you to take

it all in but it's up to you and your ability to take in what's

being offered. That starts by making yourself hear the Word of

God consistently. Get on a quest to develop this success habit of

just push-play. In fact, do you know, I didn't have anybody come

to my house and this was back in 2002 and my life was falling

apart. I had no dreams, no goals. I never dreamed I'd be

doing what I'm doing today. I was just in a rut of just

repeating everything year after year. I just started this simple

habit of push-play. I never knew that this was one of the habits

of the most successful people in the world in all industries, not

just preachers. I'm talking about even the astronauts who

went to the moon and back. They found it helpful to listen to

motivational teaching on their way into space. The most

successful people in the world used their drive time to build

their faith, to learn, to gain wisdom, to grow. I thought,

"Well guys, if other people can do this, I can do this and so

can you." I want to challenge you. I don't believe you're

watching by accident or by coincidence. I believe God is

saying, "You know what? Let's kick it up a notch. Let's start

some new habits and new disciplines because I want you

to build audacity like never before." To believe in yourself,

to believe for impossible dreams like paying off that debt.

Losing that weight. Seeing that marriage restored. Launching

that ministry. Starting your own business. Being the number one

realtor in your city. God wants you to have that kind of

audacity but it doesn't happen by accident. It happens with

intentional effort. When we come back, I want to share with you

something I never knew for years that every successful person

seems to practice and achieve results. I'll be right back.

bigger, to think bigger, to dream bigger and to believe

that God has more for your life. The key is, you have to see it

on the inside before it ever shows up on the outside. I heard

this story about this Australian sailing team. This was years

ago, like back in the 80's. The Australians had never won the

America's Cup. The coach, he had heard about this technique

called visualization. Now, a lot of people practice this,

successful people, athletes, CEO's, Olympians, they practice

visualization. He said, "You know, I'm going to practice this

with my team." They've never beat the Americans. They've

always come up short. He went out and got a cassette tape and

had a narration made of the Australian team beating the

American team. He had it professionally narrated. Had all

these sound effects and enthusiasm. You would hear

things like, "We're going around the last buoy. We're gaining

ground. We're sliding right past the Americans." Like I said, he

had these sound effects of the wind, the waves. The crowd

cheering and then they would yell, "And the Australians have

won the America's Cup." The crowd roars and everything. This

tape went on for about twenty minutes. This is back in 1983.

They would imagine themselves beating the Americans. He said

he made his team listen to this tape every day, twice a day for

three years. Now that's intense. Every day, twice a day for three

solid years. They said, when they finally went to race the

Americans, it's time for the America's Cup race, their

attitude was so different than it had ever been before. Their

whole mindset was, "Not them again? How many times do we have

to beat these guys?" He said their attitudes were so

different. Of course, they sailed right past them and won

the America's Cup. My point is, they had to see it on the inside

before it ever showed up on the outside. That's visualization.

I've discovered, this success trait seems to be practiced by

ministers, Olympians, CEO's, professional athletes and it's

this. Have the audacity to visualize your future. In fact,

Oral Roberts used to preach messages on this. Every

successful person practices visualization. I never knew

this. Now, I did know that God has given us two types of sight.

He's given us spiritual sight and physical sight. Of course,

physical sight is just what everybody sees. But spiritual

sight is when you see things on the inside that nobody else can

see. You're seeing with the eye of faith. In other words, that's

like seeing yourself, going online to your personal checking

account and paying off that debt. I mean, really, close your

eyes and imagine yourself logging into your account paying

off that entire debt. Or actually, see yourself walking

into a bookstore and seeing your books on the shelf. You got to

see that on the inside before it ever shows up on the outside.

See yourself carrying that baby. Maybe you've had two

miscarriages. They've told you, you can't be pregnant. You got

to imagine yourself conceiving that baby, carrying that baby

and holding that baby. See yourself happily married and

that God can restore a broken relationship. See yourself

holding hands with your husband or wife walking down the beach

with the sand in your toes. I don't have to get all mushy, but

see yourself having your own ministry or your own business.

Or maybe on the mission field. Now doing this takes audacity

doesn't it? That's exactly what God wants you to have. He wants

you to have the audacity to give yourself permission to dream and

to believe it can really happen. I can't help but think about my

dad Jerry Savelle. How, he says when he first felt called to

preach, nobody's asking him to preach. He didn't have an

itinerary. He didn't have a website back in 1969. He said

nobody's asking him to preach, but he had the dream on the

inside of him. The Lord actually told him to go in his guest

bedroom, in his little house in Shreveport, Louisiana and just

imagine himself preaching to thousands of people. The Lord

told him, "I want you to close your eyes and pray for the

people who, one day, will hear you preach." Dad said he felt

ridiculous going in the guest bedroom, closing his eyes, but

he did it. He obeyed God. He said, "When I stood in that

room. I didn't see a bed, a dresser, a nightstand." He said,

"I saw the faces of thousands of people." My dad has preached to

as many as fifty thousand people in Nigeria. But it all started

in that guest bedroom in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1969

when nobody was asking him to preach. That's visualization.

That's seeing with the eye of faith. You can't just arrive at

success without seeing something beforehand. Even Jack Nicklaus,

the legendary golfer, this is what he said. He said, "I have

never hit a shot, not even in practice without having a very

sharp, in-focus picture of it in my head." He visualizes himself

hitting the ball before he ever swings the club. I heard John

Maxwell say, he said, "One night I had dinner with a guy in

Dallas who was an architect," and he said to him, "If you're

an architect, you can't even start building a project until

you finished it." They have to create the whole thing to

completion on paper before they ever pick up a hammer and nail

right? That's what we need to do. You need to imagine yourself

succeeding in the area that God's speaking to you about.

It's kind of like this puzzle. If someone handed you this

puzzle and just said, "Here, put it together." You don't even

know what this is. You don't know if this is an airplane, if

it's the Eiffel Tower, an elephant, a piano. You have no

idea what this is until you see the finished product. Once you

see how it's supposed to end, then you can start taking steps

to put it together. See, it's the same with our lives. When

you start giving yourself permission to dream,

and you imagine yourself living that dream, then

you can start taking steps towards it. I had

never done anything like this before, ever. Never

even knew I was supposed to really. Finally I had the

audacity to dream, to visualize myself living my dreams and I

had no idea how it would ever happen. Keep in mind the number

one question that will stop you from living your dreams is

asking how. If you sit around all day long saying, "How can I

do this, how could I ever pay that off, how could I become the

number one realtor, how could I lose that weight, how could I

ever see this marriage restored?" Then you're

going to talk yourself out of the will of God

for your life. For me I couldn't just sit around

visualizing all day long, I had to start taking action.

I had to gain wisdom in the area to pursue those dreams.

The Bible actually says study to show yourself approved. I

thought my years of studying were over when I finished

college and for 11 years I never picked up another book. Finally

after 11 years of being miserable and I wish somebody

had come along and given me like a checklist

of things to study, but I had just had to start

one day with one CD. Just one day with one

CD. Also I had to start making myself read books. Now I was not

a reader, at all. In fact, the only books I ever read outside

of mandatory college books was the Dallas Cowboy cheerleader

manual and a book about gymnastics. Well I've never done

this before but so many people have been asking me what are the

top books that you recommend to kinda get started developing a

successful mindset or developing new habits in your life. I put

that together with the package this week, it's my top ten books

that I highly recommend. I'm telling you they have

drastically changed my life. Like I said, I was never a

reader, ever. When I began to discover that 88% of the

wealthiest people in the world read 30 minutes or more every

single day, I thought okay I'm going to make myself start doing

this. I couldn't even start with 30 minutes, I had to start with

20 minutes. Well these are the books that have helped me the

most, especially in the areas of beginning to develop discipline

and good habits, how to manage my time I was so stressed out,

how to get control of my money, Rodney and I were spending

everything that we made, we had to learn to spend less, save

more. So anyway I listed all these books. Well

when you think about how important this is,

that you start giving yourself permission to dream.

Let me just remind you of something in Jeremiah verse 1.

God said to Jeremiah, he said, "Jeremiah what do you see?"

Jeremiah answered him, he said, "I see a branch. I see an almond

tree blossoming in late winter symbolizing alertness and

activity." The next verse says the Lord said to him, "You've

seen well." Then he said, "I'm active and alert watching over

my Word to perform it." To perform what? What Jeremiah saw.

Then the Lord came back a second time, he said, "Jeremiah what do

you see?" What if Jeremiah had said, "nothing"? If you see

nothing in your future you can expect nothing. What if God

asked you today, "What do you see in your future? What do you

want me to do, tell me because I'm watching over my Word to

perform it but I need to know what you see? Do you see

yourself debt free?" You say, "No." "Okay then I can't do it."

We're limiting God by our thinking. We're the ones putting

limitations on God. He's saying remove the limitations, let me

know what you see. In fact, Yonggi Cho, who he pastored the

largest church in the world, he wrote a whole book on the

importance of visualization and he said in the first few years

of preaching he would literally stand behind the podium and

preach with his eyes closed because he said, "In my spirit I

saw hundreds of thousands of people, I didn't see three."

Well you gotta get to that place in your life where God says,

'What do you see?" You say, "Lord I see myself debt free.

Lord I see myself preaching the gospel. I see myself writing

books and helping change lives. I see myself having my own

girls' home and safe houses to rescue girls from human

tracking." You gotta see it on the inside before it ever shows

up on the outside. This week I'm so excited about the package

that we've put together. This was a teaching I did called

Audacity. This was based on something the Lord put on my

heart that I had to start developing the audacity to

believe in myself. You know you can't wait for other people to

come along, encourage you, motivate you. I hate to tell you

but Joyce Meyer isn't going to show up your front door and say,

"Come let's do this." I wish I could show up and cheer you on

but you have to learn to become your own best cheerleader. I had

to do that. The Lord showed me how to do that, how to start

believing in myself like never before. Then I taught seven

different keys that I've learned in my life and I know it's going

to help you. One of them is on audacity to step out of your

comfort zone. I heard this statement, it said, "Comfort and

convenience run the lives of unsuccessful people." I was

like, ouch, but I don't like being uncomfortable. I've

discovered if you want to move on with God, if you want to do

what he's put in your heart to do, it's going to require some

discomfort. Now a lot of times people miss out on what God has

because they'll say, "I just don't have peace about it." You

know what, I doubt Peter had peace when Jesus said, "Come,

walk on the water." He had to step out of his comfort zone and

just go for it. I'm going to teach you how to build your

courage and confidence to step out and do those things that

used to scare you, you're going to say, "Come on, bring it on.

I've got audacity like never before." Then we put my top ten

books but then also I wanted to add this to the package this

week, this is a single message I taught called Ask. Did you know

there are certain things you could be missing out on in your

life simply because you haven't asked. You know the Bible says

you have not because you ask not? What could you be missing

out on? Now you're going to love this message, I'm going teach

you about things like discounts, scholarships, loans reduced,

hospital bills canceled. I've got so many stories of people

who've applied this teaching and they have saved so much money

simply because they asked. The Bible says ask and you shall

receive. I want you to get that special package this week,

Audacity, Ask, and my list of top ten books to help you get

started changing the way you're thinking. You got to change on

the inside before it shows up on the outside. I'm so glad you're

watching today, I can't wait for you to get this, listen to it

and then share your stories with me. Don't forget, don't look at

the years you've lost, look at the years you've got

left and start living your dreams. God's speaking to

you today, this isn't for everybody else but

you. I believe God is saying, "Come on

let's get some audacity." Thank you for watching.

Figure of 8 Hitch - The Knot Used When Dipping/Making Candles - Slipped Figure of Eight Hitch - Duration: 5:06.

the figure of eight hitch hello

everybody welcome back and this is where

we are today today's little exercise is

we are going to do the figure of eight

hitch and this is what actually says

about the figure of eight hitch so as

you can see I'm on Ashley's book of

knots page two nine zero and the knot

we're going to be looking at is the

figure of eight hitch which is more

secure than the half hitch particularly

if the encompassed object is small gosh

I found that hard to read and then what

we're going to do is we're going to look

at the slipped hitch as well which is

one six six seven and the above not

slipped was formally tied in wicks and

used for candle dipping anyway having

played around with this hitch for a bit

I have found it to be it's a fairly

secure hitch I mean the other thing is

it's not to be used for critical lifting

etc so obviously the idea of using it to

dip candles which are I'll attempt to do

a demonstration later on so yeah not for

critical loads but as you can see on the

right-hand side here I have a slip

version and if I just pull on that it

quickly and easily comes undone and on

the left-hand side slightly more

difficult when loads been on it but you

can still undo it fairly easy but like I

said not for critical loads so anyway

without further ado let's get on and

let's get nothing right so let's go

ahead and tie this and to tie this is

really really simple and what I'm doing

now is I'm - so the green end is my

working end I'm passing the green end

around my stanchion and then once I've

passed it around my stanchion I past the

working end underneath the standing end

and then when I do this I bring it over

the standing end this time and just

bring it back up and tuck it underneath

that turn

going around our stanchion and then pull

up nice and tight and then as I pull up

on that that is nice and tight and to be

honest that particular knot isn't going

anywhere but the problem is that with

regards to this knot if things are

allowed to jiggle about a bit you can

see here not a very scientific test but

it quite easily does come free and one

thing I've also found with this as well

is if you really swing off it that it

can sometimes it can jam up and cause it

to be difficult to undo and that's

probably where the slip version comes in

so let's go ahead now and tie the slip

version so the slip version is once

again around the back of my object so

we've got to turn there around my object

and the next thing I want a little bit

more cordage at this time because we've

got to put a slip in it I then take it

underneath my standing end bring it

around

over my standing end and this time we

form a Bight just form a Bight there and

then pass that bite underneath the term

just there and there we have it we have

one in number figure of eight that is

slipped figure of eight hitch that is

slit and so now if you could imagine

this was our wick to our candle what we

would be doing is just dipping it into

the candle wax lifting it out again

letting the candle wax set tell me some

of you on here may you do this as a

hobby tell me do you use this knot for

dipping your candle custom so do ya so

that's the whole idea you dip it in your

candles bring it back up and gradually

your layers of wax form like that on the

outside and that's how you end up with a

candle on there and that's also why you

see them with a taper because you don't

always dip into the same length and so

you're just constantly dipping then when

you've dipped your candle what you do is

you get hold of the Slipknot undo it and

you can see fairly easy to undo and

you've now made

one in number candle I'm sure the

process is more complex than that so

anyway once again thanks very much for

watching see you again next time

and please do leave me a comment down

below if you've got anything to do with

making candles etc always love to hear

these stories take care of em bye bye

you

Behind the Game - Episode 15 NEW - Duration: 20:11.

Previously on Behind the Game

Do you think it's exciting?

The power to interact with the beings of the beyond.

Feel what they feel

Is that why we're here?

Do you try to communicate with someone dead?

I distract him. You go and put it in his locker

I want to report a kidnapping

Tell me the name of the victim

Osana Najimi

Your friend left a farewell letter. I understand that you are upset, but there is evidence that she escaped from the city

I only ask you to examine this note

I'm just asking you to prove that she was really kidnapped

We will investigate the letter.

We will call you if we find something

Where is the letter that you say that she left you?

one of those policemen destroyed it

Please, help me

Did you talk about this with someone else? Did anyone know that today you would come here?

I'm sorry I lied. I was selfish to get you away from her.

I forgive you. After all you're my best friend

and friends forgive each other

Meet with a person to meet us.

He asked me not to talk about this with anyone.

Please do not tell anyone what I plan to do

I'm starting to think you leaves the window open waiting for me to come in and give you the good morning.

Have you seen anything strange on Oka Ruto?

Be more specific.

No matter...

Well... I have good news and a bad one.

The good is that Taro and I return to be friends

as ordered by my princess.

The bad news is, I went to his house yesterday.

He said he won't go on the excursion to meet a detective who will help...

find you.

Senpai wants to find out who I am.

I have to find who to blame for all this...

The girl who was arrested by Kizana...

what was her name?

The one that Kizana treated like his slave?

I don't know.

You should ask Info Chan.

I'm not going to ask Info Chan for help.

Why not? You always do.

Are you upset with her?

Well...

my reward?

What are you talking about?

Deal? I didn't make a deal with you.

You're the one who wants to fall in love.

I only give you opportunities to achieve your goal.

Get my goal?

So you're starting to feel something for me?

It will be very difficult for me to feel even if it is just a little affection for your person

Auch...

Who is it?

Yan Chan... it's me.

Can we talk?

¿Ayano?

A-ah... yes, right away.

Hi....

Hi

Uh...

¿Ayano?

A-ah... yes, right away.

Hi...

Hi

I'm sorry, I... I haven't worn the uniform yet.

You neither...

I'm not going to the excursion

Why?

I'll take care of my sister.

But... I came to apologize.

Apologies?

To avoid you.

I thought that..

No need to explain

or apologize

Do you think we can be friends?

Sure

I ... did not come alone just to apologize.

Don't?

After the excursion...

Do you think we can get together in my house?

Y-your house??

Of course!

Budo will come too.

Goodbye Yan Chan.

It's good to see you again.

Bye...

His home...

He invited me to his house...

Senpai invited me to his house!

I'll be at Senpai's house!

I can't believe it...

Don't start with your jealousy, Masuta

It's not that.

Taro invited me to his house to talk about his investigations with the detective...

But he didn't tell me he'd invite you.

Does he plan to tell you everything too?

No matter what he say.

I'm interested in meeting that detective you're both talking about.

Ayano is so adorable...

I wonder if we can be together after what happened with Budo.

I don't want to lose him as a friend again.

Everybody get out of the way!

What's wrong with him?

Don't interfere!

Move, Move!

Hey! be careful!

Girls.

Have you seen Oka?

Shin... What are you doing here?

I was looking for you.

I think you'll be interested in this book.

It could help us with the invocation.

Where did you get from?

The library.

Not useful.

I said the books here were useless. I've read them all over and over again. They are a lot of stories to scare children.

Then... I'll keep looking elsewhere

Do you like... Yamada?

Oh, Oka thanks to heaven!

Do you have what I asked?

Thank you.

I owe you one.

I hope the director don't get mad at me for forgetting to do the reservation at Kamoe

How fortunate that your family has found us a hotel for everyone in Kyoto

Don't worry.

I'll see you later.

Hana! We need to talk

Can it be another time?

It is still necessary to finish the list of students, coordinate the buses, lunch...

Do you have what it takes to stay as I asked?

Well, that's what I wanted to talk about.

Do not tell me that again you forgot the papers...

Please go find them, they are very important and I am very busy. We should go soon.

I... I didn't make the reservations

But I've solved it! Look!

NoNoNo, reservations were in Kamoe. Not in Kyoto.

I know, I tried to get something in Kamoe but there was no place. A student has family in Kyoto and offered to give us a hand.

We can't go to Kyoto!

We would have to tell all the students that Kamoe was cancelled,

we would have to talk to the principal to ask for his authorization. I just asked you to do one thing!

I know, I'm sorry. It's the best thing I thought of as a solution.

I'll go talk to the director. Tell everyone to wait in the cafeteria, okay? Can you do that?

Yes...

Let's review one more time please!

But we've done it ten times!

Why is it so important that you send all those messages before the excursion?

I won't be in two days! What will I do if I don't get internet at Kamoe?

He needs you to be constantly sending him messages so he can help you progress.

Haven't you thought that maybe you're a little irritating?

Don't be silly. Everybody loves me.

Hi guys. What are you doing?

We make sure everything is ready to Kamoe.

Kamoe?

The excursion will no longer be in Kamoe.

What?

I just talked to a teacher. Looks like they were wrong to make reservations. We're going to Kyoto

I'm glad to hear that. Those rumors of the Yurei were already making me very nervous...

Haven't you heard about the Yokai?

Oh No, no more rumors please...

This is not a rumor. It's real.

A year ago I travelled to Kyoto with my family and saw a Yokai in front of our noses.

That's not true. The Yokai prefer to be away from humans.

Not this.

I know, because that Yokai is in love with my grandmother.

But she passed away a few years ago...

The Yokai continues to roam the village hoping to ever be able to see it again and be together forever.

And remember, during the morning we will visit the garden of the Tenryuji temple.

We'll have two hours for lunch and during the afternoon we will continue visiting the Kinkakuji Temple until 5 pm.

We will return to our rooms and can only go out to visit the village with the consent of one of us.

We'll do some activities, too. For that we have decided to build couples that will be accompanied throughout the excursion,

not only for the activities, but also to help us to take care of the other until we return to school. Any questions?

Can we choose our partners?

We've already chosen them.

Why do you do that?

What? Why is that?

I want with my bff!

That unfair

I don't want to hear any complaints! This way they can learn how to get along with others of their peers.

I'll read to you who your classmates are these days. Remember and try to get along.

Haruto Yuto, your partner will be Chojo Tekina...

Koharu Hinata with Ivy Raysu,

whats wrong? Are you still upset about the proposal I made you?

Oka Ruto behaves very strangely.

I still don't understand what you mean. She's always behaved like that. It's her personality.

Never mind.

Budo Masuta will be with to Shin Higaku.

Mm... Bad luck. I wanted to be paired with my princess.

Oka Ruto and Taro Yamada.

What?!

Uh... there's been a mistake, I'm sorry, Oka, but Taro couldn't come.

We will pair you with someone else

Don't worry about me. I'll be fine by myself.

You can't be alone...

I said I'll be fine.

We'll discuss it later.

All right, let's continue.

Ayano Aishi...

Hayato Haruki

What? x2

Ayano? But I have never talked to her

No discussion!

Haha! I don't want to miss this.

It will be a great excursion

Kyaa!!!

Come in.

I'm sorry about the mess.

Sit down.

Beer?

No, thank you.

How old are you?

18

You should start testing.

It's 8:00 in the morning...

You have you come to know my friend Osana?

First. Don't use formalities. They make me feel uncomfortable.

And yes,

I got to know her before she died.

Died? She disappeared.

Kid... We're talking about a murderer, not a kidnapper.

But there's no evidence.

You don't need them.

I'm sorry, I'm not in my best moments.

Take. I want you to see this.

This is...?

A newspaper that was published in 1989.

And this...

It's from the detective who was in charge of the investigation at your school.

The Power of Expectations | Invisibilia | NPR - Duration: 3:12.

This is a man named Bob Rosenthal, and early in his career as a research psychologist,

he did something very devious.

Late one night, Bob secretly crept into his lab, and he hung signs on all of the rat cages.

Some of the signs said that the rat in the cage was incredibly smart, and some of the

signs said that the rat in the cage was incredibly dumb, even though

neither of these things was true.

So then Bob brings this group of experimenters into his lab and says, "For the next week, some

of you are going to get these very smart rats, and some these very dumb rats, and your job

is to run your rat through a maze and record how well it does."

So what did they find?

It was not even close.

The smart rats did almost twice as well as the dumb rats.

Even though they weren't...?

Even though the smart rats were not smart and the stupid rats were not stupid.

They were just all the same kind of average North Dakotan rat.

That almost to me sounds like the stuff of science fiction, like telekinesis.

Yeah!

No one really believed him at first.

"I was having trouble publishing any of this."

But what Bob eventually figured out was that the expectations that the experimenters had

in their head actually translated into a whole set of tiny behavior changes.

"Handling rats and handling them more gently can actually increase the performance of rats."

This kind of dynamic happens in people, too.

"You may be standing farther away from someone you have lower expectations for, you may not

be making as much eye contact, and it's not something you can put your finger on."

That's Carol Dweck, a psychologist at Stanford.

She was one of several researchers who explained all kinds of surprising things that

expectations can influence.

Like, teacher expectations can raise or lower a student's IQ score.

A mother's expectations can affect the drinking behavior of her middle-schooler.

Military trainers' expecations can literally make a soldier faster or slower.

Think about that, as you go through the world, expectations of other people are constantly

acting on you, literally making you stronger or weaker, smarter or dumber.

Faster or slower?

Yeah!

So my question was, "How far does this go?"

So Carol, for example, if I expect that if somebody jumps off a building they will be

able to fly, that's not gonna work out so well, right?

"Right."

So what does science know about where we should draw the line?

"That line is moving as we come to understand things that are possible, and mechanisms through

which a belief affects an outcome, or one person affects another person.

That line can move."

AM I THE ONLY ONE?? - Duration: 1:44.

Am I the only one, who does these things?

Whenever I think about my past crushes

I'm always like,

What was I thinking??

Like, why did I have a crush on that particular person???

When I'm happy,

I eat...

And when I'm sad...

I eat.

Whenever I'm posing for pictures

In my head,

I'm looking like this.

But in reality,

I'm looking like this.

Whenever I want to escape the reality,

I just binge watch movies or TV series

and when a series ends

and I come back to reality,

It feels like the end of the world..

and I don't know what to do with my life.

I laugh at my own jokes

I seriously believe that I'm one of the most funniest people I've ever met.

I don't really like attending social gatherings.

But when I do go,

I go for the food.

Whenever I'm scared at night

I just go under the sheets and I feel completely safe.

And there shouldn't be a single opening left, you know

because then the ghost can creep in through that.

I can easily watch scary movies,

But, it's after that

That my imagination goes wild.

I can sleep anytime

But when there's something important the next day and I have to wake up early,

I just can't sleep.

I keep procrastinating important tasks

Until, I'm filled with so much guilt

that I've no other choice than to finally do it.

And there are some more weird things,

Will talk about it some other time..

Till then....KEEP IT REAL.

2018 Mustang GT & EcoBoost Roush Chin Spoiler & Wheel Shroud 3-Piece Aero Kit Review & Install - Duration: 28:20.

Hey, guys.

Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today, we're taking a closer look at and installing the Roush chin splitter and wheel shroud combo

kit available for the 2018 GT or EcoBoost Mustang.

Now, if you're the owner of that 5.0 or 2.3 liter Mustang, you might be in the market

for something that will really beef up the front end aggression of your 2018 and really

make this thing as mean as it's supposed to be.

Now, this one does have a functional aspect to it as well as a stylistic aspect to it,

most of which is really just giving you a lot of downforce pressure at the front end

at top speeds simply because it does protrude out a little bit farther so it'll help with

the aerodynamics of your front end.

Now as far as styling goes, you can see it really hugs the body lines of your front end,

giving you a nice, beefy aggressive look more so than your factory chin splitter, that's

for sure.

Now, it does follow the same general shape.

Again, it just protrudes out a little bit farther.

It does have a little bit of a thicker appearance, and it also includes those wheel shrouds also

known as canards.

Now, those canards here really complete that look on the side profile.

I know a lot of guys might not be into that look, but I personally think this looks really

aggressive, and it's extremely unique to the category.

There's not a whole lot of chin splitters out there that come with those canards, that

really complete that front and side look appearance.

Now, this kit is going to include injection molded TPO materials for both the chin splitter

and the wheel shrouds or canards.

They're all made from that impact resistant, textured black stipple appearance material.

Basically, what that means is it's that really hard ABS plastic and it also includes that

finish just like your OEM splitter.

Now, if you don't have an OEM splitter, this is going to be a really, really simple install

because you're not going to have to uninstall anything, but there are a couple of things

I want to go over before we get into it.

If you do not have a performance pack Mustang, it is going to be a little bit different of

an install than those guys out there with the performance pack Mustangs.

Difference being your belly pan.

Now, if you do have a performance pack model with the performance pack belly pan or the

Ford Performance aftermarket belly pan, you are going to have to do some drilling and

cutting to the lower chin splitter from Roush.

Now, it's not too hard of a job to do, but you want to make sure you're comfortable doing

it with a comfortable tool of your choice like a sawzall or something similar, and you

want to make sure you have a quarter inch drill bit and a drill.

If you do not have the performance pack Mustang, completely skip everything I just said.

You don't have to drill, you don't have the cut.

It will bolt on just like your factory splitter.

Although, your belly pan will not bolt up to every single hole on each side.

The holes on the sides here will not bolt up to anything, but that is not going to be

a detriment to this install.

You can still install your Roush chin splitter without the performance pack, it's just not

going to be a 100% fitment for your factory belly pan.

If you don't like that, no fear, you can pick up the performance pack belly pan separately,

if you really want to round out that install underneath your vehicle, although, it is not

necessary.

Now, if you are looking to pick up this entire kit, 600 bucks is the way to go, you can pick

up the whole thing together.

And it is going to include a couple of extra brackets.

Now, those brackets are not going to be for this particular install, but only for installing

this with the Roush lower grille.

That is sold separately.

If you want to pick that up and really round out the bottom end of your Roush kit here,

then you can pick that up and use the brackets included in the kit, although, you do not

need them for the splitter install.

Again, I'm gonna detail all of this confusing stuff for you in the installation.

Now, if you have to do the drilling and you have to do the cutting, expect two out of

three wrenches on our difficulty meter and about two, two and a half hours in the shop

or garage at home.

If you don't have to do that, because you don't have a performance pack, expect one

out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, and I'd say about an hour, maybe two at the

absolute maximum in the driveway at home.

Now today, we are not working with performance pack.

Although, I am going to show you how to do that drilling and how to do that cutting.

We're going to put the splitter back on the table, I'm going to cut out the template and

show you how that gets done.

Tools needed for this install will be a cordless impact, quarter inch ratchet, panel removal

tool, flathead screwdriver, three-eighths extension, 7-millimeter short socket and deep

socket, 8-millimeter deep socket, 10-millimeter deep socket, 10-millimeter short and deep

three-eighths-inch socket, 13-millimeter deep socket, variety of swivel sockets and a 13-millimeter

ratcheting wrench.

The tools needed for performance pack models with drilling and cutting required will be

a drill, a quarter inch drill bit, a center hole punch mark and an air saw or a sawzall

or a similar cutting tool.

So, the first step of our uninstall here, I'm actually going to start inside of our

wheel wells.

Now, we're going to repeat the process for both sides here.

I'm going to use a panel removal tool.

You could use a flathead screwdriver if you don't have one of these, but trust me this

does come in handy.

There are three push-pin clips that we're going to remove from inside the wheel well

holding that liner to the bumper itself.

So again, I'm going to use this panel removal tool, I'll pop the three out from the lower

side here, and then I'm going to repeat that for the opposite side.

Now, if it makes your life easier, you could always remove the front wheels.

I don't find it completely necessary because with this tool, we can just reach those clips.

So, three clips on each side and then we'll move on.

Now we're doing the same thing here for our passenger side, pull the middle section out,

pry up underneath, pull the whole thing out.

I'm going to remove the eight 7-millimeter bolts holding on our factory splitter here.

If you don't have a factory splitter, you can skip right over this and move on to the

belly pan.

If you do have one, eight 7-millimeter bolts along the edges here, there's four on this

side, four on the opposite side then we're going to move on to the belly pan.

Now, this belly pan has up to 18 7-millimeter bolts, depending on which package you have,

performance pack have a little bit more, non-performance pack might have a little bit less.

So again, 7-millimeter deep socket I'm going to use to remove all the necessary bolts underneath

our vehicle.

All right, now we can move on to the belly pan here, we're starting on the back ones.

There's two in the back in these indents.

So, at this point, we've removed about half of the bolts that we need to.

I'm going to stop down and use our panel removal tool again to pop off these push-pin clips

on the back of our belly pan just because I didn't want all the bolts to be removed

and then all the pressure to be hanging down on those plastic clips, we don't want them

to break.

So, I'm going to use the panel tool, pop these two off and we'll keep going with the rest

of the bolts.

All right.

We got about seven more bolts to do right on these indents here on the front end of

our lift.

Again, 7-millimeter socket, knock these out.

All right.

We got the last one here, just make you're catching the belly pan as it falls down.

At this point, our mud flaps will come loose, so we can pop those straight out of place

as well.

Now that our belly pan is out of place, we still have a couple more things we have to

do before we can pop off our factory splitter.

I'm going back to our panel removal tool.

And again guys, if you don't have this, I definitely recommend picking it up, it's super

useful.

We have three push- pin clips on my right here, three push-pin clips on my left, on

the inside of our factory splitter, I'm going to pop those out and then we're going to get

to work on the remaining bolts holding it on by the front.

Once those are out of place, we'll pop it out and get to work on our install.

So, these interior ones, I got the middle one out, but they are a little bit trickier

since they are a smaller size.

So, if you want to switch over to a small flathead screwdriver, this could actually

work easily as well.

You can pry up from the inside here or you can make your way on the inside and push up

from the bottom, and that'll push up that plunger style push-pin clip and allow you

to pop that out.

The top is popped, can pull up on it just a little bit more.

Now, we're going to do the same thing on the opposite side with our panel removal tool.

All right.

So, we have several more bolts, 10 to be exact, that we're going to remove from the inside

of our splitter here.

I got my 7-millimeter short socket for this one just because there isn't as much space

with an impact gun.

Going to use a swivel socket for this one just because it's at an awkward angle.

We still have our 7-millimeter socket on there as well.

Guys, when you get down to the last couple screws or bolts here, make sure that you're

holding the splitter on because it is going to start falling off on you.

Got my swivel back on here for this awkward angle.

All right.

Now, we can remove our factory splitter.

So, we've got our factory chin splitter off of our 2018 EcoBoost and on the ground here,

sitting next to our Roush option.

Now, as you can see, they share the same general shape, it's just the Roush option is actually

going to be about double the thickness of our factory one.

With that, you're getting it to protrude out a little bit farther than the factory one

which does help with downforce and aerodynamics, and it has the Roush name right in the middle

there, so it adds a level of aggression.

When you see that Roush name, you know it's got a really good quality build behind it.

This one is injection molded TPO constructed which basically means it's a really, really

durable plastic.

It's impact resistant and it's got that black stipple finish which is basically just like

very small black specks in the paint just like your OEM finish.

So, it's got that textured look and does look super aggressive on the front end of your

S550.

We do have to make a few modifications to our Roush option before we get started on

the install, simply because out of the box, it does require you to drill some holes into

it, and then we have to make some modifications to our factory belly pan.

So, before we can get this on the car, let's do some drilling and then we'll get started.

All right.

So, it's time to make that modification that I mentioned earlier to our Roush chin splitter.

Now, we've got our template cut out, so you are going to have to cut that out of the big

sheet provided for you in the kit.

And then, I actually recommend using painter's tape or even scotch tape to tape down that

template all along your chin splitter.

Make sure it is the perfect size, make sure you're being very meticulous when you're cutting

it out of the paper to make sure that it is going to fit properly.

We've got it taped down around the edges here, as you can see by our blue painter's tape.

I'm going to use a center hole punch just to mark our pilot holes in the template.

Once I have my pilot hole marked with our center hole punch, I'm going to use my quarter

inch drill bit to drill into those holes on our Roush splitter and then we're going to

move on to those notches.

So now, that we have our pilot hole marked with our center hole punch, I just want to

make sure that you're aware, you want to make sure that you're measuring this twice before

you start drilling.

I know that typically applies to cutting, you know, measure twice, cut once, but same

thing applies to drilling.

Make sure that your holes are punched in the dead center of the template.

Make sure that your template is on-point with the edging of your Roush splitter before you

start drilling, because once you start drilling, there really is no going back.

So once you double check everything, you can go in with your quarter inch drill bit.

All right.

So, we got our drilling out of the way.

Next up, we have to cut out five of these rectangular notches as Roush is calling them.

So, you want to have a cutting tool of your choice on deck.

I'm using air tools, this way it'll make it a little bit more precise and a little easier

on me.

Also, make sure you have eye protection, anytime you're cutting, you don't want any plastic

shavings to get up in your eyes, just to be, you know, a little bit on the safe side.

I'm going to leave our paper template in place, making sure that we still have them taped

down accordingly.

Double check and make sure your template is in the correct location and make sure it's

against the edging here and, you know, ready to be trimmed.

So, I'm going to use my air tools here and my eye protection and we're going to make

the five cuts that we need to.

And then we're going prep our Roush chin splitter with the hardware provided for us in the kit

and get it ready for install.

So, we got our five rectangular shapes cut out.

And as you can see, there is a ton of plastic debris so it's a good thing you have your

eye wear on deck just to be safe when you're doing this.

Make sure you're measuring twice and cutting once, like I said earlier.

Make sure the template is in place properly.

Now, they might not be the cleanest cuts depending on what cutting tool you're using, but if

you do get the rectangular shape out, you can cut it out and, you know, grind it down

later on if you want to clean up those cuts.

We're good to go.

So, what I'm gonna do is remove this whole template [inaudible 00:17:05] set that aside.

And if you feel like when you go later on to install this, if you feel like some of

those rectangular cuts aren't big enough, or you didn't follow the template enough,

you could always realign it.

So, it's good to have that template for later on.

I'm going to go ahead to remove this.

And as you can see, we got those rectangular cuts out pretty nicely.

So now that we have our template being taken off now, we can take some of those metal push-pin

clips that were provided for us in the kit and we're going to go ahead and install them

on to our Roush chin splitter.

Next up here, we're going to put our fasteners into place.

Now, you want to use the smaller of the two different sizes.

There's a smaller one and then a little bit of a larger one.

Now, the larger ones are going to be for the holes we just drilled in the Roush chin splitter.

The smaller ones are going to be for the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the splitter all the

around and those doghouse holes along the middle.

So, what we're going to do is install these and then move onto the larger ones, and we'll

keep it going.

All right, guys, I know we've been jumping around from place to place with this install,

there's a lot of things we have to do.

It can get pretty tedious.

So, a couple of more things we have to set up.

One of those things is going to be our canard.

Now, the canard is actually going to go on to the end of this wheel well which is going

to complete that three-piece chin spoiler and wheel shroud design.

Wheel shroud, also called the canard.

So, what we're going to do is before we can actually install this, we have to install

our canard bracket.

It's very small, included in your hardware kit by Roush.

This is actually going to install over the stud with a factory nut holding your bumper

bracket from the bumper to the fender.

Now, you're going to peel back your wheel liner here, you're going to pull off that

10-millimeter nut, set your bracket into place over the stud and tighten it back down.

In order to do so, I've lowered our car back down.

Now, if you're working on the ground, that's nice too, you can use race ramps or just a

jack and jack stands.

You want to rotate your wheel to the opposite side of what you're working on.

We're on the driver side, wheels facing the passenger, peel back your wheel liner.

We've already got the retainer clips removed from the beginning of the install so it's

easy to peel these back.

With that peeled back, use your 10-millimeter deep socket to get that nut off the stud,

install the bracket then we can do our canard.

So, because our bracket now is going to be covered by our wheel well liner, I'm going

to take my quarter inch drill bit, and just drill a small quarter inch hole right in front

of that bracket.

Now, even if it isn't completely precise, it is going to give us enough room to get

a bolt through and into that threaded bracket.

All right.

Now, we can install our canard.

We are going to line up those two open holes on the bottom of the canard to the pre-drilled

holes on our interior well liner.

The top one when we can line up for the hole we just drilled.

It's about time we install our Roush chin splitter.

It's been a long time coming but it's finally time to get to the good stuff.

So, what we're going to do is slide this back into place over the factory mounting points.

You know, you have those nipples that point out there, that will go through the factory

holes.

Now, the ends of the chin splitter are actually going to go inside of those canards that we

just installed on our wheel wells.

Now, that we have all of our bolts to our Roush chin splitter, what we're going to do

is connect our canards to our new chin splitter.

So, we're going to use our self-tapping screws provided in the kit.

They're really tiny 7-millimeter ones, you can use a 7-mill short socket on a cordless

impact.

That will definitely do the trick the easiest way.

So, what we're going to do, we're going to put our self-tapping screw into our socket,

tighten everything up.

You can look on the inside of your wheel liner to make sure that holes are lining up with

where the push-pins would go.

If everything looks good and it's tight, go ahead and drill a brand new bottom.

All right.

So, we've already bolted down the top portion of the canard.

So, what we're going to do is start bolting down the bottom two portions.

We're going to take these retainer clips, and on the bottom portion here, we're going

to slide that over the open hole on our wheel liner.

Now, that's going to line up with the hole on the canard and we'll be able to bolt through

it.

Now, the secondary retainer clip is going to go up here, actually on the interior itself,

on this black little notch.

That's going to go over top here on the side, making sure that the threading is facing the

front of your vehicle.

That way, you can bolt it through the inside of the wheel well.

We can do the same thing the other side, slide our bottom retainer clip into place.

All right.

Now, we're going to take our small black 8-millimeter bolt, we're going to put that through.

Now, we're going to use the black ones here.

There's a couple of different ones that will fit.

The black ones just blend in a little bit better in the wheel well with the black interior.

All right.

Now, we do the same thing for the opposite side.

All right.

The final step of this very long install is going to be our belly pan.

Now, keep in mind that we're not using the performance pack belly pan, this is still

our factory EcoBoost belly pan.

And if you're using a factory GT, that's going to be the same thing.

So, because we're not using the performance pack belly pan, the edges here are not going

to bolt up to anything.

They're just a little bit short, but it is still doable.

So, we're going to bolt down the entire front here, all the bolts we took off in the beginning,

we're going to bolt down the back.

And of course, we're going to have some along the sides here and then we'll finish it off

with those push-pin clips right on the sides.

So again, the edges of our non-performance pack belly pan are not going to reach but

that's okay, it'll still bolt up and hold itself in.

All right.

Now, we can do our push-pin clips.

All right.

So, this one here is not holding one of our push-pin clips.

I'm going to use one of these retainer clips on this little tab, that fits over perfectly.

We're going to put one of these black bolts to the outside here on the wheel well liner,

this will give it some added security.

That's going to wrap up my review and install of the Roush chin splitter and wheel shroud

combo kit available for the 2018 GT or EcoBoost Mustang.

Now, if you're looking to beef up the front end with the Roush chin splitter and a very,

very, unique wheel shroud combo kit, this is really the way to go.

It looks super unique.

It's very aggressive on the front end.

It blends in really well with the front end especially the accents under your factory

grille.

You can pick this kit up for your own GT or EcoBoost right here americanmuscle.com.
