HOW I PASSED MY KPOP AUDITION & GOT SIGNED IN KOREA | allysseTV [엘리스TV] - Duration: 6:13.

so in this video I'm going to be talking

about my kpop audition story and how I

got signed to a kpop company in 2012

what's up everybody it

is Allysse right here on Allysse TV

in a notification bell so today I'm

gonna be telling you guys about the

process of how I got signed, how many

companies I auditioned for, all of that

good stuff so I first started getting

into kpop in 2006 at that time I was

already being a songwriter and produced

my first CD and so I never thought in my

life I would ever be doing Korean music

so I went from just wanting to be a

singer to being a songwriter producer

and singer and eventually wanting to be

in the kpop industry and the first time

I tried anything in kpop was back in

2010 when I did Taeyang's I need a boy

cover remix and I got a very positive

response my dad was actually the one

that gave me the idea that I should do a

Korean cover honestly I wanted to keep

kpop to myself like I didn't want to

share kpop at all with anybody and

then my first audition I believe was

2011 but if it was 2010, it was towards

the end because MBC birth of a star I did their season one a little bit of my

video actually was aired on TV in Korea

then I did SBS kpop star that was the first season and I was actually number

one the first person in line to freakin'

do this audition I know the reason why

I didn't pass that one because the song

choice the song that I chose wasn't

showcasing my voice to the best ability

so then 2012 comes I'm doing online

auditions I did email auditions and I

think I did a few online forms and so I

was looking at in my past email box and

I saw that I auditioned online through

email to 14 different companies 14 being

Startrak Entertainment which was the

company that I got signed to

The songs that I sent them I sent one Korean song

and the other four were my own original

songs in English the song that I sent

wasn't even kpop it was a Korean cover

from four men and it's one of my

favorite songs from them it's more of

like an R&B song so you guys should

check it out on my other channel and

I'll give you the link down below where

you can go watch it and just FYI I

actually got signed with this company

before I even won the Big Bang global

cover contest so that had nothing to do

with me getting signed so in the email I

just explained to them like at the time

what I was doing I sent them a link of

my video performance at UC Berkeley's

kpop con and then I just gave them

information about myself and my contact

a little bit of my bio they reply back

to me and they were saying that they

could see that I was passionate about

kpop and at first they weren't even

offering me a deal they were just saying

how with my songs my English ones could

get translated into Korean and they feel

that they could be a success in Korea

and so they were asking me questions

like you know do I plan on traveling to

Korea and they were also saying to that

if I didn't have plans to travel to

Korea to still keep in touch this is the

exact words from the person that emailed

me back it says frankly as a kpop swell

their English wasn't perfect but that's okay

frankly as k-pop's current it is so

difficult for foreigner to success in

music field as a singer so pretty much

they're saying right now currently it's

difficult for a foreigner to be a

success in music as a singer they're

also saying that there hasn't been

success in Korea for a foreign singer

but they said but after we listen to

your songs that you see and made they

have a good idea of how to break the

musical difference between pop and k-pop

so after that message I replied back to

them and asked them a bunch of questions

like you know what I have to move to

Korea would I be having to go back and

forth to Korea things like that they did

have trainees in development and they were

gonna be debuting a project that same

year I'm not sure how many trainees

there were but I can count at least four

or five trainees so with their response

after my reply they made the final

decision that they wanted me to join

their company and of course I was

aesthetic I was happy and everything but

of course I still had to get down to

business like what's that contract gonna be like

you know what I'm saying so after that

you know I just had some more questions

and they asked me more questions and

stuff like that they sent me the

contract in the mail signed it sent it

back they sent an English version and a

Korean version and I signed both versions

May 18th on Taeyang's birthday 2012

I was in Korea and they were like going

to Japan to perform and I remember all

this because like you know I love my Big Bang

You know it's crazy like I haven't

read this email in like hecka years I

didn't even know I still had this email

so this is their words we told you

before it's difficult for foreigner to

success in Korea as a kpop singer

so we consider how you can approach to

Korean finally we made this decision we

powerfully suggest that you develop with

our company if you want to work with us

your song will be legally registered and

what distribute the profit reasonably we

indicated our our position please let us

know your plans and opinion well I told

that I was interested in the plan and

they asked me questions they wanted to

speak with me on the phone

if you want more effectively we think it

is better to stay in Korea of course I

loved that option there were in a very

good location FNC Entertainment was

actually being built at the time that I

was in Korea my billing is right next

door so this is what they said in

response they said that they were

located near SM JYP and Cube and they

think it'll be a good place for me to

experience the Korean culture as soon as

you work with us we will promote you

through lots of ways also we will help

you learn writing songs and vocal every

make a song we will involve your song in

our song owl that will reveal this year

to promote our company and then they

said that they'll see how people respond

to that and they said that they're not a

famous company yet but they're trying to

develop their entertainment company and

also they said too that my hair style is

good for Korea so don't cut or change

Finally got my youtube back literally last night. I'm probably I'm uploads with you like around noon ish tomorrow, so

That's when this will be live. I'll be live-streaming

All day tomorrow so when this is live on YouTube, I'll probably be on Twitch as well

Dude is it has been a ride for sure. It's been an adventure

not the best of adventures but I I mean 14 days, you know, I got banned on Twitch for just some

Stupid stupid stuff that I did it wasn't even bad. I

Honestly don't even want to get into it because it's just so dumb

I'd rather just not talk about it and focus on the future because it's over with I'm good now, you know, whatever. It doesn't matter

Even though the twitch guys are really cool, you know, shoutout goes on and all the twists dudes

They really they really look after me and they watch my back. So I really do appreciate them. But just whatever, you know, I

When I got banned on Twitch, I was like whatever I'm gonna stream on YouTube. It'll be fine

You know last time I was a seven day band

And I was like what everyday I'll just take a break this week

It was 14 days and I wanted to stream, you know, 14 years out streaming is it's a long time

so I was like whatever man I'm she could take the El I'm gonna stream on YouTube and

then I found out that my YouTube was hacked again and

Deleted fully every video the entire channel in the email link to it the the brand account everything just deleted

My YouTube channel is completely gone

So obviously that sucked and you know

I contacted my people and it was a pain in the ass

To get back it took me two weeks when it should have took me a day, you know

but

It's been a struggle man. So

When I knew that like I wasn't gonna get my youtube back like soon and might which was banned

I was like screw it like I had nothing left to do but

to go

Pretty much move out to LA and go hang out with the phase guys and banks and all that meet up with them

I was just like screw it. I just bought a one-way plane ticket to

LAX and I I dipped to LA and I started setting up my set up. I've been I've been grinding like

Usually when I get banned like I like to take a break and just chill, but I don't know this time

We're just been getting stuff done

Aside from streaming yet doing a little bit of self work, you know worried about was like working on myself

Working on the set up the steps coming along. The house is sick that I moved into it's dope

I'm gonna do a setup video. I'm gonna start posting vlogs. I think if you guys think that's a good idea

Let me know in the comment section, you know, cuz I've been vlogging. You know, I got the g7x right here

You know decent the vlog camera, so I've been filming some vlogs

but when I got banned originally on

Twitch and my YouTube got deleted I was scared that I wasn't gonna be able to go to pax but I

Figured that out

so once I was able to go to pax that at least was something to look forward to

You know going to hang out pax and all my friends compete

So that was a lot of fun going to pax him at all the four night players, you know

Hung out with them. Myth was on my plane. I hung out with myth a lot

I did a little bit of vlogging. I met a lot of my fans. I signed a lot of

You know, I signed a lot of stuff

I took pictures with everybody and I I was pretty

I was pretty sad and just bored and I kind of depressed when I got banned but

Did pax thing really cheered me up going to pax was just incredible. Just meeting all my fans and just hanging out with people competing

I did end up getting 27 place, which wasn't too great, but I did have a really good game in the qualifiers

But I mean 27 place wasn't too bad

It was it was a weird format to play with but I mean, I'm happy to 7th place. It's whatever dude I

5 Dawson two hires isn't isn't a little amount of money. So I'm so I'm stoked that I won $5,000 in packs

Just there are so many good players here. There was just the most axles ever

Like I said, the four most weird will get will do better next time for sure for sure

But I mean this whole this little thing is just like a wake-up call though, like the last bands in the last hacks

I you know, I could just kind of brush it off, but this one was bad dude, like

this one sucked like

When I got banned for seven days on Twitch, I was like, all right, this is this is cool

Like I could I could turn it into a positive. But like I don't know this band was just

Sucked dude, it sucks so bad. I streaming for 14 days

It was rough dude. Honestly, I'm just so glad to be back where I'm at

And I got that six stream set up here in LA

Cloaks moving in in a few days which is gonna be awesome cloaking like some of in because he moved with his girlfriend

His dog in his cat too. So once everyone starts moving into these houses. I know some people moved in next door

It's just gonna be a full block of just madness all the time we to begin so much stuff done so much content

But I mean, I'm just honestly I'm just super happy to be out here

But I'm also super hard to just be able to stream again just be able to play for night again

Then get back to the grind because I was grinding like 10 12 14 hours a day everyday before I got bad

I think I was grinding more then than I ever have and it sucks that I went out like that

But I mean it kind of was my fault, you know, I should have I should be able to avoid these things

Like I can't really blame twitch, you know, because I know people get banned for silly stuff all the time

So it sucks but just got to live with it. It's in the past. It's over with it's

Just whatever

Let's move on. But I mean by the time I was banned, you know, like I

like I really didn't know what to do, but I saw

kids making fake channels and back up

Quote-unquote tifa's back up channel and all that stuff and they were getting like I think one of the channels going a hundred two hundred

Thousand subscribers in a day and it wasn't even me so that kind of pissed me off and it's like do you know?

Give me a break man. Give me a break

But I appreciate all my fans and all my viewers being super supportive

throughout this two weeks of boredom

but uh

I'm just happy to be back man, the end of the day like aside from all the unfortunate stuff happening over and over again

I'm just super grateful to have what I and to have the fan base that I have

Even though some of them might be toxic, you know, whatever but like I'm just happy to be back man

I'm gonna be grinding posting videos. I'm gonna try to be posting every day

I'm gonna be definitely streaming at least every day at like the least five times a week, you know

I'm gonna be getting into more like IRL like vlogging stuff like that

So like people were spreading rumors that I was permanently banned and that I was quitting streaming

How To Subtitle/CC YouTube Videos On Your Phone! - Duration: 4:03.

Captions throughout this video were written using this method except this Kinetic Typography

so right outta the gate, if you're not captioning your videos

you're missing out on potentially millions of people

who could be watching your videos"

So... let's jump right into it..

since we can't use out browser to subtitle our videos

because i would rather record a week Worth of videos

than write subtitles for one video

IIIIIIII CAN'T DO THIIISSS!!!!

*BANG*

so we're going to use an app called Subcake

Links to all apps mentioned in this video

will be in the description below

Subcake is basically a subtitle editor

that we will be using to write *and sync* our captions

First, import your Youtube video into the app

if you don't have your video on your phone

then you can download it from Youtube using Vidmate

or any online Youtube downloader

once you have your video downloaded

swipe right in Subcake to reveal the sidebar

Tap Open Video and select your video

swipe right again and select create blank file

tap New Line to create a new subtitle line

you tap on the pencil icon to type your captions

in your edit panel, you don't need to change anything

other then typing your caption

unless you want to fine-tune your synchronization

and now you basically play your video

memorize the dialogue

write your caption

tap save

and keep doing this

until you have finished writing subtitles for the whole video

the process, obviously is time consuming

so what i like to do is attach an external keyboard

to my phone through OTG cable

since I'm good with physical keyboards

it speeds up my process

once you're done writing, it's time to sync it with the video

you'll see a circular button at the bottom right corner of the screen

that you can move around for some reason

this button will help us sync the captions

when you tap and hold the button

it starts to basically record that moment

and when you release the button, it stops Recording

that make sense? i hope so

scroll all the way up and tap the first line of your subtitle

move the video playhead to the start of your video

tap and hold the stopwatch icon and play your video [with your other thumb]

now you basically read your captions

tap and hold the stopwatch button when the speaking starts

and release it when it ends

you do this for the whole video

if you mess up at any point in time you can pause the video

and resync the line

once you have write down your captions and synced it with the Audio

then it is time to save it and upload it to youtube

tap the save icon to save it to your phone

then tap export

this will open up a new window where you select the subtitle format

by default it'll be A$$

(laughs at his own joke that a 5 year old would make)

we... we don't want A$$

Youtube supports .srt so we'll be exporting it in .srt

open up your favorite browser and open up

YouTube in desktop mode

in Google Chrome you tap on the 3 dots at the top right corner

and select Desktop Site

login to your youtube and go to your video's subtitles page

once on the subtitles page.. tap "Add new subtitle"

select English if you wrote your subtitles in English

tap upload file... then tap Subtitles File in the next page

select and navigate to your subtitles file

your subtitle file will be located inside the Subcake folder

in your internal storage

once you've done that, you simply tap [Save then] Publish

and your video will now have closed captions

hey guys back with another video today I

want to talk about taking action and

doing your own research involved excuse

me as father's trying to find out what

works for you in order for your

weight-loss journey to work for you and

the reason why I'm saying this is

because a lot of time people get on

these weight-loss journey including

myself but you know I don't want to get

myself in trouble trying to act like I'm

an expert you know pretty much you know

so I kind of like to give my advice but

it's only from my own experience you

know I've watched other channels where

people are now being successful in their

weight loss journey and that's a great

thing I'm not knocking them for that but

I feel as though that um you know we're

not experts you know and if the person

who is currently on a weight-loss

journey or was on a weight-loss journey

had all the answers they wouldn't be

overweight so I just want to let you

guys know because I get this question

all the time well what can I do so I can

be successful on my weight loss journey

I suggest that you do like I did I

watched people like dr. Burge then

there's some other alternative channels

that I watched in some the snake diet

some juicing channels people that do

juice fast juice cleanses and I look at

a lot of dr. Morris's you know videos I

loved watching his stuff and to be off

to chew and this is just my opinion

everything that that guy tells you to do

if you do it especially as far as

detoxing because detox plays a part in

to weight loss if your body is toxic

you're going to lose weight at a very

slow level once you unclog some of those

toxins from in the tissue in the liver

and the kidneys everything will be

flowing like it's supposed to flow like

we were younger but you have to take

bits and pieces from different places

because everyone's gonna have oh that's

not true with that person saying you

should do it this way you're gonna find

people that are not going to agree with

one another but they're smart people so

you got to take bits and pieces of the

information and you have to tailor it so

it works for you you can't do what I

tell you to do and say it's you know

well it's not working and this is what

you told me to do no you have to listen

to what I'm telling you in my opinion

that worked for me that might work for

you and you have to tailor it so that it

fits for you because this the fact of

the matter is that it's not a one size

fit all now one thing that is always

going to be a hundred percent consistent

and the truth of the whole weight loss

thing is that eighty percent of weight

loss stocks in the kitchen is what you

put in your mouth if you don't have the

eighty percent of what you put in your

mouth down then you're not going to lose

any weight exercise is the bonus that's

the tightening the tip tighten and lift

up the areas from the weight stretching

you out and making things hang it makes

you tight and tone and it falls into

place as you're losing weight so that

you don't look sickly and you also look

healthy and you look good and in some

cases when you do the twenty percent

which is exercise a lot of people find

that they don't even need to go and get

surgeries and stuff like that because

doing these kind of workouts that we do

while we're on a weight-loss journey

helps tighten and tone up the skin and

our muscles but yes you have to really

do your research and you're going to

disagree to agree that everything that

somebody might say you might not

even that or you might not believe that

it works for you and that's fine

you have to take what you can do from

those individuals and tailor it so it

can work for you make your own protocol

because you have to take action in a

world that all they want to do is when

you go to the hospital tell you hey take

this medication this will help you lose

weight it'll suppress your appetite

you know I will also set you up on a

nutrition plan and that nutrition plan

might not be right for you either so all
