My name is Kasper.
I'm from Denmark and I'm 23 years old.
My discipline is tumbling.
It's a form of gymnastics with lots of action,
lots of bouncing.
My act includes music,
Música Ligera.
When you listen to the music,
it makes you feel.
I like Cirque du Soleil because the team is very big.
It has someone for everything.
That's why it's great to work here
and have the opportunity to do what I love.
Hi, I'm Zendra Tabasco
and I'm Mexican.
I've been in Buenos Aires
for about seven months now.
I came here to help create Sep7imo Día.
ZENDRA TABASCO, (MEXICO) HAIR HANG SPECIALIST
I think I started hair hanging
a little over nine years ago.
This is a very old traditional circus technique.
It's something I've been discovering
quite on my own.
I really like the freedom
of what I do.
I come here, to Luna Park,
to prepare for the show.
Training, warm up,
some dancing,
makeup...
All to get ready to perform
in front of 6,000 people every night.
My name is Aleksandr Lytvyshchenko,
I'm from Ukraine, but I live in Russia.
[Russian Cradle Artist (Russia)]
This interesting act is Russian cradle,
but this Russian cradle sit inside the wheel.
This is a new act for circus.
I like Argentina. I like people.
This is my first time when I work in Cirque du Soleil.
For me this a big experience.
This is a big family.
When I work, I feel power.
I feel energy from the public,
because we work inside public.
I'm Derek,
31 years old.
and I'm from Hawaii.
My first song I downloaded
was "Hombre al Agua" of course
which is the song I'm performing to.
I'm learning about the song much more.
I'm being coached with a guitar.
When I free dive,
I have to slow everything down.
My heart rate slows down,
my thoughts slow down,
everything is very calm.
Cirque du Soleil has always been a dream for me to work with.
Ever since I was a little kid I saw it on TV
and it's been a dream.
Hi, I'm Saulo Sarmiento.
I'm from Spain and I'm 29 years old.
Cirque du Soleil Sep7imo Día show acrobat.
The man of spring,
which is a Primavera Cero performance,
with the aerial pole.
My favourite song from the Sep7imo Día show
is "Ciudad de la Furia."
I think it has a lot of power
and goes really well with the performance.
This isn't the first time I'm working with the circus.
It all began in 2013 when I received
the year's Cirque du Soleil award
for most innovative performance.
What I like most about working
at a company like Cirque du Soleil
is the professionalism
that goes into every aspect.
Hi, my name is Micaela Tetamanti
and I work as the Wardrobe Dresser.
My job consists of three stages:
The first is the quick set,
where I put backstage right
all the costumes that will be needed during the show,
with quick changes.
The second is to help
with quick changes during the show,
and the third is to get the costumes
ready for the show the next day.
Quick changes involve,
for example, changing a wig,
an accessory or a mask,
or simply helping acrobats
do up a zipper,
or whatever else they might need.
Always being there to help them.
I hope the work we do here backstage
will make for a great show.
Hi, my name is Cristóbal Lanzagorta.
I'm in charge of the automation department
for the Sep7timo Día show.
The automation department is responsible
for all the motorization
that makes artists fly
and that moves components
such as the 2 ton dome
like they're supposed to.
The dome is the most complex of the components we have
since it uses six different motors to move.
Artists fly using three high speed winches,
which is how they manage
to do tricks in the air
and what makes the flying so breathtaking.
We have two other components: the curtain,
which we can project on,
and earbuds,
which let us communicate with the main character
and get him or her out of the cage.
I hope all this will make the show
fun for you to watch.
Enjoy the show!
Hi, my name is Igor Arefiev,
I am Head Coach of SEP7IMO DIA.
As Head Coach, I have to supervise all the acts,
acrobatics and hand balancing
or banquine disciplines.
The music of Soda Stereo, of course,
it's very upbeat and,
most of the time, it was choreographer's job
to make sure that artist interpret
this music organically,
and they move and do their skills
according to certain moments in these songs
that corresponds to the either lyrics or the musical piece.
Hopefully, the job that I do
is increasing the level of acrobatics
and enjoyment for the audience around Latin America.
My name is Federico Bru
and I work as a wardrobe assistant
for Cirque du Soleil's Sep7imo Día.
My title is Assistant Head, Props,
and I'm in charge of props for the show.
A lot of work went into
the Buenos Aires workshops,
which included looking for materials,
trying things, showing them to the circus directors,
creating other things, and so on and so forth.
It was a lot of back and forth.
This is a very, very energetic show.
You can't help but look everywhere,
at everything that's happening. And, the music
is fantastic.
They gave it a really interesting spin,
and the sound is
great, just great.
I think it's a very enjoyable show.
