Good afternoon, dear friends, colleagues!
I am very glad to welcome all of you in Russia, Vladivostok,
you - representatives, heads of companies and enterprises that are already implementing their projects here in the Far East, as well as those who are just eyeing and planning to start work.
Today we can talk in an informal, confidential environment about issues that are important to you and that interest you, how to more actively promote economic initiatives here in this part of Russia's territory.
I would like to note that our unconditional priority is the progressive, integrated development of the entire Far Eastern region.
In recent years, we have launched here a number of mechanisms to stimulate business activity, including preferential tax and administrative regimes, support for large projects.
We offer investors convenient financial instruments, develop infrastructure - energy, communications, transport.
Of course, there is still a lot to do here, the territory is simply enormous - this goes without saying, we understand this, we realize this, nevertheless we increase the capacity of the railways,
the capacity of seaports and, of course, we are working to increase quality of vocational education in the region, training of qualified personnel.
We create the most comfortable ones - in any case, we are striving to create the most comfortable conditions for the inflow of capital to the Russian Far East, to increase the efficiency and scale of the projects implemented here.
The objective, natural advantages of the region are also well known to everyone.
This is a favorable geographical position, high availability of resources.
At the same time, it is important that foreign investors and, in general, any investors coming to the Far East are not, as they say, captives of stereotypes, and when making decisions, they are not guided by the past, but for the future.
The Far East today opens up great prospects for business in the widest possible range and range of issues.
And this is not only traditional industries, such as mining and primary processing of raw materials, transport, trade.
We associate the perspective development of the region with the strengthening of its scientific, technical and educational potential, with the opening of manufactures that produce products with high added value.
Therefore, first of all, we will support initiatives to create high-tech, science-intensive industries, high-quality, high-performance jobs, projects that expand the export opportunities of the Far East and the entire Russian Federation.
And of course, the common requirement for all projects is strict environmental standards, lean attitude to the environment.
I will not tell you anything new here, in your countries everything is the same.
The competition for the opportunity to work in the Far East is growing.
And we are ready to support the best, most developed projects of both large corporations and small and medium-sized businesses.
Both federal authorities and regions of the Far East of Russia are set for this.
