Waching daily Sep 11 2018

In this video, I'm gonna show you how you

can easily sync video and audio in

Premiere Pro hello everyone I'm Andrew

Kan and if I Kan you Kan too! And

recording audio and video to separate

devices is really common within the film

industry in fact this videos audio is

being record (ED) [Great going past Andrew] separately on a road NTG

fourplus into a zoom h5 handy recorder

however when you record to two separate

devices you have to sync the audio and

video in post in this video i'm gonna

show you how you can do it easily in

Premiere Pro so once I'm in Premiere Pro

the first thing I want to do is go ahead

and go to where my footage is and make

sure that I'm ready to do all I need to

do now the first thing I want to show is

just what it looks like on the timeline

now because I used a production slate I

have clear levels in my audio as you can

see here if i zoom in where the slate

hits and where i can sync however if you

don't have a production slater clapboard

you can sync sound easily by asking your

on-screen talent to clap i do this

frequently when i'm doing interviews

take a look alright but because for this

project i use this production slate this

gives me a point of reference so when

i'm going in here and i'm trying to

quickly sync sound and this is how i

originally did it when i started i think

most people do this way as well where

it's natural to just try to eye ball it

and manually try to select it in but

there are faster ways to do this now if

i go in even closer this is slightly off

still so we can bring it in even more

but even then what if i saw the track by

hitting yes here it doesn't look bad it

seems to be in sync but let's play it

with some sound in this video i'm going

to show you how you now that's pretty

good the only thing is if I have

multiple clips or even if I am on a time

crunch sitting here and taking that time

well I can take a minute or two or

however long you want to do and

sometimes they can get out of sync if

you weren't exactly right

beginning so this can be a little

time-consuming so another way to do this

is by something called merging clips to

merge clips inside Premiere Pro you

first need to go to wherever you

imported your media and then you want to

select the audio and the video you want

to merge to select the audio or video

just hit ctrl on PC or command on Mac

and keep holding it to select the other

audio you wish to merge once you have

both Clips selected all you have to do

is right click and hit merge clips it's

gonna bring up a new pop-up menu which

is gonna ask you how you wish to name

this clip for me I like the way it is

it's Panasonic medium close-up merged

clip but if you are naming it you might

want to name it too however your project

is then it gives you some options on how

you want to synchronize for the purposes

of this video I'm just going to select

audio but in point essentially lets you

sync it if you know the slate is closer

to the beginning

similarly outpoint lets you sync if your

slate is at the end

timecode lets you dial in exactly where

you wish to sync but I want audio and

I'll show you what this does so while

that's going it's going to be processing

the audio and it's going to look at

where the clips have similarities since

I recorded all of this together I can

easily see where it observed and by

hitting the plus key on my keyboard I

can zoom in and I can see where the

slate hits here and where premiere was

able to sync based on that so if I solo

the bottom track and then go a little

further in I can then easily playback

and it should be perfectly synced in

this video I'm going to show you how you

can easily record audio and that was

pretty spot-on so what if you have

multiple cameras that might be a better

instance to synchronize the clips the

final thing I want to do is synchronize

the footage on the timeline the first

thing I'm gonna do is drag in the audio

I want to keep for both clips and put it

on track

that I want to make sure to lock track

one so I don't accidentally overwrite it

with the audio that was recorded

natively from my cameras once I have all

three selected what I'm gonna do is

unlock the other two clips then I'm

going to hit ctrl a to select all the

clips and then I'm gonna right click and

hit synchronize similar to merge clips

clip start means that they will base the

synchronization point at the beginning

of the clip clip end at the end of the

clip but we are going to select audio

then it's gonna process similar to how

it did for merge clips but now we can

see and listen to the playback of

multiple clips at once so let's quickly

do this in this video now notice how the

other clips are still coming into play

so the best thing to do is to quickly

unlink those and then delete them so we

can hear you can easily record audio and

as you can see both clips are perfectly

and sync to the audio here hello

everyone I'm Andrew can and if I can't

and that's an easy way to sync multiple

camera angles at once now if I wanted to

edit this video would be very simple all

I'd have to do is just drag this top

clip and then I'm Andru can and if I can

you can too and recording audio and

video to separate device that's an easy

way to sync multiple different camera

angles to one audio clip that's how you

can easily sync audio and video within

Premiere Pro let me know in those

comments below do you use these methods

or do you have another way of syncing

I'm curious to what you have to say if

you enjoyed this video please consider

subscribing and hitting that Bell

notification to stay up to date on all

things on my channel I cover my films, my

travels, and my expertise and I would

love to have you around!

I'm Andrew Kan and remember if I Kan you

Kan too!

How to Sew a Lining in a Skirt with a Slit - Vent Extension - Duration: 5:21.

Maybe you've tackled putting a lining in a regular skirt, but you're wondering how

to do it for a skirt with a vent extension, also known as a slit. You're in luck because

I'll show you exactly how it's done.

You'll know a pattern has a vent extension because, near the hemline, your pattern will

have a shape similar to this.

From my front and back skirt patterns, I'll cut out pieces from my main fabric and from

my lining fabric.

With my main fabric pieces, I'll start assembling my skirt. This means, I'll sew in the zipper

and sew the center back seam to the top of the vent and also sew any darts. Then sew

the skirt front and skirt back together at the side seams.

You'll also want to fold along the vent extension and press.

You may have a separate pattern for the skirt lining in which there's an inverted vent

at the hemline instead of an extended one like my pattern, but this is not crucial and

you can reuse the same skirt pattern like I am. To make your lining vent inverted, use

a ruler and fabric marker and draw a line 1 ⅝" from the center back edge. This line

should go down to the hemline. Draw another line, extending the top edge of the vent extension

to your first line.

Mark where these lines intersect.

At your sewing machine, stitch from the center back to the mark, pivot and then go all the

way down to the skirt hem edge. You're not sewing anything together, we're just reinforcing

and prepping our vent area of our lining.

Trim the vent extension off leaving ½" to ⅝" past your stitches.

Cut diagonally to the mark.

Fold the fabric on the stitch line to the wrong side and press. Repeat these steps for

the other skirt back lining piece.

Now we're going to sew the skirt lining pieces similar to how we did the outer shell.

Sew the center back seam from the top of the vent to the bottom of where the zipper would

go in.

Press this seam and continue pressing to the top of the waistline, turning the edges of

where the zipper will be by ⅝".

Then sew the skirt front lining and the skirt back lining together at the side seams and

press. Also, if you had any darts, don't forget to do those.

Next, you'll want to hem the skirt lining. The skirt lining should end up above the finished

length of your outer skirt so you should take a look at your hem allowance of your main

pattern. For example, if your hem allowance for your main skirt is 1", you might want

to make the lining hem allowance 1 ½".

So on my skirt, I'll fold up the bottom edge of the skirt lining 1 ½" to the wrong

side, press, then take the top raw edge, turn under ¼" and press again. Please note,

when doing this, unfold the pressed edge around the vent.

Sew your hem in place at your sewing machine using a regular length straight stitch on

the top folded edge.

Now insert the skirt lining into the main skirt, wrong sides together, matching up the

top edge of the skirt.

Your pressed zipper area should go alongside the zipper teeth of the main skirt.

For now, you're just going to baste all along the top of the skirt attaching these

two layers together. For a typical skirt, you'll eventually have a waistband, but

you'll want to watch our tutorial on the basic waistband if you need help with that.

Hand sew the pressed edge of the lining to the zipper tape by going back and forth between

grabbing the lining and the zipper tape.

Now we'll do the hem of the main skirt. Turn the vent extension at the bottom of the

skirt to the right side and stitch 1" from the bottom going across the turned edge of

the vent, or whatever your hem allowance is.

Trim off the excess. Then flip the vent extension back to the wrong side and the bottom edge

of the skirt will naturally start to turn along the hemline.

On the inside of the skirt, press up the hemline of the main skirt for the rest of the length.

You can either hand sew it in place if it's a delicate fabric or machine sew it. You can

pull the lining up just to keep it out of the way.

Pull the lining down and in my example the lining is a ½" shorter than the main skirt.

Then you want to lay the lining vent over the main vent.

You'll notice that my lining is not matching up with the edge of my vent.

There is about a 1 inch gap here

I'm going to slip stitch the edge of the lining to my main fabric all the way around.

So I'm going to use a contrasting thread here so you can see where my thread is.

So I started right on that folded edge of the lining.

Im going to grab a little bit of my main fabric.

And I'm just grabbing the fabric that is on the wrong side.

I'm trying to make sure my needle doesn't go through to the right side.

Because I don't want to see my thread on that side.

So now that I did the main fabric.

I'm just going to go back to that edge of the lining again.

Then after that I go to the main fabric

So you're just going to do this all the way around.

until the vent is attached. Or the lining vent is attached to the main vent.

If you're worried about your lining coming separated from the skirt at the hemline area

too much, you can do some french tacks at the side seam areas. See our tutorial on doing

french tacks to learn how to do this.

And now your skirt has a lovely lining inside. Adding a lining can be extra work but it'll

make your handmade clothes look exquisite and high end.

Knowledge

Half of this world had its breasts cut, its entrails ripped, its bowels dismembered, its

houses turned to dust, its night skies full of drones— shooting stars for blinking sirens

and missiles, heavy metal descending, overthrowing everything termed 'home': familiarity,

love, raison d'être into thin air.

Its women forced into whores, men sodomized or enslaved, babies kept to die.

The other half of this world was always surfing the high blues, reading engrossing novels

about this half that had its breasts cut, entrails ripped, bowels dismembered, houses

turned to grey dust, its night skies full of drones—shooting stars for blinking sirens

and missiles, heavy metal descending, overthrowing everything termed 'home': familiarity,

love, raison d'être into thin air.

Its women forced into whores, men sodomized or enslaved, its babies kept to die.

When the books with these stories grew into too many, restless and bespectacled filmmakers

saw movie opportunities.

They made one film after another to get closer under the skin, to understand more of the

other half of the world.

They came up with art installations, talk shows that ran for whole years over the bestiality

of power and politics.

After the grand finale at such festivals, everyone made merry, but slept at 10 so no

one had dark circles under their eyes.

In the off-season, this half took to snorkelling, deep-sea diving and walking with the fish.

They had got bored of swimming.

In the other half of the world, sleep ripped from under the eyes, nightmares unfurled every

second.

When it was quiet and the men were exhausted over the mayhem and the killing, half-limbed

beings crawled in the dark, reading scrapes and pieces of stories by the candle flames

near brown-papered windows.

They read of blue oceans that swam with dolphins, of people on a perennial picnic, of film festivals,

sculptures, monuments and art installations; of fiestas and pita bread, siestas and chapels.

They read of smart cities, citadels, and probes sent to space to discover new planets for

water, aliens, and new gravity.

That was the only way they slept either smiling and weeping.

Some of them who could not sleep drew pictures on their bullet-ridden walls of waves and

boats and air balloons, filling it with any colour that they could find—even their own

blood.

Both halves of this world thus moved on—rolling on their hinges, keeping in touch through

books, stories, reinterpreting and reinterpreting that which was not their own.

Only sometimes when it got too excessive, too good or too gruesome to believe, either

half would call the other half: a contemporain mythology.

It was heartening that these halves of the same world were at least literate and knew

about each other through books and stories.

Sharing the same time of life, they were not complete strangers or completely lethargic.

Nature's MOST EXTRAORDINARY Parents!! - Duration: 11:13.

Here are Nature's Most Extraordinary Parents

With number 3 you're in for a surprise

#7 African elephant

At the top of our list is the African Elephant - the largest land mammal in the world.

African Elephants weigh about 12,000 pounds and stands roughly 10 feet tall.

Don't let their size fool you, by and...large they are genlte giants.

They say it takes a whole village to raise a child, and elephants have taken that maxim

to heart . The mother is responsible for providing milk

for her newborn but when it comes to caretaking and other maternal responsibilites the whole

herd steps in.

The mother will get a lot of help from aunts, sisters, and cousins who serve as nannies.

The African Elephant gives birth every 3 or 4 years.

Why reproduce so in frequently?

The reason is simple, their gestation period is no...trunk cated process.

It lasts a whole 2 years.

That's a crazy long time to have an elephant in your belly!

An elephant calf is usually born into a large family, headed by an older female elephant

who serves as the matriarch.

They're like the Italians of nature.

Calves depend closely on their mothers usually for about 10 years.

Elephant's are real momas boys that way.

The African Elephant moms are tender an loving and the term for the elephant mother is "the

cow".

Which seams a little harsh.

Learning to walk can be quite daunting for a nascent elephant.

The Cow will assist her baby when it tries to stand and will help them to walk while

guiding them with their trunk.

If the weather is extremely hot the mother will push their baby underneath her own shadow

while crossing clear areas and she'll do the same thing if a tread at her a tacs,

As great as this parental method is it also has a downside.

Unlike other mammal babies, elephant calves are extremely dependant on the care of their

mother.

If anything goes wrong in the herd, the calves are in immediate danger to tread at her or

natural dust at her.

It's important to know that the cow is very protective towards her calf, this usually

means a grass every protectiving against any perceived thread.

So we would not suggest approaching a baby elephant on your next safari.

Unless you want to live the rest of your life as a pancake.

#6

Coming in at number 6 is the Adelie Penguin These penguins were named from Adélie Land,

where they were first scientifically found in 1840 by the French explorer Jules Dumont

d'Urville, who decided to name this portion of the Antarctic continent in honor of his

wife, Adèle.

This dudes make the rest of us guys look bad!

Hey baby I got you some flowers, Oh ya?

Well Jules got Adele a continent!

These Adélie penguins have to breed and raise their babies in one of the coldest places

on earth, Antarctica.

Before the baby penguins are born, the father's make an extraordinary trip to the nesting

area by walking approximately 3000 miles in order to prepare their nest for their chosen

partner.

But the whole time they get to listen to Morgan Freeman narrate the journey, so its not all

bad.

The male must pile stones high up from the ground so the eggs won't freeze.

Once the nest is ready they will both take time for keeping the eggs warm because if

the egg goes unprotected for as little as five seconds, it will become and egg-sicle

Once the eggs finally hatch, which is usually about 35 days the parents will take turns

protecting their babies while the other goes searching for food for their family.

After about 2 months the chicks become independent and the parents can finally chill.

# 5 The giant pacific octopus

The giant pacific octopus also known as the North Pacific giant octopus is the largest

octopus species in the world.

They can lay as much as 100,000 eggs at a time.

The mother guards the eggs once they are laid.

She protects them against any fish with a caviar craving and the constantly wafts currents

of water over them to make sure the have a continual supply of oxinegated water.

The mother octopus will carry and protect the eggs for 53 months and once she's finally

done, she tries!

Octopusi are one of the unfortunate species that try after they make or give birth.

A male octopus will either fertilize a female's eggs himself, or he will give the female his

firm to keep until her eggs are ready to be fertilized.

After the task has been completed the male octopus will try, if that was the end result

for human inter horse I think I'd stick to the internet.

The female also tries about 2 months after the eggs are hatched.

If that's not enought, when mating, there is a risk that females get so hungry that

instead of banging they eat their potential dating companion.

And not like eating in a good way, they got full hand in ball spector on the male.

But to be honest that sounds better than some of my tinder dates.

It only takes two or so octopusi out of each clutch to survive and reproduce to keep an

octopus population steady.

We wish you the best of luck little baby octopuses!

Your lives sound horrible!

#4 Seahorse

Number 4 on our list is the seahorse.

When it comes to birth, the seahorse is probably the most progressive member of the animal

kingdom in regards to the division of labor.

You see what I did there?

Labor like the word for work but also the term for the process of giving birth.

I'm on fire today!

The first step in the pregnancy is that the female will deposite her unfertilized eggs

into the male, the male will carry the eggs in his pouch for about 45 days.

The male supplies the eggs with prolactin, which is the same hormone responsible for

milk production in pregnant mammals.

The daddy seahorse will also keep blood flowing around the embryos, control the salt concentrations

in the pouch, and provides oxygen and nutrition to his babies until it's time to give birth.

When the seahorse babies which are called fry, are ready to be born the male expels

them with muscular contractions.

Seahorse fathers can even experience some contractions while giving birth.

Seahorse male typically gives birth at night and is ready for the next batch of eggs by

morning when his mate returns.

Like most of the fish species, seahorses don't nurture their babies after giving birth.

Because of this only less than 0.5% of infants survive to adulthood due to thread at her

or sea temperature changes since their bodies are extremely delicate to them.

Its a real quantity of quality strategy.

#3

The strawberry toy seine-dart frog is a species indigenous to Central America.

It gets its name because the native human populations use the frog's powerful skin

toxins to lace arrow heads.

Which significantly aids in hunting.

These creatures may be as small as the size of a single pea, but their parenting skills

are titanic.

After mating, the female lays three to five eggs on a leaf then the dad makes sure that

eggs stay moisturized daily by your in ate thing on them.

Yep, he seas on his babies.

They're like the jungle version of are kelly.

But a littel less hip and a lot more hop.

Sam I'm good!

And these golden show hers actually help the eggs stay clean.

The father will also keep guard, constantly protecting the eggs from thread at her's,

removing any fungus accumulation and rotating the eggs before they hatch.

Once the eggs have hatched and the tadpoles are born the mother must carry each tadpole

to their own pool of water.

If she doesn't the tadpoles will eat each other cause they're horrible siblings.

After the babies are safe and separated the mommy frog will make, daily visits to feed

each tadpole 1 to 5 unfertilized eggs.

She does this for approximately two months until they begin turning into frogs.

During this time the dad will still keep a constant watch for thread at hers.

Although both male and female contribute to parental care, females invest more heavily

in terms of energy expenditure, time investment, and loss of potential reproduction.

You go girls!

#2

Cuckoos have figured out a genius and elegant sollution to the relieving themselves of the

difficult work of raising and caring for their babies.

Get someone else to do it!

Yup like a rich couple from beverly hills, Cuckoos fawn their young off on others.

Female cuckoos are super sneaky, they lay their eggs in another bird's nest.

This way the cuckoo tricks the other bird, which is usually a completely different species,

into taking on the huge responsobility and hard work of raising the chick.

The cuckoo chick usually hatches first and grows a lot faster forcing the other chicks

out of the nest, and they typically try.

Cuckoo chicks are like the worst house guests.

The baby Cuckoo then gets the full attention of its adoptive parents.

I looked it up and this is actually eytomology of the word buck.

So there's that...

#1 Yellow headed jawfish

Coming in at number 1 on our list is the Yellow-headed jawfish, also known as pearly jawfish due

to their pearlescent bluish body.

This Jawfish earns its spot at number one because of its high-level parenting skills

and dedication.

These fishes have a huge mouth which they'll use to fight thread at her's.

But that mouth has another important function.

Once the female has done her job fertilising the eggs, the male takes all of them and puts

them in his mouth.

He keeps them in their for 7 to 9 days which helps them stay clean and hydrated.

He occasionally spits them out and then collects them back, to ensure that the eggs also get

proper levels of oxygenated water.

When the eggs hatch, and the babies are completely on their own and the dad is finally free to

gargle some listerine

How Kittens Go From Clueless to Cute | Deep look - Duration: 3:59.

The beginning of life can be so fragile.

Kittens are born helpless, hungry.

They can barely get around on their own.

Their eyes are sealed shut and their ears folded up.

Their brains aren't developed enough to use those senses.

Instead, a kitten uses smell and touch to find its mother's milk.

And it needs constant warmth to survive.

This is what it will look like in just a few weeks.

Frisky.

Independent.

But in the early days, cat moms are on the hook for a lot.

So why are their babies born so underdeveloped?

Well, cats have big litters.

This mama had seven.

Hunting with a big belly isn't easy.

And growing that many babies takes a lot of energy.

So mom gives birth to them before they're fully baked.

They're what's known as altricial.

That's from the Latin root "to nourish."

Other baby animals are born with a head start.

Foals can stand up within an hour of being born.

They're precocial.

They don't need their moms as much.

So what about us?

Our ears and eyes are open, a sign our brains are further along than a kitten's.

But we're still pretty much just as helpless as they are.

We're considered secondarily altricial.

Animal shelter manager: I know, I know.

OK, back to those kittens.

In the spring, cats start having babies -- lots of them.

Animal shelter manager: OK.

"Kitten season" is a huge problem for animal shelters.

These two-week old kittens need to be hand-fed every few hours … day and night.

They can't even pee on their own.

They need stimulation from their foster mom, to mimic the licking their cat mom would do.

All this work makes it hard to find volunteers to care for these newborns.

So animal shelters like this one have partnered with the University of California, Davis,

They're trying to figure out if keeping the kittens extra warm and cozy -- like with

this incubator -- might make it possible for caretakers to feed them less frequently.

It's inspired by those mama cats, who do this tough job really well, nurturing their

What Most People Don't Know About Martha And Snoop - Duration: 5:56.

No other TV show comes close to being as oddly perfect as Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner

Party.

It's equal parts weird, educational, and hilarious.

A gangsta rapper pairing up with a grandmother and businesswoman might have seemed like a

recipe for failure, but the opposite couldn't be more true.

The show, with its rotating list of celebrity guests, has proven to be a ratings blockbuster

and hit with critics, even earning an Emmy nom.

The show returned for its second half of Season 2 in August 2018, and we couldn't be hungrier

for whatever these two are cooking up next.

But to quench your thirst between episodes, here's what you need to know about Martha

and Snoop.

"Just to clarify, I'm not high right now.

But whoever gave us this show, they musta been."

Real deal friendship

The idea of a cooking show with co-hosts Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart definitely sounds

absurd.

And, sure, they might be like oil and water on the surface, but their friendship is 100

percent genuine.

The pair have had a fondness for one another ever since Snoop was a guest on Martha back

in 2008.

"Is this Parkay or margarine?"

"No no.

This is butter."

"Unsalted butter.

And look…"

"I used to like that commercial...Par-kaaaay."

Over the years, their friendship has grown into what Snoop calls, quote, "a natural combination

of love, peace, and harmony."

"He was funny, he was amusing, he was nice, he has great intelligence, and I thought we

could get along, and he thought he could get along with me."

Watch a single episode and it's immediately obvious that the two have great chemistry.

Producer SallyAnn Salsano said,

"…I think it feels so good because you have two people that genuinely love each other

and respect each other, for real."

"People woulda never thought that we could have a relationship and have a friendship.

But that's what's wrong with people.

Stop judging the book by the cover."

Legalized Snoop

Saying that Snoop Dogg enjoys weed is an understatement.

And he isn't just playing a character either, he's very much the stoner buddy to his strait-laced

sidekick, and enjoys being high once the cameras start rolling.

"Hit it Snoop.

Hit it Snoop.

Hit it Snoop."

"Say go-go-go shorty, it's your birthday.

We gonna party like it's your birthday"

Stewart joked to the Washington Post,

"He comes onto the set pretty high, and leaves pretty high.…That's the way he lives."

And cooking under the influence seems to almost be a necessary ingredient for Snoop.

Why else would he put delicious potato chips and a dash of Colt 45 in a fried chicken recipe?

"Notice how I ain't used one utensil.

This would be considered east side Long Beach style."

He told the paper,

"Sometimes I may smoke one, sometimes I may smoke 100.

It depends on what's necessary for me to do what I'm doing."

"I wanna add the truffle topping.

It's like a mushroom."

"It's like a mushroom, do it do what mushrooms do, cuz if it is, I'm a fan of truffles now."

Martha feels the vibes

Stewart might not start her day by toking up with her co-star, but that's not to say

she hasn't come into contact with the stuff.

"Martha, have you ever tried a edible?"

"No of course not.

I'm square."

"Have you smoked with Martha?

Did Martha eat a edible yet?"

"I am square."

Apparently, the smoke is sometimes so prominent on the set, she told The Hollywood Reporter,

"I get kind of high from secondary smoke.

I'm not a smoker myself, but the smoke is quite thick around the set."

But it's not the first time the rapper's habit has rubbed off on Stewart.

"Let's get to the reason I'm here tonight, which is to give Justin Bieber some tips for

when he inevitably ends up in prison."

Stewart told Seth Meyers that while sitting next to Snoop during the taping of Justin

Bieber's Comedy Central roast, she got a contact high during the four hours it took to film

it.

"I was totally high by the...by the time I got...to that microphone.

Aye yie yie."

Snoop recounted the roast on the Howard Stern Show, saying,

"By the time she gets up there to tell her jokes…"

"She's whacked out of her head."

"She's whacked out of her head but she steals the f---ing show."

And just in case you need some proof:

"I walked into the chow hall, picked out the biggest bull d---, and I stuck her."

Tossing one back

"I'm gonna pour one out for my homie."

Snoop and Stewart might not be sharing, but that doesn't mean the two aren't celebrating

their success, and come happy hour, Stewart's all about wetting her whistle.

"Just a little bit of vodka, a tad of vermouth, and shake."

Snoop admitted to Jimmy Kimmel,

"She forces me to drink alcohol everyday on the show with her."

The rapper doesn't seem to be fudging the truth either.

So far, fans have seen the pair enjoy anything from beer to champagne, and bloody marys...on

the show.

"You gave me that before, didn't you?"

"No."

"Sangria?"

"Never."

"Well gimme some now"

Snoop admitted he has mostly given up drinking, but he obliges when he's offered a beverage

from his co-host, telling Kimmel,

"I don't drink anymore, but with her I have to drink"

"So Martha will get you a little drunk, but it doesn't go the other way?

We're workin' on that"

The Dogg can cook

Followers of Stewart know that she can cook like nobody's business, but when it comes

to the Doggfather, Martha says he can hold his own.

"Drip it, drop it, drop it, drip it.

Drip it.

Drop it.

Drip it."

She told CBS,

"His Cornish game hens that he made yesterday were the best thing so far on this show."

Snoop admitted that recipe came from his mother, but was quick to point out that working alongside

Martha has only made him more confident in the kitchen, telling AARP,

"Martha taught me how to make a pizza.

I'm talking about from scratch!"

A cookbook fo' shizzle?

"The first trick to the trade is you take some tata chips...we won this s--- already

yo."

If you regularly watch the show and salivate over Martha Stewart and Snoop's creations,

you're in luck.

A cookbook from the duo could soon be on the way.

"Everyone likes to get their freak on, right?"

"Where is this comin' from Martha?

We haven't even ate yet."

Let's be honest: who else is going to put out a cookbook that could potentially include

both truffle pizza and pork chops with a malt liquor glaze?

Stewart told the LA Times,

"We publish good, tested recipes.

That's important to me."

"By the way, unagi is an aphrodisiac."

"So is Viagra in that?"

The show has proved that just about anything is possible with these two, so who knows what

the future will hold.

But we can all agree that a Snoop and Martha cookbook would be, as Snoop might say, "off

the hizzy."

"For shizzle."

DIY Hair Bun Cages with the Creality LD-001 DLP 3D Printer - Duration: 15:10.

Hey everyone! Today I will be reviewing the Creality LD-001 3D printer.

Now this is a different kind of printer than I usually review.

Because instead of using melted plastic, it uses liquid epoxy.

I am going to explain more about how that works as we go along.

I usually use this baking sheet for messy projects.

And it's going to keep the resin from going all over the place.

Let me move the printer on the chair and put the baking sheet on the table.

From outside I think it's plastic, but it doesn't matter, and inside is all metal.

Let's take a look at the box.

Usually in the box it is just like tools.

Okay, this film for replacing the film at the bottom.

Inside we have a brush.

Upan, plastic spatula, some allen keys

Gloves and more gloves

Yes, they are all disposable gloves.

Power supply mass, mask

And they gave me two bottles of UV sensitive resin.

Let's power it on and level it so that we can try a test print.

So on the display looks like the default language is English

I don't have to change anything, let me double-check.

Click settings.

It is all in English.

Okay, right now I want to put the build plate in.

So I have to take the resin vet out first.

So I'm going to do that, wait a minute let me check

In order not to bump into the part on the top, I am going to raise it up a bit.

Okay now let's take the resin vet out.

Let's make the screw at the side of the build plate a little bit loose before we put it back in.

Because later when we level it, we want it to move freely.

So that it won't crash to the bottom.

So first let's put the build plate in.

There is a slot in the back

So you put this all the way in and then you lock it.

Lock it down.

And then we will insert a paper.

Let's press 0 and home it.

And then let's put our fingers on the build plate and tighten the screws.

Sometimes I just don't have time to write my own code.

But there is nothing wrong with borrowing something if it's perfect for the job.

This is a wonderful little OpenSCAD script my friend Jeremy Lee wrote for me.

It's for making a small hair piece with the text of your choice.

It's done in a program called OpenSCAD which you may have seen me used before.

And the great thing about OpenSCAD is you can change the design just by editing a few variables.

So here goes.

Alright I've downloaded slicer for the LCD printer. Now let's open it and take a look.

So you can switch language to Chinese or English here.

And the other tools they have is you can change the view from top to bottom and left to right.

And you can move, scale, spin and even change the orientation.

Now let's import our model.

Merit-bun.

Of course we need some support, so let's go to support.

Cone 50%.

I just need very light support, it will do.

Now let's go to auto add support.

Looks fine. I think this will work, next let's slice it.

Before we slice it, we have to save the file, so let's save the file.

Now you can click slice.

It's going to take about a minute or two.

It depends on how complicated the model is.

On the top you can change the layer thickness also.

Now we have our sliced print, we can export it to the Usb.

Let's export it.

Okay, I am going to try a test print.

But first I've got to put on my gloves and my mask because this stuff smells quite strong.

I am going to pour some resin in but first I think I need to move it up a little bit.

DLP printers use Ultraviolet light to cure resin and form the print.

But they can't quite cure it all the way.

The print will still be soft when we take it out

You can leave it outdoors to cure it, but that can take a while.

So I am going to build a simple cure chamber out of a plastic bucket.

A battery powered display turntable and a UV LED strip.

First I am going to drill a hole in the bucket.

Now I think I'm going to take the UV LED strip off the spool first.

And I want to make sure the light is ok. So let's test it.

12V, it's lighting up, so it's good.

Looks good. I think it's ready to use it on the test print.

Now let's see how the print came out.

Oh, it looks nice.

I'm just going to scrape the print off the build plate first.

Now I'm going to use some more isopropyl alcohol to clean the print.

I'm going to use my UV cure chamber.

I am just going to leave it for about an hour

then I will come back and take a look at it.

Okay, it has quite a bit of support on it.

But I think it should be easy to take off.

Okay, so that's the Creality LD-001 DLP Printer.

I'm happy with the hardware, build quality and output.

I would like to see some improvements with the slicing software though.

It's workable and gets the job done. But it's Windows only and it's got a few bugs.

I'll talk to Creality about that.

Remember DLP printers are quite a bit more messy than FDM printers

so be sure you absolutely need the higher resolution before investing in one.

Ok that's it for today, please subscribe and I'll see you all next time.
