No. 10 Penn State survives 45-38 in OT vs Appalachian State - Duration: 3:33.Amani Oruwariye intercepted a Zac Thomas pass in the end zone and No. 10 Penn State held on to beat Appalachian State 45-38 in overtime on Saturday, exactly 11 years after the Mountaineers stunned Michigan in one of the biggest upsets in college football history
Miles Sanders rushed 19 times for 91 yards with two touchdowns including the go-ahead score in overtime for the Nittany Lions (1-0)
But Penn State let a 31-17 lead evaporate when Appalachian State scored on three straight possessions over 5:53 in the fourth quarter and things were tense in Happy Valley
Advertisement Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley, who completed 21 of 36 passes for 230 yards and ran for two scores, led a game-tying drive that ended with a 15-yard touchdown pass to KJ Hamler with 42 seconds left
Thomas, who returned from injury to lead his team's comeback, completed 25 of 38 passes for 270 yards, threw for two touchdowns and ran for another for Appalachian State (0-1)
Jalin Moore ran 18 times for 88 yards and a touchdown and Malik Williams caught two touchdowns for the Mountaineers
In 2007, it was No. 5. Michigan fighting for its life at home against a Division I-AA team and when Corey Lynch blocked Michigan's field-goal attempt it sealed a 34-32 win
No Division I-AA team had ever beaten a team ranked in The Associated Press Top 25 poll between 1989 and 2006, and it's unlikely it had ever happened before
Afterward, the AP changed the way it conducted its poll, allowing schools from all divisions to be eligible to receive votes
Fast forward to 2018 and it was another storied Big Ten team on its heels against the Mountaineers, a Sun Belt Conference powerhouse that went 8-4 a year ago
Mountaineers kicker Chandler Stanton added a field goal but missed a 56-yarder wide right with 20 seconds left
Jake Pinegar kicked a 32-yard field goal for Penn State to tie the game 10-10 just before halftime

[4K UHD] Viking boat on the 100 Krone bill - Norway 2016 [CC Subs] - Duration: 6:53.Welcome to Numismat
From Norway, today we have the 100 krone banknote
There are many myths about the Viking culture, however, something that goes beyond the myth, is its advanced nautical technology and navigation
It is because of all this that Norway pays homage to its Viking ancestors with the 100 krone bill presenting this beautiful design with nautical motifs
In warm tones, this beautiful ticket presents on its obverse the Gokstad, the largest Viking boat preserved to this day
Also in the background one of the Norwegian most important advances is observed:An X-BOW, the most efficient bow design in the world
This piece is full of details, look at the effect of the chains when moving the banknote and at macro level it is simply spectacular
In addition to its safety, this banknote has one of the designs more beautiful if you like maritime motives
See how it moves and the effect we can see when tilting it.
Now in macro
Look at those wavy lines, in macro there are micro engravings with the name of the bank and the denomination. What a beauty
Here we have more micro details that look great in macro, perfectly well defined
The puffin is a bird native to the Scandinavian coasts and here we can see three of them. Look at this
Issued in 2016, this banknote in addition to the 200 krone, is one of the most beautiful and safe
The puffin spends autumn and winter in the cold north seas and returns to the coast in the spring.
Here is a curious detail:What appear to be the seams, are actually micro texts. Look at macro level
Again our friend the puffin appears under ultraviolet light
Now let's look at the reverse side of this ticket
A freighter, stars and globes are the main motifs
We can see part of the Orion constellation, always useful for navigators
A loaded boat sailing through the gentle breeze It tells us the importance of maritime transport. all full of micro prints.
Until today, the maritime industry is very important for Norway because a large part of materials still arrive by ship to this country
The details that we can find are very nice. Look at those micro texts
This piece is usually found at an approximate price of $20 USD or $400 Mexican pesos
When we see it against the light, we can also see a puffin that appears in the white section of the banknote, in addition to the security band with the denomination and the initials of the bank
Two pieces accompany us today
One pound sterling of the royal bank of Scotland with Lord Ilay on the obverse
On the reverse the castle of edinburgh, look at that beauty
From Argentina, 10 pesos. Manuel Belgrano on the obverse
On the reverse a beautiful allegory of the creation of the Argentina flag
What did you think of the Norwegian ticket with Viking and maritime motifs? Do you know the one of 200 krone? Leave your opinion in the comments.

Palestinians: When was Palestine established? - Duration: 18:29.When was Palestine created and who created it?
Ashraf Bethlehem
I think Palestine was created in the days of the Canaanites
but me as a Palestinian youth
as a 28 year old youth
I became aware of Palestine
during the time of Abu Amar, Yasser Arafat
he was the one who planted the seed of love
in our hearts for Palestine
You can say he is our leader
In the ancient times, who were the rulers then?
How long ago?
2000 years ago
3000 years ago
Canaanite times
Before or during?
Anything before 1948
Somebody said "Jordan"
Before that
England
Before
Before England
Turkish people
I don't understand what you mean exactly
do you mean in terms of the mandates
No, way before, in Canaanite times who were the Canaanite rulers of Palestine?
I don't really know the names I don't remember
Was there a capital?
The capital exists
in our hearts
but the map, the borders
excuse me, it's all just ink on paper
the capital since the times of Salah al Din
the caliphate
since the Crusaders
it's been Jerusalem
Was there a flag back then?
No
I don't think so
Who established Palestine?
Ali Bethlehem
Palestine or the Palestinian revolution?
First Palestine and then the revolution
Palestine was established long ago since the time of the Prophets
even before the Prophets
it was founded since the Canaanites
It was called Palestine?
Yes
What was the capital of ancient Palestine?
The capital of ancient Palestine is what we call Jerusalem
Who were the ancient rulers the kings of Palestine?
I don't know, to be honest
Was there a Palestinian currency?
Yes, there was a Palestinian currency
When?
During the British Mandate
What was the flag?
It's been the same flag ever since
Does he know when it started
We know we have had the Palestinian flag
since the Palestinian revolution
Which was when?
In the 1950s
Nahala Bethlehem
It's difficult
When?
Just guess. You don't have to know...
When do you think Palestine was founded, created?
Many years ago, thousands of years
What was the capital of ancient Palestine?
It was Jerusalem and still is
Who were the rulers, the kings of Palestine?
The king of Palestine
Or ruler
Was there? I don't know
I don't know
Was there a Palestinian currency?
Yes
Geneh (pound)
It's called Geneh (pound)
When was that?
You want a certain time? I don't know
100 years ago? 1000 years ago?
I think 100 years ago...
It was many countries not Palestine
4-5 countries
Which countries?
Jordan, Lebanon, Syria
Geneh? I will look it up (likely the Egyptian pound)
Was there a flag for Palestine?
In ancient times
In ancient times, I don't know
What was the flag, if there was a flag
and he was saying "no, there wasn't a flag"
According to our studies there was no flag
Abduallah Nablus
In the beginning, or before
it was "Balad al Sham", the Levant
a Canaanite land
A lot of civilizations like the Romans
and the capital used to be a city called Jebus
which is Jerusalem today
Do you know anything about the currency?
The currency used to be the Shekel
Like Shekel in English
When was that?
Maybe like 100 years ago
Do you know a year?
I don't remember
But I do remember it was ruled by the Ottoman
Palestine used to be the land of Canaan
Montaser Nablus
Before the occupation
Palestine had a currency which is the Palestinian pound
Before the occupation it was the Palestinian pound
I think the shekel used to be
the currency of the Canaanites
The shekel used to be their currency the Canaanites
Palestine did used to have a flag
If you go back to before 1948 there used to be a passport
There was a currency you can see the pictures
What about the ancient rulers, the ancient capital?
Who was the Sultan, ruler, king?
It was part of the Levant
I don't know who the rulers are
When and who established Palestine?
Mohammad Bethlehem
The Canaanites
The word "Palestine"
is a Canaanite word
Does he know what it means?
there is an island
that is 12 hours away from Athens
that is called Philis
Philistius
and that's where Palestinians came from
there are people who live there
who still have the same traditions as Palestinians
Are there any famous kings or leaders from that time?
from the Canaanites until 100 years ago
I don't know - I don't know either
What was the capital of Palestine then?
It was and still is, Jerusalem
Was there a flag?
There was one flag that united the Levant area
There was one flag that united them all
but then afterwards it was divided
and she said, after the first world war
the second world war
Do they know if there was a currency?
The Palestinian pound
That was in the 1920s under the British
Yes, 80 years ago
Was there something before that?
The Ottoman currency
Sana Nablus
History says it was the Canaanites
there are lots of stories about it
I tend to believe that
it was no one specific
It has always been a variety of people
It has always been
lots of cultures
have been in this land
lots of people, lots of thoughts
things that people tried to build here
Just the
now days people
who define the culture
When do you think the concept of Palestine was created?
I think it was always created
in any land, in any history
created when it's
occupied, when the first land was occupied
Meaning when people moved here
That was millions of years ago
But if we can call it now days
probably in 1919
1919
What happened then? - when the British came
and all these things started
and then people started to think differently - Yes
that's when people realized they have to fight
they have something that will be taken from them
that's when they started to fight
that's when they started the
revolutions
So what do you think in 1918 under the Ottomans or before that
what do you think people were thinking?
I think it was always
the years before that was a pressure built on people
the house demolitions
Under the Ottomans?
Yes, the political
I think the Ottomans were so bad
They were closer nothing could go in or out
They tried to be so closed
They say it's because they didn't want to lose any of their culture
or they did not want anything wierd
or different
to be in
but they have
obviously failed
obviously
and that's why...
Were there rulers, who were
I don't understand - Rulers
leaders of Palestinians
was it always the Ottoman or the Byzantines
The last Ottoman leader
No, not Ottoman leader a Palestinian leader
for Palestine
You cannot see a Palestinian leader
because there was only Yasser Arafat before
I don't believe in Yasser Arafat actually
I am not a person who is a supporter of his politics
or for his way or methods
I don't see him as a
hero
So you think it started with Arafat?
It started like this history says that
If that is our history then we are a big failure actually
because he sold us
that's my opinion
maybe he did not have a choice
In what sense did he sell you? just to clarify for the viewer
how do you not agree? in thirty seconds
I think that
if we need a hero, if we need a leader
then it's not the
maybe if I said my opinion it won't be a good thing
Meaning it's harsher than what Arafat said?
No, it's not just Arafat
It will be something people won't like to hear
Which people won't like to hear?
Every single Palestinian actually
I am not going to get you in trouble
I will maybe, that's why
I think the method the Palestinians are taking now
is the wrong thing that is happening
I think that every culture and every
nation
must be
scientific
and must get
to the point where they realize
only the pencil and paper will change
we are so far from the method of
stones and the method of bullet
the world has evolved
and obviously
the cities and the places that we see
good ones that made so far
they are taking this method
The people now, their technology
more ways of the stone so far more than this
Israeli people, I think they have realize this
they have moved from this
so we should too
if we want to make our case
then we should do this
we should be more
looking to the future - Yes, we should do that
we should be
cultured, educated
we should be more educated - informed
We should take care of this
this direction
move forward to this
not be violent
I think violence won't bring anything other than more violence
and that's what we don't need
We are actually not that strong
If we were that strong
then we would
Palestine would have been free since
forever
but it's not like this
When we realize this
it will be free

New Signing Mini Series - Duration: 2:55.what's up whats good everyone?
I'm starting a new mini series on YouTube for ASL
so this video is explaining all of that
First I must say,
that a person does not have to be a certified professional to learn or help other people with ASL
the entire ASL community is an amazing place to meet new people
My ASL mentor, who was born deaf,
has been such a huge inspiration for my entire journey of learning ASL and becoming a part of this community
ASL is continually evolving and changing
just like anything would in arts or technology or life Society anything
just within this last year, I've taken quite a few ASL classes going over the difference between new signs and old signs
the similarities, why they changed, and how they got implemented
which is all great to keep in mind if different age groups say that your signing is inaccurate
it might be inaccurate, but it also could be a word that that person didn't know has been implemented into the community
my mentor and I have gone to several different local deaf events
and through those I've noticed that there are a lot of people in the deaf community who feel alone and isolated
because not enough hearing people know how to sign.
I usually like to compare it to the thought of like imagining
yourself going to a completely different country and not knowing the language
nobody knows your language and you have to live there your entire life
and then like one day somebody knows like five words of your language
and you just get like so excited that somebody finally understands at least something about your language
so I highly encourage anyone who is starting this journey to ASL to just go full steam ahead just go like all in
even if you only end up learning the basics,
someone who's lonely would really really appreciate just a simple "hello how are you?"
knowing that I wanted to create this playlist on YouTube so that anyone anywhere can just watch these videos and learn a few basic things
like alphabet, colors, maybe some basic conversational stuff, foods maybe
I mean if you want to become an interpreter then yes of course I would sign up for some college classes
so that you could become certified
and my intentions here aren't to provide 100% fluency
but rather to provide a springboard for people who are interested in entering this community
that really needs more support and caring thoughtful people
don't forget to have fun cuz this language is just so beautiful and amazing
and don't let trolls discourage you from trying to make new friends
and that is the new series
