Many people make New Year's resolutions to kick a bad habit or to get into better shape.

Unfortunately, it's not uncommon to revert to old habits or bad behavior after just a few weeks.

first : Start by choosing of the positive habit you want to adopt.

As you start trying to change your habits, you can run into situations where old behaviors,

like lying on the couch watching television, might feel like a better option than studying or exercise

When this happens, resist the temptation by reminding yourself

that this is a normal, temporary phase on the path to a great new lifestyle.

Gebietsstrukturen modifizieren mit EasyMap DistrictManager - Duration: 4:18.

In the previous videos we created a new territory structure and created locations.

Now we would like to design the map.

The following map elements of the territory structure will be adjusted:

Districts - Areas, Districts - Borders, Districts - Labels, District - Locations.

Let's start with the level Districts - Areas.

You can change individual colors or names in the work table for Districts

by left-clicking in the appropriate field.

If you want to adjust all colors,

open in the control window Territory Organization the context menu of the Districts

and select the menu item Optimization and Color Optimization.

With a Random Color Optimization you determine brightness and saturation of the colors

and all Districts are colored accordingly differently.

We select the point User-Defined

and add another color.

We change these to light blue.

The option Hierarchical is only available from 2 area levels.

We click on "OK" and our districts will be colored in the 5 selected colors.

We change for the further modifications in the Control Window Content.

With a double click we reach the properties of the Districts - Borders.

In the segment "Line", we choosen the Style "Internal borders"

to the Line Width 1.5 pt

Cand the Line color on gray.

Next we open the properties of the Districts - Labels also with a double click.

In the section "Label" We change the Font

by clicking on the button with the three dots.

We choose the typeface fat

and the font size 14 pt.

We set the Font Color to the same gray as the borders.

So that the inscription moves better into the foreground,

we choose a Text Box with a white Fill Color

and set a Transparency of 30 via "Fill Effects".

We set the Border Color back to gray.

Finally, we adjust the properties of the District-Locations.

We select a symbol from the quick selection under the section "Symbol Style"

here a house with edge.

We change the Color System to Uniform Color

and choose a lighter grey as the color.

Under the section "Label" we change the Font Color to gray.

When Districts - Labels and District-Locations overlap on the map,

then you can move single District-Label on the map by Drag&Drop.

Via the Control Window Objects

we drag a Text onto the map under the menu "Freehand Graphics".

By 2 clicks with the left mouse button on the Text we can change the wording directly.

We write our title "Territory structure" in it.

After we have imported our customer table, we create a point layer for our customers for further sales territory planning.

EasyMap not only allows territory planning on the basis of areas, such as postal code areas,

but also on the basis of customer points.

If you want to work with customer points, you need a table,

that contains the basic customer data and a spatial reference.

The basic data consists of the IDs and the names of the customers.

At least one of the two columns must be available and unambiguous.

All alphanumeric expressions are permitted.

For example, you may use postal codes or geographical coordinates for the spatial placement of customers.

We switch on the planning mode via the main menu Territory Organization.

Via the navigation window Territory Organization we reach all functions for territory planning.

Click on the "Create New Point Layer..." icon to start the wizard.

First, we enter the name of the level and the individual points in both singular and plural.

We click on the "Next" button.

In the second step, we enter the basic customer data.

The imported table Kundenstamm contains a column with the customer IDs

and a column with the customer names.

Click on the "Next" button to proceed to the next step.

Since the table contains geographical coordinates of the customers,

Check that the latitude and longitude are selected in the corresponding columns.

We select the generated customer points as the brick level.

After we have successfully completed the wizard,

we see the layers for

the customer points as well as the areas, symbols, boundaries and labels of districts.

You can also see these layers on the map.
