COCONUT PROTEIN COFFEE RECIPE | Homemade Coconut Cappuccino - Duration: 4:35.
Hi guys my name is Christina I'm a nutritional health coach and Nutritional
therapist and I upload delicious healthy recipes, nutritional and lifestyle
tips every week. If you are new to this channel and if these topics interest you,
then do hit the subscribe button to be notified when a new video goes live. In
this video I'm going to share with you one of my favorite ways of enjoying
coffee. I used to be addicted to coffee. if you have been following me from the
beginning of this channel, one of my very first videos was how to cut down on
caffeine and the reason why I was qualified is because I used to be an
addict. I used to drink four coffees per day. Now this has changed. I'm
actually not that much addicted. I drink coffee whenever I feel like it. I can go
days without drinking coffee. But now there are times when I would like to
drink coffee and count my blessings and just be mindful and there are times that I
want to spice it up a little bit. Spice my coffee a little bit and adding
things that I know that are beneficial for my health
and this is and this recipe was created off the back of me being a little bit
more creative with what I was adding to my coffee and making my own type of
cappuccino, because my favorite type of coffee is cappuccino I have to say.
Cappuccino with oat milk and so I wanted to create something similar or a little
bit more adventurous and at the same time that actually will have some beneficial
effects on my brain and I think I found it and I'm going to share that with you.
Are you excited? mmm I think you should be okay let's go
SO go ahead and prepare filtered coffee as you would normally do.
one cup of filtered coffee is actually enough for two cups of my healthy
protein coffee recipe. Pour the coffee in a blender and pour a cup of the non-dairy
milk such as coconut milk, cashew milk, almond milk or oat milk whatever is your
preference or whatever is available at the time to you. Add 2 tbsp of unflavored
protein powder. I'm using unflavored collagen powder but you can use a vegan
option instead. I have provided some alternatives in the description of this
video. I then add 2 tbsp of coconut oil to incorporate some healthy fats to
ensure that I'm satisfied for a long period of time and to create some froth.
Blend everything for a few seconds. Pour it in two cups and enjoy.
Cheers what do you think guys would you
experiment with it a little bit. I highly recommended you if you did drink coffee
then do experiment with this recipe as well to see if you like it or not. I
know that a lot of people like their coffee very strong and this is not for
those people I guess because it's more of a mild flavour. now I also have a
Facebook group and if you would like to get an accountability or support from
like-minded people then join the group
and I'll be there doing live streams with tips and tricks on health and also
live streamers with interviews with experts from different areas so this
definitely is a place to be. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up. It
will mean the world to me because I know that you have enjoyed it and if you
enjoyed it then do share it with anyone you think will find it useful and guys I
will see in the next episode bye

How To Get Rid of Fear Of Missing Out? #FOMO - Sadhguru - Duration: 9:02.
Security one of the most trending questions that we have your on campus is
for mo the fear of missing out we we have the fear of missing out on
activities we have the fear of missing out on replacements we have the fear of
missing out on anything whatsoever under proved so security I have a question for
you your is when do we realize that it's the end we have to stop this and this
should not influence our decision making I think a lot of our community would
resonate to this question and we want your perspective on yourself
so yeah fear of missing out let's look at lack little beyond your your stay in
the educational institution is only a transition I need to equip yourself for
something you have come you have not come to an educational institution as a
destination it's a packaging place so package you nicely so that you're going
to you package pretty well today so not making a commentary on education but how
we go through it about missing out the fear of missing ah first of all fear
let's address fear before we address missing out fear is always about what
may happen or may not happen right fear is not about what is what we are
experiencing right now what will happen is always the fear or in other words
your fear is about something which is not yet your fear is about something
which does not exist this is all management people if there were a few
somebody from a psychiatric Department you could have asked them if I have fear
about something that does not exist what is my condition they would have a title
for you yes romance is close by I think we can
always consult that is also a premier institution we are suffering something
which doesn't even exist yes if you are suffering something that doesn't even
exist it is not about life it is not about education it's not about Korea it
is just about your mind being out of control is that not an important aspect
that you should manage first before we allow you to manage an industry or a
business is it not important first of all you learn to at least manage your
mind hello isn't it important if you do not know how to manage your mind what
the hell are you going to manage in the world
managers are all freaking out and growing ulcers in their stomachs yes
today it's become normal if you are a CEO by 45 if you don't have an ulcer you
are not a great CEO because you are managing by accident like this the fear
comes because there is an accidental possibility isn't it tell me let's say
you don't know how to ride a bicycle you set on it it won't stand you are just
pedaling for fun and it came off stand and started rolling anxiety or started
rolling faster fear or no very fast terror or no it's not because bicycle
produces terror it is just that you don't know how to ride if you know how
to ride faster it goes the better it is isn't it faster it goes the better it is
the very very basis why we created a bicycle is because we wanted to go
faster than walking that's the idea but if you do not know how to ride how much
fear it creates right now your problem is not with the world your problem is
not with your education your problem means your education system right from
kindergarten hasn't told your damn thing about how to
manage yourself they think you're going to manage the world without knowing how
to manage yourself when you are a mess you can only create a mess isn't it you
may be successful success happens for variety of reasons you know success is
not always 100% yours there are situations there are times which support
us in many different ways of course your bit is there but just because somebody
is successful this doesn't mean they figured out everything this doesn't mean
they're at ease with life this doesn't mean their life is in some way fulfilled
no because today our idea of success is just doing little better than somebody
else you doing little better than somebody else means and you're very
happy about that what it means is you're actually enjoying other people's
failures if somebody enjoys another person's failure I call that sickness
not success what do you call it hello I enjoyed that you failed this is
sickness this is not success isn't it unfortunately this is how you're going
this is the reason why human potential is not unleashed because if you are
racing with a lame person you just happy you're one step ahead of him only when
you meet missile Bold you understand who the hell you are
yes till then you think you are a great runner because other person doesn't have
legs so it's very important that there is nothing to miss out in life life is
happening to all of us question is only if I miss this party I am I missing out
something if I miss this examination I am missing out something if I miss this
job am I missing out something this is simply because right now who you are is
not internally managed it is externally stimulated
you you're still in a very controlled camera so very beautiful campus you have
I have to say wonderful campus and you are in a very controlled campus
atmosphere when you step out into the world if you leave it to the people to
decide what happens within you they're going to drive you crazy in no time here
it's all managed for you you are not managing this it's managed for you what
should happen to you what should not happen to you somebody else is managing
it when you step out on the street if you leave it to other people's hands
that they can decide whether you're happy or unhappy you're going to be
miserable for sure because they want to do many things what happens within you
must be determined by you within it and anyway why are you copying people most
people don't know what the hell they're doing this happened Shankaran Pillai
joined Pentagon he was working in Pentagon then he kept moving his work
table from one office to another office another office to another office he went
on moving around then he moved to the corridor he moved into the guard and he
moved here there then he moved into the men's restroom and settle down there and
started working everybody was looking at this what's wrong with him some problem
initially they thought he's a Russian agent then then he thought he must be a
Muslim terrorist then they thought all those things and everything ran out he
didn't cause any harm to anybody then he settled down in the men's restroom and
started working so they told the Pentagon's psychiatrist that this guy's
gone loony he's working in the men's room and he settle down and he's just
doing his work there so the psychiatrist just rolled in as if he wanted to use
the men's room and started chatting then he found he was quite normal everything
was fine with him he said why are you sitting in a men's room and working he
said I mowed everywhere and so in the end I find this is the only damn place
where people know what they're doing

Lab Notes - Unrefined tea tree oil tests and stoichiometry tests - September 26th 2018 - Duration: 12:28.
Greetings fellow nerds.
We're in the final stretch of our project to make sodium by the alcohol catalyzed magnesium reduction process.
If you haven't been keeping up with my channel for the past couple of months then you might be a bit lost but that's okay.
Briefly i've been trying to make sodium by reacting magnesium metal and sodium hydroxide, in mineral oil with a tertiary alcohol catalyst.
There have been lots of issues that i've documented in past lab note videos including trying to find a workable solvent,
reaction times, processing methods in dioxane, preventing glassware destruction
and trying to dry the reagents using easy to obtain drying agents like aluminum and lithium metal.
Recently i've been trying to find alternatives for the most critical part of the process, the tertiary alcohol catalyst.
The existing catalysts that were made earlier this year are excellent and work exceedingly well.
But take a lot of work to make so an easy off-the-shelf catalyst would be preferable even if lesser but still reasonable performance can be obtained.
After some tests without catalysts, and using some longer chain primary alcohols.
It was concluded that tertiary alcohols were necessary.
The most promising domestically available tertiary alcohol was tea tree oil.
Although it gives low yield and the sodium produced comes out in tiny spheres which reduces yield even further as some of it passes through the sieve.
Now i ordered a liter of tea tree oil online so i can try and purify it but while i wait for delivery i wanted to run a few more experiments to make best use of my time.
First i wanted to do a practice run using lithium as the starter and do everything at once in one pot.
But it turned out that 40g of sodium hydroxide and 30g of magnesium was simply too much to stir.
The reason why i was able to use so much reagents in prior videos was because i did the drying step separately
and that actually ground down the sodium hydroxide into a powder so i could subsequently add magnesium without clogging the system.
So if want to do everything at once i should use smaller amounts.
So i setup a new run this time at half scale using just 20g of sodium hydroxide with 15g of magnesium and a single lithium battery as the starter.
I also wanted to test out unpurified tea tree oil some more since a single experiment doesn't necessarily prove tea tree oil is unworkable.
So i started heating and went through the drying process where we heat to 125 celsius for a few hours
and then we went to the sodium production temperature at 200 celsius andů ohhh crap.
*sigh* Well f*** you too.
So after i cleared the fly out i started all over again.
20g of sodium hydroxide, 15g of magnesium metal, 150mL of mineral oil and 1.2mL of straight tea tree oil.
This time i stuffed some paper towel in the bubbler to keep out suicidal flies.
They'll need to find some other amateur chemist to end their existence.
As usual i heated up to 125 celsius and held for a few hours to dry out the sodium hydroxide and protect the glassware.
Then i raised up to operating temperature at 200 celsius and held for 36 hours to produce sodium metal.
Pouring through the sieve this time it still has the coalescence problem as in my previous video and produced small sodium spheres.
So it's not a one time error, tea tree oil might have sodium coalescence problems.
Anyway, i poured the sodium back in the flask and performed the dioxane separation process to try and get a sodium yield.
Recovering the sodium this is all we got.
I measured the mass to be about 4g out of an expected 11.5g for about 34% .
So tea tree oil does work, just not very well.
34% is just barely acceptable though being somewhat worse than our 40% for the thermochemical dioxane process.
Now i suspect we lost most of our yield through the sieve during the original filtration if the sodium was too small to collect.
So i poured some of the slurry into water to see if there was sodium level reactivity.
And it looks like there is.
So we might have indeed higher yield.
But something about tea tree oil makes it hard for the sodium to coalesce together.
Now i know what you're thinking.
What about the lithium jumpstart.
This is the first time i'm using lithium in a full production run so maybe it's causing the bad sodium coalescence.
This is not a bad idea, we did see lithium interfering with sodium coalescence in earlier experiments so maybe it's the lithium.
So i ran a new experiment this time with a sodium jumpstart.
3.5g of sodium metal in addition to our current set of 20g sodium hydroxide, 15g magnesium, 150ml mineral oil and 1.2mL tea tree oil.
Once again we go through the start up procedure of drying at 125 celsius for a few hours before ramping to 200 and letting it run.
Interestingly this time we got backflow at just 11 hours indicating the reaction had stopped.
I'm not sure if this is a good sign.
Pouring off the slurry this time the sodium coalescence is much better.
Most of the sodium stuck together as desired and remained in the flask.
So maybe the lithium is really is the problem.
I then ran the dioxane separation process as usual and obtained sodium.
Weighing it this time we get about 7.6g.
But keep in mind we started with 3.5g of sodium in the jumpstart reaction.
So our actual yield is about 4.1g.
We haven't done much better than earlier with lithium.
So overall this tea tree oil just isn't doing well.
I definitely think the next step is refining it somehow.
Unfortunately i can't do that until my shipment arrives.
So i'm going to do another unrelated experiment i've been meaning to do but haven't had the time for, a substoichiometric run.
So far almost all of my experiments have been using a stoichiometric excess of magnesium to sodium hydroxide.
I did this primarily for consistency purposes to overcome depleting factors like excess water in the sodium hydroxide, oxygen in the air destroying our yield,
the fact that alcohol also depletes a small quantity of reductant and so on.
But having an excess of magnesium means we always needed a dioxane separation step.
It would be awesome if we could avoid that and just have pure sodium produced directly.
Magnesium is also the more expensive reagent compared to sodium hydroxide.
Saving it would be more cost effective.
So i setup a new run consisting of 20g of sodium hydroxide and just 10g of magnesium metal which is lower than the stoichiometric equivalent of 12.15g.
I also had 3.5g of sodium metal jumpstart and the usual tertiary alcohol of 3-ethyl-3-pentanol along with 150mL of mineral oil.
I'm not using tea tree oil for our catalyst in this experiment as i want to keep this run comparable to our other high yielding runs.
Interestingly enough something very strange happened, the reaction never stopped.
It kept producing hydrogen but got slower and slower and slower.
Eventually it would take ten minutes between hydrogen bubbles but never stopped and back flowed like all my other runs.
After 3 days i refused to spend more time and stopped the reaction.
I processed it like usual pouring off the slurry and boiling with dioxane to purify the sodium.
So far it looks good, this is a respectable sodium yield.
Now keep in mind we had a 3.5g sodium jumpstart so our actual yield is 9.2g.
Our expected yield is 9.45 so we're doing pretty good at 97% yield based on magnesium limiting reagent.
This is consistent with our other runs that also had high yield.
Checking in the dioxane was can see there is leftover magnesium.
Unfortunately this is not what we wanted.
If this worked and all the magnesium was used up then there shouldn't be any leftover magnesium.
The point of this experiment was to use up all the magnesium so we wouldn't need a dioxane separation step.
But it seems this will never be the case.
What i think is happening is that as the quantity of the magnesium gets smaller and smaller the rate of reaction gets smaller and smaller as well.
This makes sense because the magnesium surface area is reduced.
But as such it'll take an extremely long time to consume every last bit of magnesium.
It also took us 3 days to get this far.
Rather than saving time we ended up taking more time.
But i suppose if you can accept magnesium contamination then this isn't that bad.
You can avoid the dioxane separation step and use your sodium for more forgiving purposes like storing and drying solvents
or performing robust reactions that don't require high purity sodium.
For my future experiments I'm going to continue using an excess of magnesium so things finish faster.
But at least we learned that using a substoichiometric amount is acceptable if you accept either lower yields, or longer reaction times.
Now you might wondering, if a substoichiometric amount of magnesium ran very slowly, would a super stoichiometric excess run super fast?
Since i had nothing better to do with my time while i waited for me tea tree oil shipment i indeed ran that experiment.
This time i used an equal amount of magnesium to sodium hydroxide at 20g each, much higher than all previous runs.
Unfortunately it still took about two days which is consistent with my other runs.
This is likely because alcohol concentration and other factors also put limits on the rate so there is no one variable we can improve to substantially increase it.
Oh well. At least we know that throwing more magnesium at it would be a waste.
Okay, that's it for lab notes for now.
Hopefully my tea tree oil will arrive soon and we can go through the process of purification to get something better.
Now moving on.
I'd like to announce a giveaway of some molecular model kits.
For those of you that don't know, molecular model kits are used by chemistry professors to extort money from chemistry students.
They also have a lesser known use to build molecules for demonstrating molecular structures.
Now i know you're going to say there are hundreds of model kits out there and they're really easy to buy online.
Heck if you were really stingy you could make your own models from gumdrops and toothpicks.
What's so special about these kits that i'm giving away.
These particular ones have magnets inside so they stick together.
It's always fun to play with magnets.
And the magnets have been strategically placed so they enforce the geometry.
Let me demonstrate by making ethane.
And there we go, that's ethane, and as you can see, we have sp3 hybridized carbons with their associated tetrahedral geometry.
We even have free rotation about the carbons.
Interestingly the surfaces have been further engineered to enforce geometry of double bonds.
Let me do a basic dehydrogenation reaction of removing these hydrogens.
Now if we reconnect the carbons we have ethylene with the correct planar geometry.
But more importantly the texture on the surface of the carbons makes this hard to rotate.
You'll actually break the bond if you try.
This matches with the actual molecule that doesn't allow rotation for sp2 hybridized carbons like this.
Now granted, most well-designed model kits enforce geometry.
But i like this one since it's more fun and intuitive to do it with magnets than just plastic sticks for bonds.
And for other model kits, you have to use different carbon atoms for sp3, sp2 and sp hybridizations.
Here the same carbon atom has functionality to do it all like you find in nature.
Now i know some of you are going to accuse me of being paid for this plug.
But unlike all the other times i've been a greedy money grabbing bastard, this time i'm not.
I am getting no compensation whatsoever for this.
I just happen to know the makers of these kits and i was able to procure a bunch at a discount.
I got about twenty kits and i'll be giving out half to my top patreon contributors, a quarter to random contributors, and a quarter to random youtube subscribers.
The only thing you have to do to participate in this giveaway is to be a patron or be a subscriber and comment on this video.
You have more chances if your are patron though due to smaller sample size.
I'll announce the lucky winners in my next vlog.
If you like these kits and want to buy your own directly you can visit the website of the creators at realatoms.com, I've also included link in the video description.

Cute Puppy Bow - Duration: 2:28.
Now we're going to make this really cute puppy bow.
So, I'm going to start with my Mini Bowdabra and my Bowdabra Bow Wire.
I fold my Bowdabra Bow Wire in half, lay it into the Mini, and just tuck it underneath.
Then I'm going to take this really pretty webbed luminescent tulle.
And the last piece, I'm just going to fold it and scrunch everything in.
Take my Mini Bowdabra wand and just scrunch it all down.
Then I'm going to take my puppy paw ribbon, and I'm going to fold a little curve in
the middle and just push that down in here.
Then I'm going to take two of my little—it's Bowdabra Zebra ribbon.
Take my wand and just scrunch everything in.
Then I have these two pieces of ribbon, and we're going to do a fold and twist bow,
so I'm going to twist it, push that down, fold it and twist it, and push it down.
And I'm going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire -- oops, take out my wand, bring it up like
this.
Pull it through my slipknot.
Hold my bow down.
Pull it really tight while it's still in the Bowdabra.
Bring it out.
Separate my ends.
Bring it around to the back.
And I'm going to leave the ends, because I'm going to tie this onto the collar of
my puppy.
Shape it out.
Then I have my paw, and I've already put an adhesive dot on there, but you can use
a glue gun.
In fact, I would probably recommend using a glue gun when you make this for your puppy.
And then you just tie it on the collar.
And see how pretty that looks?
It's a really, really simple puppy bow.

Old Japanese 100 mon 1835-1870 - Duration: 7:35.
sorry hello yeah like--on collectors are
you going today my name is Glenn and
today I'm back with some Japanese
currency mmm
so what coin is this do you have any
idea well let's have a look so on this
side we have the denomination up the top
he says tall Hayaku or in Cantonese come
on young man
yeah but yeah oh sorry I've got to be
confusing
yes so this symbol down here is 100 and
this just means to equate to so this has
a value of 100 and this is actually in
the Monde denomination but it actually
doesn't say one on it so on this side it
just says to equal equal 100 Mon so this
is a 100 normal coin and as you can see
it's quite rectangular it's quite big do
I have a modern coin that I could assess
it against the Australian 20 cent coin
which is currently circulates as you can
see it actually is a Bitcoin and it's
actually circulated between 1835 and
1870 now the reason why they issued this
coin was um Japan had was debasing the
silver and gold coinage so they decided
because the Hmong coins have become less
value they're also bad for the that
their copper and bronze content
depending on where it's made depending
on the metal it's in it so they would
have had that value but you would
blossom a you compared to our silver and
gold so they introduced 101 for local
circulation and actually circulated
quite extensively and there's quite a
few varieties probably too many then
what this should be
so these are actually casts I believed
our cast they look like tail cast and
they have these ones also off-speed as
well so here I have two Chinese coins so
I had this one up here I'm not too sure
what period daddies I haven't looked it
up that she won Tong Bao so don't know
who that used the Emperor
this is a wushu so this we need a
circulation probably BAM Oh 600 AD so
bet 1400 years ago but a de Savoie so
the Japanese mom was based on this coin
so one of these coins in Japanese was
just someone and this is 101 on this
side we have a 10 pole 2 hole
so this is means heaven protection so
heavenly protection or divine protection
and temple was just a period between
1830 in 1844 it was Japan separates
their time periods into certain
sequences so the temple period was
proclaimed after a few disasters happen
and it ended at a certain time I believe
at the death of the Emperor but I'm not
too sure about that and the bottom is a
two-hole so circulating treasure so this
just means currency so the currency of
the temple period so that's basically
what that says and on the sides you have
two little Mark's see one here okay so
most is just a dent and on the other
side you have another one and these are
actually mint marks
mint marks from the place where they
actually minted no I can't actually
identify these mint marks by themselves
it's I need a good magnification which I
can't actually get at the moment so a
lot of them made edo which was the
capital at the time you know of the
Tokugawa Shogunate and this is most
likely just wanted the most common ones
as you can see has a lot of damage to a
lot of corrosion inside there
you know what the pits I don't see a lot
of pitting here so this is probably
being buried in suffered corrosion okay
now on this side along with the value at
the top here we have a signature and my
off getting conflicting theories this is
Eva Hashimoto meatsuit suger soo go
oh gosh Porou meatsuit sugu take one of
those two periods and then he was the
actual first head of the mint under the
Tokugawa yes I oh and the reason why
he's signature is actually on his 18 I
need 100 coin is that his family still
running the mint so to actually put
their stamp of authority to show that
this coin was actually legal tender and
this is actually stylized so it's
probably more like a handwritten ink
signature in this a calligraphy up there
okay so these were demonetized in
roughly everything eighteen 1956 but
they were replaced by the Japanese yen
in 1871 and compared to other coins so
the base denomination was actually the
real
and this had value of 140th of a real so
run Rio equalled 4,000 won
so and this is 140 of a real know quite
like this denomination dick value the
values have gone up a bit in the last
few years I've had this a lot 10 years
or something so I can't remember how
much they cost but you pick an average
one up for like 25 Australian dollars I
believe and if you want to get better
quality one obviously they're going to
be more expensive anyway I'd like to say
thank you very much what G my video I
hope you learned something new today
because these coins are awesome Japanese
coins are complex and awesome have
awesome coin collecting time people bye
bye
